    The hotel is under remodeling. Which it clearly needs. Floors and carpeting are dirty. The smell, noxious odor in the room made it untenable. We could not stay. Returned to the front desk, requested our monies be returned. The woman at the front desk was very nice and returned our monies. At this time the hotel is not recommended.

    Bed and pillows were more comfortable than my stay two nights previous. No soap in shower soap dispenser but not a problem to use shampoo instead. No working ice machine or water fountain in breakfast area so the desk clerk was kind enough to fill my water bottle with ice and give me a bottle of water. Very much appreciated. My stay was during the week so it was very quiet. Room had everything I needed: plenty of ports for my devices, hair dryer, and iron. Enjoyed watching the French Open on the big screen tv.

    Spacious room with everything I needed: ports for devices, fridge, hairdryer. Bed and pillows were a little lumpy but there were two queen beds so I tried the other one and it was better. My stay was a weekday so it was quiet. Breakfast is always good at Hampton Inn. Only negative was no ice on my floor.

    Property was under renovation! Marquee was totally blocked from the construction equipment and where I parked was dark! When we walked into the room we found a make up pencil brush under the edge of the bed that made me think the room wasn’t cleaned properly! AIR CONDITIONER WAS very loud!

    It was close to the theme park. That’s it. It’s under construction, the pool was closed, it was dangerous with exposed wires and. electrical fixtures, and active construction, equipment, and scaffolding that was not closed off, we had kids with us so we were worried for their safety. We kept finding nails and screws in the parking lot and on the floor in the common areas. The staff misinformed us about access to other hotel pools they owned and whether they could switch our reservation to another property. The manager is absolutely useless and talked in circles. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I had. Attached picture is of a screw that my 6 year old found on the ground. The other people in our party took more pictures of the issues.

    The breakfast was fine and always stocked, and the staff was nice. The place felt run down and dirty. The carpets were very stained and water dripped on one of our guests from the ceiling when walking from our room to the lobby. The room was humid and someone commented on the bed feeling wet but we didn't really notice the extent of it until it was affecting our sleep. One guest said it felt like we had slept in a tent during a rainy night. We all had to shower in the morning although he hadn't planned to. I don't know if this humidity had anything to do with the renovations happening against the outside of the building close to our room. We had a kid with us who wanted to swim but could not because the pool was drained and closed. Knowing the pool was closed likely would have affected our decision to stay here considering it was spring break. The renovations also made it difficult to find entry and exit points that were accessible. The price should have been considerably cheaper for the current state of this hotel and we were disappointed in the place. We have stayed in a lot of hotels in the last few years and we do not usually leave reviews but felt a little scammed with this booking.

    The bed linen smelled sour and the bathroom and entry flooring was filthy. The property was being renovated so the entrance was not easily seen or accessed from the parking lot. The breakfast area was clean but very hot. The front desk staff was nice as was staff in the breakfast area. Housekeeping was clearly not interested in cleaning the room or changing the linens. Someone “mopped” the tile as requested but it was still filthy. The pillow cases were changed but the coverlet still smelled.

    The room was very nice and spacious. The morning after I arrived, the refrigerator was not working properly. I called the front desk. They apologized and said they would get someone right out to fix it. The maintenance personnel came and gave me a completely different refrigerator which worked. I was very impressed

    I understand the property is under construction however it shouldn’t be an excuse for bathrooms not to be swept. Hair and dust was all over the bathroom floor and bath tub. We got there after midnight so we just had to deal with it bec we were only there for a few hours. Everything else in the room was clean. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

    The room was confortable. There was an additional charge of $25 that was separate from the original transition. Where I asked the lady at the front desk, she was not pleasant and said they did not charge me anything. What she should have said, that I learned later is that it was a hold placed on the card for essentials. It was later removed from my card.

    We have stayed at this property a number of times and it is consistently above average. There are some renovations going on right now, but they did not affect our stay. Rooms are larger than most (we usually get a king suite), the bathrooms are clean, the shower water pressure is excellent (trust me, this is a thing), and the beds are super comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offers more than the average property, with plenty of hot options, not just bagels and coffee. This property has earned our repeat patronage, and we will continue to book. After some hard thought, there is nothing that we do not like about this property.

I question whether this facility would meet the Fire Marshall's standards, and it seems they are taking advantage of Georgia's lack of OSHA regulations. If I hadn't checked in after midnight for a brief rest, I would have opted to cancel my reservation. Following this experience, I decided to cancel my three additional reservations at Hilton brand hotels for the rest of our trip. If you choose to stay here, please make sure your Tetanus shot is current

    I have never atayed in a Hampton Inn lime this one, Hampton Inn has always been are go to, but this was just terrible. The hotel had signs that they were doing renovations. The hotel should have been closed. The lobby was fine but once we got into the elevator it was down hill from there. My wife and I noticed how dirty the elevator was, then we exited to a hallway that had a carpet that had stains all over and garbage (rags) laying on the floor as we walked to our room. We thought, this will be fine once we get in the room. We where mistaken, the furniture was stained and faded, the light on one of the nightstand was flashing like a strobe light, the bathroom floor tile looked dirty, cracked tiles, paint peeling on the wall along with stains, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the bed would make noise if you moved and the air conditioner made so much noise, even when it would stop running it would make noise. Only because we where exhausted from such a long day did way stay. Then the icing on the cake was when we went for breakfast, the eggs didn't taste like anything and were so watery. So I then tried the biscuit and gravy. Again, the gravy had no flavor so I threw the food in the garbage. I had a hard boiled egg and left. I can not recommend this hotel and I hate that the hotel that has been our go to was so bad. This should be closed.

    We have stayed in our share of Hampton Inn's in the past and have always received great service and the properties were always well maintained. This particular property was a complete DUMP! I took photographs to document the filth on the hallway carpet, the paint and drywall falling off the walls, the wallpaper curling up in the bathroom, not to mention how disgusting the tub was in our room. There was no way we were going to shower in that room. We checked out at 6:15am and went to another property. Trust me you don't want to take your family to this property and let your children play on the floors of this property. I don't know who is leaving Stellar reviews of this property, but they haven't stayed in a room on the 2nd floor it's filthy! The two ladies at the front desk barely acknowledged our presence. There is a Military base very close by and Military Personnel should not be staying in this filthy property! They deserve better!

    The breakfast offerings were very bland. The eggs were almost completely dry and lacked any taste. The sausage was over cooked and pretty chewy. I was disappointed in the lack of attention to the freshness and taste of those breakfast offerings.

    They’re renovating so the carpet in the hallways was very dirty. I was very disappointed with several channels out on the television. Several sports channels were knocked out. We had to go outside the hotel to watch some college football games so therefore we spent several hours away from the hotel. We were told technician was going to repair it on Sunday Oct 26th. We checked out on that day. We stayed at the one in Valdosta Georgia. I really feel as though we should have been compensated

    This was a terrible experience. After driving over 12 hours we arrived to a room that was filthy and dirty. There were live bugs crawling around on the sheets (I took photos) trash on the floor and hair all over the bathroom shower and floors. The hallways and carpets of this hotel are in desperate need of renovations. Stained floors/walls, peeling wallpaper. It was a gross experience. We left immediately and had to drive another hour and a half to fine better accommodations. Would give thiz zero stars if I could.

There were also spots on our shower curtain that appeared to be blood or dirt.In one of the other rooms I killed several roaches and the tub had a big dirty spot in it, and when we went to wam our food there was food in there from previous guests.

    The condition of the hotel is far below Hampton Inn standards. A sign in the lobby said renovations would begin in the spring of 2025 but we did not see any areas that had been renovated. Hallway carpet was stained and worn, wallpaper was ripped and pealing, room was large but the sink was cracked in many places, the porcelain floor of the tub was wearing away and the air conditioning filter was extremely dirty. The beds were firm and although there were 4 pillows for each bed, I was unable to get comfortable. Overall, this hotel was a disappointment and if the name wasn't on the building, I would think I was staying at a low class hotel..

    This hotel needs major upkeep. The carpets in the hallway were stained and disgusting, they have probably never been cleaned. The wallpaper everwhere was coming off or ripped. We would not even sit on the couch in the room because it was so stained and nasty. You could hear people next to you in the rooms, and someone stomped on the floors above us all night. This hotel is not worth the $160 we paid. We will never stay here again.

    The hotel is obviously in the middle of repairs/needs a lot of repair work done. However the actually room was very nice and clean. My only issue was the air conditioner in our room didn’t seem to work well. We were traveling as a family of 5, and we are kind of hot natured. There was only one air conditioner vent in the corner of the room. We were not sure if it was because there was only one vent, but we stayed for two days with the air turned down as low as it could and the room never felt comfortable. We even were gone for almost the entire day and it still was about 78 degrees inside. Again, we ignored it because we thought we’d were just hot and tired from the theme park. We went to sleep and all woke up around 2:30 am not able to take it anymore because we could not sleep. They offered to switch our room, which was nice. But again, a family of 5 getting up and packing at 3am to switch rooms seemed a little unnecessary so we just went home.

    The property was undergoing renovations and smelled moldy. The A/C unit in the first room assigned was not working, but the onsite handyman, Terry was PHENOMENAL and got the unit started. However, we left to attend a family function and upon return, the room was stifling and the a/c was not working. It was after 10 PM and when I brought it to the desk clerk's attention, she immediately changed us to another room.

    They had a great breakfast with lots to choose from and 2 or 3 hot meals. Half of this hotel is now being rentovated and updated. This hotel had so many staying it was hard to get parking. This hotel is also very close to Wild Adventures this was the reason for my stay. They have a pool but I didnt have time to try it out. There is one thing they need to work on. The potato slices were cold instead of hot and tasted like they were thawed from the freezer. Apparentlly the hot plate wasn't working. The sausages were cooked to perfection. They serve the same breakfast as the Hampton Inn in Lake Park and also have oatmeal but please add sugar to it. This Hamton Inn is right next to the Wal-Mart and there is a Fairfield Inn in front of it. I recommend staying here if you're going to Wild Adventures Themepark. Its very close to Old Claverville RD once you get on I 75 South.

    This was the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The room smelled like dog, paint peeling in shower and huge sheet of wall paper peeling off the wall in the hallway. Breakfast was very poor with orange juice barely having any orange taste mostly water. I am a Silver member of Hilton Honors and stay often for business I don’t know about other floors but 3 needs to be closed

    The property will be undergoing renovation shortly. Most wall paper in the hallways was peeling off due to moisture. Had a rough night with the room above mine. Sounded like they rode elephants from side of the room to the other all night. Stomping the floor, jumping around moving furniture until 3 a.m. started up again at 7 a.m. several complaint calls and visits but they wouldnt stop.

    I liked the location. The lobby has been renovated. However, the rooms, particularly the bathrooms are of low quality. Broken tile floors, toilets that are small, actually move, and loud whistle after flushing. HVAC systems in the rooms have terrible controls. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken. The breakfast only has pork sausage, which very few people want. The eggs had liquid at the bottom of the pan, didn't look good. Others offer some other protein source.

    First impressions mean a lot! The receptionist was nice but it was very hot in the lobby area. She said well it is South Ga. I lived there so I know it is hot but that is why you have good air conditioning to make your guests comfortable. The 1st floor carpet was awful. Had stains bigger than my suitcase. The bathroom sink had a drain piece sticking up covered in hair with no cap on it. Room air conditioner came in every few minutes sounding like a fog horn. We stayed here several times but this hotel has been neglected and needs a lot of upgrades. Will not be staying there again.

    The bed was broken in room 217 and made terrible noises every time we moved. The toilet seat was very loose and I almost fell off the toilet. Saying this location needs to be upgraded is an understatement! Woodwork paint in the hallways is filthy. The bathroom caulk is moldy. We love Hamptons but won’t stay at this one again!

    The double queen suite was such a treat 😍. Spacious and has everything that you may need for both a trip for business or pleasure. Housekeeping services were provided every other day instead of every 2 days and if anything is needed they're sure to accommodate. Front desk greets you as you arrive and offers anything that you may need while you stay.     After many trips to Florida. This used to be our go to hotel to stay in. However over the last few years we have found properties we prefer better in the area.( better value, newer property). This year, a last minute decision to go to Florida, our normal property was booked. We decided to give this one a return visit. First off let me say the night staff was very friendly and welcoming, The hotel common area were clean and well taken care of. The room was clean overall but in severe need of repairs and maintenance. The popcorn ceiling had a large water stain and was peeling off and the walls had several dents and marks, the desk and furniture were starting to show more than “ normal “ wear and tear. The bathroom fan did not work and thus the steam from the shower was causing all the wallpaper to peel in multiple locations. Instead of repairing they used staples to attempt to fix the issue. The breakfast was average, the gym equipment was in need of repair. At checkout I voiced my complaint to the front desk and was told “ next time you come everything will be remodeled “. After paying the most I have ever paid for this hotel I was disappointed. This hotel has dropped several spots on my list and I may just keep driving if this is my only option.

    Property is in need of serious TLC, maybe even a corporate inspection. This is not what we expect from a Hampton Inn. Lobby was nice enough, but once we got to our floor (2nd), it was terrible. Wall paper was falling off the wals: carpets were stained and filty. Bathroom in the room looked liked it had been quick mopped with dirty water. The refrigerator was warmer inside that the room was.     We normally love staying at Hampton Inns but this property is in horrible condition. First, I just want to say how fantastic the staff is in this location. They are doing the best they can in a very challenged environment. The carpets in the halls are worn and dirty The paint was peeling in the bathroom. We were very disappointed. The one bright spot was the restaurant within walking distance - Cheddars Scratch Kitchen was fantastic.

    This was an older model Hampton inn, not renovated. But the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and it had a good size TV. Breakfast was decent, was hoping for something a little more original than scrambled eggs and sausage link, and there was no fresh fruit like and other of your hotels. The hallway were freezing cold, and made a very uncomfortable But the rooms heater worked okay, even though the front face plate of the thermostat was missing and I had to call for the maintenance man to come up to show me how to make it work.

    This is the worst Hampton we’ve ever stayed at and we are diamond members that stay several times per month. The carpets were stained and filthy. The couch in our room had large stains on it. There was trash left on the floor from previous guest. There was no shampoo or soap in the dispensers in the shower. They charged $75 for a pet fee but then actually charged more by adding taxes and fees to that and our dog was perfect and didn’t leave behind any mess. There were no extra sheets or blankets in the room for the pull out couch. The room insurance was advertised to cost $2.25 but was charged at $9. Hidden fees and very expensive especially for the terrible condition. Do not book this place. The only positive to our stay was the breakfast was as expected from a Hampton.

    We was on the 4th floor and on the outside of the room was a little trashy sheet rock dust was everywhere. Carpet was torn in spots and had a smell. Room did not have bar soap (had to ask), TV was at least 20 years old w/limited capabilities. Stayed in disability room but heat/cooling thermostat was way above my head on the wall to adjust.     First of all, the front desk staff was great! Unfortunately, that's where the greatness ended. The property is going through renovations and quite honestly, some of the rooms should not be rented until they are completed in those sections. Our room was dirty, paint falling off the ceiling, bathroom wallpaper was peeling, shower curtain wasn't clean, the list goes on. There was an event happening in town, and no rooms available, otherwise we would have moved hotels. Also, we booked a double queen suite and they didn't have any availabile, so we were given a king suite with sofa bed. They told us it was Expedia's fault for renting us a room they didn't have available. We will not be stay there again or any other Hampton Inn and Suites.

    There were signs pardon our dust we are updating which was fine, but definitely needs new carpet in that upgrade. Shower didn’t drain, iron had broken button on it, hairdryer had broken button on it. Definitely needs to be check list when cleaning rooms to make sure stuff that’s broken is caught even though not high priority and maybe not used a lot still something that’s offered that needs to work properly for those who do use it. Remote for tv was missing back that covered the batteries.
