Kale Konak

Im pretty picky about where I stay and am typically disappointed but Kale Konak was excellent in all categories: -- amazing breakfast served every morning with delicious home cooked Turkish delicacies including fredh breads, different cheeses, cooked eggs dish, fresh fruits, olives tapinades etc. -- beautiful grounds and rooms, incorporating relics, architectural features from old buildings with beautiful attention to detail -- nice linen, comfortable bed -- excellent helpful staff always present to help you with info. on the area, its history and restaurant and tour recommendations Nothing

I liked everything

Even though our balloon trip was cancel due to weather condition, we could see balloons went up from hotel roof on the next day. The bed and mattress could be more comfortable.

We deliberated a lot on our stay in Cappadocia, there were so many options and it's hard to decide which one would be authentic and good for us. We are glad we chose well. Our stay there was very short, and we came with no big plans except to get a glimpse of this amazing landscape. The hotel is located in Uchisar right next to the Uchisar Castle, has a great view of the valley below (and the balloon rides in the morning). The staff Mustafa and Bahar was super helpful with arranging all logistics for us very quickly including a shuttle to and from Kayseri airport which was over an hour away, a curated day trip with a guide and massages. Mustafa has been very gracious with his suggestions on what to do on the trip, restaurents to visit and went out of his way to make our visit memorable. It was my birthday on the one day and he arranged for a suprise celebration woven into our day trip, which was lovely. The Kale Konal breakfast is a wonderful spread and unmissable. The resident dog Badam will keep you company over coffee :)! The rooms are cozy and well appointed. Be prepared for a lot of up and down walking to the rooms, and come with lighter luggage. And dont miss a walk up the Uchisar Castle, the views are totally worth the short walk up.

We had a great stay at Kale Konac Cappadocia. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was amazing: we feasted on an array of olives, jams, bread, cheeses, eggs, and more. The cats and dogs were ever present and so sweet. The hostess was very kind and helpful. Uçhisar castle is right next to the hotel and there are shops, restaurants, and hiking trails within close walking distance.

We had an unforgettable stay at Kale Konak Hotel in breathtaking Cappadocia! It was just opposite the famous Uçhisar Castle .The staff were helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The house cat and highlight was Badam their dog. It really felt like staying at home The breakfast spread was a highlight - delicious, homemade-style Turkish delicacies served with a stunning view. Imagine savoring freshly baked pastries and sipping coffee while taking in the unique landscapes of Cappadocia! Our family room was cozy and beautifully appointed with fire place and comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. The hotel's unique architecture and tranquil atmosphere made for a truly immersive experience (minus the cold weather ) Kale Konak Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a genuine, warm, and unforgettable Cappadocia experience, look no further!" If there was a provision for lunch or dinner at the hotel that would have been perfect

I loved this cute little boutique hotel. We reserved a cave room and a none cave room. Both were clean and very charming. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very unique experience and loved the rooms we got! There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, they also offer a great breakfast with views. Parking can be a bit challenging and tight, given you are in the cave area with small, narrow streets.

Excellent location just perfect for a peaceful holiday but close enough to the centre and other areas. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. The place gives you a real feeling of old times with fabulous views to die for. The dogs and cats are a bonus for animal lovers! Last but not the least excellent team who will go out of their way to make guests comfortable. Nothing I can think of. :)

Great breakfast. In excellent location below Uçhisar Castle. All rooms unique. We booked a room with a balcony and view, but got a cave room instead.

Beautiful setting in a very desirable location. The staff treated us very well, the rooms were unique and comfortable, the massages at the hammam were great! Definitely get up early one morning to watch the hot air balloons, it was magical. I don’t have any complaints!

We had a beautiful room, with balcony & terrace providing great views of the surrounding area. Friendly, and truly helpful staff and a great location with local dining options within walking distance. Nothing to say here — All good!

This is a lovely property, far away from the tourist crowds of Goreme! But its easily accessible to all the locations – all tourist locations of Goreme, balloon rides early in the morning, Uchisar castle, etc. It is a perfect setting for a family or group stay. The rooms are spacious and isolated from one another. Though not inside the caves, it does give you the feeling. The staff is very helpful – we arrived around midnight but were assisted with all our heavy bags down the stairs! They have a good breakfast spread and the setup has a view of the valley! Strongly recommend the hotel for your travels! None at all!
