Inn at the Beach

Loved this cute little inn on the beach! So conveniently located and So thoughtfully decorated and well maintained. Very accommodating and allowed for early check in and late check out so we could maximize our time at the beach. Beach chairs and sand sifters were available for us to use. Local bakery supplied pastries for a simple but delicious continental breakfast. The only concern we had was that the air conditioning did not get that cold. We made it work!

This was our 2nd time staying here. As always it was a great experience. Staff is awesome rooms are clean and property is pretty quiet. Not to mention steps to the beach. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

I also appreciated the donuts in the morning and the coffee was actually good coffee. Just a wonderful experience overall.

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love how it is 10 steps away from the beach, they provide breakfast from a local bakery which is delicious, then they have beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand shifters to borrow for free. The umbrella is a life saver in the florida sun and the shifter is just the best thing ever to find alot of shark teeth. We love the microwave and fridge. Makes it easier to save some money that way. Great hotel.

Rooms we're clean and spacious, so convenient to have the hotel across from the ocean so perfect for our family!

We absolutely loved every single thing about this hotel. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find out that our room had been upgraded. Daily housekeeping! I haven't found a place that provides this service since before COVID. The contental breakfast was amazing, as a local bakery provided freshly made goods. The staff was phenomenal and so helpful. Perfectly situated across the street from the beach, which provided easy beach access. There is so much more but I will not spoil all of the surprises. We will definitely be back.

Great location across from the beach where we got to hunt for sharks teeth! Staff offered beach and pool toys for kiddos along w water bottles anytime.

We loved our stay here! What a beautiful hidden gem! We rented the 2 bed suite. It was big enough for all 6 of us to be comfortable and enjoy time together between beach breaks, pool breaks and walks to town for dinner and ice cream. They had wonderful breakfast and lent us tools to find sharks teeth (we found 3!). We really couldn't have been happier to stay here and will be back!

Charming hotel at Venice Beach did not disappoint! Our double studio room was clean spacious and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub are sparkling clean. The beach is directly across the street. Throughly enjoyed our stay!

The carpet was really dirty, it felt sticky and the pillows felt like bean bag's and heavy the bed was hard and the breakfast had no eggs or pancakes or anything hot but bagels to make that was hot. The ac is in front of the refrigerator so when you got back from the beach and need a drink, it was like you would get sick in front of the ac, the valum on the TV only works on two settings so it was you couldn't hear it or it would blow a ear drum! The sheets were stained. I don't recommend it

We loved everything about our stay at Inn at the Beach in Venice. Our room was perfect and we were steps away from the beach. Housekeeping is top notch. We enjoyed walking to the Venice Community Park to play tennis, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Great location in beautiful Venice. We will definitely be back!

Property is very cool, old Florida, walking distance to restaurants in Historic Venice and right across from the beach. Other than breakfast (ok but not great) the place is stellar and I’d go back anytime.

Being a traveler, I absolutely loved that they had items for their guests to use at the beach like umbrellas, chairs, and etc. I will definitely be staying here when I come to visit Venice again.

The room as clean, loved our mini kitchen. Very useful. Right by Venice beach, within walking distance like about 2 block from the beach! Staff helpful. BF was nice great coffee, lots of baked goods. They had items you can borrow like shark teeth screens, beach chairs, your room has beach towels, laundry area, small pool. Loved our stay here would visit this area and stay at this hotel again for sure!!!

Love this place!! Staff was awesome, the grounds are well maintained and the room exceeded our expectations. Cute decor and was really quiet, parking was a breeze. Had everything we needed and it is right across the street from the beach, literally RIGHT across the street. It is about a half mile walk to the downtown area for restaurants and shopping, but there is a quick hamburger/hotdog place in the same block that was convenient for a quick bite (really good fries). If you are looking to shark tooth hunt, they have scoops and floating sifters available. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is easy to get to and just across the street from the beach. The room was spotless and well maintained. Besides a microwave and mini fridge it also had a toaster and dishes.

This property is directly across from beach access. It is adorable. The room was spacious and VERY clean. The continental breakfast was fresh and easy. Pool area was clean. Hotel provided beach towels and chairs if needed. Staff was super friendly. This was my first time in Venice and I had a wonderful time. Hubby and I could walk to village which was about 3/4 of a mile away. I would go back again.

The staff was so accommodating and chill. The location was fantastic: the beach was directly across the street (low traffic street), the breakfast was just what you need, the coffee was hot all day, .6 miles to the little downtown and everyone was so friendly.

Beach is right across the street, the room was sparkling clean. The front desk person was super attentive and polite. Pool is open until 11pm. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you!!!!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Venice Beach, partly due to the stress free experience at this hotel. Right across the street, there was a drum circle when we arrived. The location, cleanliness, and upkeep of the hotel is stellar.

Perfect location! Close to the beach and a short walk to main Street for great shopping, restaurants, and bars. Good selection on the complementary breakfast. We didn't try out the pool but it looked nice Faint mildew smell that is typical in beach hotels. The air conditioner was loud and not super efficient.

We had a premier king suite and found it just right. The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool is often in the shade unless you're in it in the morning however it was clean and the jacuzzi was hot. The room stays cool and the hotel had nice amenities like a hose to clean off beach gear. Very accommodating.

Clean, quiet across the street from Venice Beach. They provide fluffy towels, comfortable chairs and an umbrella. Free breakfast (bagels, yogurt, cereal) and bottles of water. Rooms are clean. Includes refrigerator, microwave, stove... And popcorn! And of course, TV probably with all the channels. (Didn't use TV) We booked last minute and had to change our room. But we packed up and the housekeeping staff moved everything including the refrigerator contents. And they gave us the room early so it was great

This property is right by the beach. Also, all the restaurants and chops are within walking distance. It is very cute clean great staff on it is an older property so maybe not as modern. It has been renovated somewhat. We enjoyed our stay at the end and would come back mainly for the location.

Wow! What a perfect nice place on the beach!

Perfect little hotel across from the beach! It was super clean and the beds were so comfy and you can’t ask for more with the beach chairs, umbrella and even the sifters to look for sharks teeth. The little breakfast was perfect and I loved that it was open until 10:00. I can’t wait to return!

I thought I was getting a room looking towards the ocean with an open patio. Mine was enclosed and looking at the parking lot. I book a room to have a view and this one did not.

Staff was wonderful and you can’t beat the location. Hop, skip and jump to the beautiful Venice beaches and a short walk to the lovely, robust downtown on the linear park. They kindly upgraded us to a larger room. Nice to have a continental breakfast included. It wasn’t cheap, but for the location at the height of the season, what can you expect?

This hotel was absolutely immaculate and beautiful! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were in pristine condition, and the grounds were perfectly manicured. We will be back here for sure, as it was all of these things AND affordable!

Great value for the location, great location in general. Guest service was amazing (minus the woman who checked me out) - check-in, housekeeping, the maintenance gentleman who offered to help us with our bags. Complimentary parking, nice pool and area to rinse off after the beach, everything was wonderful. The woman who “checked me out” didn’t ask what room, how the stay was, offer a receipt, offer something from the breakfast, nothing. Just said, “ok, you’re good.” Not hospitable at all. Older lady, don’t know her name.

I loved my stay at Inn at the beach Venice. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Very clean room. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious, the room has everything you need. The Inn has a local bakery bring us pastries, cereal, bagels, fruits, milk, juice, and coffee. The beach is across the street and has a small but mighty shop. Everything was so peaceful. In the morning you see the locals running/ walking, yoga at the beach. Within steps there are more shops. Everything closes by 5pm and there's nothing happening on Sundays. It's the perfect retreat if you are wanting peace and relaxation. I'll book again.

Matt greeted us as if we were family and he put a nice bottle of wine in our room with little gifts to help make our 1st Year Anniversary experience special. Most of the staff have been working there for many years. The hotel is spotlessly cleaned every day. We were just around the corner from fabulous restaurants and live music. Memorable experience, for sure. We sifted for sharks teeth but did not find any so we purchased some at a local shell shop on the main drag. Just a suggestion. TV.s could have been larger and Shower could be larger for the king suite. perhaps remodel bath to just a large shower with two heads and a bench. I would paint the walls a more neutral color now. Yellow is out.

What also got me, was the cleanliness of the hotel and hotel room. Plus, bed and chairs were very comfortable. Bathroom, excellent. We took our bikes and rode the Legacy Trail up to Sarasota Springs and back. The next day, we headed south to the another part of the beach and afterwards, by car to Pinecraft.

Everything was great! Grounds and room are beautiful and well maintained.

All of the staff were courteous and friendly. The room was extremely clean and had everything a person would need. The water was hot and the pressure was excellent. The towels were soft and way above motel grade. The beach was gorgeous and the pool area was very nice. The adjoining restaurant was very good and extremely convenient.

This place surpassed my expectations! We shared a 2 bedroom suite with my sister and her husband and it was perfect. We had a small kitchen that we weren’t expecting, nice furniture, and so clean! The staff was responsive, respectful, and friendly! Just across the street from the beach and minutes from the cute downtown area. We had all the beach items we needed since we live in Florida, but if you are coming from far away, they also have everything you need for the beach too. So pleased with our stay and well worth the money. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I would give the Inn an A Plus.

Although the abundance of amazingly sweet and oozing donuts and pastries was exciting the first day, the lack of savory and healthy choices was disappointing. Maybe some boiled eggs and deli meat slices would have made it more 'Continental'. At least they had apples, oranges and bananas. By the third day we were rather over the carb and sugar overload! The coffee was excellent, and Dee did a wonderful job of keeping the buffet stocked. It is a great location if you like to hang out on the beach (way better than Naples!) and the pleasant 10 minute walk along the path in the center of the boulevard to the small, but thriving town center was clean and folks were generally very friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

We came here on a family vacation & loved it so much. The staff were so helpful and the room was so cute and accommodating. Everything was clean and the feel of the entire place was so coastal. I loved it. The only thing that was a small let down was the included breakfast, which was just ok but really what hotel breakfasts are. Overall this place was just perfect and exactly what I was looking for for a nice quiet beach getaway. Oh and the little town was so darling. I would come here again for sure.

We love this quaint spot on the Beach. The breakfast pistachio muffins are our favorite. The staff is always accommodating and friendly, and the room is beautifully decorated. You can’t beat the location right on the beautiful Venice Beach. We love the drum roll at sunset and all the seashells. Great restaurants all around.

The room was quaint. Really nice features, was lovely and comfortable. It looked like what I picutre sometihing in florida looking like. I forgot to mention sifters they allow you to use. It was big as people just searching were finding a few sharks teeth, but I found a lot. What a fun treasure hunt and the sifter made it so much easier. They have pastries from a local donut place and they were really good. They had water bottles available and were very helpful in sharing places to go, things to do and places to eat. Definately stay here if you want to go shark tooth hunting, be on the. beach and have simpley wonderfu people help you.

Great pool, great beach access (1-2 min walk), great staff, great rooms, great continental breakfast, great everything! The whole facility is clean and neat, inside and out! This place is awesome. My wife and I brought 12 kids and grandkids along with us for 5 nights and every one of us had a blast.

If you are traveling to Venice Florida, I can't recommend a place to stay any more than the Inn at the Beach. Service was over the top, room was spotless every day, staff was extremely friendly. We will be back again to Venice, and when we do 100% we will be staying at Inn at the Beach.

I thought there would be more hot foods. I expected eggs , waffles, biscuiyts and gravy. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here every year. So close to the beautiful beach!

The AC was noisy, the lamp by the door did not work, the windows did not open so we had to hear the AC all night. The inner courtyard, pool area was unappealing like being in a parking lot. The breakfast was just sugary stuff, not really what I would consider a breakfast. The location is excellent though. Overpriced for what they offer really.

Very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and a 1 minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walk to to downtown nightlife. The hotel had great amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas and shark teeth sifters free for guest usage. I have stayed here twice now and will definitely stay again when visiting Venice Beach.

What a fabulous location! We had a beautiful room with a full kitchen. The pool and hot tub were clean. We’ve already told so many people about this hotel and are already planning on coming back!

The staff were so friendly and the amenities were amazing. They provided a decent contiential breakfast, coffee was delicious. They even gave tips for finding shark teeth, beach chairs, umbrella and sifters to help find shark teeth. They were superb, best hotel and such a fun time.

Very clean rooms, about a 4 minute walk to the beach. The office provides pastries, yogurt, fruits, milk, cereal and coffee for breakfast. A few snacks are available all day along with bottled water. Housekeeping every day which was amazing. The office is accommodating and had chairs, umbrellas and even a scoop to look for shark’s teeth. Of course these are available first come first serve. Free parking! Will definitely stay again.

Our room was cute and cozy with a personal patio area. The location of the property was perfect for a short walk to the beach and a short drive up the street to shops and restaurants. My kiddos enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The staff were all so kind! It was an amazing stay, and we will be back!

The property is beautiful, right across from the beach where you have easy access and a little beach store. You can walk to downtown Venice on a beautiful walking path through the boulevard next to the resort. The downtown is lovely with a variety of shops and restaurants. The landscaping is beautiful and the lobby is unique. Continental breakfast is available every morning which was a bonus, and water is available anytime. The staff is wonderfully friendly and does a thorough job. The beach is very clean and there were many prospectors looking for shark teeth since this area is the shark tooth of the world. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. It provided one of my best vacation experiences.

Very uncomfortable bed, older renovation with a tiny shower surround that leaked water beneath the shower door. Highly overrated hotel!

The hotel was nice , clean, very inviting with friendly staff service that was very helpful and welcoming it was very heart warming . Check in /Check out was very fast and easy .....the hotel had a pool and hot tub both which we're very relaxing and enjoyable, the hotel had several great amenities along with beach access not even 2 minutes from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone who is taking a trip to Venice Beach Florida

Small, quaint, well maintained property convenient to the beach. It is located in a residential area, so it is quiet. There are no restaurants or shopping within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Inn at the Beach.

Adorable Inn!!! Right across the street from Venice Beach. Beach towels were provided. Beach chairs and sand sifters available at the front desk for use. Staff were super friendly. Room was adorable, with a full kitchen that was well stocked. Will absolutely stay again!!

My husband and I recently stayed in a King suite unit. I was very impressed as how fresh and clean it was from the lobby, general grounds and room. The room was flawless and completely spotless! Even the pool area is meticulously maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location- perfect. Easy walk to the beach and little downtown area. I’d stay here again in the future for sure!

My stay was great. It is an old Florida feel with wood shutters on the windows and a ceiling fan. The convenience to the beach was great. I didn't care for the hard beds, and pillows. Also, the A/C unit is loud, and you cannot hear the TV when the compressor is running. Aside from that everything was lovely. Location, Location, Location!! Very. very clean!!

We have stayed here 3-4 times. Always fantastic. Literally across the street from Venice Beach. Easy to walk to so much. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious.

The hotel was wonderful and staff couldn’t have been nicer. They had beach umbrellas, towels and chairs to lend for no extra charge. Housekeeping did a great job daily. Everything felt tidy and clean in the well-maintained room. Double bed was a little small for husband and me but we slept well since we swam all day. Inn on the Beach is the perfect getaway spot!

We love this little hotel.

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Its very convenient to the beach. The beach is not the best beach as there was lots of seaweed and its a very deep beach from the moment you step in. Sand is blackish and extremely hot to walk on. But as for the Hotel, its excellent.

Breakfast in the morning (continental). The bed was very comfortable. No problems with WI-FI. steps to the beach. Pool is nice but a little small, but I assume most people would be at the beach. there is a hot-tub too. I loved the hotel, the beach and the Venice area; close to shopping, great restaurants and quaint little stores.

Perfect location, the inn is just across the street from the beach. Also walking distance to Main Street, restaurants and outdoor entertainment. The room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was good with several options.

Such a comfortable peaceful property. Newly renovated after hurricane damage. Manager, Matt, helped us when the room above us must have overfilled the tub. He offered to move us, cleaned up the water and was so kind. Front desk and cleaning staff were wonderful as well!!

Got out of town for the 3 of us to celebrate our birthdays and just enjoy family. The hotel was awesome everyone was very friendly 😀 will definitely go back

It was our first time staying in Venice and we were really happy with our lodging choice. Our room wasn’t quite ready, so we headed to the beach. It was wonderful that the Inn had sifters available for people to use - that was super helpful and saved money for a hobby we just started! The room was quaint, nice staff, we felt safe and slept well. The only minor inconvenience was that the TV didn’t work - no channels were available. But, it wasn’t a huge deal, we used our phones instead. I would definitely recommend this Inn.

I had an amazing stay at Inn at the Beach in Venice, Florida! The location couldn’t be better — it’s right across from the beach, so I was able to catch breathtaking sunsets and walk the shoreline every day within seconds of leaving my room. What makes this place even more special is how close it is to downtown Venice. I loved being able to stroll just a few blocks and find great restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Everything is within walking distance, making it super convenient and relaxing — no driving needed! The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the property itself is beautifully maintained. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway or want to explore charming downtown Venice, this inn is the perfect spot. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We thought this property was wonderful! The pictures do not do it justice. The staff, the extras, the fresh made pastries and coffee in the lobby. They have chairs, umbrellas and shark tooth digging supplies for the beach which is directly across the street. Would absolutely stay again!!

Wonderful hotel with helpful staff, clean and comfortable accommodations, and convenient location! My sister and I stayed in a deluxe double studio which had a very nice layout and view of Venice Beach. The hotel provides nice toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap) and free beach chair, shark tooth sifters, and umbrella rentals. Complimentary bottled water and delicious pastries were available each day. It was a great stay and we would stay again!

Staff are very helpful and professional. Very Quaint , Clean And quiet. AC blowing cool air during summer can be a challenge, and parking can be a challenge as well during peak days and weekends. 🙂. Walking distance to main historic main Street and the beach...oh yes the beach. But if.you ask me do i want to go back to the Inn again? yes we will. 🙂

Great hotel staff Chris and Dee were very kind and welcoming! We loved the location just across the street from the beach and that we could borrow chairs and sifters from the front desk. I would recommend staying here! The only downside was the in room AC unit was very loud when it would turn on. The room looked a little outdated but was very clean and convenient having a fridge and kitchenette.

The Inn At the beach was the perfect place for visiting Venice Beach. You could walk or drive over to the beach which was gorgeous, clean, with showers and bathroom facilities. Our two bedroom suite with kitchen and living room area was perfect for our family of six. Not only were beach towels provided, but they supplied us with beach chairs, rakes, shovels, and strainers for shark tooth hunting at the beach. They also had a nice continental breakfast each morning. We were also minutes away from downtown Venice with great dining and shopping as well as several nice beachfront restaurants where we had dinner and watched the sunset each evening. Would highly recommend The Inn at the Beach!
