    The room was decently clean. Elevator was horrifying felt like the tower of terror. Metal panel missing over the buttons. Charged me individually per night at check in. Which is fine but tried to tell me it was the accidental deposit. After speaking with 3 people finally I got an answer it was charged per night. Just didn’t want to be charged twice for a hold. Shower didn’t have a liner just a fabric curtain. Kept flooding the bathroom and had to clean it after every shower. Just kept telling ourselves it’s a place to sleep we are leaving in the morning.

    My only issue was the ice machines and very small bathroom area. Had to go to the 4th floor to get ice cause the 5th floor and 6th floor ice machines were not working. No towels were ever available in the pool area when I used the pool. Other than those issues it was decent.

    Great hotel on the outside limits of Washington DC, great price. The best surprise was that we were a mere 2 blocks away from the train station that takes you to Washington DC downtown! Just parked our car forgot about the traffic and having to find parking downtown and went our way to visit Washington DC. Great location!!

    The staff was more than exceptional. We were driving down from NJ at around 6am that morning, and our check-in was scheduled for 3pm. However, my group had a mandatory event (that we were literally traveling to DC for), so I called a few days before for the possibility of an earlier check-in that day. The staff was more than accommodating and easy to reach about the situation. After a multitude of frustrating experiences with other hotels, this one generous favor enormously stood out to me. They were so nice and friendly when we got there too, super kind and not just in the "I'm doing my job so I have to be way," like genuinely kind, friendly, and great people/staff.

    The hotel was older but clean. We did find small inconvencences like the Ice machine worked on the first day we were there then they stopped working (every floor). The rooms were cleaned and everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay in general.

    The staff was very courteous. The hotel needs a remodel ie the elevator trimming missing, room shows a lot of wear. Staff had a schedule problem having no hot breakfasts one morning. Location was fine with about 30 minute city drive to the Capital area.

    hihi this was my first time booking a hotel ever and having one for myself so there was a bit of worry, I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner, we absolutely enjoyed our stay, the staff are so nice and accommodating, the room was clean, sheets were clean, surfaces were clean, some things in the room are a little older which can give the look of uncleanliness but there was no dust indicating it is routinely cleaned like the ac and shower, the tv has airplay and can use fire stick.the bed was really comfortable, the room itself just had a nice feel. Where the building is at and where our room was at we had a really nice view and felt secluded from the area. You couldnt see surrounding stores even tho they are insanely close for convenience which I like a lot. The breakfast is very decent it just goes fast so if you want some try to get it within the first 2 hours.Also if you’re worried about suspicious suds in the pool,that is from inactivity I went in and they went away instantly with movement. Quick double back I REALLY enjoyed the In unit ac, being able to dictate the temp of the room at any point in time made my stay really comfortable as well and it works really quick. Shower has nice pressure just a little bit small but most are.The elevator works a little slow but it works fine and was a good help going up and down ( tho I did use stairs here and there for the experience but be careful you can’t get in certain floors ) overall I enjoyed my stay 10/10 would come again

    We checked in, went upstairs and came right back down to check out. The reviews that I read before booking must have been paid reviews. Pulling up to the front door there were people hanging outside smoking, its like people are living there. The sliding doors to the lobby sounded like they were about to fall off the hinges. The lobby was clean and the front desk staff that checked me in was very pleasant. After being checked in, when we got into the elevator it was also very sketchy, our room was on the 4th fl, and as soon as the elevator doors open the smell of smoke slaps you in the face, the carpet was dirty, had stains, we get to the room and the corner of the door lock looks as If it was pryed open before like broken into. A few of the doors looked like this as well. We get into the room and it smell like the previous person that stayed there chain smoked in that room. The door to the adjoining room the lock was loose and seemed like the person next door could easily kick the door open. The cleanliness of the room was average, it was ok but not great and the cigarette smoke was overwhelming. We gathered our things and went back downstairs to check out, when the front desk staff asked the reason and I told her she just said ok and told me to call expedia. She didn't seem surprised at all. Thank you to expedia for processing our refund so quickly after speaking to 2 different representative after the first one had us on hold for a while and then hung up.

    The hotel still needed a lot of updating especially in the elevators and the ice machine was not working on my floor. My room could use a new toilet the screen looked dirty and worn. The AC made a strange sound which kept me up most of the night. Despite that, the staff was friendly and my room was clean. For the rate, it was ok. It was good for a short stay.

    Our room was a very good size, bathroom was clean and stocked, the staff were great and provided us with everything we asked for. The front desk clerk who checked me in went way above her pay grade to help me with my reservation mishap. Everyone at the front desk were very courteous. It was a holiday weekend so they were packed but as I watched people check in or just had a problem to be solved, I never saw any form of confrontation from any of the staff. The price was great also. If given the choice, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

    I liked how nice the building was when you entered. The indoor pool was nice, it was always packed with kids so it wasn’t enjoyable. Quick check in. Free breakfast was good. I didn’t like that I was missing a chair in front of the computer table, smelled like weed in my room different times of the day. Toilet was loud always had to keep the bathroom door closed. The heater in the room was terrible. Floor in elevator and lobby always wet due to people from the pool. Closest places to eat and shop were 25 minute walk.

    There were a lot of suspicious individuals hanging around the property, which made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. To make matters worse, the evening front desk attendant appeared to be under the influence, and the manager seemed to single certain guests out instead of handling concerns professionally. The elevator and front entrance were also in poor condition and looked very run down. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, and I would never choose to stay here again.

    Our room was spacious and well kept. My biggest complaint is that there were no blackout curtains in our room. The light from the parking lot was pointed right into our room which made sleeping less than stellar. Each and every floor smelled like weed heavily which wasn't welcome. I'm fine with those who want to live life how they want but when traveling with kids, I do not want to have to deal with this to the extent we experienced.

    I am going to be 100% honest. I read mixed reviews before staying at this motel. But the location and the price was perfect for our family. We had an amazing stay. The property was very clean. The breakfast was so good and area was also very clean. The pool was a perfect addition to keep the kids occupied. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We were all very comfortable and had a great time.

    Check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM. We finally got a room at 4:45, knowing we had to get ready for the bus trip to the stadium at 5 PM. The elevators are in poor shape and very slow. The workers tried to be helpful, but they were clearly out of their control zone. I would never go again.

    I booked and paid $154 for a room , once I got there I'm just expected to pay my damage deposit they hold which I was told when I got there it was a holding fee $1 okay cool I proceeded to use my chime card but was told I couldn't use a chime card I needed to provide a physical bank card mind you its 7:00pm at night so I'm pissed off I had no where to go. This requirement was not clearly stated until arrival . because of that , I was unable to check in and could not stay in the room I paid for. I recommend the hotel clearly communicate all deposit and payments requirements upfront to avoid situations like this.

    Breakfast items are ok, would like to see more variety and fresher produce . Hotel can use some updates around indoor of the property, especially the elevator. The pool had a very musty smell and the water had very strange oily drips over the whole surface. The exercise room had a very particular smell kind of like kitty litter. Some equipment needs updating . Room was good. The hospitality staff only made one bed . Very strange . Overall the hotel is ok otherwise .

    My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to visit our son. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were really nice and the complimentary breakfast was good. The only complaint I have is that the bed spread on the bed had some stains on it. Other than that for the price, it was a good hotel. About 20 minutes away from DC

    The elevator was falling apart literally, we had to press the floor button a few times for it to work and it shook a little when pressing it. Part of the elevator wasn’t attached the wall part where you press which floor you’re on. The staff was friendly The room was fairly cleaned outdated, the tub was smaller than usual. We didn’t watch the tv, there was a hardened substance on the desk, some wood was missing from the tv stand by the fridge. Beds felt like they were full size instead of queen but comfy. The vent in the bathroom was covered in dust. The ac unit cover was off of the ac a little bit. They’re strict on the pool closing at 9pm. We went to check it out one night of our stay and they informed us it was closing, she opened the door and told the people that were already in the pool but they didn’t get out while well we’re down there. I’ve never stayed at an hotel and the pool closed at 9pm and was so strict on the time. Also the fitness area is ridiculously small and smells really bad. We turned around as soon as the door closed. You get what you pay for. It served its purpose next time we travel to Washington we’ll spend the extra money to get better accommodations.

    Room: it was outdated and there were stains everywhere, it was clean but vents were full of dust in bathroom Stains on couch and marks on tables and bathroom tub chipping ONLY HAD ONE BLIND, very see through. The blind was also so marked up. Pool had weird looking sudds in it, decided to opt out Gym was also outdated, looks like everything hasn’t been changed in a long time Offered to change my room, so I’ll give credit for that but decided if I had to spend the one night in the room I’d just stay there all weekend.

    First off the desk clerk(an Indian lady) was so nice, she gave us two rooms to choose from and decide which we preferred. However there was just an underlying need for minor repairs and cleaning. Only one floor had a working ice machine. The breakfast wasn’t always stocked. One day they forgot to clean our room until I told the same lady who made sure it was cleaned the next day. Location was great, close to the metro to walk to and other stores are close enough to drive to if you needed something.

    Run down hotel looks much better online than what it actually is in person. I don’t feel safe there at night and the entire hotel smells like marijuana, sheets are stained and room smelled gross showers were rusted. DO NOT bring your children here. My 4 year old has asthma and I had her inhaler handy due to the strong smell. Staff was friendly and that was the only good thing about this place.

    I got locked out due to a faulty door lock. All my stuff was locked in the room, they moved me to another room with mold in the tub. I was able to retrieve my stuff until 7:30 the next morning, by then my ice cream I had previously put in the freezer was fully melted. So, I’m guessing the freezer didn’t work. The staff said they were unable to compensate me for these inconveniences because I am not a member and booked through a third party.

    options, or some kind of breakfast bread that is hard. The worst part was when it was time to check out they were holding a church service in the pool and the church was using all of the hotel carts whenever checking out, You needed to carry everything from your room down the hall and out the door, and we were threatened to be charged more for a late check out if we couldn’t make it happen by 11. I frequently visit Maryland because I have family that lives here, but I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

    Thomas at check in was great! I arrived before the normal check in time but he went of of his way to make sure I had a room and even found me a bellcart for all my luggage since I had a lot. The room was perfect for my daughter and I and the beds were very comfy!! Loved the indoor pool and free breakfast as well! I’d definitely stay here again!

    The staff was really nice and the hotel is generally clean. But... I swam in the pool Friday and Saturday night (without my glasses on, because I was swimming.) Sunday night I kept my glasses on and saw that the ceiling in the pool was covered in black mold. I was wondering why my asthma was getting progressively worse during the few days that I was there. Now I am fighting a full on asthma attack. You can clearly see the mold when you walk into the pool area and look up. It's very visible and there's A LOT of it.

    The room was horrible, rust in the tub, bugs in room, no shower curtain, really loud noisy heater. People in hallway all night talking making noise, elevators defaced.     - Property appeared to be under construction, especially the elevators - The latch on my door was jammed, so the door couldn't close. The maintenance person couldn't fix it and then took 45 minutes of waiting in line again to get a room change and when I did, I had to carry my own linens to the room - The picture they use of the pool for all of their advertising is not an accurate representation of the hotel. - In the middle of nowhere with no amenities in walking distance. - Would never stay here again, even for the price.

    Got to the hotel at 4 an hour later after check in, the front desk person said my room wasn’t ready and had to put me in another room. That room bathroom door wouldn’t close and there was bugs both nights and when I checked out and told the front desk clerk and showed her pics of the bugs she said they couldn’t give me a discount or anything because I didn’t book through there rewards program but I booked through a discount program like Expedia. I’m not sure what that has to do with the room issues and why I couldn’t be accommodated.

    The hotel needs a serious deep cleaning. Our 1st room reeked of cigarette smell, had stained/dirty tub. Also there was a stain on the curtain where some type of bug was smashed. I will say that the staff was very empathetic and responsive with transferring us to another one that appeared nicer. However, the mattress was so filty and need thrown out immediately. I just feel the presentation, cleanliness just isn't there, no matter how much affordable it is, compared to other places.

    Woke up on check out morning only to realize there were no towels. Called the front desk from the room phone and it was busy. And busy the night before. It was always busy, I called multiple times. The morning desk worker told me to come downstairs to get a towel. Mind you I had just got out the shower.     One of the elevators was stuck for a long period of time emergency services and firefighters with police had to help free the person. Sink smelled musty and basement like.     Arrived at 2:25pm and was told if we wanted to checkin early which is only 35 minutes it was $50 extra. Never had a hotel charge for arriving early. Obviously i waited the extra few minutes as did other guests coming in. Only 1 elevator worked so took forever toget to the room. The room itself was comparible to other hotels i stayed at. Only exception is the bathriom. The sink was outside the bathroom, so i am sure the handle for the bathroom door is germ city. The shower faucet had a steady light stream of water coming out of it, so that needs to be fixed. The breakfast was good. Had multiple options. Overall compared to other hotels i stayed at in the area this was below average. I would not stay here again. The negatives outweigh any positives.

    Only one elevator was functioning and none of the up down arrow buttons lite up when pressed. The AC unit and refrigerator was loud and kept me away when they turned on. The entertainment center was rotten and falling apart in the refrigerator compartment. There were not pens or paper on the desk. There is no ice machine and no vending machines. The back of the hotel where there use to be a restaurant looked like it had been abandoned for quite some time and was falling part. The staff on the other had was top notch very professional and helpful .

    Room was missing a hairdryer. Front desk advised that they were "out" of hairdryers. Apparently some guests steal them and they can't get replacements fast enough. I guess some people are lowlife enough (and you know who you are) that they are okay with petty theft, and the stigma of shame isn't even close to preventing it.     When we pulled into the entrance of the hotel, we were hoping that it wasn’t what we were looking at. The hotel looked abandoned & had no signage whatsoever. Got into the lobby & it was “ok”. Before we got to our room we looked around and the pool looked as if someone poured a bottle of soap in it. I knew right away my swimsuit was staying in the suitcase. The hallway to the room was smelly and the room numbers were written on a piece of paper and taped to the walls. The door to the room was very hard to open, I thought the keycard didn’t work. Once in the room it smelled like stagnant water. There were gnats in the room and the bathtub had rust stains. The fridge didn’t close due to the bottom of it being extremely rusted out. It was so bad that the wooden cabinet that it sat in was buckling from water damage, assumed to be from the leaking fridge. I immediately started looking for other hotels in the area and everything else was either booked or way to high for 2 nights due to the football game. We literally only slept and showered. No relaxation whatsoever!! I immediately started itching just from the feeling that place gave me. I can’t believe all of the good reviews the place has. I even asked the housekeeper for new/fresh towels and she refused to give me some, said I had to go to the front desk. I’m very embarrassed of the fact that I stayed in a place so uncomfortable. The photos look nothing like the real thing. This place gets NO stars!!

    Nice hotel with s wonderful staff and great customer service at the front desk. The breakfast was okay, but a nice start to your day. Housekeeping kept everything nice clean and smelling good. Definitely will return again.

    It was a cool stay for the price. Renovate rooms are nice but still could update the bathroom showers but not crazy bad. Make sure you’re on time for breakfast because they don’t restock.

    We weren't sure we were in the right place because there wasn't any signage on the building. The lobby was very sterile and uninviting. There was a security guard in the lobby which was a little off-putting. Once we got to our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room. The whole hotel had been newly renovated with hard wood laminate flooring, new furniture, etc. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom area was very small.

    The service and the employees at this location were very nice and did their jobs well. My stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. My only complaint is on checking out I did not receive a copy of my final bill, as IU was advised by the desk clerk that I would receive it from the booking agent. I to date still have received it.

    The room was clean enough. All the fire sprinklers were covered in spider webs and dust. The elevators are missing panels of the wall and ceiling. The bathroom had hair and dirt around the shower. No type of security, there was an hour long fight in the hallway outside my room.

    Staff handed me a plunger and told me to plunge my own toilet. Had to plunge my toilet all night long. Problem persisted all night long. Staff did not help with the toilet clog. Flooded bathroom. Staff did not change my room. Refused to give me a new room.

    The guest service at the beginning was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. I thought the check out was 12pm. But when the lady called about 1110am, i asked for 12pm and she quite rudely said no i had to be out at 1130am. Nothing else.

    It’s a whole in the wall hotel, literally. Exposed wires. Dirty floors, stained mattresses, chipped paint on the wall bed frame coming apart, out dated bathroom. Elevator on the verge of breaking down. Ice machine was broken. Also I had two random ppl come knock on my door… I really don’t recommend this hotel

    The guy at the front desk gave a key to my room to a total stranger at 130am . The night before that scrwaming children in the hall all the way up to 430am. I called the front desk over 7x. I jad Executives there as well in numerous room. One executive bathroom was leaking all kver the place. Another executive had a huge hole in their bed. Another executive room was kncoked on at 2am to see if she really belong there. I was told i would receive a refund that did not happen . I called the hotel 4 times still no call back .

    We are trying to get a refund for unused portion of our trip. Lack of hot water, and more critically, mold on walls, its disgusting. Lobby tried to put us in other rooms, I really hope they are able to cure it for health and safety of others.

    I came to this property because I was attending a Beyoncé concert. I give this property two stars because upon arrival they were playing Beyoncé‘s album in the lobby. However, I believe two stars is too high for the experience that I’ve encountered. The lobby area was clean no complaints there. When getting into our room, I noticed that there was a bathtub that wasn’t sanitized nor cleaned. It looked as if a group of people took a bath and left a ring around the tub that was never cleaned. We brought it to the front desk, attention, and the front desk clerk offered us to stay in another room, however told us that we would have to return to our original room the next day as they were booked for the Fourth of July, which was the next day. We get into the new room which is worse. The tub has paint chipping from it and foundation all over the walls. We returned to the original room and the clerk was nice enough to clean our tub as there was no house available. The clerk stated that the tub was in fact dirty and had not been cleaned. The walls are THIN! We had to call security on the group beside us because they decided to stay up till 3AM laughing, being loud and slamming the door. This property will not be recommended. Staff was kind though!

    We stayed here for one night for the Beyonce concert. Obviously, the place was sold out. I felt bad for the the front desk staff because their computers froze while there was a line of people checking in. Our room wasn't that great-kinda old, not many towels but it was fine for one night. You can walk from Northwest Stadium-about 2 miles.

    stayed here for the beyoncé concert on 7/4 and wasnt that impressed with the room, however, because i booked early and got a decent rate i cant complain that much. i was a bit puzzled at the extra $150 fee that was charged but it didnt stick, so i’ll let that animosity go too. room was a bit outdated and did not have carpet as shown in the pics. showering was my least favorite thing to do in the room as there was a rust stain in the tub. again, it was ok for what i paid, but probably would not stay again. front desk worker was amazing!!!

    The property is nice. However, there are no irons in the room. You have to go down a front desk to get one. The ice machine on the second floor is broken. Also, my purse was stolen and I needed to wait for a locksmith and was denied a later check out.

    I am 65 years old woman who rented the room for one night for my son and his wife and son. They spent all day driving me home from their home (Long Island, NY). I was told I had to leave a $150 deposit (not cash) and I would get back upon departure. I felt myself becoming frustrated when the front desk clerk kept saying, no friends and no parties. I explained to her they were just staying the night to get rest before they had to travel back home. She said again no friends and no parties. I ask her was I not allowed to go to their hotel room because I'm not staying overnight. She said no you're ok because you are paying for the room. Then went to the room to use the restroom and the room smelled moldy and looked dirty. If that was not enough, in the morning my son went for the breakfast and told me the food tasted as if was not cooked. The final straw was I was told my deposit money would not go back on my card for 14 days. Funny, just a week earlier I rented a room in Long Island and had a totally experience from the same hotel franchise. I don't believe I will ever rent there again (not even for a night). I still haven't gotten my money back. Disappointing experience and I didn't even spend the night.
