Quiet. Super friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Aahhh Dead water bug in one of the bathtubs. White substance on the arm of one of the chairs. Other than that…we had a great stay.

Couldn't really tell because of the Motel 6 incident I ended up driving all night and didnt make it to my next destination.

EVERYTHING WAS SO CLEAN AND THE BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE. STAFF WAS SO NICE It did not have a hot breakfast as most places do.

Staff were great. Clean for the most part besides walking into the lobby and seeing carpet freshener on the floor and then seeing it the next day still there. Rooms were nice and clean but wished the air would’ve been on prior to arrival because it was hot and had a stale smell because of no air flow. But after we sprayed some of my wife’s perfume and turn the air on it was all good once we returned from dinner. I wished they had a breakfast spot but they didn’t which is no complaint from me because I totally over looked that when I booked it. The outside pool area was nice with grills you could use. I would recommend staying there if you’re ok with missing A few things like breakfast or maybe even like a bar. With the name having “Suites” in it you would think there was more to offer.

Furnishings are a tad old and have lost their support. But, just fine for the one night we stayed.

It was okay. Had a cockroach on the bed. That ruined my stay. $150/night was overpriced, in my opinion. No breakfast. My room was fine. Quiet. Safe. Proximity to everything was good.

I had to cancel due to husb in hospital..i called several times and never got a person who could help..tried several times on the 16th and also emailed on Feb28th and never got a response

The handicap bathroom (shower) was aweful . The shower chair is attached to the outside of the tub. You can’t put the shower curtain inside the tub so tons of water goes all over the floor. This is a big deal for an amputee trying to get out of the shower with a wet floor and one leg. Also this situation doesn’t work when your spouse is not handicap. You can’t even move the chair out of the way and use the shower chair. . Other than that it was a good stay.

We stayed 4 nights at different locations on this trip and tried to keep the price to moderate. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and bed was comfy. It was quiet and everything was close by. I would stay here again. We had no complaints.

We were traveling with another couple. I booked the 2 rooms two weeks previously, they had put us on seperate floors. The medal door frame in the restroom was very rusted. Turned me off. Otherwise quiet, and clean.

I've stayed here before & will stay here again. It's nice when you're on the road to be able to stop for a night (or a few nights) & cook a meal, which is why I chose this Candlewood. The kitchenette has everything I need, I just stop at the grocery store a few minutes away, grab a steak, and then enjoy a relaxing night away from the chain restaurants & fast food. But if that's your thing, there's plenty of restaurants within minutes. It's just off the highway & has convenient parking, and Sarah at the front desk & the rest of the staff is wonderful. Great place.

I didn’t realize it was an extended stay hotel, which can sometimes be less than clean. The staff was nice, and the lobby was clean. My room smelled like Snoop Dogg spent a couple of weeks in there. I had to go buy air freshener and still had a headache when I woke up. Random people hanging around different parts of the lobby having loud phone conversations. Just an unpleasant one-night stay.

This hotel was so great that we stayed on our way up to Atlanta and chose to stay on the way back! Super friendly staff, Uber clean, and huge rooms! They even have a stove in the room! Full kitchen with silverware! It’s an Airbnb at a hotel price!

I didn’t know what to expect as I had never been to Valdosta or a Candlewood Suites before, and I’m impressed! Super clean, welcoming, modern hotel. The room was huge with a full kitchen and excellent set up if you come to work from the room. Right near the mall so lots of shopping and dining options. So pleased with my stay here!

Until now everything has been excellent, the staff and the facilities are excellent. My dog is happy and has a good amount of space and the outside grass areas are perfect. I recommend this Candlewood Suites at Valdosta Mall 100%

This hotel is pet friendly so there is a chance that fleas or ticks may be in the rooms. My family was bitten several times and maintenance was unavailable to spray or assist with maintenance concerns in the room.

Didn't sleep well cause all i kept hearing was the people above our room walking and running around. Our pillows went flat flatter than a pancake! The building must be uneven cause all the doors kept opening and opening hard... we wont stay again! I want my money back!! For the price i paid was not worth it..

We chose this property for a weekend stay and after reading the other reviews, felt we’d made a good choice. The hotel was in a good area, mostly clean and friendly service at the front desk. The showers suck and we kept having to take cold showers because their water heater kept messing up. The maid service never tidied the room while we were out but kept taking the dirty towels and not leaving clean ones, so we kept having to ask front desk for more towels and toilet paper. AC had a musty odor, people above us stomped and jumped on the floor all night long!! Beds were comfortable and being able to wash and dry our own laundry was a plus. Hotel was clean besides the stray cats and cat food strung all over the pool area by the back entrance to the hotel. If we would’ve stayed another night we probably would’ve found another place to stay.

The lobby area wasn’t very inviting with huge signs saying that if you die as a result of Covid-19 it not their responsibility. Unfortunately I used one of my reward nights and they gave me a 1st floor room for handicap. You can’t open curtains because you are looking right into someone’s car. He said there were no other rooms available. The room itself was fine.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Awesome customer service clean hotel spacious rooms. Pets are allowed laundry room, gym, and pool barbecues available. All rooms have kitchen it’s just awesome.

Myself my son and his girlfriend were evacuating from hurricane Ian. The staff were very nice, accommodating and helpful. There was a lot of shopping and dining options in the area and my son and his girlfriend even went to the zoo. All in all not a bad way to escape a hurricane! Thank you!

I love the location of this property, very convenient and central. I love the full kitchenette which makes it easy to travel with kids, the beds are really comfortable however the scent of the room was a bit musty, upon entering it was not fresh, had to turn on the ac for it to circulate the air, the carpet although looked like it was vacuum felt dirty like it needed a deep clean. Bathroom was decent. overall great property just needed a little freshen up.
