Grand Uçhisar Hotel

The room was too hot for us. Occasional sewage smell. Because it's a basement room, the only ventilation is from a huge fan but it's too loud to leave on. There's also a dehumidifier (a plus to keep the room dry but it also added to the heat ) Breakfast would have been better with salad/greens and vegetables.

The breakfast was super delicious local food, and the staff serving us was really nice. They brought everything even without us having to ask

Everything No

It was easy to get to and where it was located. Main road and in a quieter area than where all the tourists are. The staff helped me out by fixing the tours for me and explaining all other activities that were available. Great traditional breakfasts too!

Exceptional

The breakfast was 10/10. You get cheese, bread, buns, salami, omelette, coffee, cake, marmelades, olives and veggies and it's more than enough to be full until the afternoon! The service was amazing, the people are very kind. The room was very clean and romantic. We stayed at the cave and the room is very big and quiet. Also the shower was so big and nice!! The room was very humid but they did everything they could to fix it. We had a humidity abstraction machine and I am pretty allergic and sensitive but I didn't have troubles. Still would not recommend for asthmatic people.

There was an abundance of food for breakfast, they were always happy to bring out more if we were still hungry and even deliver it to our room when there was no space at the tables. The cave rooms were dark and cold, exactly as we had hoped. They also provided included 2 bottles of water which room service would replace if you drank them, whereas most hotels would charge for this service. The cave room was especially humid, though there was a dehumidifier, it didn't do much. Our clothes, towels and sheets were always moist and never fully dried. The room did not have a safe. The doors were not as soundproof as I'd like, specifically the restroom door.

The staff was very nice and the lady that brought us breakfast was very nice as well. The breakfast was good. Super small room, no table, dirty walls, bad smell from canalization.

The hotel is located beside the main road. Hospitality was top notch. The room was quite comfortable. Breakfast was really nice with different options of eggs, cheese, sausage, bread, olives, yoghurt and different fruits. They even offered to serve the breakfast to the room. Parking is available right in front of the property. Wifi is a bit slow, but was not a problem.

Nice , clean , calm. if you have car then location is good. Breakfast is nice. Room was small. Dustbin was only available in the bathroom. WIFI connection was bad.

The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated! It is close to Uchisar castle and the staff is very helpfull and friendly! Also the breakfast has a home made touch and is delicious!

We booked a room for two nights at Grand Uchisar Hotel for our stay in Capadoccia originally as an alternative of cave hotels (we weren't very fond of the idea of sleeping in a cave!). Only when we arrived we realized that the hotel is located strategically; it is only a few minutes walk to the center (where you can find restaurants, ATMs, you name it) and about 10-15 minute-drive to Goreme, the main attraction of our stay in Capadoccia. We had no problem finding the hotel at all! As soon as we got there, we were greeted by a lovely, comfortable hotel room. The manager and staffs were always there to help us. They spoke English very well and stayed in contact with us to guide us around Goreme. We even received an impromptu, personalized one-day tour from the lovely hotel manager consisting of all sorts of activities that have become our highlight of our stay in Turkey. For us, however, the breakfast was particularly wonderful! Every morning we looked forward to enjoying a hearty Turkish breakfast on hotel rooftop basked in the morning sunlight. None! Everything exceeded our expectations and we truly enjoyed our stay.
