Very nice and clean. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items. We stay here every time we travel to Florida and it is consistently a pleasant stay.

My room had two beds with grease and blood in them. Then the room kept Having a popping noise. They were short staffed for breakfast. Dog walking area is one strip of gas right next to major street. It was horrible

Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly, hardworking, and attentive. However, it was apparent that the property may be operating with limited staffing. While service remained smooth and our experience was positive, it often seemed that employees were juggling the responsibilities of multiple roles at once. This did not negatively impact our stay, and I would gladly stay here again. My only concern is for the staff themselves, who clearly work very hard to provide excellent service. I hope the property is able to provide them with the support they need, as their dedication and professionalism were a standout part of our experience.

Very good lower price option in Valdosta Georgia near restaurants and the Interstate 75. Next to a vacant lot and abandoned gas station so view outside the window not perfect. Otherwise, great stay.

There was a nice selection of items for the breakfast and the food was pretty good. Coffee is terrible. I ended up going to Panera every morning for coffee. Parking felt safe. The hotel is in a good location as far as right off the highway and near restaurants. The staff was excellent. There was no cleaning services the whole 3 days we were there. Not sure why. I wasn't too happy with the hotel's tv service. The tv in the fitness room did not work as far as being able to watch something. I turned it on and it wouldn't go to any channels and eventually got a black screen. They should also change the clock in the fitness room. It doesn't work. Also, the rooms were nicely remodeled but they should put in larger tv's. They have all this empty space on the wall with a tiny tv. Other than that, I would recommend it.

It was such a great place to come back to after a day at wild adventures. It was quiet and close to everythjng! We never had time to swim in the pool but it was always inviting! The breakfast was so good too. We liked everything!

The building could use a little update/refresh to compete with newer products (Home2Suites, etc) on the same block, but not bad for the price. Plentiful parking and next door both a gas station/convenience store and a 24 hour waffle house, with EASY freeway access. The STREET NOISE was pretty bad starting around 5AM with trucks obnoxiously using their jake-brakes, motorcycles intentionally loud and the occasional rice rocket blaring bass. Updating the sound proofing and WINDOWS on the next remodel would be a good investment. The room was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed, including a fully stocked KITCHENETTE, nice size fridge, low-end cofee/coffee station and a microwave. Updated, european style furniture, tastefully laid out and convenient. The separated living area from the bedroom was attractive for larger groups and families I'm sure and it created sound separation from any potential hall noise. AC and HEAT worked well, they had a full size residential style forced air unit IN the room (in a closet) that I imagine does a good job keeping up with environmental needs. TV was fine (although local channels currently inaccessible due to a stated dispute between DISH and the local network). Breakfast was ok

The front desk staff is fantastic….welcoming, helpful and some of the best encountered in this franchise. When I discussed cleanliness issues upon check out, manager on duty was very empathetic and responsive. Room was not clean! Chair dirty and has to put towels on arms and back before we could sit on it! Windows disgusting. A curtain was missing. Bathroom not clean….”stuff” on wall next to sink.

Upon arriving you’re asking the option of chocolate chip or oatmeal cookie, thought that was a nice touch. The pool is spacious although has no light as the sun is coming down . There’s a gym, snack bar and a washer and dryer on the second which ended up being needed after going in the pool due to my AirPods falling in. My room had a slight makeup on the pillow and I called downstairs the manager came herself and offered a new room that she overlooked before doing the exchange. I thought they are very involved into the assurance of the well being of their guest. You can tell when someone enjoy their job as they take care of their responsibilities well. Breakfast was warm. The electricity did do a quick cut out about 3 times which the guest whom were electrician ask if this happened normally which the front desk indicated yes but the cut only lasted each about 2 sec and would come back. That doesn’t change my idea that this establishment is well ran

My shower did not work. I could not take a shower. I called the front desk and talked with staff in person. No one came up with a solution to address me not being able to take a shower. Very upsetting. I left on my 3 drive without taking a shower. Thank goodness I was able to take a shower when I reached my destination.

Absolutely love the layout of the room. Finally, a hotel design that puts the sink inside the bathroom! Most hotels place the sink separately from the toilet and shower area that is behind a closed door. This has always caused a disturbance in sleep for the other guests in the room.

Clean and comfortable room. We had a suite and there was a separate bedroom with a door. Breakfast was included and was pretty good - eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, bagels, and some other to go items. It was a pleasant stay.

The biggest surprise was how nice the breakfast buffet was, and how many offerings they had. I would certainly consider staying there again. The beds do not go all the way to the ground so that our cat could hide under them. That became a bit of a pain when it was time to leave.

Shoutout to the front desk ladies (specifically in the afternoon when I checked in) their energy and attitude was a nice welcome to start my stay! And was appreciated when I called down with about 7 different questions. A good front desk staff can change your experience and it did for the better. Also there is plentyyy of room behind the hotel for the dogs.

The room was very good however there was a dangerous situation in the “showe”. . The floor of the shower was extremely slippery and there was only one hand grab over the faucet . That made for a very dangerous situation , the management was aware of the situation, according to the manager , they had at least one other incident earlier in the week . This is gross negligence and the fall spoiled the beginning of my vacation . Other than apologize for the negligence. The manager offered no other remedy .

Loved the heated indoor pool option! Beds were quite uncomfortable but the staff and cleanliness were perfect.

Check in and check out was seamless. Room was clean. The indoor pool was clean and towels were provided in that area so we didn’t have to use the room towels. There were accessible vending and ice machines visible so you didn’t have to hunt for them. Breakfast options were standard.

All good except there were no drinks at breakfast. Drink machine down and not even any water out. Have spent thousands of nights in all brand hotels and was kinda surprised in this. Send someone to the grocery store to buy drinks and out in ice if needed…

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, beds were not comfortable and sheets were dirty. Shower barely worked and the toilet seat has white tape on it from it being broken. The noise from the road and other guests making noise until 2am kept us up all night and the ac was so loud I couldn’t turn it on to use it. I also couldn’t walk my dog with the amount of other dogs poop all over the place outside I had to walk my dog across the street to use the bathroom. I would never recommend this place to anyone probably not even someone that was homeless, I should have slept in my car.

Would have been a great stay but the building lost power and we had to check out early due to that reason. The hallway outside our room smelled like marijuana just about every time we left the room. The person at the front desk dealt with it once but after a couple hours the smell was back.

The rooms seemed clean but the hotel itself was not. The elevators, kick plates on the doors, etc needed a good scrub down. Breakfasts was ok. Room key wouldn’t work so we left half an hour later than we wanted.

Room was fine, except for the very noisy fan. A big negative is the messy trashy vagrant’s encampment which is very visible from our 3rd floor window. Trash everywhere, a tent-like space under a blue tarp very close to hotel, shopping carts scattered around ( even one in hotel parking lot). It’s on the other side of the fence which encircles a pond adjacent to hotel. So not hotel property. But c’mon Country Inn & Suites & city of Valdosta! Can’t it be cleaned up? Can the people living there be sent to shelters? Ugh. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe walking my dog in the space around the hotel. We won’t stay at this hotel again.

A nice place to stay when in the Valdosta area. The room rates were reasonable, the amenities were good, the room was clean, and the staff service was good. I liked their comfy beds, spacious room, and clean bathroom. I also liked their fitness room which was helpful for my needs. There's an indoor pool as well which I wish I had time to use.

There was a spider in the bathtub and a crispy, dirty, used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain. The elevator floor was disgusting. BUT, the room was generally clean and the bed was comfortable.

Either the walls are thin or these people were all extra loud. Ask the hotel clerk if there was anything to do she said no, sorry! Around 1:00 I couldn’t take it so turned on the air do drown out the noise and the air conditioner squeaked so loud it was too much. Luckily it was a cooler night and didn’t need air.

Unfortunately I found the beds very uncomfortable and the pillows were very small and uncomfortable as well. They definitely did not have a pillow in the hotel to spare. However, most disappointing was that we were 3 people staying in a room with only 2 bath towels to use. Lots of fave cloths but only 2 large towels for 3 people. When asked for another at the front desk she just kept saying “we’re full”. Disappointing all around!

Queen hotel, friendly staff, breakfast had eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, Belgian waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee, and other miscellaneous, baked goods, and fruit. Great stuff for the price.

Came in from Florida for my first Iron Bowl so naturally most things are sold out as well as prices hiked which is to be expected. But I paid over $500 a night to stay in a construction zone. They gave NO warning that we would be on the first floor literally right next to the construction as they remodeled. I woke up to drills and banging so loud every morning and that was not even the worst part! We got stuck with COLD showers which was miserable. Upon checking out we had to walk through tarps that were hung up while they completely demolished all of the rooms and walls around us. There should have at least been some sort of warning.

We were traveling long distance, so we just needed a clean, safe place to stay with our dog. This property delivered just that. It's right off the highway, so easy access. It wasn't noisy necessarily, but we could hear a little bit of the road traffic. It wasn't an issue with our normal noise machine, so no overall complaints. Didn't stay for breakfast.

They didn’t inform me it was a $150 policy if you stayed in Valdosta! They didn’t want to work with me and I DID NOT KNOW that policy at all . This was my first time coming and I told them I moved to Jacksonville fl! The manager did not wanna accommodate.

Staff and hotel were great, but the hotel is super noisy. There is a Waffle House right behind the hotel and I was kept awake all night by someone pulling into the parking lot with a loud bass. It was so loud it shook the bed. They came and went every 15-20 minutes until about 4am. It you are looking for a quite hotel to get sleep after a full day of driving, maybe not the best place.

Everything was really nice except you should have thought of thicker windows. The street noise was really bad, evening and early morning. But all in all the room was nice and comfortable.

Overall, room was fine and clean, and the front desk attendant was sweet and personable. However, parking was really limited and dimly lit, and there was this resident walking around the property smoking weed, drinking alcohol directly from the bottle, and swearing openly! Didn't appreciate having my young kid exposed to this type of behavior.

Very clean facilty and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Room was nice and clean. This hotel sits on a busy road and near the interstate - so it is noisy from a road traffic standpoint. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly upon check in and inquired whether we needed anything every time we passed by the desk. My only (minor) complaint was that we were at the north end of the building which is right along the highway and you could hear vehicles going by all night. If you're able to request a room on the south end when checking in, it is likely less noisy. Lastly, I was traveling with 2 dogs, so was wonderful that the property is pet friendly. However, there are really no grassy areas to take your pets to potty other than behind the neighboring gas station, which was sketchy after dark. We only stayed one night while passing through so wasn't a terrible inconvenience, just something to note. The beds were very comfortable!

My only complaint was (and this is true of most hotels) the elevator floor was very dirty. I know they get hard use…but a clean elevator speaks volumes about any business!

The breakfast wasn't what we were expecting. The juice tasted watered down & the scrambled eggs had a strange taste as well. There was a foul odor when you ran the water in our room. We let the desk clerk know when we checked out the next morning.

Decent hotel but key cards didn’t work and kept having to go to front desk for replacement. Also in the bathroom the toilet tissue dispenser was literally several feet from toilet and unreachable. Placement poorly thought out.

The floor was dirty. The mattress both beds in terrible conditions I wake up with a really bad back pain. And the floor of first floor between the pool and elevator super wet and in the elevator too. Was terrible stay.

Nice for the price

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as good as the last time. We will probably make this our preferred spot the next time we go through the area.

They had a very complete and extensive breakfast. Also, many restaurants surround the property with a full service Starbucks right across the street where you can walk. Staff were extremely nice and helpful and finally, the heating/cooling unit in the room operated nearly silently and was controlled by an easily operated wall thermostat. Our room was extraordinarily clean, comfortable and updated.

Stains on most of the towels, the tub was not cleaned properly, stains on the curtains, bed was as hard as a rock.

Very enjoyable and quiet. No issues aside from the unwelcome guest.

Our experience here was horrible!! The hotel was not clean enough to our liking. My son was sick and he threw up on the elevator, so I went to find someone to assist me with some towels or something so i could clean it myself because it’s my child and i wouldn’t leave for them to do. I found a housekeeper and I asked her could I get something to clean up the vomit with, and she told me she didn’t HAVE ANYTHING!!!! 😳😳😳 so then I went to the front desk and told the manager on duty and asked him for something and he came out with a few small McDonald paper napkins and a plastic bag!!! 😒 so I said do yall have any towels and he grab a few pool towels and i cleaned it up. As I got it all up and placed the towels in the plastic bag, I asked him did he have a mop and any cleaning supplies, he told me no it’s ok that’s good enough for now!!!!! 😒😒😒 I was disgusted 🤢.so you telling me this as if other people don’t have to use this same elevator!!! I truly don’t recommend anyone stay at this particular hotel ever. It’s not even worth the money !! I wish it was more people who actually care about thier jobs and not just clock in to get a check. This was the worst hotel we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in and now I see why they got a two ⭐️ rating. It should be a 1.

I've stayed here multiple times the last few months for work and the rooms are usually pretty clean but this last time the room I got had dirty floors that hadn't been swept/vacuumed or mopped. Food crumbs and dead bugs on the floor along with hair. Multiple stains on the tile that look like they just need to be mopped up. A couple of the towels had dirty stains on them as if they were dropped on the floor or ran over with a cart. Other than that the rest of the room was decent. Was a little disappointed since my last few stays were just fine. Not sure what was going on with housekeeping hopefully just had a bad day.

We had the best stay at Country Inn & Suites! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so so good. The staff were beyond friendly! Dominque was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and gave great insight to fun places in the area. We will 10000% stay here again.

We happened to find this property by chance while on a long road trip back to Florida. It caught my attention because of the indoor pool! My little one was looking forward to water play but we were running late into the evening and the weather was not great. This facility has a HEATED indoor pool that was open till 10pm! Our room was spacious, clean, linens were nice and airy, comfy mattresses and great quality pillows, as were the towels. The staff was beyond helpful. The next morning, we were so exhausted we missed the open breakfast time, but low and behold.. their housekeeping staff waited for us to make our waffles, serve our breakfast plates and even brought out extra plates for us. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel warm and welcomed. I would 10000% recommend this hotel. Our stay was amazing!

My son picked up a wrap cup from the stack and a watery, creamy substance went all over his shirt and hands. My daughter fell in the shower(adult). Housekeeping was banging on doors at 9 am. I took the cup down and showed the worker at the desk and he just said he was sorry. I will never stay at any choice hotels again.

The staff was very friendly and kind, but the hotel pictures are a bit deceiving. The hotel is very outdated, and in need of refurbishment. When I did my bed bug check, I could tell no one had cleaned under the bed in months. The cleanliness of the hotel is not very good. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.

I was placed in a pet room and I’m allergic to dogs. I notified the front desk and she gave me a card to email the general manager to let her know how my eyes swelled up from all the dog hair that was in the room. I haven’t been compensated for this, although the general manager offered points but hasn’t seen them post to my account. I’m not happy at all and would like to just get my money back for the stay. I was waiting and giving them time to make it right but nothing hasn’t been done.

Don’t stay here if you need a good night’s rest. Pillows and bed were horrible. Add to that constant cycling on and off of AC and sleep just isn’t happening. Other than that, it is dated but clean. Young man at the desk was trying very hard so no reflection on service.
