Stayed here with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 pet. The space was great for us. Only complaint is the room was outdated and a bit dirty upon arrival. We also didn't have hand soap. Other than that, everything was what we expected. Key card was constantly not working either so had to go back to the main lobby for assistance.

Beds aren’t great, you can feel the springs. hard to get towels and extra amenities. room wasn’t clean. Left a day early and couldn’t get a refund.

While it is a non smoking property, that doesn’t mean the people who stay there are non smokers. The last person must have been a heavy smoker because the smell hung in the room like a wet cloud. Other than the smell, the place was adequate.

I didn't think the hotel presented as it was advertised. I did not safe as a single person traveling alone and immediately changed hotels. The staff was able to refund my second night, which was appreciated. The hotel is old, dated and needs some work.

Sinks have cracks, broken closet doors, there’s a hole on the first floor bedroom, bathroom door hinges do not have screws, also need to be aligned.

The room was set up for one person and not 3 people. The couch bed was uncomfortable and they didn’t set up the bed. This hotel is a disaster and flea bag. I wouldn’t stay if I were you. The staff were not friendly at all. I would give this place zero stars.

We didn't even eat, room cleanliness was so lacking, requested coffee maker replacement came filthy with sticks and leaves inside the filter area as if it had been in outdoor storage (a large 8 cup maker). I wouldn't eat there.

Relatively cheap and close to Wolf Trapp. Old and dated. Nothing redeeming about surroundings—no handy places to walk. If you needed to do some cooking during your stay (I did not) there really aren’t pots/pans/utensils to do that, even though there is a stove and refrigerator. Defeats the purpose of your stay.

The living room furniture seemed old. Also, someone had moved the bureau to the foot of the bed and the coffee table to under the window, so the furniture arrangement didn't make any sense. Seemed odd - we moved things to a more comfortable placement when we arrived.

Built like a garden apartment complex which made it cozy and has functional kitchen

The wifi was so bad they said theybwere goingbto repair it, that I had to leave tonfind a suitable hotel at the last moment. That was very expensive. Hard to imagine you cannot get wifi. There were three hangers in the closet? Will it really be so difficult yo have 10-15? That is not enough. So small but it shows you care. Doors and handles are a mess. Really old doors. Breakfast is really not good. You could do things so much better great location, good idea. It could be good value but as of now it is just not great. See above

Room was adequate. Kitchen was ok. Phone missing and door handle came off in one room. Toilet flush tank did not fill properly in the other. These issues were fixed when I contacted maintenance. Managers were rude.

Worst hotel stay ever. No carpet and a ground floor room, we now know is a bad combination. You hear all the foot steps from above. Our first night in room 214 we fell asleep but at 3am the people above us in room 224 got back. They were loud in the hall and clearly having a party above us. Not only loud walking around and voices but sounded as if they were bowling all night. The dishes in our kitchen were even rattling. A call to the desk did no good. This party continued until 6am and ruined our sleep all night. We would have been better off sleeping in our rental car. Fortunatly they checked out so our next night we got some sleep. Our third night the person above had insomnia and was walking about at 3am. Not as bad as the first night but enough to keep us from sleeping for about an hour. The breakfast was not great. Staff told us they were booked up and could not change our room and because we booked thru hotel.com, offered no compensation. They did say if we came back in the future they would take care of us. LOL, we will never return.

The staff was very friendly. The outside was a little run down but the room was average and very sizable. The room had a full kitchen with the oven which is great if you're traveling with family.

Dirty room, mold in the bathtub, no hangers in either closet. No tissues. Staff gave me 3 hangers in the end. VERY limited cheap breakfast on the first day. Nothing left for breakfast at 8:00 am on the second day. No coffee. Would not stay here again.

Good hotel, large rooms, and everything you need close to the best part of the city. Furniture is decent, utensils are fine. Breakfast is simple, but better than nothing. Free parking. Walkable to Walmart, fast food courts, and 2min close to a mall. On the downside, even though the photos already suggested it wasn’t new, it felt older than expected. That said, it delivers on what it promises. We were a group of 10 and booked two apartments, mine was fine, but my friends’ unit felt a bit more worn out.

I liked that it was more of a condo feel than just a hotel room. A full kitchen with utensils. To be in the middle of a busy area and still be quiet and secluded was nice. Location was within walking distance of the Metro, walmart and resturants. I will be staying here on my next trip to D.C.. The only complaint was there was construction in one of the other rooms in my building. Luckily it didnt start until after 9 A.M. so it didnt wake me up. I thought that was very courteous of them. No real complaints and am sure that work is done by now.

I checked out as soon as I checked in and saw the room! It smelled like lemon Raid and was overpowering. The place needs repairs on the steps and they were really dirty. I was very disappointed with the place.

I just wish I had stayed in a room where the door didnt make me feel like I was breaking in my own room. The place is decent, its just the carpenter bees were really hovering over my door.

The hotel needs some major updates. The furniture in our room was old and the floors were filthy. They have a big problem with bees flying everywhere..we had to dodge them to get into our room..i called front desk to ask for clean towels. They said i needed to bring the dirty ones to the front desk to get new ones. There were no tissues abd although the room had a kitchen.there were no dish towels or dish soap. Also no tissues . The fireplace was nice but you had to go to a store to buy wood and matches. The breakfast was a waffle maker and a few items.. i didnt go back the 2nd day. We will not return to this property.

This level of discomfort is unacceptable for the price we paid. The poor mattresses ruined our family stay in Washington.

I recently stayed at this property and cannot recommend it in its current condition. It is clear that the hotel has not been renovated in at least 20 years, and it is showing severe signs of wear and tear.The bathroom was in unacceptable shape, featuring filthy, stained surfaces and a scratched, dingy bathtub. Additionally, the towel holder was completely detached from the wall. The issues continued into the living spaces, with scratched and stained old furniture in both the kitchen and bedroom areas. The entire place felt dirty and outdated. It desperately needs a major, top-to-bottom renovation to be considered habitable.

Location: Great Rooms: Spacious Front Desk: Pleasant staff Main Door: Was not locking at all and was a safety issue. Walls: Bedroom and bathroom walls had holes. Water: Hot water stopped after a certain time (11pm) and then also in the morning when two of the members had their shower. Informed front desk and they couldn't help to provide a new room or send technician. Gym: Treadmill was the only working equipment. No water or towels. Breakfast: Choice was limited in comparison to even 2 star hotels.

Bath tub drained extremely slowly. Door to guest room was extremely difficult to open and close. Internet connection was difficult to establish but the staff was very helpful in getting it figured out. Need more than paper coffee cups in the room. Glass and/or plastic is needed for some types of drinks. Staff was great at getting a glass for me. Mini Mart/Sundries Shop needs alcohol to sell to guests. Parking spaces are too narrow. My passenger side door was hit by person opening the car door next to me. Entire facility needs a renovation -- the exterior looks very decrepit.

Improve the cleaning at the rooms

The room had flooded near the door following a storm, the bathtubs were peeling and the drains were rotted and jagged, the downstairs bathroom only had lukewarm water and the upstairs was hot enough to scald a child despite the sign stating it was a safety shower, the microwave did not work at all and its outlet was not attached to the wall allowing cold air to enter the room. The beds upstairs are also incredibly dangerous for families with small children as they are right next to the railing with only 10” from the top of the bed to the top of the railing. This room was the single worst part of our trip and I no longer trust the hotels.com descriptions.

For the price, it’s not bad given that this is in the Tyson’s area. Comfortable bed and pillows. We ran out of hot water after one shower, sadly.

Hotel in dire need of updates. Dining chairs were peeling, the carpet had permanent stains and wasn’t vacuumed. The windowsills, mix matched lamp shades and sofa bed mattress were stained as well. We saw a bug on the floor and the kitchen had ants. The ceiling had water stains and the phone was missing buttons, the receiver was broken and it did not work. Overall, this was a very poor hotel that I do not recommend.

Excellent customer service!! The place was great for the price(especially for Tyson’s corner). We had an awesome stay. A little bit of an older place but great price for a suite. A lil work on the breakfast tho😂

Two lights do not work. The one over the kitchen sink and the one between the bathroom and the bed was very dim but would flicker every couple of minutes. The bathtub didn’t seem cleaned at all. There were so many different strands of hair all over it. Other than that the staff was nice so I would come back as long as those things were fixed.

In detail the room damaged, the water wasn’t hot after a shower. The security deposit wasn’t a part of the first agreement, it came out of the blue one we were checking in. The breakfast was cheap, and the service was terrible.

My lawyer will work for free so I’m not stressing it

This place is falling apart and the management will seek revenge if you give a bad rating which I had happen to me personally but I believe in karma I was a good paying guest staying weeks at a time and they tried to charge me $50 for a towel that I used to clean up a coke spill because a roach was in my cup and I threw the cup unbelievable !! glad to be away from that filthy place and the vindictive lady manager

It was near the metro and Wolftrap Our room was listed as a non-smoke room but it had an odd, smokey smell.

Great location relative to Wolf Trap Room wasn’t ready when we arrived- 2 hours after check-in time. Clerk said it was and sent us there. There were some items in the new room that appeared to be left behind from other people, that made us question how well it was cleaned at all. These items included a European electric outlet adapter and a nice pink bra!

The pathway from our room to the breakfast area had steps with no railings for my wife so we couldn.t walk there, had to drive to breakfast, no tissues provided in room. the garden areas around all the buildings only had weeds growing in them. That's enough

This is my home away from home, but this was not a good stay. I was put into a terrible room. The door was really hard to open. I had to keep going to the office for a key. I didn’t like push the door in because it was just so hard to sit and open. I actually got locked in the bathroom because that door was messed up, and I tried to cook myself some baked potatoes in the oven and thought I was gonna set the place on fire. The oven was smoking so badly that I was told the fire department was called so yeah this was not my best stay here but I do love this place and I will continue to stay here and just get another room

The reception staff were attentive. The breakfast was always replenished and the area was clean. The only issue was that the kitchen utensils were missing in the room, and the food disposer was leaking water when used. Otherwise, I had a great stay with my family! The area is truly wonderful, close to Walmart and great shopping malls.

We enjoyed the stand-alone apartment with fireplace and kitchen. Bed was not super comfortable, water pressure not so great. There were two mugs, two bowls and two plates, but no glasswear, so bring your own if you like to drink out of glasswear. Location was good for getting to our family events.

The bedsheets and bathroom were clean. Everything else, from other bedding, to drawers, all surfaces, even the walls themselves, were extremely dirty and disgusting. We cut our 3night stay short after 1 night (it was late and we were desperately in need of sleep) and they refused to refund both other nights. Do not go here; I'm not super picky but it looks like they haven't cleaned properly in Years. The bedsheets and bathroom were clean. Everything else, from other bedding, to drawers, all surfaces, even the walls themselves, were extremely dirty and disgusting. We cut our 3night stay short after 1 night (it was late and we were desperately in need of sleep) and they refused to refund both other nights. Do not go here; I'm not super picky but it looks like they haven't cleaned properly in Years. It would be better if they didnt offer it at all’ lol or do something better and charge a fee for it. No Phone in the rooms and the tv was a bit complicated to figure it out. Really the place has a lot of potential to be a beautiful and clean enviroment but maybe they dont want to invest in it. I would stay there again.

The front desk apologize and gave me a fitted sheet a regular sheet and three pillowcases to put on my bed, but they didn’t have a blanket.. I went to change the sheets and take the old ones off and underneath them for so many dead bugs and stuff. There is no way those sheets have been changed for a very long time. It was disgusting. The front desk staff is very nice.. they day of checkou which is at 11 o’clock, at 9 30, as I was still getting ready, housekeeping knocked on my door and said they needed to clean it and it was time for me to go. I told her NO ! Check out is at 11. I will be gone at 10:45. She was mad and tried to say it was 11. I showed her my phone and she left. Also, the net in that place will drive you crazy and the furniture is broken..

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room is dated and has a few maintenance issues. I reported them upon check out (nothing I couldn't live with for two nights), and the information was well received.

Loved the layout of the spacious suite. The kingsize bed is very confortable. A nice feature is they offer free breakfast. Several improvements/ upgrades need to be made, especially to the bathroom. No waste basket in the bathroom, and the exhaust fan is extremely loud. The tub could use a deep clean with comet. The bathroom tile needs deep cleaning of the grout, it waa filthy. Dirty corners on the floor.

The place and the people were all nice. It’s just the sheets and the bed. It’s like something is poking us and making us itch. It feels like it hasn’t been washed. But other than that, we had a great stay in the hotel. Just hoping to have a cleaner sheets and beddings next time.

Same price as a regular hotel with two beds in one room but this was like a small apartment. Only downside not a lot of parking.

The property is good with the number of guest we had with good reasonable rates. But the furniture were very old. Bed was making squeaky noise. Carpet looked like old school and dirty. There were cockroaches and house centipedes. There were no glasses in washroom for mouth wash. No tissues were provided. Single sofa was dirty and worn out. Only dishwasher tablet was provided. Should have also provided a liquid dish soap for quick wash so that it can be reused again same day. Very less spoons. Overall the property needs upgrade. Its very old.

TV didn’t work so we were moved to another room. Everything was fine. The property looks and feels tired. One lamp had no bulb. Towel bar was falling off the wall. Staff was nice.

I booked this property because it was in Tysons Corner VA, not far away, had enough beds for me & my 3 kids & was pet friendly. I booked this property knowing it was rated 7.8, knowing it was not 5 star, but also I saw numerous 10/10 reviews. The suite was definitely beat up & needed to be refurbished. Around 11:30 pm we all tried to go to sleep. At 1:30 am an older man started knocking on our door claiming we were playing loud music, I told him that people were sleeping. At 2:30 am more knocking on our door, same man, said he was 82 years old & couldn't sleep because our boombox was too loud. I told him it was not us, that he needed to get away from my room or I would call the police. I then called the front desk who said they would check. We decided to leave feeling unsafe. When we got to the parking lot a man came from around the corner clearly intoxicated immediately scaring us. He then pulled a gun out of his pants & told us he was going to bust on us & pop off. I told my kids to get in the car & I got the guy to follow me & then I went to the car & we drove off, terrified. My kids have been traumatized. The police were called & later they told us they arrested 2 men for public intoxication. This is a known dangerous property

No one at desk at check in and had trouble attracting anyone despite waiting, ringing bell and calling out a few times. Front desk attendant otherwise friendly. AC in main check in building out. Hotel is dated and worn but safe and practical for a stay near Wolftrap- only a 5 minute drive.

I have stayed at this place before and the first time was great. My girlfriend and I didn’t want to drive while under the influence and since we stayed here before we thought we just stay the night then head home in the morning. The first room was not clean so the man moved us to another room and that room well I let you look at the pictures. We were too tired and decided to just shower in our shoes and just make it through the night. But $107 for our experience is crazy I want a refund. We left at 6am this morning because we were ready to get out of there.

The room size is great for any large family. The only issue we had was that There was mold growing on and around the air vents. Whenever the AC came on you can smell the mold in the air. One of my family members started to get sick and we had to check out the next day.

For its price, location and condition, I'm very satisfied. We did have some internet connection problem the first day, but that was due to a storm in the previous day. After it's fixed, no other problems at all. The breakfast was also decent. Will book again for other trips to DC.

Our stay was very comfortable. We were here to visit DC and the metro was so close and easy to access. Wanted to avoid the higher prices in DC so booked here for the suite and ability to cook. The setup is fantastic, plenty of room to stretch out. The suite was clean, a little dated but nice. Beds were comfortable, had a full sized refrigerator and the shower had the best pressure I’ve ever experienced at any hotel. The surrounding property is very nice, too bad pool and hot tub were closed. Breakfast was standard Wyndham continental spread. Staff was very friendly. Surrounding area was clean and safe with several different dining options and a Walmart within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

However the room had multiple broken fixtures; plug outlets that wouldn’t work, TVs without signal, the TV in the bedroom was missing. The blinds were broken, the handle missing from bathroom door, the sofa bed in the living room was stained and unkept. We messaged the desk thru desk as directed with no response. The breakfast was not edible. Not accommodating to children.

Exceptional service from every person working the front desk. The hotel itself was just what we needed, spacious, comfortable and just what we needed. Close to restaurants, metro and Walmart.

The location was good for my needs and parking was convenient. Otherwise, I was very disappointed in the hotel. The facility is shabby inside and out with peeling paint, stained floors and walls, and a lock that literally fell off the door. I will not stay here again, there are plenty of other choices nearby.

The hotel needs a lot of updating. I arrived late about 11pm and just wanted a good shower and to watch TV. I got the shower but TV was blt working. So I let it go the first night of my stay. Breakfast is not full and its very deceiving on the hotel profile when booking. I mentioned the breakfast was lacking to front desk staff. I travel a lot so have plenty of knowledge regarding how a full hreakfast looks. There were no fruit, no muffins, no yogurt and not even 2 types of milk. Usually there is both whole milk and reduced/half milk options. I had to purchase breakfast down the street at Dunkin Donuts which should not happen after staying at hotel. Especially for the nightly price I paid. On the second night I got back to room and wanted to use the microwave to heat food. Then realized the microwave didn't work. Also the second night I walked to front desk to ask for help with TV. The man at front desk was no help to me. So I paid for a 2 night stay and didn't get to watch TV. I like to use hotel amenities that I pay for do this hotel was very disappointing. I called corporate to complain and still no response back from hotel manager. I do not recommend staying here. Its not worth the price.

Since the housekeeping services work only once in a week, if one chooses to stay for a longer duration, they'll not be able to avail the housekeeping service & their room start stinking too. It's recommended only if you're traveling single, not at all recommended for families.

Bath tub seal did not work so you couldn’t take a bath. Very strict about leaving time with certain times costing extra hour by hour. Noisy at night. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were essentially flat. We won’t be back.

there was no heat in the room; I am sure the thermostat motion detector was not working correctly but I did not have the time to pursue; I slept with 3 blankets on me and work up to 60 degrees; it is a good price and no major cleanliness issues but very worn and two small holes in the wall of my room

Unfriendly and not helpful

The property is not unreasonably priced, however the room was not in great shape and there is a security deposit. There were stains on the floor, walls, the tubs and sinks were dirty, there was stains on the towels and sheets. The door to the bathroom upstairs was broken and could not be locked. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The staff was very nice, and friendly.

The only thing that saved it for me was honestly the staff. Because my key didn't work TWICE (and they only give you one), I did get to talk with the staff a couple times. I dealt with two people: a mom with bangs and hand tattoos, and a gentleman with a beard and I think a chain around a blue turtleneck. They were both very nice and patient, they're doing a great job.

The hotel used to be nice, but now it is run down. the bed sheets was not change from last stay, found multiple hairs on bed and floor is sticky.

One minor problem was the electronic lock on our room door. I inserted the card, the green light came on, but the door wouldn't open. Second try, the light was red. Third try, no light, Fourth try, green light and the door opened. It happened each time we used the key card.
