Very clean no frills hotel. Affordable and nice great value! The breakfast isn’t that great but it’s free. The cinnamon rolls best thing they serve

The rest of breakfast was typical: "omelette" disks in a chafing dish, fake yogurt (Yoplait is NOT yogurt, it is pudding made with cornstarch). They had a pancake machine but it was very slow. The best part was the nice cinnamon rolls.

we hated the fire alarm going off & on for hours our first night but grateful for the fire department showing up in a timely manner.

Staff extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The fitness area is a little tight and there should be sanitizing wipes for people to use to wipe down equipment when done. Kind of icky that there isn’t. The wine at the bar had been open a while so should be disposed of to provide quality beverages. But again, service and staff were fantastic so that is minor. Food was good. Overall a great stay. Thank you for the bottles of water!

We somehow booked yesterday but are staying today. I asked for reservation to be moved because I had no idea the dates were wrong. Desk clerk agreed to refund if Expedia agreed, Expedia agreed & hotel manager refused to credit, so I had to pay for two nights. She was non-apologetic & totally unaccommodating & said there were no regional or other avenues to challenge her decision except IHG. I am contacting regional manager for holiday inn express. Although have stayed at many holiday in. Express properties, We are a recent rewards member. There is too much competition that really appreciates us as guests to support one that is so calloused to guests’ needs. My mistake for not double checking date, but would have never booked for tonight (@$45-+) had I known management was so bad. I told her I would just cancel IHG rewards & use a different property & she was totally ok with that & expressed as much!

Ive traveled over six thousand miles this trip. Got to say after many hotels. This was the nicest one i've stayed in. Nicely redone, made me and my girlfriend feel like royalty. Stay here you won't regret it.

The room was spacious and everything was very clean. Check-in was super quick.

The sheets are thread bare and had a horrible brown stain on it. It was clear the comforter had not been washed in months. There was hair in the bathroom and pee stains on the toliet. We were close to the elevator and didnt get much sleep.

Clean place to stay. Nice rooms, nice property. The breakfast was good. The side door lock with key doesn't work (it was unlocked at all times), there was no a/c in the hallway on the 2nd floor, one of our keys did not work with our door. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm becoming a huge fan of Holiday Inn Express - I've stayed at three different ones in the last 2 months and they have all, including this one, been clean, comfortable and quiet. I've been most impressed with staff - from checking in to the breakfast provider to checking out - they all have all been welcoming and super friendly. Hard to find these days! I've already booked another stay for business next month!

Multiple power outages, and after prepaying ahead of time they tacked on $700 in charges on our card upon checkout. Now have to wait 3-5 days for them to be refunded. Not worth the price!

Our check in and out was easy and quick. The room was very clean with well maintained and updated fixtures. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable with 4 fluffy king size pillows. While we did not use the laundry on our floor, I did notice that the machines were new and the area was very clean just like the rest of the property. We had a very relaxing quiet night. I would stay here again.

Overall really good. We arrived very late and almost all the rooms were booked. The room was clean but didn’t have any towels. Called the front desk and they apologized and said they would bring them right up. After 15 minutes I went down to find they had totally forgot about it. It was a very small inconvenience but unpleasant after a full day of traveling and just wanting a hot shower and go to bed. Breakfast was very basic but they do have really good cinnamon rolls.

The area to eat breakfast was very warm. I was sweating trying to eat. There weren’t enough low top tables. I ate by the computer because I hate high top tables. They were all open and the low top tables were full. Maybe you should make all the tables in the eating area low tops.

I'd stay at hotel again but be weary of the breakfast. Definitely not up to the Holiday Inn Express standards.

The room is clean and lobby smells good. They really blast their heater in the hallway which could be a good and bad thing for some people. If you stay here to do some work in your computer and need some internet connection, good luck with that. It will keep you get disconnected.

This particular Holiday Inn Express is our choice for our travel between Georgia and New Mexico. It's the midpoint of our journey and it's the perfect rest stop. The staff is welcoming, the accommodations are clean and comfortable and meet our needs. Thank you, Holiday Inn Express Van Buren near I-40!

Front desk staff didn't disclose vital information. They didn't charge the rooms correctly and didn't inform me of a $75 holding charge per room. These errors caused my CC company to put a hold on my account. After two phone calls and 10 days, I got all the issues resolved. I suggest booking thru a third-party. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and convient to I40.

Super nice, friendly desk staff… and other guests! Breakfast was good… coffee was very much to my liking. Easy temperature control for the room… comfortable bed (just firm enough) and quiet.

This room smelled like dirty feet which raised my concern about the rest of the room. Some hair on the tile floor made me wonder if they even vacuumed. The bed was comfortable.

Awesome stop on a trip from Nashville to Tulsa. Only negative was not much of a selection for breakfast. Probably my fault for not getting down to breakfast sooner.

We reserved a room with a roll-in shower because that is what my wife needs due to her limited mobility, we were told that one was available when I booked the room. Upon our arrival we were told that the room was not available because the individual staying there the previous night had extended their stay. That to me is unacceptable, while I can empathize with their situation it did not alter the fact that I requested and paid for a specific type of room. It is frustrating when you make a choice to stay somewhere based on what they say they have available to you and then you find out that they do not.

Stayed one night on trip across the country with my son. Hotel felt safe. Was clean and bed was comfortable. Short drive to restaurants nearby.

This Holiday Inn Express off of Exit 3, is our "go to" when traveling I-40 Atlanta to Albuquerque. The beds are PERFECT for us to get a good night sleep along the journey. The continental breakfast was perfect for starting our day. Usually, there's a warm breakfast included but on Christmas Day, the fare was different. The staff was cheerful and welcoming. (For travelers relying on WAZE... Do NOT get off at exit 7!!!)

Brand new hotel. Everything worked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast that included turkey sausage, important for people like me who don't eat pork.

For it being in a 300,000 people city it was really nice and quie there and there was a movie theater right next door
