I like that the weather wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be The room was dusty, bed sheets had stains, floors were black, bathroom was filthy. I had to clean entire room before my family could stay in the room we unable to get cancel the room so I had to make the best of it. For what I paid I was very disappointed and I was very disappointed because this isn’t my first stay here

Room wasnt clean, there were women partying and dancing half naked, lots of yelling and screaming, cars peeling out at all hours of the night. When we went to check out early (6am) the door was locked and sign stated to call a number for keys and wouldn't open till 7am. I called and there was no answer. I had somewhere to be. Had to drop off my family and come back to turn in keys and check out.

I’ll give a second star for the location, which was perfect. Other than that… the first room I was given smelled of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. To the staff credit, she showed me two other rooms to choose from. I chose the one that smelled less. My fault, I did not inspect the bathroom before choosing the room. The tub was filthy. By the time I saw that, however, the office was closed and besides, I hate to be that person. I travel with Clorox wipes for that reason, so I cleaned out the hair and scraped the grime. Nothing I could do about the rust. Later that evening, I noticed a puddle around the refrigerator and had to throw out dinner leftovers that were soaked through the cardboard box they were in. During the night, the refrigerator started making noise so I unplugged it. I had read mixed reviews before booking, but proceeded with caution given the price and location. I suggest you do the same.

The South was awful rude inconsiderate and really heated us like we were some type of criminal then we were just trying to take a shower a shower was broke they couldn't fix it they would have put us in another room and then they told us that we had to leave because we complained about it there's no compensation or regard to our comfortability it was down right awful

The Location Only. Cleanliness 0, Soiled Bedding, Dirty Bathroom, Remote Not Working Properly,Very Grimy And Dusty Room. The Front Desk Attendant Very Rude. After 2Days I Moved In A Different Room Because The TV Wasn’t Working & The Curtains Wouldn’t Close, There Was No Hand Soap In The Bathroom, I Called The Office She Responded We Don’t Have Any And If You Have A Problem With It You Can Just Leave. Then She Hung Up About 5 Minutes Later She Knocked On The Door With A Gentleman And Brought The Hand Soap Dispenser In And Put It In The Bathroom “WOW” JUST RUDE.

Me and my son are Homeless due to people Gang-Stalking us. We appreciate them giving us a place to stay during this time period. Again it’s nothing personal against anyone but again people are out to get me and my son. It’s hard to trust anyone.

The reception was very understanding. In a 1 nights stay we had to switch rooms 3 times the first one wasn’t even finished being cleaned although the reception was told that the rooms was finished. We were placed in a 2nd room went out to eat and when we came back and got dressed to go out for the night we found out that the door was opening without the key. Maintenance came and removed the hub and told us to give him 5 minutes. I would say 30 to 45 mins later my fiancé went down stairs to see what was taking so long which is well past 9pm. Only to find the receptionist on the phone with customer service trying to get the hub programmed. So he asked for another room.

Absolutely nothing. I recommend going literally ANYWHERE ELSE. Everything and everyone. Staff is rude. The only person who isn't rude is their cleaning girl, she is such a sweetheart. Rest of the staff is rude and will not listen to you. Charged us for an extra day with no reason or explanation.

I would like to know who is responsible for cleaning the rooms before they are assigned, because the room I received did not meet acceptable cleaning standards. The bed sheets were stained and had hair on them, and the floor was sticky and covered in sand. This is not the level of cleanliness I expected and it was very disappointing. What I am most upset about, however, is that the police were called because I did not have my wallet on me while I was doing a late check-out. This situation took place on a weekend when there was a marathon happening, and I was gone most of the morning. When I returned to check out, I was willing to pay, but my phone had no battery, which at the time was the only way for me to complete the payment. I explained the situation to the front desk, but I was not offered any help or alternative solution. Instead of trying to help resolve the situation, the police were called, which I found unnecessary, embarrassing, and very upsetting. I was trying to resolve the payment, not avoid it, and I believe this situation was handled very poorly and without consideration for the circumstances I explained. Additionally, this was not a cheap hotel, and for the price paid, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service. The overall experience did not match the price or the standards that were advertised.

Close to everything. Walking distance to the beach. Cleanliness. Towels need bleach. Bed coverings need washing. We had 3 people in our room and were only allowed 2 towels.

There were scrapes and scuffs and dirt all over the walls. Potentially even poop in the bathroom. The mirror had not been cleaned. I always check for bed bugs and while there were none there was dirt all over the sheets. The floors were dirty as well. I booked here because this hotel had been reviewed recently as clean. I’m convinced those people found this place on a good day, or were fake reviews. The staff was nice and the parking was accessible. The location makes it a “win”. But to me those are the only redeeming qualities. Booked another hotel at 11:30 that night and Expedia only gave me a $25 credit. AVOID.

No, it didn’t have a kitchen in it. It was filthy. The floor was dirty. The bedspread had cigarette holes in it when you pull down the bedspread the sheets were filthy. The microwave was filthy and the place stunk like mold. Not to mention if you park in the parking lot, don’t leave any valuables because they also rent out the parking lot to people just hanging outon the beach so they’re not responsible for your car if it gets broken into.lol

To their credit, the staff was accommodating and did try to help, but unfortunately I was visiting during marathon week and there were no other hotels available, so relocating wasn’t an option. As a result, I barely got any rest due to the strong chemical odor. I understand the importance of cleanliness, but this was excessive and negatively impacted my entire stay.

Not enough parking, they rent their parking space out like a parking lot. If you get a space, don't leave. I left cover for the back of my SUV on the ground, called and asked if anyone turned it in, the front desk person said no. Decided to turn back and make the 15 mile journey to check, got there and the cover was on the front desk. Good thing I decided to take a chance. I don't like writing reviews, especially like this, but I've never seen this much callousness toward paying guest, ever. They were fair, it didn't matter who you were, I have to say there was equal opportunity unpleasantness.

Although upgraded, very nostalgic. I can't afford 100+ a night.. this was perfect. The big guys score the start? They did the same thing AI did... a place to sleep and shower. Only they chatterbox now for their ambiance. I'm easy to please. AI was all o needed. Keep up the good work.

The hotel is very close to the boardwalk and the beach, close by a lot of stores and supermarket, they have a good parking lot; but our room was just ok, the door doesn’t look and open easily, we asked for another pillow and they never send it, the remote control of the tv didn’t work well.

When I asked about handicap access she said we don’t have any first floor rooms , no elevator, and no escalator. No, I am not handicap but that is against the law. She was visibly bothered because I asked the question. I paid online prior to arrival. I wish that I hadn’t. I would have rather slept in the car or on the street than stay in this horrible place. And… the room was not cheap.

I would definitely stay here again as there's a VA beach Trolley that you can catch for ~ $2 to get down to Waterman's/Chix or anywhere along the strip. No coffee maker in room. Had coffee maker in office --tasted OK.

The lock on our door was broken and we did not realize it didn’t fully lock until the morning after our first night when we went for breakfast. When we went to tell front desk they told us we could just leave and maintenance would get to it in a few hours. They had no regard for our safety or see anything wrong with leaving the door unlocked with our belongings unattended for an unspecified amount of time. They act like it was a huge inconvenience for us to be concerned about the door. In addition to that when we got there, the room was not very clean. I came outside to leave and someone hit my truck. My bumber was pn the ground. My struck was side swipe on one side. The room, TV was not working. The cleaness of the room was just okay. Drugs was being sold out front. Very unsafe. Horrible experience.

The room I booked, a king, was not available when we arrived. So they put us in a room that they told us was two queens, but it was really two double beds. The floor in the bathroom was rotten, there was hair still in the shower and the sink. There were stains on the sheets. After walking around barefoot, our feet were black on the bottom. Very dirty and it stank of smoke. Went to get coffee in the morning and the office was locked. There was trash in the pool and something else unidentifiable- again, dirty. Way too much money to be this dirty and run down.

The location is worth hundreds a night but the hotel is scary and needs updated. Staff is friendly. When the cost is $50/night, you end up in a hotel with guests that are homeless. Great place for a quick overnight bed to crash but not great for a single mom/young family vacation.

It was okay for the location which is what you are paying for. Cleanliness was low due to hair found in white towels and linens and toilets. Thank goodness i had lysol, wipes and extra sheets.

Great location, easy access to the beach & boardwalk plus tons of restaurants within walking distance. Room was mostly clean minus a few areas but overall just fine for my one night stay. Bring your own blanket though.

I booked reservation because the website advertised laundry but upon arriving they said it was out of order. I stayed 5 days and it was still not fixed. The room was covered in black hair when I arrived. Towels were stained with blood and bodily fluids. Sheets were stained with blood and cigarette holes. Shower smelled of mildew and when I asked for different room they said they didn’t have any available but after walking around property I saw vacant rooms.

The staff is excellent and very affordable rooms for the accommodations offered. Amenities included are amazing.

The rooms were updated but not very clean or kept up.. blinds in bathroom were broken, there were flys in the room when we arrived. No elevator and stairs and walkways seemed unsafe.

Not the room i wanted to begin with. Was put on the 3rd floor which made my elderly father have a hard time traversing the stairs.the beds were way smaller then queen size beds like i wanted. The tv was absolute garbage and had crap channels. Saw a roach in the bathroom. The sheets were never changed during our stay. Our bare feet turned black and the floors obviously were never mopped and had to wear socks our entire stay. The water pressure was very weak to. Lots of shady caracters on the property. Ill never stay here again not even a overnight!

overall okay place , staff was helpful and there’s a lot of nice areas around the hotel good food options and the beach was super close by as well the room was you know a room it was little bit dirty in some areas but you get for you pay for but overall a good place no complaints.

Good place for a short visit!

Came for my birthday weekend so me and my friends could be close to the beach and the rooms weren’t very clean unfortunately. Sandy floors, dirt in bathtub and on toilet, paint stains on walls and floor and lots of dirt and dust every where. I’m not usually one to complain but for what it’s advertised and priced at, it just wasn’t very clean and the room my friend purchased reeked of fish and the toilet barely worked. The sheets and blanket you get on the beds are napkin thin and can barely cover one person so if you have 2 people in a bed bring extra blankets! Staff up front also refused to give us extra parking passes even after we paid for them which is insane- $20 a person. At least location was good for walking around

There were at least 10 flies in our room when we checked in. The shower appeared not cleaned with hair and hair ties left from previous guests. there was snot/boogers on wall. The fridge had rotting food in it. The TV did not work.

The only nice thing about this place was we were able to check in a little early. We asked if we could check out later and they told us best we could do is 15-20 minutes. We asked for extra towels because there was 4 of us and only 2 towels in the room, we called and they said wait 15 minutes then you can come to the office. We wanted to leave are car there while we went to eat and they said it would be $10. They also told us at 8:30am that they wanted to come into our room to look at which furniture was in our room. We will never stay again, they just wanted more and more money.

Good Stay

It is very sad that this property is under Wyndham. I don’t think that Wyndham properties and standards were kept. Starting from check in the office looks like a equipment or stockroom the hotel front desk staff looks unkempt. The room itself is very dirty. The floors were dirty, The room smells like cigarette smoke, The curtains by the window has cigarette burns, the sheets. God knows when it was last laundered. We usually bring our own cleaning supplies and while we were cleaning, we found someone’s detached finger on the TV console and that was very, very disgusting for a hotel under Wynham property everywhere else is disgusting including their grounds I believe in the same that you get what you pay for but they can do much better

For the price it wasn’t the worst place! The floor hadn’t been swept and there was weed sprinkled on the end stand plus the room smelled like it! The door didn’t shut very tightly and the sink wasn’t cleaned! The location is decent but at least fully clean your rooms!

They stole our deposit. Room was nasty. Their customer service is horrible. There was homeless people sleeping outside all over the property.
