I am injured and requested an ADA room. The fact that the elevator closest to my room was broken and I had to walk over 100 yards each way is unacceptable. There was no parking and the only place to get a drink was in the lobby and you had to use Apple Pay. If you’re going to have a sign that says ice/vending you should have a vending machine.

The following morning, although the scheduled checkout time was 12:00pm, at around 9:14am a staff member named Marie (at least that's the name she gave me) opened my room without knocking. I had just finished showering and was changing when I heard someone opening my door. I immediately told her that she should knock before opening as this was a clear violation of privacy.

The hotel is within a short drive to a lot of restaurants. Lots of easy parking. The hotel felt safe.

Aside from that the rooms were clean and the food was good which I appreciated. The only downside was the bathroom specifically the tub. It had visible rust lines and could definitely use updating or replacement. Overall, a decent stay but the real highlight was the front desk employee who went above and beyond under tough conditions.

I did not like the fact that there was feces on the toilet in my room and I had to call to get cleansers to clean it, also there was only 2 washcloths in the room so I called the at 8 am to get more towels no one ever came. I had to call again around 1pm

This property is dated but clean. The bed was comfortable and the people were friendly. The breakfast was not very good and not worth the extra money.

It was ok, I asked for a quiet area and still got noisy neighbors I guess is out of their hands but over all it was ok

I stayed for a week, unfortunately towards Friday and Saturday there was a lot of noise that sounded like construction plumbing going on from 8 in the morning. The toilet in my room also didn’t always flush correctly, so it took a few tries.

Amazing stay!

The hallways smelled of musty, moldy carpet. There were buckets in the hallways to collect rain water that was leaking inside. We had a water issue in our room, no other rooms available. The girl at the front desk was so apologetic and helpful. Maintenence was supposed to come and assess, he dropped of new towels (ours were being used to soak up water) and left. Will never stay here again.

I was mostly going to rate my stay as "OK". The rooms need to be updated. Every time I check in, things seem to be just ok...always an un-identifiable odor to the room that I assume is due to the age of everything in the room. If you gut the rooms and renovate the facility, it would earn a top score.

Great stay. Nice clean property, restaurant was closed Sunday night which sucked, but other than that we had a great stay. Front office staff were very nice and courteous even after we checked in relatively late. Recommend.

Other: Ground floor room - security lighting bleeds through see-through curtains. Heavy curtains decorative only, not adjustable. Entry and exit to property difficult due to heavy traffic. Room amenities sparse. Walk-in shower floor was slippery.

I truly enjoyed my stay here at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Union City. It was very easy to navigate to arrive at this hotel. I really appreciated, how quiet and safe I felt for the duration of my stay. I have no complaints about my room. It was clean and I appreciate it being able to upgrade to a higher level floor. However, my only issue is I requested a receipt to be emailed to me I have yet to receive that as I need that for accounting purposes, but other than that, I have no other complaints about my stay here.

The room was very dusty and the carpet felt like it needed a cleaning. Stains on the comforter. One of the beds had a broken frame so it slanted to the ground In the morning after showering went to use the blow dryer but there was no blow dryer The shower had mold in it. The bathroom looked like it could use a good deep cleaning. The walls covered in dust, behind toilet hadn’t been cleaned in awhile or the shelves under sink. Looked like they just do quick wipe downs and skip routine deep cleanings We left early next morning Not a hotel I would stay at again

They charge me again in air.I went to report it and they told me it was a technical error and assured me it would be fixed but it still hasn't been fixed.I asked If manager, can you contact me and never gotta call terrible service? I'm never gonna stay there again. I'm still waiting for my money to get reimbursed. I'm going to report this incident.

I didn't have breakfast, but I did have cocktails and dinner at the bar in their restaurant which is open until 10pm. Very convenient.

Absolute the worst stay! Prostitution going on in plain site. Transients living on the hotel grounds. Very unsafe. Ou room had mold and mildew all over the bathroom.

Everything was great! Tried calling ahead 3 xs no answer had to drive down. Once down staff was easy awesome! The back door by our room 135 needs to be fixed. I did go to the staff and tell them, but it still wasn’t done. It’s a safety hazard because we couldn’t park by our door other than that it’s one of the awesome hotels in the Bay Area.

The breakfast buffet was great!, the room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Awsome experience.

Right by Nimitz highway, easy to find parking and clean rooms

The property seems to be on the decline. The doors had to be man handled to get inside. The state of the room was ok till you started to look deeper into it. The carpet was dingy looking an filthy. The bathroom had grime in the corners and the tub had a ring. Overall the place needs to be remodeled and fixed up.

This place is awesome I like to stay everytime in the area, and recommend it to my friends family!

THE ELEVATOR STOPPED WORKING AND MY ROOM WAS IN THE 5TH FLOOR. When I complained at the counter at 3am, they offered to switch my room but I was already checking out in the morning.

I expected more from Crowne Plaza. When I arrived the toilet would not flush and the a/c unit was broken. How could they possibly not know this?

The window curtains were also in poor condition, riddled with holes that diminished any sense of privacy. As for breakfast, it was merely passable. I was served powdered scrambled eggs, lukewarm potatoes, and sausage patties that didn't justify the $18.99 price tag. For that amount, I could have opted for a much more satisfying meal at Denny's or IHOP, where the service is typically friendlier. Speaking of service, the cashier's professionalism was lacking. The atmosphere was further marred by the staff, who were more focused on gossiping amongst themselves than attending to guests. I noted they raised their voices across the dining area, making for a distracting and unwelcoming experience. Overall, while I could manage another stay there if necessary, I would certainly not make it my first choice.

The tub drains slowly and has standing water the entire shower and for a while later. Loud toilet. Stains on the chair. Hallway smells... wet? Honestly, for the price... not great.

The first night was okay! The second night there were lots of children in the hallway. They screamed and slammed doors until 1am. I called the front desk, however, the noise didn’t stop. I was also near the ice machine which kept running all night.

This Hotel needs a remodel, old carpet and paint fading or missing . Around the Bath tub it had a ton of caulking . Toilet flushed super slow like it was plugged .

Very convenient to my 100yr old mother's house. I have placed many family members here, as well stayed there on multiple occasions myself. The hotel is consistently fine, just nothing exciting about it. Staff has always been friendly, and rooms have been clean. Room rates are reasonable, although I wish they included a continental breakfast. They do have an onsite restaurant, but I found it to be a little overpriced.

It definitely needs more lighting. The main light at the entrance where turned off. When I checked in person of the counter was not familiar about everything. In the morning, I got locked out of my room before check time.

This property is clean, quiet and fairly priced. There is a great little Mexican restaurant down the street (Mexico Tipico) and the location is close to the freeway without the freeway noise. The breakfast selection was poor and cold. A traveler would do better to skip the hotel breakfast and put their breakfast dollars elsewhere.

I booked a room here for my mother who was visiting for the holidays. It was super easy to check in and check out. It was quiet and appeared to be safe. However, I suggest they have more lighting in the back parking area. It’s way too dark when leaving in the evening time.

Dirty, noisy, and a bit inconvenient.

It was a nice place but very run down for what they try to advertise. Rust in the shower, dirty bathroom tiles, sink had a fowl odor too. The carpets didn’t even look vacuumed and there were stains on curtains and lamp shades. Even the fixtures around the elevator and the buttons themselves were fixed with tape. Our scan key card reader was taped on to the door. There was also a lot of glass in the parking lot showing that lots of cars get broken into. When we left three cop cars were surrounding a car which looked like someone was sleeping in the parking lot. Very outdated and not very clean. Motel vibes.

Approaching the hotel there was an RV parked outside with lots of trash and flattened cardboard boxes. The lobby was clean and hotel staff was nice, however there were multiple times during our stay that staff was not around. They left a sign on the desk stating they would return later. Also the air conditioning did not cool the room at all even after running all night long. I complained but nothing happened to fix the issue. The patio furniture was dirty and torn and cushions were in disarray. The patio chairs were not arranged in any fashion. They were just placed wherever and the glass on the tables appeared not to have been cleaned in weeks. The girl working the register in the dinning room didn’t know how to work the register. Overall our stay was less than good.

Unfortunately when I checked in around 3pm, I was told that they did not have my room ready and the only room they had available was a 2 bedroom with the smaller beds, I told the staff that I had paid for a king sized bed and would like to have the correct room. The staff said they only had a king sized room on the first floor, I accepted, but when I entered the room, there was a very foul odor and there was a brown stain on the bed. I did not feel comfortable and returned to the front desk to ask for a different room, they apologized and said the only option was a 2 bed room on the first floor. When I entered the second room, I was caught by surprised when I saw that the beds were messy and there were multiple beer bottles on the counter. The room had clearly not been cleaned, and I had to return to the front desk once again. When I returned the staff told me the only option was to give me a 2 bed room until my room was available, I felt like I had no choice and since I had a meeting for work and I was extremely tired I had no choice but to accept the 2 bed room. Rooms have a damp smell, lack of circulation. Bathroom did not have a vent, the ceiling was moist from the moisture. We called for more towels and they mentioned they ran out. There is also a dumpster on the side of the hotel and it looks like the trash hasn’t been picked up in months..

I am handicapped. My key did not work. Lobby is in a different building. I had to go back and get another key. Double walking for handicapped. My feet are defective. Then at night when I got to room to sleep, there was a large black spot on top sheet on bed. No one to replace the sheet. I booked with breakfast and they did not give me breakfast.

Easy access. Close to shopping, restaurants and freeway but still quiet. Staff efficient and friendly.

The property was clean and tidy, the breakfast is limited and fixed with minimal service available. The breakfast service can do with an upgrade with a little bit quality and choice. The restaurant as a limited choice of mainly burgers and the bar was often closed before 08.30 pm. The location is the main problem as it is has very limited shops or restaurants within walking distance so without transport this could be an issue.
