Well, there were extremely rude, and the place was dirty

This is one of these places where, you get what you pay for. The room was clean. The property was safe however, when I checked in the staff wanted an $80 deposit, in cash. I don’t know about you, but I just don’t keep Cash around. They did let me go, since I was only staying one day and traveling alone. That was just weird.

Room was clean. The AC worked just enough. Thankfully i had a fan to help circulate the air. Lots of places to eat close by. All in all it did the job i needed the room to do....

I've stayed at this motel in the past and my stays had been okay, this time the owner made mer feel very unwelcome my husband and I stayed here for a littler privacy and alone time while our children were visiting their grandparents while we checked in and I dropped off my husband the owner is asking me questions about who was in my car and things of that nature I told him it would only be myself and my husband as it always had been while we stayed here but he seemed to be more concerned about who was in the car. Aside from that situation he noticed i booked a smoking room which i usually never do so he asked if that was intentional which i didn't realize but I said it's fine, he goes on to tell me it's an extra 30.00 for non smoking, I said it's fine just leave it as I booked it he tells me don't do it again if I want non smoking book it as that, I'm am not and was not trying to get anything I didn't pay for. I get to the room finally and the TV wasn't working, the door locks were barely hanging on and the bottom of the door wasn't sealed. Just really not a pleasant experience and I won't be back.

The staff was very accomodating. They switched us rooms as I have a limp. Thank you. There is alot of street noise and the bed needs firmer pillows. Also a hair dryer would be helpful.

I paid for non smoking had my son with me. The neighbors were smoking and not cigarettes all night.

The room was clean and about what I expected generally for the price. Very convenient but off the highway and near conveniences (like restaurants and shopping centers). Owners live on site. They were very friendly and professional.

It was a perfect for an overnight stay on a road trip. The staff were super nice and the room was very clean

The room was sleep-able. I do not know if it was because we were placed on the back side like we were street people or something, but I will never stay there again. I would have made a complaint that very night & request a new room, however I was too tired to fuss.

Building pictured was not same OYO. Three holes in bathroom door, obviously from someone punching it, poor patch job attempt. One bathroom wall with significant damage. Turned water on in sink and it immediately smelled like rotten eggs. Shower water was brown when it started and also smelled terrible. With no cancelation available we were forced to stay first night, but chose to eat the loss and did not stay second night. Would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The staff were very unprofessional I lost out on money booked a room got there and me and my 3 small children were waiting for hours so I left it was 3am we booked another room down the road

The room was… somewhat clean, had patches of paint off the walls, when you turn on the water faucet, the water was yellow and dirty, the toilet looked new. It looked like they made an effort as an upgrade, the shower had a loose fixture and felt like it was going to come off in my hand, The I’m assuming owners wanted $80 for a deposit which is a normal credit card thing, but they would only take cash and wouldn’t give me a receipt for it. They said I would get that back in the morning. It was 1030 at night and I was exhausted or I would’ve left. I had to check the beds to make sure there was nothing in them, and it just seemed overall un camped and down. No coffee maker, but a nice refrigerator I will say if I had needed it! But I am all about the coffee and there is no coffee in there. There was a small thing of shampoo and two small things of soap, but no conditioner or lotion or any other amenities to speak of. I would not recommend this place although it is pet friendly. I was able to park out front, although I wanted to make sure I could park right in front of my room because I was in a nice car and it looked like a sketchier place once I got there. Online it doesn’t look so bad.

I love how affordable this motel is, it’s very nice and staff is very kind! They always meet our accommodations

We just needed a quick stay on our trip up to Tennessee, and this hotel met our expectations. It was located right off the interstate near other businesses. The check in process was easy and the staff members were friendly. The room was a little dingey, but it served its purpose. Air conditioning worked great and the beds were comfortable enough. Considering we only stayed there for about 7 hours before hitting the road again, I didn't experience enough to have any real complaints. It's a good option for a quick, affordable stay while traveling.

I stay here at least 3x a year. Its a great location to stay when I travel from Atlanta to Daytona, another plus, its dog friendly which is great because I travel with my dog. The rooms do not smell like pets. The rooms are clean, if more than one person is staying you will need more towels. I requested a downstairs room because I like to park my car right outside my room for safety and convenience reasons. If you are looking for a place just to rest and sleep overnight its worth the money.

We decided to stay at this hotel/motel because it was advertised as a different hotel when paying the fee just to find out it was a motel 6 when we got there. Staff support was horrible. I barely understood what he what saying due to language barriers and had to point to a list in order for me to understand what he was asking me. Wanted to charge me $80 non-smoking room fee which you would think they would charge you for a smoking room. The room was a mess, beds was hard, floors were dirty and the bathroom was worst. My daughter went to take a shower and the handle fell off the the pipe. When checking out had to wait 20 mins as the same staff was sleeping and didn't here the bell/ringer. Won't be staying or consider staying again at a OYO MOTEL ever again!

We walked and turned around. It was terrible. Inside bed was almost on the floor. We did not stay. We are disputing this charge as we speak as we speak. The owner tried to have us pay more cash came running out after us begging to stay and wanting more money when we had already charged it through Expedia..

The hotel is in a good spot because it close to the interstate. You can walk to a few stores or restaurants. My tv only worked with 2 channels so I was using my phone a lot. Recheck the room before guests arrive to sweep up to make sure no issue with pest control.

There is nothing saying that on hotel.com or their website. 2nd the place smelt like marijuana from the time my family got into the room. It got worse when then my family returned there that evening from spending time with our daughter. There were people loitering outside of the room making loud noises all night and there were strong scent of marijuana coming from outside. No one slept that night. It was so bad they checked out a day early and stayed on the floor in my daughters apartment. We reached out to them and they told us to call hotels.com about a refund. I reached out to hotels.com who tried to get a hold of someone at the hotel which they would not answer. The next day I get a message saying they will not do anything about the refund or pet fee which wasn't published. This place is atrocious. Never stay here.

The room was so nasty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. I asked to be moved to another room but the property owner flat out refused and handed me a broom and dust pan. I will never stay here again! When you see this hotel, run! Run the other way as fast as you can!!

This place is terrible! My wife and I pulled up to this place and knew right away we weren't staying there. It looked like a zoo. Its pretty obvious that people are living there. It looked a block party going on people hanging out everywhere. The place did not feel safe at all.

It was a nice, basic hotel. Room was adequate but not fancy. A little rundown but not shabby or unsafe. Bed was firm and shower was hot. Other guests were very loud so that was a detractor.

The property is in disrepair. Our toilet wasnt even bolted to floor and there were roaches in the room. There appeared to be a prostitute on duty and several noisy cars in the lot. It was cheap, so I guess we got what we paid for, a poor night's sleep

Last minute booking bc we were falling asleep driving. Pulled in with very limited outside lighting, check in was quick but no talking besides the word “ Id” and a finger point. Room wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good either. It was clean as possible I guess. Smoke alarm was pulled off wall with wires hanging. Bathroom vent had wires hanging out and no cover. Plaster all over walls from holes. Bed was comfortable. Word of advice-read reviews first!

Never again 😒 its not even worth $40 a night but they charge $110 per night. Floor wasn't clean, bed cover had mold growing on the inside of it. It also has roaches and holes inside of the bathroom door. Totally disgusting hotel room and i would never sleep there again.

$15 non refundable pet fee. Roaches on the wall and in the tub and sink Addicts hanging around, got a knock on the door from a guy looking for Jay. I (female) was approached by the stranger both times that i went to my car. Air conditioner worked (two stars for comfort).

I booked a non smoking room and the moment we opened the door it reeked of smoke! We only had to stay there for about 6 hours just to get some sleep before hitting the road early this next morning. When I mentioned it to the guy at the front desk he just shrugged it off and didn’t even say I’m sorry or anything for that matter. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. Poor attitude from the front desk people.

Perfectly quaint for family on a budget and weary business travelers such as myself. A single minute drive off the main highway, and 20 minutes from the beach. Room was clean, pool was super inviting, and breakfast was solid and included. Can’t beat that. This place punches well above its price class and I will certainly be returning.

The hotel smelt of an distinct overwhelming food odor, the staff refused to allow us to stay even after 350$ was charged to our account, and I wouldn't allow my toddler to stay in a hotel of this nature. More of a room by the hour atmosphere.

We did not stay at the hotel when we arrived there was a police car outside the hotel and at least six sheriffs outside with bulletproof vests on!! Asked the police in the squad car if it was safe to stay and she recommend we leave! We did not get a refund but we felt our safety was more important. The area surrounding the hotel was very sketchy. Iwe would not recommend staying at this hotel!

Our house caught fire and we needed somewhere fast and that accepted pets but never again. There were roaches crawling everywhere. And it smelled like an animal had just used the bathroom in there. I always travel with my fur babies and I have never ran into that problem

Our house caught fire and we needed somewhere fast and that accepted pets but never again. There were roaches crawling everywhere. And it smelled like an animal had just used the bathroom in there. I always travel with my fur babies and I have never ran into that problem

It was very clean and well maintained. It has lots of shopping and dining options very nearby. Also liked that the fridge was very large for a hotel room.

I payed &143.00 for a night for the shower to barely have water coming out the shower. When I went and got someone from the office he checked it and did nothing about it. I had to take a cold shower so unhappy. I will never come back here

The door was not flush with doorframe to where it would've been easy to bust it open. Water damage on the floor, part of the wall was coming off.

This was truly a dive hotel. We only stayed here because we needed to sleep.

You get what you pay for. Comfortable bed.

The place was very beat up and smelled like straight smoke. The smoke alarm was broken and the floor wasn’t clean. The sheets were dirty, too. The lock was broken and the gentleman had to come to open the door for us because the card key wouldn’t open the door.

The front desk ask for a $100 cash deposit on check-in (which is a scam, don’t pay it or you won’t get it back) and he said he was having problems with the clientele causing damages to the rooms. Lots of late night lingers in the parking lot.

The picture of the hotel rooms made the hotel look fresh and modern. In reality the rooms are very shabby. The bathroom door had hole it, looking like someone had punched it. The floor was dirty. The white towels were gray. Remote did not work for TV. We are used to staying at low budget motels but this was no budget.

Another hotel chain will be chosen next time. I was given a smoking room and told that is what I ordered. Maybe....but I quit smoking more than 5 years ago. I don't think it was reserved!

Clean spacious room, comfortable bed with good linens. Basic, but nicely updated bathroom. AC worked fine. Great value for money.

I stayed less than 10 minutes. My room was on the second floor as I walked up the stairs over half of the people on the second floor were in lawn chairs, partying making a lot of noise and it was 11 PM at night when I got there I went in the room. There were holes in the curtains Plaster off the wall did look like the room have been cleaned, but it didn’t care for the road running across the floor and the noise outside seem to be getting louder and I realized I was not gonna get any sleep

I had booked this hotel a day in advance and after traveling all day they told me they had no rooms available upon arrival. Had to find another hotel at the last minute, then call for a refund.

There was a hole in the bathroom door and wall and it looks the toilet paper holder was replaced but the wall was not properly repaired around it. Looked dirty and dingy and felt that way as well

This was definitely a get what you pay for hotel. Could use a bit more cleaning. We had a non smoking room but in the bathroom you could smell cigarette smoke as if you were in the room with whoever was smoking. Shower curtain needed to be replaced. There was no phone or alarm clock. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly while checking in/out. Pool was nice. Location is great. You are within walking distance of shopping/eating.

This property served its stated purpose. We were traveling through and just needed a place to sleep and didn’t feel like spending a lot of money. It is obviously an older hotel that has been purchased and somewhat updated but don’t expect it to be more than it is. The room I stated in was clean and comfortable. The room my friends stayed in was not as clean as they would have preferred with items that had been left behind by previous guests in the sink & shower, but bedding seemed to be clean/etc. It was the best AC we’d had on our week long road trip and it’s convenient location just off the highway and near restaurants helped us to overlook some of those things.

The outside beds updating. The inside is newer. There were trucks that ran for 30 minutes with exhaust in front of our room at 6am. So much for sleeping

First it's a motel 6 remodel and name. Was very dirty and dusty in my room. Killed about 3 bugs crawling around. Had to sleep with the light on. TV cable was not working said it needed to be activated, so no TV.

Very nice stay clean. For the price it was worth it.

The rooms were very nice especially for being a motel 6. The workers were very friendly and helpful. I definitely will be returning next time I travel that way

Spent 3 night. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was clean the area was nice and close to everything I needed plus some.

The man running the motel is very rude and I couldn’t understand a word he said and he showed up with a can of bug spray and went into our bathroom and sprayed everything and told us we could not use our own bathroom for a hour smh it was very unprofessional and disgusting

Reservation was made for a women of my family, property looked unsafe and nobody was at the lobby front desk to check in, unfortunately she had to look for another option and forget about this reservation.

The toilet seat was completely detached....aside all was satisfactory.

Won’t be back. Looking for a reasonably priced room that was ADA accessible. Motel has clearly been updated inside and the bathroom was great. However, the room was dark, our remote didn’t work and when I complained the clerk showed me how to work the controls on the tv rather than fix/replace the remote. And the whole experience started with someone behind the desk telling me to wait outside in the 95 degree sun until she could fine the clerk who was somewhere else on the property. Why couldn’t I wait in the lobby you ask? No idea.

Staff is very friendly and helpful but, this is NOT the best area of Valdosta. There were groups of people hanging out in the parking lot drinking and carrying on until 3 or 4 in the morning. Definitely not a place I’m taking my teenage daughter again.

Phone not operational. Lack of complimentary coffee was not good.

Very clean only problem was didn’t say anything about a pet fee for each night per dog until you went into office!!

Overall stay was ok.. wanted to get in the pool but unfortunately it was dirty and looked as if it hadn't been used or cleaned in a while. Requested extra wash cloths and never received them and the tv remote wasn't available nor was the tv working.

Hotel in disrepair. The bathroom door was completely chipped paint. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall and wouldn't stay up enough to hold the shower curtain closed.

The bathroom was undesirable. It was ok for one night.

The owner was rude and the house keeper was walking in ur room unannounced
