It was in a very convenient area, close to the beach and restaurants.

I like how it was close to the beach and water. No elevator to use when taking stuff upstairs to our room.

We booked a family suite to have more space. Our tv did not work, the sink would not drain, the sofa was so filthy that I took one of the extra bedspreads off an unused bed to cover it. The office staff tried to get the tv working and after lots of plunging the sink remained clogged. The office staff moved us to a smaller room. The sink immediately clogged in it but after we requested a plunger, we got it working. The pictures are not accurate. The building, furniture, and fixtures are extremely run down. I am no diva and can deal with an old building as long as it is CLEAN but this one was not clean. I was not refunded the difference that I paid for the family suite vs the regular room. The location was great. The staff was super nice.

Floors weren’t swept cabinets would not close and drawers were tied shut no blow dryer 2towels 1 wash cloth for 2 people for 3 night stay had to ask and go get them every night but the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly location is perfect and cute inn all together just needs some updating

I loved the location. The staff were amazing and sweet. It's so close to downtown and the beach. The bed was uncomfortable. The electric plugs were not working. The fridge is freezing up.

Me and my entire family got ate up by either bed bugs or flea I have bites all over my lower back my daughter in her legs and my husband on his back I have pictures but yall wouldn’t refund me .

Had a lovely visit at the hotel. We stayed for two nights and there was no housekeeping during our stay, not even for fresh towels or trash removal which we weren’t expecting. The place could have been a little cleaner, in particular the floors weren’t super clean and my white socks got filthy after one walk to the bathroom and back, and while it is an older property, the room was nice and big, and the staff was very friendly and kind. All in all for the price we had a great visit, and will be staying with them again.

It was a very nice Charmin cute place convenient to the beach and restaurants and bars that’s sit behind it and in between the beach did not have to drive anywhere

The beds were mostly comfortable but the pillows were not the most comfortable.

Hotel does not have enough parking spots for the rooms they are renting. We were told to park in front of the hotel where there is off street parking, the spots are dirt not no paved. We received a parking ticket. There is no sign from the city that you cannot park there. When I informed the front desk about this the employee on duty was ZERO help. Said there is nothing he can do, there was no available parking on the premises. The owners refused to comp us the cost of the parking ticket and informed us that on the website is has a disclaimer that they do not guarantee parking. I went back to the website and there is NO DISCLAIMER about the parking.

It was a decent stay for the two nights there. However there was absolutely no parking the whole time, but staff was friendly and gave us a city pass so we could park wherever. We did have to park in the beach parking lot and walk. That is the only real bother to the place.

It was okay for a 2 night stay. I wouldn’t stay here for longer than 2 nights. Room was musty, floor was sticky, very outdated. Absolutely no parking so if you manage to get parking don’t move. Good water pressure and bed was comfortable though!

No amenities. No coffee, paper towels, sandy floors (had to scrub feet befire going to bed) no hair dryer. Truly 50's retro. Actually it is a 1950 hotel. Close to good seafood restaurants and beach shopping

So we picked this place because it said it was a great place for couples...saw pics on the site that showed a fancy bed and in room jacuzzi. What we saw was really nice. What we got was a basic room! Musty no pics on the walls, cables were hanging from under the mounted TV. Seams like however put the flooring down was guessing!!The up was it was close to the beach and all the good end of the strip. It was the middle of the week so I really don't understand the subpar room. Was it because we used Hotel.com or because we were black?

This place is great! The beach is right down the street, restraunts and coffee places,+ tourist shops are all within 2 pretty small blocks. The staff were friendly and nice and the place was clean and tidy!

I am big on a.clean bathroom, and clean sheets. I only stayed one night. The staff was great though.

The front desk was super nice. Loved the location and quickness of my stay. The hotel room was great and the ac was nice. Would come again!

Property was prime location for the beach, shops, food and bars. Bed comfortable, rooms were clean and welcoming. Staff were amazing throughout our entire stay. Would recommend and definitely plan to return in the future

I liked how close it was to the beach, gift shops and restaurants. The room was nice where it was located. It was a very quiet area at night. Susan was a delight. It was a nice place overall for what we paid. AC was the best I have ever had in a hotel. 66 and you were frozen. It needs a remodel for sure. Beds need replaced. Rooms need an update in general. The Internet would go in and out after about 6pm which was frustrating when trying to send emails and such. I would recommend bringing your own blankets. You have a sheet and I'm not sure what to call it but it's a little thicker but you will freeze with the ac at night.

Staff was friendly and room was pet friendly. This was a family trip to the beach. The property was within walking distance to the beach. We were in room 19. The sidewalk was outside of our room. Due to this, we heard everyone walk past our room, even had a few times where it sounded like someone ran into our door. All other rooms were within the property (I don't recommend staying in room 19). The beds were suitable. The floors were dirty and needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was not included. For a pet friendly trip, this was acceptable. There was a table with 4 chairs, a microwave, and mini fridge in the room.

Location You get what you pay for. Rooms are outdated, beds were very uncomfortable and itchy. Felt like sand and blankets were stained. Roaches in the bathroom, toilet and sink were both broken and rusted, floors felt gross and sticky. Had neighbors stomping and banging from 2 am-3 am.

The room was very clean except the shower curtain was about a foot too long and that part sat in the shower floor. It was nasty dirty. I spoke with Kensley at the front desk and she made it right. I really appreciated her helping me.

I didn’t like the fact the boards that we walk on were loose , the board right in front of the room we were staying in needed to replaced immediately .

The location was perfect! The staff were absolutely lovely. There is a lot that needs to be fixed and updated. The beds were clean and the pillows were soft. The old chairs needed to go. They were very stained. We were missing a curtain rod on one side so I had to put a sheet up. The trash can outside of our room was over flowing with trash. There were a few spots around the room that weren’t cleaned. I’m glad I brought Clorox wipes! The pictures on the website do not match the actual rooms.

Loose outlet at North bed side table, wall void around bath closet electrical. Chemically staggering albino German and cold American expected. No breakfast offered . No housekeeping was done. Not enough towels for 3 people. The bathroom had a wicker stand that was dusty. No closet in the room. The floors were gritty. Bathroom vanity in bad shape. No coffee pot. One wall socket cover was loose. There was an iron in the room, but no iron.

The gentleman that was at the front desk was absolutely amazing. He help me prior to our arrival. We were getting on late so he went above and beyond to help me. Had an amazing conversation this the next morning. I wish I had his name. But the room was clean. Yes there were some run do parts but bed was nice and I will stay there again. Mostly due to this gentleman. Also the room fit our needs as well.

Sounded like domestic disputes all night. First night an intoxicated male tried to open our door. Second night lots of banging and arguing. Someone banged on our door after midnight. Nobody was there when I checked. No deadbolts on doors. We had to block the door with furniture. Last time staying here.

Really enjoyed my stay - the only change I would make (and it may have been only my room) would be to put it a larger bathroom vanity. The pedestal is pretty but not functional!! There’s nowhere to put your stuff when getting ready in the morning!!

The decor was fun on the exterior of the property. But there was a ton of mold in the bathroom and the bathroom sink had two huge cracks in it. The bedroom was nice. It is just a bed and a Tv and a small table. The bed was a good mattress though.

This Hotel is an older one that has had some restoration. It isn’t a 5 star by any means but the location to the Beach, Restaurants, and gift shops is just perfect! Very affordable and the front office staff is helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay like always. This is one of my top picks each time I book @Tybee. Cant beat the location and I have always felt very safe. Ms.Susan and staff are so friendly and helpful. I only wish that they offered a frequent customer discount for locals as i am already booked again for June.

The staff were polite and informative. I enjoyed hearing about the history of the inn and surrounding area. We loved our room and it had all the comforts of home to us. We definitely recommend you stay at Atlantis Inn on your next trip to beautiful Tybee Island!

Overall good stay. The door on my room was hard to open and close. No coffee pot and the room smelled like bleach upon arrival. Great location.

We found a room on the day of our trip, unplanned, and they accepted dogs. It's a cute little inn about a block away from the beach and restaurants. The staff was lovely to interact with, and it was a peaceful, easy stay. Would highly recommend this location.

The room was ok.... But for the price well below average. We rented a family suite with bunk beds... The support for the bunkbed pulled straight out of the wall.... Pillows were stained and dirty. There was a chair in the room that looked as if it had been outside for a long time prior. Sun damaged dirty looking cushion. Couch was dirty. Wall are very thin can hear all conversations from the neighbor. Over all it was ok but to me not worth the price. Doubt I'll stay here again.

It was the absolute worst. We were staying here for our honeymoon and after a 12 hr drive I rushed to the room to use the restroom and didn’t turn on the light. My husband walks in turns on the light and there were roaches on the floor. I jumped up so quick but then realized that the toilet didn’t work and no running water.

No good way to block the sides of the window curtains so if you where outside you could still see in and because we couldn’t close the door privacy was seriously compromised

This was a great, affordable, place for our family of 5 to stay overnight. Easy walk to the beach. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The place was a little run down, but clean, and the hosts were so kind and welcoming!

This was a great, affordable, place for our family of 5 to stay overnight. Easy walk to the beach. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The place was a little run down, but clean, and the hosts were so kind and welcoming!

Overall the stay was good. The hotel definitely needs some renovations. You can't tell it's older. The staff is amazing, extremely friendly and the proximity to the beach is great. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for a quick weekend getaway with the family.

For what we paid, the room was fine. It was very spacious with a separate bedroom off of the kitchen and living room. The lock to the front door is an old school bedroom lock and the window to the bedroom opened right up (no screen) to the ground level. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better. The location was great with a lot of bars, restaurants and shops in a walkable area. Again, for the cost, we would stay there again.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and other people that were there, when I was. Nice area lots of business close by, and beach area all within walking distance.

Disappointing. Room was not cleaned properly. The bathroom sink had serious damage to it. Toilet was old and falling apart. The floor was sticky and grimey. The blinds didnt work property and the air conditioning was so loud it woke me up every time it automatically kicked in.

Nice place to stay due to location. Staff is very friendly. TV was outdated and would go black and only play sound (room 1). Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Will continue to stay here though.

The room was out dated and small. Old style blinds with no privacy curtains on the ground level room. Toilet was not secured to the floor so it leaked. The drain for the shower backed up. Extremely limited parking. Parking spots not big enough for a full size truck.

Remodeled room was nice but entry was in the ally beside hotel so felt a bit sketchy. No pool on site and hot tub was not in public area however in certain rooms only.

This place was very clean, quiet, convenient location and affordable. Will stay there again!

Great quiet place

The room was great. Front desk service was amazing. However, the bathroom was not so clean. There were globs of hair in the shower and the toilet wasn’t “clean”.

Stayed one night at the Atlantis Inn and it was the perfect location for our trip to Tybee. One block to the beach and all the restaurants/bars/shopping. Sue at the front desk helped us resolve an issue with our reservation and was super helpful during our stay. The rooms were simple but clean and cute. Parking was free with our stay so it made it super convenient to walk around the beach area. We would def stay here again. Thank you for a great night at the Atlantis.

My MOST favorite thing I found at my first time staying here was the concierge/receptionist, Mrs. Susan, as she made EVERYTHING worth while! As there isn't much to say that is negative about this place in consideration, Mrs. Susan is and will always be the reason for my stay! The room I had was very modern/up to date, clean, and convenient! I will be back!

Very nice, old school style hotel A

This is my 2nd stay. It was a pleasure both times. Ms.Susan is so very pleasant and answered any questions that we had. I felt very safe during my stay. The only suggestion that I have is an onsite ice machine. I will be back again.

Bathroom is a shambles. Curtains let in too much light. There was a 1000 watt bulb just outide. Night was like day. Internet didnt work. They blamed carrier. No staff after 10pm. Ac wouldnt turn off on auto. Sucked in warm air. I left as soon as garbage truck woke me even though i had nowhere to be.

It was clean and spacious but it looked old and dated.

Very nice older hotel. Noisy with tailgaters right outside the doors 24/7. Great location!

The facility is very old, typical low end beach unit. Faucet was loose, shower was large, rusty fixtures. Bed was reasonable, furnishings were ad hoc.

Close to the Beach

The property and room were something of a low budget motel where you go to if you can’t find anywhere else and just have no choice however, sleeping in your vehicle might prove to be just as comfortable as this place. I’m not sure how they managed to have as high as a rating as they did but this place did not earn it. Even after checking in, parking was another issue due to the limited amount of space they had for parking. The final straw was when I went to the room, which looked like a scene from any low budget motel sex scene, I found a bed bug in my bed. I grabbed my things and left immediately, going to the office to report my findings. The lady at the front desk was shown I picture of what I saw crawling on the bed and said it wasn’t a bed bug. Whatever it was, it was enough for me to leave and not look back. This hotel claimed they were not able to give refunds right away but gave me a number to call. I called the number and so far I haven’t gotten anyone on the phone. I ended up booking a room with Hotel Tybee. This place is a very nice and highly recommended hotel.

First of all, the price with discount was perfect! Humane... Has free parking which is among the best thing for such a busy vacation spot that the beach's public parking was filled by 11am on Saturday. The reception miss also let us park for a few hours after check out so we could have lunch before leaving Tybee Island! 👌👍😘

We visited friends staying at a house nearby until late in the evening. Tried to get some sleep but ended up leaving at 2:45am because of the musty smell and dirty conditions. Do not go off of any positive reviews saying this place is clean or special in any way. Because it’s not. We thought this place might be the best option since we were only staying one night and not going to spend a lot of time there. Boy were we wrong!!
