This was definitely a get what you pay for situation. The room was dirty and smelled like it as well. There was sticky spills on the floor, hair in the tub and on the floor in the bathroom, stains on the comforter as well as burn holes. When this was brought up to staff nothing was done and we still had to pay a $50 deposit which I’m still waiting to be returned. Not recommended.

The staff are professional and courteous. I like that I can check-in at 3PM instead of 4PM. Also, the room was sufficiantly clean.

Simple place and perfect for my needs. The office manager guy was very kind and helpful. The location is AWESOME. Go for a walk and check out the river path. Fun places to eat nearby.

Location was good. There is not a pet area, but you can easily walk them through town. If I was staying in the area I would be okay staying here again and just know what to expect. For the price, it is a great option. Better area for pets, parking a larger vehicle can be difficult, only two pillows on a queen bed (for those who prefer more, just a heads up) and rooms are not very soundproof.

Staff, good location, spacious, comfortable and great value. Housekeeping needed to clean to a higher standard (pet hair, human hair on towels, dirty floors) but the facilities were spacious and well-equipped (great large refrigerator) and robust older fixtures (no stupid low-flow showers or toilets--The Real Thing) and that is Essential. So just needed more attention to detail and occasional mopping of floors.
- 4.5/5
The comforter on the bed was thin and not as warm as I prefer

Pros: The room was generally clean and the location is very good (easy walk to downtown core and the terrific weekend farmers’ market). It was cheap and no fee for the dog! Cons: I was told at check-in that I had selected a smoking room (I’m positive I wouldn’t “select” one) and to avoid it, I needed to upgrade my room for, like, $13 or some nominal fee. They also have a big, mostly empty lot, yet charge for parking. Finally, stains/burn holes in the bedspread (in my slightly more expensive nonsmoking room).
- 1/5
Adequate parking and good location. Beyong that, i selected 2 nights no smoking room. I got there. Only smoking ros available. Prepaid =screwed. So I stayed. Next day i ask if there were non smoking rooms avaliable. Yes... for an upcharge of 30%... really? Dishonest practices.

Please note that the WiFi here is terrible! It’s nonexistent. So if you need good WiFi you’ll need to stay elsewhere. I travel for work and have stayed at a lot of Motel 6 properties all over the country because of the cost and pets stay free at most locations. I’ve stayed at this property 2-3 times. It’s clean, fairly quiet and safe. Parking spaces fill up quickly as it appeared as if there were a number of permanent residents staying there. No housekeepers knocking on your door on a daily basis. There’s lots of restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. Esther Short park and the waterfront are a few blocks away and there is often a lot happening in the summer such as outdoor concerts. I had an issue with my door not closing unless I was in the room with the dead bolt engaged. I was told I’d have to wait like two days for maintenance. And then I asked for additional time to check out because I was changing hotels and traveling with a pet. The manager/owner told me I could have until 1130. But then he was literally knocking at my door 1115 asking why I hadn’t left yet. I He was very rude and for that reason, I will never stay here again.

Very plain standard room but it was clean and it was comfortable.

We got the night of the reservations mixed up. The little man on the other side of the window, said no tomorrow as he slams the door shut on us. I asked what we were going to reply as I don't care. This wouldn't have been much of a problem normally except that I'm in a wheelchair and no buses were running at 12:30 am. I've stayed at this hotel many many times. I even work downtown, which is why I like to stay there. More times than not the customers are treated rudely and disrespectfully. I just felt it was about time someone spoke up.

Nice and clean room and recently remodeled so it was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and our stay was awesome! Shout out to Michael at the front desk for excellent customer service.

Dirty room.

It was the last room available. Therefore it was a smokers room, And how it smelled like it . But I guess I knew what I was getting beforehand. Not the greatest location . Lock your doors kind of feeling when you arrive.
- 3/5
Property is older and in a good location for downtown. The room was clean but the smell was pretty bad. Maybe it was a former smoking room they tried to cover up?
- 4/5
Rooms were absolutely disgusting .. we have pictures... there was hair on the bed ans other stuff. The bathrooms were nasty.

The housekeeper was kind enough to give us extra blankets.

The room was clean quiet easy to check in and at a very convenient location for my granddaughters wedding which is why we came into town from Coquille, Or would come again

No bath mat or bath rug. No shower liner. Which made the floor wet. No tea and only enough coffee to make one small cup. Hello, there are two people staying here. No breakfast near buy.
- 2/5
The temperature unit was placed entirely too high in the room. I had to stand on a chair in order to adjust the temperature in the room. Needless to say, this presents a liability issue. Especially when I brought this up to staff and they refused to give me any type of compensation or move me to another room.

Really enjoy the spacious corner room. It was quiet enough for a restful sleep. I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
I’ve stayed here many times they have recently upgraded things inside the rooms I like, it’s a great location downtown, staff isn’t always very friendly. Got weird about if you ask for extra towels that was a bit odd…
- 5/5
Its nice
- 4/5
Room was clean and big.
- 3/5
The problems have nothing to do with the local operation. They seem to come from higher up. 1) They do not, ever, have facial tissue in the rooms. 2) They do not have luggage racks. 3) In the name of the motel, they have put the word "waterfront". This is not true at all, as the motel is several blocks from the waterfront, and has no water view of any kind.
- 2/5
Good water pressure, air conditioning. Bed sheets had lots of hair, dried food still on bedspread, stains on towels, freezer dirty. Newish LVP floor was filthy. Wore clean socks just for the floor which were filthy after just one night. I didn't expect much for the price but did expect cleanliness

Room was clean nothing amazing. Ac worked. No elevator and not the best atea, large homeless presence. Parking is very tight and leaves one nervous.about door ding
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful. It’s an older building so if you get unlucky with a loud neighbor you may need ear plugs. But the place was clean, and the location was within walking distance to a lot. Can’t beat the price for that alone.
- 3/5
We’ll it says waterfront, was a 15 minute walk to the waterfront area, if you are looking for a affordable place to sleep and not a destination to spend your time, this a good affordable place to spend the night, but not a destination to hang out, was clean, and a good place to spend the night without breaking the bank, It says suites, but is a 1 room with a fridge and a microwave, was an econo lodge turned into a motel six, with suites added onto the name, don’t get me wrong, was an affordable place to spend the night, close to fort vancouver that we had a funeral at, but not a waterfront destination.
- 5/5
No complaints

Clean, open late, comfy pillows.
- 2/5
The mattress was fine, but it was the “comforter” that was the worst. The bed was a sheet, a thin blanket, and then another super thin decorative sheet over the top, with no other blankets in the room. We had an ac/heat unit, but finding a good temperature between the two of us staying there was difficult, and without a blanket to keep warm in a cool room, one of us was either freezing or far too hot. It took 3 nights to finally get to an okay temperature to keep the room at night while we slept. There were also only 2 identical pillows for our queen bed between the 2 of us, so there aren’t preferred comfort options, but at least there is a pillow each. The microwave didn’t work. It would trip the surge protector after 4 seconds of it running. We had to move the entire thing next to the sink to a new outlet to even use it. The TV didn’t work either, no matter what we pressed on the remote, it just would display “no signal.” I don’t know if we just got a junk room or what, but it was the most unpleasant hotel stay I’ve ever had. The location was great, and the price was better than other places, but it was still pricey for the comfort level.

- 3/5
Still taking advantage of COVID rules and only doing the minimum.
- 2/5
Honestly it's way to much money for just a small room with nothing to do other then sleep and watch TV.
- 2/5
Staff were helpful when we couldn’t stay in the first room because of a strong mildew odor but the second room wasn’t as bad. Had to keep the window cracked and spray odor ban. Thankfully we only slept there and were gone 90% of the time. Parking is terrible as well. It was affordable for a long stay, and it’s a convenient downtown location but the moldy odor was just too much.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences during our 2-month trip in the US. The toilet was clogged, and when we reported it, they told us to fix it ourselves or risk losing our deposit. Unbelievable! We're paying guests, not maintenance staff. We had no choice—we needed the deposit back, so we dealt with it ourselves. They eventually returned it, but the whole situation was stressful and completely ruined our stay. After a long day of driving, this was the last thing we needed. Definitely a 1-star stay. Never again with Motel 6 or Studio 6—most of them have been a letdown. It's absolutely worth spending an extra $20 for a cleaner, better place.
- 5/5
The room was clean. No carpet, which is a plus. Paint and walls were good. It's a nice Motel 6 in the city center. Nice refrigerator and microwave. HBO on the TV, plus many channels. Cool sports bar ("Penalties") with excellent nachos, across the street. Cinema in very close walking distance. We were there six days. It was very quiet. The parking lot was full most nights, if that's any indication.

It was clean in room but a cigarette hole in blanket, offered shampoo and conditioner but bottles were empty, no blow dryer, no grassy area or safe place to take pets to potty anywhere, it’s all a parking lot. Bolt lock did not work on door.

Parking was horrible, bathroom was small, kept my deposit which I’m now disputing, horrible smell while checking in
- 4/5
It was nice enough for a one night stay. It is definitely dated, but was comfortable enough.
- 3/5
Website claims to have been recently remodeled, not sure what "recently " means to them, but the sheets and bedspread in our non smoking room had cigarette burn holes in them. Missing baseboard trim. Door had to be lifted to shut completely, and the wall A/C unit was louder then the jets that constantly flew over head on their way to/from pdx. Not only is the hotel in the direct flight path for the pdx Airport, it is also on the corner of the off ramp from hwy 14, so, cars racing off the freeway 24/7, planes overhead, massively loud ac unit, and room that looks nothing like the pictures posted online. For a quick 1 night visit, its fine, if you need a longer stay and actually need any decent sleep, go elsewhere.

This motel is just blocks away from Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver. Lots of activity in the area. It's nice to finally have some affordable lodging in downtown Vancouver.

Room had musty smell and was not cleaned well.

Sadly, we were moved to 3 different rooms. The first room had an unknown liquid in the bathroom, might have been water, but the source was unknown. The front desk was on top of it and assigned us a different room. Sadly, this one smelled of marijuana and was clearly not cleaned recently, there was dust on multiple surfaces as well as various sorts of debris on the floor. The third room was ok, but had an off odor and I could not connect to the internet. Apparently internet is not a concern here, as I was not the only one to have issues. Sadly, I really needed it for on-line classes. While 2 different people claimed to help and reset the service, it never worked. I'll not stay at this hotel again, despite its excellent proximity to our venue.

There was dirt or something in the showers so I didn’t use it. Bed was hard and bedding was thin. I suppose I got what I paid for, not much.

The motel has recently changed from being an Econolodge to a Studio. Under Studio 6, the rooms are not supplied with Kleenex (tissue paper). The rooms NEED tissue paper.
- 3/5
We had to request a new room as the one they initially gave us was dirty. Thankfully it was no problem. We wouldnt stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice and clean. Area didn’t have much to do or eat .

Plumbing need to be addressed. Toilet was noisy during re-fill of tank.
- 4/5
Comfy, well appointed, and economical for it's convenient downtown location, exactly what we prefer. Small for a "suite" but definitely a cut above the typical Motel 6 and perfect for us as a couple. Full size refrigerator was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Old hotel made pretty nice for the price and close to a lot of stuff. Well done studio 6!

Staff is absolutely top notch, and went way beyond our expectations trying to make us comfortable during our check-in. This place is gem, and we will be back for sure!!!👍

The room was freshly painted, but very poor work. Bathroom was not terribly clean. Lights in bathroom made the shower very dark and poorly lit.

High odor of disinfectant I paid $85 total and that was fine. I would be upset if it was more. Would not stay here with my wife.
