The staff were all friendly and professional.. Breakfast was average and clean. Pool area was bland and in disrepair. Room was average. Problems dirty grout and severe ant problem. Some of my food was ruined by ants and we were compensated.

There were no towel rods in the bathroom. Mildew on the tile grout. Still food in the fridge from previous guest. Also, an insane amount of light comes under the door from the hallway at night. Had to use towels and extra pillows to shut it out so we could sleep.

Properties, neat clean, plenty of parking The staff was not very courteous when I ask for a different mattress in a handicap room which I did not request and they were just plain and snippy. They told me I could change rooms, but the situation was that I was working a long hours from seven in the morning till 10 o’clock at night and didn’t feel like coming back packing up all my stuff and moving to a different room and I did that for three days. Also, when I went to try to print something out, the printer was not working. It was out of ink, my goodness can’t they buy an extra ink cartridge and have it underneath the desk? Overall, I was not very satisfied. Staff was rude, and the bed was soft as a marshmallow, and I did not get much sleep as far as I will never stay in another La Quinta if the staff is like that and the quality of the bedding is that bad all I did was ask him to change my mattress.

Everything was great, the only complaint I have is that there is only one elevator for such a large hotel, serving 4 floors.

Cozy, small but I would stay there again over Mariot easy! We didn’t try the pool, but breakfast was awesome waffle, fluffy eggs, Nutella! Granite countertops, soft soft and again very soft towels!

Our room was extremely loud. Right next to the elevator and also adjoining room next to us extremely loud during quiet hours. Walls must have been old and thin and sound deadening non existent. We checked out a whole day early instead of finishing our stay. No support from the staff to move us to different room or mediate situation at all. Minimal support from Expedia on the chat option. Said they kept trying to reach hotel to verify we checked out? I told Expedia I had the receipt to show only one night stay. No insight was given to me only a 50$ credit to be used later in Expedia I guess. Disappointed.

Nice place to stay and the continental breakfast was a cool perk!

The breakfast was lacking in everything the sausage and the eggs look like they came over on the mayflower. Nobody came to fill the batter for the waffles. There was about six of us waiting. Never ate. I was on the third floor and the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls going down the corridor the little area where the elevator was was beat to a pulp. I've stayed at many La Quinta and this was by far the worst I have ever stayed at. I like to stay at La Quinta because the hotels are usually in great condition. The breakfast are good and the rooms are clean. Not this one.

The hotel felt clean, and I woke up with ants in my sheets, on the nightstand and in my shoes on the floor. When I let reception know, they said they would “tell someone” and kind of laughed while smiling at me. They then asked me if I was checking out. I was left feeling like it wasn’t a new report. It was a Saturday check out and the manager had the day off. I will choose other accommodations next time. They were surprisingly hard to photograph.

My stay was here at the Laquinta in Salmon Creek was very good . The location was perfect for my travel plans. Very clean and well kept.

Really noisey on the 4th floor. Dogs barking and doors slamming, people talking loud in the hallway later into the evening. May not be the hotels fault to some degree. They need to lay down rules on pets and noise. It would make me happy if any motel or hotel explained the rules to me before checking in, especially for noise.

Would not stay here again with my dogs. Staff will look for a reason to fine you. Not dog friendly.

Aged-old stickers stuck on the door frame of the bathroom in multiple spots like a little kid stuck them there while visiting a decade or two ago and no one bothered to remove them. Small, dead bug floating in the enclosed, clear, glass orange juice dispenser at breakfast.

The pictures on the website are so out of date. Maybe they were from when it first opened because theres no resemblance now. Our room smelled like mildew the whole time. The bathroom had ants constantly. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. They must be low on cleaning staff because our rooms were never cleaned during our 4 day stay. We booked here because of the proximity to the event and the pool. The pool is small, the water looked dirty, and the walls in the pool room were chipping off. Absolutely would not stay here again.

I had accidentally double booked, as I came after a hospital stay at the nearby Legacy. Even though I chose the option that didn’t allow cancellations etc they were great and removed it without issue. They were kind and respected my accommodations. Have stayed here in the past as well, always a great choice. Excellent breakfast as well.

On the day of my checkout housekeeping was knocking on my door prior to checkout time, despite us having the "do not disturb" sign on our door. Then a few minutes after checkout they were back again. I told them we would be out in 5 minutes. Two minutes later the front desk was calling. I try to not be out the door after the checkout time but the times when I was a little late, I have never been so hounded about leaving. If they hadn't started hounding us before the checkout time I wouldn't have been so perturbed. This was my first time staying at a La Quinta hotel so I don't know if that is a standard practice or not.

It was quiet and the breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of items.

This is the second time that we have stayed here. It is a clean and well kept hotel. They do a very nice job on the breakfast by changing things up most days with a good variety to choose from.

Everything was great! Staff was great, room was nice and clean. The only thing that was a little bummer was the pool was a bit on the colder side and wasnt expecting the hot tub to be outside and didn't want to go out in it in the rain. Other then that everything was good!

Our original room was great, up until it was covered with ants. The replacement room we were placed in was outdated, the tv didn’t work properly and the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable.

The staff only clean the room when you ask for it therefore in a one week stay we had to ask for more towels and toilet paper. All was delivered when asked. One thing that was over and above was my wife dropped an earring down the sink. The maintenance people disconnected the pipework and retreved the ring. Kudos to them. Also the breakfast was good and varied every day. A very comfortable stay.

Poor selection of TV channels..

After I had got settled in the room I noticed one ant. (Not going to say something about 1 ant). After I got back from dinner there were a couple ants in the bathroom and a few more scattered about the room. Not enough to deal with asking for a different room since I knew I was leaving early the next day. I did, however, use the ironing board as a "buffer" and put EVERYTHING on it. I didn't leave toiletries in the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient. In the morning, I noticed a line of ants in the bathroom coming in where there were gaps in the caulking. Bottom line...very disappointed to have had to share my room with ants.

The gal who checked me in had an attitude with me because I had a moving truck. The older gal said it was fine since it only took up one spot. The attitude continued for the entire check-in. Went to take a shower and almost slipped when I stepped in. The handicapped seat wouldn't stay closed. The shower nozzle wouldn't stay in place so I had to do handheld. The bathroom sink was coming loose from the wall. The shampoo, conditioner,and body wash were the nicest of the trip. The breakfast was ok. None of the staff spoke to me even when I left and came back. Was definitely not worth the price.

On arrival, the clerk demanded an additional $100 to be held for seven days for a one-night stay. Not disclosed on reservation and traveler left without a room. Would nor refund cost of reservation stating it was Expedia's problem.

Lots of options for breakfast. The breakfast sandwich station was not as good as it could be. The food was either over cooked or uncooked. But I did appreciate the various options available including fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs. Overall a good stay.

I trusted that nobody would enter my room while I was gone and the do not disturb sign was on the door! Oh boy was I wrong! Not only did the cleaners enter my room they also dug thru my open suitcase. I had my clothes on the bed and my suitcase had a pair of pants covering up important papers and I came in and clothes flung all over the bed and my pants off to the side of my suitcase and my papers were a mess!!!!! I will NEVER TRUST yo stay at this motel again!!!!!

The staff was excellent. I think it could be a five star but it needs a renovation. The chairs in the breakfast area are from the the 1980’s with wood and cloth. No cushions whatsoever left in them.

Everything about the stay was great! I needed to change to a two bed room and they made that happen with no fuss! Our team was there for a gymnastics competition and they had us all on the same floor not sure how that worked out but it was great! The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice and spacious which helped when you have teen girls going from room to room to hang out. Breakfast was hot and good! ( The crispy bacon was definitely a big hit). The front staff was so nice and friendly. And the hotel was very comfortable in the lobby area! I would only suggest turning off the fireplace from time to time it made the upstairs hallway areas a little too warm. Other than that no complaints!! We would definitely come back! Thank you

First off, the staff was very nice. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. The hotel was old and run down and dirty, mildew in the bathrooms. Room smelled of mildew. Carpets stained and looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Wall paper was peeling off the walls. Maybe not so much the hotel issue because we love our fur babies but maybe have a designated area for animal rooms. Dogs barking and howling all night. Very poor quality

Very dated and in need of repairs. The wallpaper in the hall and in our room was peeling. This is a pet-friendly hotel and you could tell. Our room was on the 1st floor. As soon as we entered the hallway we could smell a strong dog odor. It makes sense that they would put people with dogs on the first floor (easy access to outside for potty breaks), but don't put people without dogs on that floor. Just a suggestion. We had a suite so the room was fairly spacious. The bathroom was tiny!! We aren't big people and we still had some trouble getting in and out of the bathroom because the door only cleared the toilet by 3" and the toilet was close to the wall. The shower head was awful. We didn't stay for breakfast. My husband did get me a cup of coffee but didn't get any food because the "buffet" was very small with minimal options. I'm giving 3 stars solely for the location and price for a room on New Year's Eve. Unlikely we will stay here again.

We stay here every time we come to Washington and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—it honestly felt like sleeping on the floor. The mattress clearly needs to be replaced. We barely slept and are now unsure if we’ll stay here again.

The staff was great and our overall experience was great. The hotel is aging and it’s showing in the fit and finish categories. For our room, in the bathroom there was some areas which could use some remodeling or refreshing. Overall it was fine and the small draw backs would not prevent me from booking at this location again.

The room was good. The bathroom had mold that they tried to cover up but you could see it. It was almost black in the tub tile. Everyone with dogs were put on the same floor so ic some took theirs out all the dogs started barking. Most important is we requested a bottom floor room and they hadnt even cleaned the firat floor. We didn't check in until little after 4:00. The oh well attitude from the check in person was rude.

The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed at check-in. The bathroom walls were damaged and in serious need of repair, there were no towel bars anywhere in the room, on Day 2 of our six night stay we discovered ants coming up through a hole in the bathroom doorframe, and we were not told at check-in that room service only occurs every third day of each stay. Despite this, our room was not cleaned until Day 5. The breakfast offerings had degraded in quality since our prior stays at this facility.

Room felt neglected, front end staff was rude everytime I had an interaction with them. They dont change sheets, pillow cases or towels until after the 3rd day which seems gross when it's tied in with a holiday. VERY loud stomping and running in the halls at all hours of the night, waking me and my daughter up. Along with lota of aggressive barkong from dogs and a super dumb "parkong policy" that you dont even hear about until you're standing at the desk and you see their little 5x5 printer paper that says 1 car per room and no big trucks. My gf met me here for the holidays and we had to leave a car out of fear of being towed on a holiday weekend. Then we get back to the hotel ans there is huge oversized trucks blocking open spaces and access. Along with the room having a lot of light coming in from the front door when all the lights were off.

Nice, quiet, and convenient

The room was nice. It was pretty clean. We usually wipe down with clorox wipes because I am immunocompromised. We did find some dirty areas but that is us and an extreme. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots around for dinner or breakfast. We would stay again.

The team at La Quinta were so friendly and helpful. My daughter left a lot of her stuff behind and the team was kind enough to call and patiently wait for me to get back to clear the room one last time.

Staff was super attentive- beds were comfy- only issues is the breakfast leaves a bit to be desired and the lobby fireplace makes the floors above it roasting hot.

Place was clean and convenient. My only complaints are; the beds were hard, no ice machine on 4th floor, and breakfast did not start until 7:00 am.

Staff went over and above for us. We had vehicle problem and had to rent a car to get home, only to return later the same day to come tow our vehicle behind our truck. This all started at 7am we didn't get home until 9pm. Very friendly and helping staff. Merry Christmas to you all

One of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hallways smell like wet dog so badly, and the carpets are a matted, disgusting mess. Rooms are dated and musky. We woke up five hours early (at 3am) and left because I couldn’t stand to sleep in the filth any longer.

The breakfast was out of stock on monday, well before the ending time. The eggs looked awful. And only had biscuits and gravy tuesday. Should be every day. Tuesday was better. Just kinda a crumby breakfast there. Went to Mc'Ds. I have used Hotel before when its was under a different name. Love the pet friendly. Love seeing pets there with their people, especially as an AKC field agent. Front desk was very helpful. Rooms very clean, and I carry a black light since I'm hoteling it 52 weeks/year

I enjoyed my stay very much. It was only for one night and I checked out early the next day for a local event that I was attending. The front desk clerks were very polite and the room was extremely comfortable. I will consider staying at La Quinta again in the future.

The hotel was overall very nice and very conveniently located to freeways with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. However, it seemed to be short staffed. After checking in we discovered some maintenance issues (three) and reported them to the front desk. The next day only one of them was fixed and no one contacted us to remedy the other two issues.

Paid for an Executive King room, bed was horrible, and I listened to a beeping noise every 15 mi utes all night until I got up and went to the desk to ask for a different room. There were no Kings available, so I ended up in a queen room, but the night attendent at the desk could not refund me for difference in price.

We had 2 queen beds and my husband’s bed had sand or something like that in the sheets. When trying to find a news station, it had all the usual ones however Fox was ‘unavailable’. It really ticks me off when a business such as the motel makes its political view so apparent by blocking a news station. I am not one to complain as a general rule. Your job is hard and I recognize that. That being said, if that is the way La Quinta operates, squelching my ability to watch my chosen news outlet due to THEIR political beliefs I can assure we will never stay at another property owned by Wyndham. I may only be one person who will no longer use your properties but I do know many people who share my values and beliefs and I can assure you I will absolutely share my experience.

Check-in was great, but the TV in the room never worked correctly. It displayed a Guide of DISH channels, none of which were actually available. Instead, there were a limited amount of Antenna-based channels that glitched in and out. Gave up on it after the first night. Bed was pretty comfy, room was fairly clean, cleaning staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was clean. Pulled out the sofa bed and it was full of dog hair. It was gross. The pool was outdated and had bugs at the bottom. No hot tub.

The place is pretty run down. I don’t know why it gets a high rating on Expedia. It’s noisy if you don’t get the top floor. The breakfast is average. But the desk clerks were wonderful and helpful.

This has become a staple for us when traveling to Vancouver. Close to many things, consistent, affordable. Short uber ride to the Amphitheater. Continental breakfast is also pretty decent

It was fine for what it was, however what I don’t like is they said your room number out loud so everyone knew which room you were staying in. I find that to be unpleasant because what if I was a solo female traveler, it wouldn’t make me feel safe.

This property is beginning to show its age, but the room was clean and the breakfast was great!

Sheets were on wrong so when I went to fix them it appeared they used a shower curtain as a top sheet. Pretty basic property. It was clean so that’s good I’ve stayed at La Quinta properties for almost twenty years as I usually travel with my dogs so I’m familiar with them. I don’t think this was worth $192/night but I was close to the cascade’s amphitheater so that was convenient

We stayed one night. It was very nice.

Molding around doors all bubbly. Tub wasen't draining. Breakfast was neat and tidy with many options. However,it appeared the first thing this a.m. a homeless woman was in there loading her pockets with foof and taking plates of food a few times out of there. Hopefully theres a way to monitor them ... Everything else was good! We requested extra things for our room of 4 and we received it!

Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, helpful and friendly.

I left something in the nightstand and the next morning, called to see if they could see if it was left. They said they have protocol to check rooms and if it was left, it would have been found. I ASKED if someone d could check under the bible by nightstand and they said room was checked as per routine.

The rooms and overall are in need of a remodel for the prive you pay. Deep cleaning the elevators, painting base trims around elevators doors go a long way. Staff was extreamly friendly but having to ring a bell makes the guest feel like they are being inconsiderate if they are truly busy.

Rooms clean but very worn out and needing updating. TV situation is not good and WiFi isn’t good. Made it difficult to do work. Whole place needs a refresh. Great acceptance of pets. Nice there is a designated potty place. Breakfast seemed great - we didn’t take advantage of that much since we have a dog that cannot be unattended and cannot go in eating area. (Makes sense) Pool looked nice and clean. Location is great. Parking can be an issue. Spaces are tight. Made for small Compact cars.

This was one of the lower level La Quinta’s we e stayed in. Everything was fine and we’d stay here again. There’s rooms were just average and no perks at this location that we get in others

The room was very cold when I arrived and the bathtub drain was clogged when showering (water wasn’t draining well), but otherwise this is a very nice place.

Nice place to stop over night. Close to the I-5 freeway. Some traffic noise but mostly quiet. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small but adequate.

We asked for a pet friendly room. The location of Room 107 was so bizarre. Literally the only room in the area. Smooshed right behind the front desk. Directly across the hall from the busy elevator and breakfast cafe. I understand the convenience to an exit for the pet, but it was very loud and high traffic all night and all morning. Every time you entered and let the room, you were face to face with someone walking down the hall or waiting for the elevator. Really didn’t like it and would specifically ask never to stay in that room again. Room was ok. Bathroom was run down. Paint chipping from wall. Caulking black at seams in shower. Musty smell in shower. Very loud shower fan. Beds were comfortable. Bedding was ok. Seemed clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not very good. Absolutely no patch of grass on the property or nearby for the dog to go potty. Had to drive to a park nearby.

The staff was great but the shower was barely warm. The bathrooms are old and everything feels run down. Needs updating.

I tried for two days to get coins for the Laundry and the staff did not make coins available. I had to go to two different places to get quarters for the laundry. We requested towels once while there in 5 days and had to call a second time to get them the following day.

The pace was great. My two observations were in the bathroom. The bathroom door hit the toilet as you open it and the shower had a lot of visible gunk that was not very nice to look at.

Some areas inside need remodeling. The salt water pool has caused rusting on metal areas and the paint to peel of the walls. Most of the hallways have the wall coverings coming off at the seams. Minor things and understandable Overall happy with our stay.

Great location. Inside the hotel it was quiet but freeway noise coming in from the room window made it difficult to sleep. My wife was concerned about the small ants found crawling on the night stand. I told the front desk so they could arrange to spray after we left. The clerk was very polite and would likely have moved us. She asked, but I told her we would be fine. She then offered me two Raid Ant Baits which I took and placed on the night stand. They were working.

Great facility. No shops within an easy walk, but were located within a 1 mile drive. Very clean! Located next to a busy freeway, but no exterior noise was heard inside our room.

The building needs a refresh

The front desk receptionist was the sweetest and incredibly helpful, especially after the long drive. Very clean and comfortable and accommodated my kids room right next to mine.
