Best Western Plus Valdosta Hotel & Suites

A bit overpriced. After a long day of travel had to wait a long time to check in while only front desk person was on the phone. Most suites we’ve stayed at in the past had a couple of plates bowls and silverware. Lots of nice cabinets in kitchen area but all empty. No dressers in room to unpack a few things. Beds have plastic under sheets that are very noisy. Refrigerator door opened the wrong way making it difficult to access. We stay at a lot of hotels. Main plus The housekeeping staff was very nice.

We really love the convenient location and the spacious rooms. The separation of the bedrooms from the living space is really nice. It is appreciated when traveling with an adult child and pets.

The hotel was great except for the bedding. Mattress was comfortable but the blankets were more like sheets. A comforter would have been greatly appreciated

They have a full breakfast that is wonderful.The staff members were very nice and helpful. Our room had a kitchen with eating area plus living area with couch. The room was spotless and comfortable. We will return again.

Clean, convenient. 2star hotel, but our dog was allowed. The room was not what I expected , very minimal. No desk, cupboards with no plates, glasses …anything. Not enough towels.

The price was too high for the area. I should have checked more properties before booking.

The location was perfect for our one night stop. The facility was well lit and well taken care of. The pool area was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pet friendly room was clean and comfortable. I wish I would have asked for a different room because the people staying right next to us were talking loudly until 2 am. The walls are not very sound proof.

The room was huge and very clean . We had a ‘pet room ‘ on first floor and hallelujah, wooden floors instead of carpet !!! I never understood when pet friendly hotels have carpet . Staff at front desk was very friendly too . We would definitely stay here again . Would like to give a 9.5 but that’s not possible on this site :) The only ( super small detail ) thing I would change is that the bedroom only had black out curtains , so when you open them on first floor , people can look into room from Parking . So we kept ours closed till we left . Again not a huge deal .

Housekeeping and front desk were so nice. Michael on night shift at front desk was so warm and friendly. The rooms were oversold so they made special accommodations for us by giving us two smaller rooms rather than the one larger room. Would definitely stay again!

Front desk staff were AMAZING! So accommodating, printed out pizza places for us to try, friendly conversation and top notch customer oriented! Wow! Room was clean, quiet and comfy, pool was clean, hot tub clear and beautiful area! Will stay again in a week!

The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly. The location was great and right next to I-75. Our family is located near Moody AFB, and it was nice to not have to drive through the downtown traffic everyday to get to where the majority of where the hotels are located. I will be staying here going forward whenever we are visiting the area.

Our large, clean room had a long counter with a sink, microwave and fridge. It was nice having a table and two chairs to eat our takeout dinner. There was a large sitting area, a king bed with lights and end tables on both sides, and the bathroom had a walking shower (no tub). Everything was in great shape. Our room was quiet.

This hotel is always clean and the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. I stay here 3to4 times a year driving back and forth between Florida and Georgia. I travel with dogs and the big lit grass field behind the hotel is great for me.

We all were in agreement this is one of the best value chain hotels we have stayed at and hope that they continue this high level of service, and cleanliness for years to come . The room was larger than expected and had a beautiful view over the lawn. In the future, if I have to visit Valdosta for multiple days, I will definitely choose this location again. It was also nice to have a "smart tv" with Netflix capabilities.

This was by far the nicest hotel I have been to in quite a while, not only was it clean and well kept but the staff was amazing, you could tell they took pride in their job and took ownership of the hotel. The breakfast was amazing, nice fitness room, we didn’t get to enjoy the pool due to in-climate weather but would love to come back and visit again. From check in to check out we couldn’t have been more impressed with the service. Well done Best Western Plus!

Location is convenient to highway and good food but youre set well back off of the road and its quiet with nothing immediately adjacent to the hotel. I had double queen suite. Plenty of space to spread out.

Check-in, cleanliness, service and all that was fine. A couple of suggestions: make sure the alarm clock has been turned off (we had a nice wake up at 6:00 am) and change out the batteries on the smoke detector before it starts chirping (6:30 this morning).

This facility has been beautifully restored and is also very functional. The very friendly, smiling faces at check-in are wonderful after a tiring day of driving. We were very pleased with our experience - exceptional by every score.

The hotel is very clean and up-to-date. There’s a really nice neighborhood adjoining it. That is nice for a stroll. The breakfast was good. The only issue we had was the bed. The only covering was the sheet, a very thin blanket, and a very thin cover it. Because were used to sleeping with the comforter it was a very relaxing night.

Price had doubled since last year when we stayed there, so not a good value. Also, prefer cooked oatmeal for breakfast

The buffet was ok in the morning although, one of the workers told me I couldnt have my service dog with me that was clearly labeled as a service dog. She then questioned that my dog was really a service dog. It was embarrassing in front of all the guests in the dining area and uncalled for as my dog was quiet and behaved and by my side at all times.

I always stop here when I’m driving long distance to visit my family. Hotel is always clean, staff is friendly and welcoming. I’m not a breakfast person, but the breakfast buffet looked really good.

We were displaced because of hurricane Helene. Amber, the GM, went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had what we needed. The entire staff was excellent.

We called every hotels in Valdosta for last minute one night stay. Didn’t realized they’re all booked do to hurricane Milton still impacting hotels and FEMA employees staying all over the area. Looked out on this place even though we didn’t need the suites and pricey for our purpose. Breakfast was mediocre. Not opened tell 7:30 during week days is not appropriate!

Clean, well appointed rooms. Truly exceeded expectations.

We stayed in a suite and the room was quite spacious with a living room area and 2 queen beds with the bathroom attached.

Clean room,smell really clean.Very spacious.Excellent breakfast ,hot and a variety of food choices.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a pet friendly hotel and we had ours with us. Heard a crunching noise from my dog and realized the last guests had their dog and the leftover food was not cleaned up by housekeeper.

We stay here overnight every year we make the long drive to the beach. It’s clean, quiet, and the staff is always attentive - every time.

One suggestion: Add some tea bags to the breakfast drink station.

This was my first time staying at a BW Hotel. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Customer service was great. Cleanliness and condition of the hotel and room were excellent. No Major issues.

Staff were all cordial, helpful, and seemingly genuine. They seemed to have good relationships and enjoyed where they worked. Although I’m not a pet lover, I felt comfortable because there were assigned floors for pets and, when they were in the common areas, they were all tightly leashed. Building smelled and felt clean.

Outstanding place to stay. We found ourselves passing through Valdosta again less than a week after our first stay here, and was soon as our plans materialized, we booked again because our first stay here was so great. Everything is top notch!

Amazing stay. Thought I was going to miss breakfast and it was ready an hour earlier than regular serving hours! Cleaning staff was awesome as well. Room was immaculate every day that I received room service. Quiet stay as well. Everything was awesome and will stay again. This hotel is a cut above the rest compared to other hotels in Valdosta that I’ve stayed in before. I’m sold on the Best Western!

Oitstanding place to stay! Our room was huge, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. We don't come this way very often, but this would be my first choice the next time we're headed this way.
