I recently stayed at PAWANA Villa with my family and friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa had a rustic charm with everything made of wood, giving it a cozy and natural feel. We were a group of six, with three of us staying on the first floor and three on the second. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The bathrooms were just as stunning, adding to the overall charm of the villa. PAWANA Villa is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the world. The location is peaceful and serene, offering a much-needed escape. The breakfast was hands down the best I've had in Bali, with the fried noodles being an absolute highlight—truly to die for! The service was exceptional, and it was clear that the same staff members worked there consistently, ensuring that everything was spotless and well-maintained. They were quick to clean and always left the place in perfect condition. The private pool was a fantastic addition, and my family had so much fun enjoying it together. Another great feature was the villa's location. It was within walking distance to Paoman Restaurant and a newly opened villa, where we had the opportunity to experience a buffet and fire show—an amazing treat! We were lucky that these places were open, as otherwise, we would have had to rely on a cab for transportation. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend PAWANA Villa for anyone looking to relax and experience the beauty of Bali in a peaceful, rustic setting. While our stay at PAWANA Villa was mostly enjoyable, there were a few things that could be improved. One downside was the restaurant closing before 8:30 pm, which was a bit early for us. Additionally, breakfast didn’t start until 7:30 am, so if you had an activity scheduled early in the morning (like at 8:00 am), you would miss it, as cooking only begins at that time. Another challenge was the noise from the roosters. There’s a farm nearby, and if you're staying on the second floor, you’ll hear them constantly throughout the day. It can get quite loud and disruptive, especially for light sleepers. The location was another disappointment for us. While some reviews mentioned it being in a good area, we found that there was not much to do around the villa, and everything was quite far away. We had expected more nearby attractions, but aside from a school, there was little else within walking distance. If it weren’t for the restaurant nearby, we would’ve had to take a cab to get to Ubud town or other attractions, which was a bit inconvenient. I was really hoping for a more central location with more things to do close by. Overall, while the villa itself was lovely, I do want to emphasize that the location isn’t as convenient as some might expect based on other reviews.

Its very pretty, but many things dont work. The staff were never available to help, when they finally showed up they dont understand very basic english, so they go again and look for someone else, they were nice but not really helpful

I absolutely loved the villa, the pool was clean and relaxing, the fact that you are in a remote area with no noise, the room was clean, the bed confortable. - Note that if you do not rent cars or scooters it could be a little bit difficult to get grabs or gojeks here (scooter one, car is okay). Not a problem from the property, but you should know that before thinking about staying there. - I would also suggest the property managers to redo the wood walls that are broken between some of the villa because I could literally see the people in the villa next to mine, not a big issue but it can be uncomfortable.

The staff’s attitude. Lack of clarity of what is included and what is chargeable extra.

Property is awesome, it’s bit far but the beauty is in the location being far kids enjoyed stars from Private pool at night and morning breakfast with fresh fruit platter and juices were refreshing. Staff is polite and kind, specially Kumara prepared best food and ever smiling. All good only request to property is communicate more and open as I went through bit struggle to connect with Property Owner / Reservation before booking for some checks.

We loved the way the villas were designed, the terrace was big and the restaurant with room service was great It is quite far away from anything, so be prepared to book a taxi when you want to go anywhere (food, bars, shopping..) Also the pool at some point started to get cloudy

The essentials of what a private villa should be but it should also have a private pantry of some sort(the big empty space on the corner of the dining area). The villa is off the main road so lots of calming nature vibes The privacy could be improved as nextdoor villas are not totally seclude in view and because the unit mostly made out of wooden materials it produces lots of noises when guests moving around the villas. We were very lucky as when we stayed there, other units were unoccupied

Bed is comfy And surrounding area is Good, but next to our Villa was very loud. All Good but the staff didnt took note for our breakfast menu correctly, And bit late as we ordered to be ready By 10am, everything delivered to our Villa by 11am. And most of the food is cold already.

In the middle of nowhere. Very hard to get to. Friends we stayed with both got sick likely on the food and got bed bugs. Loud music and roosters. Dirty sheets, dirty pool cushions. See above.

Pictures show a much more luxury villa than what you get. The rooms were clean to the appearance but I spilled some water on the table and wiped it up and the cloth was filthy dirty. Same with the floors and bathroom. There were cobwebs and ants that seemed to be there for a long time. What outweighed all this was the staff. Extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, try the banana and pineapple pancakes. We took our 10 and 12 year old daughters and having them stay upstairs was a pain. The villas are on top of each other. Had neighbors that were extremely loud, played music loudly and smoked and we felt that there was nothing we could do except retreat to the indoors. There is no place to sit outside other than a dinner chairs and the lounge chair cushions were moldy. Pool was too cold to swim in. We thought the room came with a kitchenette but they had to bring in a gas burner and set it up in the corner. No sink and no place to clean dishes. I think if you are traveling without children than this is a good option. Just too many obstacles to make it somewhere we would go back to. But we will miss the pancakes!

The staff was excellent. The quality of the rooms, bedding, towels, products was amazing! The rooms are clean, spotless and so beautifully decorated. Gorgeous place, surrounded by rice fields, excellent service! Property is not close to much however, if you are looking to relax than the villas are incredible. We were very happy to stay in!

once we arrived we did not have as good of communication with staff as we did prior to arrival. it was difficult to get in contact with the front desk. the location is farther from main attractions but overall a lovely area to be more secluded
