The room was clean and updated.

Good location, clean rooms, and friendly service. Everything was smooth and well organized. Nothing extraordinary, but a solid and comfortable stay overall.

I don’t travel much but this was one of the BEST Properties I have been to in a long time. Everyone was so nice and it is a very clean environment. I will definitely book it again

Who serve breakfast is not pleasant , little root

Check in was quick, parking was good with locked gates. Bed was big and soft. Breakfast was good. My room was right by the office so it was very loud. Also the room layout was strange and the mini refrigerator made noise, had to unplug it. The toilet paper holder was behind you on the wall which was awkward.

The location is horrible. The main entrance is a two way street so small to get through traffic. The hotel was doing construction where my room was located. Could barely get to my room. Woke up ants in the bathroom and while my kids were playing hide and seek there was a dead roach by the bed with ants. I will never stay there again. No apology when I showed the manager the picture of the roach with ants. When I gave her my room number she already knew I had ants in my bathroom but didn’t even follow up to the message I sent. The guy who check us in was great and helpful. Horrible experience never again.

The lotion smelled like old oil. I asked for a replacement, but the two replacements they brought also smelled like old oil. Bring your own lotion if you need it.

I love this hotel. Stay here at least once a month to once every two weeks. The only problem this time was our bathroom had ants. I informed the front desk, ladies and all they said was.I'm so sorry. I really hope that gets taken care of because it's not cool.Why you're going pee having an ant crawl on your foot.

Nice simple place. Spread out over a bit of area. Small pool and an ok breakfast. Parking is good so what made us happy. Suite wasn’t to bad. Had good size. Bed felt good. Shower was good. There are little things here that make it a 4 star for what you get. But didn’t feel like to bad a place.

I have stayed in many hotels, but this SureStay Plus by Best Western Upland Ontario North was the worst one. The service was very poor. One time, a staff member told me not to leave my plate on the table in the dining area, even though it is their job to clean it. The beds have metal frames, and every time someone touches them, they make a very loud noise. You can hear it all over the hotel, and it was hard to sleep because of it. The room had ants everywhere — on the walls, on the tables, and even in my personal items. I brought expensive skincare products, and by the third day, they were full of ants. When I complained, the staff did not help. They refused to give a refund and instead offered points, which I do not need because I will not stay there again. The room was not cheap. I paid about $500 for three days, and it was not worth it at all. I am very disappointed with Best Western.

The property was OK I didn’t like the stairs, it was raining, not enough shading to cover the rain going up the stairs very inconvenient. Not easy to roll suitcase up the stairs. The Wi-Fi did not work at all. I called the front desk and sent over their guy to supposedly repair it and it was still not working. I complained that they did nothing. It was really sad.

The room was clean, the staff were all professional and pleasant. The grounds are well maintained.I have no complaints...

The a/c was strong, but the main vent blew air straight at our faces when we were in bed; some might love that, but it was too much for us. Breakfast included pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, etc. It was quite a lot, given the price of the hotel. In view of the excellent reviews this hotel has received on Expedia, we were both surprised and a bit disappointed by our experience. As my son put it: "Aside from the ants and the sticky floor, it was a pretty nice place."

Very noisy. The other guests were very loud and disruptive. The bed bases were made of metal/tin so whenever you touch it or run it to it it clangs.

1. Breakfast is bad. No fruit. Oatmeal loaded with sugar. Yuck. 2. Workout room soooo smelly. No bikes. Treadmill broken. No mats. 3. Room is fine but hotel very noisy. And massive bright light automatically turns on when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Good luck getting back to sleep after that. We’re AirBnB’ing next time. Half the price. Just as close.

Good hot breakfast with early hours. Gated parking lot. Beautiful lobby. Comfortable rooms and beds. No (or limited?) elevators to the 2nd floor. A few gaps in the laminated flooring in our room. Small gaps in door seal to the outside (lets noise, light, and smoke in from the outside).

Traveled for work. Room was clean, I felt comfortable being in there. The hotel had extra blankets and nice pillows. The provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Parking lot was big, and I felt comfortable parking my vehicle because the parking lot only allows in guest who have key card. A/C worked really well. I didn't use the following services but the hotel had free wifi and room service, and a restaurant attached (which at the time of my stay, it is closed on Tuesdays). I would definitely stay again.

There must have been a lot of people as there was no food at 8:30 am. They added more food when I asked the person on the back then again after there was no mix for waffles. Person was on her cell phone both times when I went to ask for more waffle mix. We ate but it was later than I expected . as I had to continue on my trip.

Everything looked clean and good but we spilled a drink and grabbed a towel to wipe it up and the towel turned black. Then we looked at our feet and socks and they were black.

Could be cleaner, but it was clean where it mattered and great value.

The room was incredible with so much space available. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the set up. Bathroom was super nice and clean as well as the room. Wish i could of been there since day 1 of our trip.

Check in staff was great and the rooms were clean BUT our first room had 2 spiders, the female housekeepers didn’t speak or even smile at all even when standing 2 feet away. Nor did the supervisor (wearing the white shirt) They opened our room door to see if room was empty with us standing in front of the door outside. 2 hours before checkout time. No communication at all to see if it was our room that we were standing right in front of. If you are scared of lizards DO NOT stay in the front section AND THIS PLACE 0 ELEVATORS. Due to the spiders we had to switch rooms immediately which caused us to arrive for breakfast at 10:02 and they would not let us in. How was the lateness our fault???

This is a motel. Our room had a stained loveseat and could have been a lot cleaner. Tons of dust behind nightstand. Bugs and spiders present.

The pictures of the hotel are deceiving. The suite was small and for 3 women there was only 1 small mirror and it was in the bathroom. There was NEVER hot water to shower at night with.

Stayed here for our snowboarding trip to Mount Baldy. It was OK the first room they gave us flooded and so we had to switch rooms but other than that, we didn’t have any other issues. Staff was friendly.

Second room was good, but once again had problems with the shower—shower head sprayed every direction but what it was supposed to. I also recommend wearing shoes, floors haven’t been mopped in a while and my feet were filthy after walking around barefoot.

The room and common areas were clean. The breakfast was good, changed a bit every day, they had pancake maker and a waffle maker machine, yogurt, fruit, bagels, mini muffins and toast along with coffee and juices. We used the hot tub which was nice until the winds got crazy and then the pool and the hot tub were full of leaves. We would stay again.

Wells sized room that was clean and tidy. Shower never really got hot and they have automatic lights on a timer in the bathroom that was frustrating. Breakfast was bland and a bit underwhelming compared to many other hotel chains that we’ve stayed at. Overall I’d rate it 4 out of 5 and would certainly stay again if I ever need a nice clean and quiet place to stay.

Pool and jacuzzi could’ve been cleaned. The beds have this annoying flimsy metal box spring that was hard not to not stub your toe every time you approach the bed.

Upon check in the property seemed to have many transients in the front and back of property. The rooms and parking are behind a gate that require a key card, which I thought would help with this issue. It did not. The rooms are updated which I appreciate but done pretty quickly and cheaply. The shower insert crackled and popped as I got in which made it super unsettling. Mold on the bathroom ceiling as well near the shower. The fridge made a terrible vibrating noise that kept me up the first night. I finally figured the source of the noise and turned it off so I could sleep the second night. The towels and bedding were clean and that was the most important part. Floors need more attention to detail and a more solid mop job. For a female solo traveler, i would not suggest to stay here. I was on edge for the majority of the time.

Room was very clean a spacious. The pillows were soft and comfortable. The whole room had modern look to it. Bathroom was clean. Shower worked well. The gated parking lot helped the area feel safe. The staff was very friendly and they seemed to genuinely care about making my stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was great too!

Room was cleaned so well out could smell the disinfectant, we did have to air it out when we arrived but I rather a clean room having to be aired out than not being able to tell it was cleaned at all. Kind and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast was not the best but isn't it always at hotels for free breakfast? I like the suite option set up, only thing that did truly make this not a 5 star review was that when we went to grab a second roll of toilet paper you could tell the sink had some water damage at one point which caused the roll underneath to get wet (it was dry but had water damage by the time we got it)

The room was nice, clean and spacious. What I didn’t like was on the website they said you didn’t need reservation for their sushi restaurant but ended up they were booked and waitlist was full.

Bedsheets looked like they were not changed from the previous stay, smell in the room was very unpleasant. Instead of staying 3 nights we stay only one and if it wouldn’t be our arrival close to midnight in unfamiliar area, I definitely wouldn’t stay in this place even for one night.

This place was great! Inexpensive on a weekend and we got a big great breakfast, enjoyed the hot tub, the room was quiet and comfortable. Theres a little wear and tear here and there of course, but I would totally stay here again!

The room was not cleaned. my husband saw hair in the bathroom sink as soon as he walked in. Needed to stay another night but decided to go elsewhere.

There was some miscommunication about late check in. The early morning front desk staff was amazing and fixed the issue with no hesitation. The breakfast is fantastic and the hotel is gated which made my stay feel even safer. The room was clean and very comfortable yet modern and up to date. I will be returning!!

The staff were very nice on check in and we liked the security parking. The room and bathroom were very clean, the towels were very nice and the breakfast was very good. In fact this was the best continental type breakfast we've had in a very long time. We had a very good stay and we hope to stay at this hotel again sometime. Thank you.

Towels were dirty! There were literal hair on the towel. When housekeeping came in the room, they even messed it up even further.

The hot tub was really dirty and not hot. Our room was okay, cleanliness could’ve been better.

We stayed overnight and the room was a good size for a great price, but it was noisy. We accidentally left a purse behind, and Faith was amazing—she made sure it was found and safely held for us. Her customer service was outstanding. Unfortunately, one of the young lady at the front desk staff when we check-in was not nice .. sort of had an attitude and it wasn’t even busy .

The front desk is clear quick and to the point the rooms are always clean and it’s a very quiet place love staying there

1)?Over 4 days, shower water wasn't warm enough to use it on 2 occasions 2) Central heating poured air into bedroom, with little going into other 3 rooms -- the opposite of what I preferred. Without a latter, there was no way to adjust. Good breakfast spread, but it's served in too small a room.

Menu was fine, I requested a specific room on booking but that wasn’t even close to accommodated. Room I was put into was quite dated, heater functional but not high quality and no decent access to chargers.

You can tell they tried to make this a nice hotel but I think the area really limits the extent to which they can keep the property up. The area is secured behind a gate and fence so at least your car seems relatively safe but there were some pretty sketchy people staying at the hotel. There was an empty bottle of liquor under the kitchen sink, dirty/stained couch, tagging inside one of the drawers. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was adequate or on par with other free breakfasts I’ve had and the layout of the room with living room was nice. All things aside, this is still one of the best options in the area.

There were sounds during the night. I was not sure whether the sounds were coming from HVAC vents or upstairs. The sleep was impacted. Everything else was excellent value for money.

The room is noisy - white noise, continuous bathroom drip, lots of random buzzing/rattling from somewhere. The blue couch in all the photos is actually quite stained if you look closely enough - i wouldnt sleep on it or dare to even use it as a bed. . But bed was clean and comfy and bathroom was too. I did enjoy using the hot tub.

The room was clean. But we skipped breakfast after taking a look - few options and didn’t look sanitary. Lots of folks smoking right outside the lobby door - so we had to walk through smoke to enter building. No coffee maker in room. Staff was very friendly. Fine but not a 9 out of 10 (as indicated on Expedia) in comparison to other accommodations with same rating.

Room was spacious and recently updated and hotel amenities were nice. Breakfast was pretty good and staff in the breakfast room were nice and helpful. The prices however changed each day so long-stay planning (I.e. a week or so) was more difficult.

I’ve stayed at Sure Stay a couple of times now. They have reasonable rates. Good location, very secure parking and a lovely pool and jacuzzi. Super clean and modern. Helpful staff and a nice breakfast.

It’s a nice hotel for the price. Breakfast is ok. My only issue was the jacuzzi needs to be way hotter. Good price for a nice room.

The only thing that bothered me was how low the toilet was. I felt like a gian using a toddler training potty. Otherwise, i enjoyed my stay and the polite staff.

There were bugs in the pool, a cockroach in the hot tub, whoever was staying in the suite above us spent all night making noise, and when I tried calling the front desk I found that the telephone was disconnected and I couldn't figure out how to connect it to the cable.

Our experience was ok. The room felt a little dirty and I was supprised that there was not an extra mirror in the room. The only mirror that was in the room was the bathroom. There were no lamps by the beds. It seems that Best Westerns are not the same as they use to be.

For the most part, the room was clean except for the sheets. There was a big, yellow/brown stain on the white sheets (on the bed).

Hotel was fine; breakfast options are a bit sparse. Room is up to date and clean with easily cleaned surfaces.

The room is completely refurbished couple things that I didn’t know number one neither of our TVs worked. We let the front desk know. They said that they could move us, but we got in pretty late and didn’t wanna move so that was a little bit of a bummer That they didn’t have anybody there to fix the TVs number two. There’s no full length mirror anywhere in the room three no coffee maker in the room either but there was a microwave. It’s a little slow checking in. We had to wait probably 15 to 20 minutes for check-in. I would recommend probably recommend the hotel for just a one night stay, the bed was comfortable and it was fine for just one night.

I didn’t know what to expect but this was a nice stay. The hotel is in a good location. The staff is friendly and the room was very spacious and very clean. My one gripe is that the water pressure in the shower was low but overall I am pleased and would book again.

For how cheap it was the quality was shockingly good. Newly renovated but just keep in mind that anything this cheap isn’t of the best quality. Would stay here again honestly for just a quick overnight place to rest my head and I’m usually someone who doesn’t mind spending a little more for better quality.

The only issue I had was with the front desk. Two people working. One was helping a customer. The second woman didn't even acknowledge I was there. If it was not the second woman's duty to check in customers, should have said, "She will be right with you." The customer then walked away and I went up to the window. The woman wouldn't even look at me. She finally looked up and said she was still helping the person who walked out of the building. I told her she should have at least said, "I'll be right with you." Totally rude. Will not stay there again.

The property and the location are good but the housekeeping was very bad we stayed for one week and they did clean the room but they never change the bed sheets for the whole week that we stayed in and that was an issue??

Clean, comfortable room. The mirror in the bathroom was excellent with lighting all around it. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome. And it's nice that they have secure parking.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay, and am keeping them saved for any future trips I might have that will take me near the same are.

Had to of been recently redone and they did a great job. Would say there again!

We stayed in the suite and it had roaches in the room. Not enough towels or blankets for a suite that holds 6 people. It was also noisy form washer machines next to our room.

Oh my ... please just do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. The photos on Hotels are so very misleading. For starters, the reception desk is surrounded by plexiglass for security ... and there are loads of shady characters milling about the property. This is an old-school motel and it's being used for nefarious purposes. I'm sorry but a 9.0 rating for this property can only be described as patently false, and the photos look like something wrought be AI. The room seemed to be recently remodeled, but it still had the distinct stench of cigarettes. The vibe of the whole complex is truly surreal and I can't believe I fell for the false advertising. Trust me, just book elsewhere. We checked in and within a few hours checked out, even though it implied a significant loss of money for a prepaid 2-night stay.

Theresa at reception was handling rush hour and a malfunctioning key reader with such grace + solo. She kept it lighthearted and was super efficient despite the technical difficulties. Great customer service. The king suite was in great condition besides some hair and minor shampoo stains on the shower walls. The pool was about a 7/10 due to some debris and probably lack of filtration / skimming. The jacuzzi was very clean on the other hand. Breakfast on a Monday was 6-9 and had eggs, sausage patty, potatoes and waffles you can make. A variety of bread and cereal. Coffee and water available reception at all times.

Good Value. Area is not the best but hotel property is gated and feels mostly safe. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and appears to have been recently renovated. Staff was very nice.

We loved our stay there. It was very nice . We felt safe enough there to walk to go get dinner. Our room was nice and clean. The bathroom was a nice size. An all around great place to stay.

Great clean and quiet

After check in and bringing our luggage into the room we were startled by the fire alarm system going off. We then went outside our door to find a “waterfall” of water coming down from the sprinkler system 4 rooms away. We went back to our room and tried to filter out the noise of the alarm. It continued to sound for 45 minutes. We then walked to the front desk and found a very chaotic situation. We asked when and if the situation would be corrected and were told “we don’t know” We then checked out and drove 25 miles away. We then had to stay at a much more expensive hotel.

The hotel was honestly pretty good. It was a quick night stay but absolutely no complaints it is well maintained & clean & I loved how spacious the king room was especially for it just being me. I also loved how the actual property had a gate that you could only access with a room key. It definitely made me feel super safe.

I had an amazing stay! The hotel was super clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I got a suite and it was spacious, spotless, and reasonably priced. I also really appreciated that the property is gated — it added an extra sense of comfort and security. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay again ….. ohhhh and I enjoyed their breakfast comp.

This stay was part business and part family. We booked thinking the doors were not outside. However! For being how it was, we loved it. Overall good expierence, clean, safe, nice pool and hot tub. Good service as well and nice remodeled room.

Fire alarm went off for 2 hours and couldn’t sleep. There was no fire just someone smoking in their room.

Cons: filthy floors. Couch area of ‘king suite’ has a big empty space and it would have been nice to have a table and 2 chairs there to eat. Noise, can hear people walking upstairs.

I really enjoyed my stay and we will be back next month

The fire alarms went off at 4:30 stayed on till 7:30 called front desk as what was going on the say the fire department was on there way took 1 1/2 hour for fire to show up we just drove 6 hours and want to take a nap before dinner and couldn’t I think we should be compensated for the rate of the room.

Great stay

Super clean, fun pool and spa, restaurant next door. Really nice compared to other hotels in the area. Staff was killer.

It was good. Although the housekeepers need training in friendliness and some seem racist . Beside that it was good.

For the price, this is a really good spot! I'm so impressed with how they renovated this hotel! Clean and cute lobby, coffee, water machines, full breakfast included! But not just any coffee, flavored creamers (get out of here!) Online check-in beforehand, super easy/convenient. Nice to require a key card for guest parking in the back for safety (because that area of Foothill is medium safe). Clean room with cute, modern chair and clean bathroom counter/fixtures. Very white and minimal, don't expect 4-star hotel frills and thrills.. but the room came with microwave, mini-fridge, a TV that could connect to Netflix, had Salon Selectives body wash and shampoo/conditioner (throwback to the 80s!), nice functioning A/C and comfy, soft linens. I only wish the towels looked cleaner/whiter and fluffier and that the windows blocked out the outside noise more. They were very thin so you could hear people walking by, a loud truck in the parking lot and sirens in the street. But for what you pay for, a really clean, good 2.5-star place. If they want to really put a cherry on top (since they're already doing a great job), I'd say buy new towels, update/replace some caulking and touch-up some paint to freshen things up. But again, you get what you pay for and while I'd be appalled at cracked caulk if I was paying $500+/night, this is not that price, so I understood. That being said, I will probably be returning to this hotel!

Stayed one night

Our tv did not work, and there was a roach on the wall. It was called in and reported to the front desk. I've stayed there many times. Attendant at the front desk didn’t seen to care. Disappointed since i stay there for business trips often.

I stayed 2 nights. I Had several bites on my thigh, calves, and ankles that appeared on my drive home. I visited a doctor once I was home and after asking if I had stayed at a hotel recently he said they are highly likely bedbug bites.

Everything was amazing besides the "room service". Scanned a QR code in the room, ordered pizza, called an hour later to check the status, took another 30 minutes to arrive. Way over priced ($50 for a medium pizza) that barely had any cheese on it and was cold. The hotel itself was wonderful!

The room was very clean and the area was quiet and peaceful.

We were given a key to a room that was occupied by other guests. We didn’t know that there was a woman in the room. We kept trying to open the door with the key that was given to us. She was so scared that someone was trying to brake in to hurt her or kidnap her that she called her boyfriend and asked him to come back to the room. He had gone to the store. He saw us messing with the door so of course he was upset at us. We showed him our key with his room number and then he showed us his key with the same room number. We called receptionist and she came a few minutes later and upgraded us to a bigger room. We didn’t care about the upgrade because we were just so upset about the whole thing. We were so tired from driving all day and were just upset that we had to wait and deal with this until it was resolved.

The rooms have been freshly renovated and I love the light colors they used. The lobby is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly. Continental breakfast was awesome, parking and hotel are gated with key card entry, pool/spa was small but perfect for our little family, the gym kept us busy when we had down time, and the park across the street was perfect for my kiddo. Thanks for an awesome birthday stay with my family!

Newly renovated rooms! Very roomy and comfortable room!

We weren't here long but based on seeing a suite previously we were thinking it would be perfect for us. The room was ok but it smelled like urine. Outside smelled strong as well, for a gated area we didnt expect that. It was hard to rest, we woke up extra early to leave.

This property has definitely upgraded. It's been years since I'd been here at this location and the new rooms are very nice! Breakfast was amazing and staff was very friendly.

I'm not going to lie, in shocked at what I got for $100. Room is very clean, well kept, area is quiet, it's on Route 66, parking is gated, wasn't expecting that for the price. I got into the room and it actually looked like what was in the picture. It's basically an upscale Best Western in a sorts. Seems like they just remodeled, hopefully it stays this way, I would have no problem coming back. Not bad best Western, not bad at all.

Clean and large room. The A/C really worked almost too much. Could have used a heavier blanket. Big glass panel at feond desk made it hard to talk to staff. The first night we were there it seemed the homeless people snuck into the property, but we didnt see that again the other two nights. Made me question safety a bit.

The people above were walking and moving furniture ALL NIGHJT, makes ya wonder what they were doing, but easy to hear!

TV control is a nightmare.

This hotel is in a good location. It's around shopping and good restaurants! It also provides secured parking.

I was optimistic because online the pictures seem like it's a nice hotel, but sad to say it has much to improve. The check in was easy but from there on we had many bumps. The room was non-smoking, but we were surrounded by many smokers, it should definitely be posted and enforced, pool was dirty, no net to clean it. The sofa bed was super flimsy and room states that 4 people can sleep in the room we booked, two fit in one bed but the sofa bed was stained and is not spacious enough for two, so my kid had to sleep on the floor. The restroom had only one toilet paper roll that was half used so by the time we call front desk to asl for more, the line was busy. The light in the restroom goes on automatically so if you need the restroom during the night like we do it can be very disruptive. But what was really disturbing was a ticking sound, not a drip, more like an annoying ticking sound all night, this did not let us sleep. The area is surrounded by racket from construction next door and busy area just not a place for good sleep. We also got a lot of light coming in through the windows because there are no blinds just thin curtains that don't cover it all. The restroom floor is pretty slip and I fell hit my knee, so I send my husband to get food for me and the staff told him that I had to go get the food myself. We were four people, so we got four plates, I think it's fair since it says breakfast included, sad but it's but not easy getting good customer service at this hotel.
