Convient, easy to park, a bit old looking. Worked for 1 night.

Refrigerator in room did not work, and the safe was inoperable. Housekeeping came into the room even though “Do not disturb” sign was clearly placed on the door—my biggest pet peeve. Even so, staff is generally friendly.

Our stay was good. The room was kinda small. No elevator and phone in room. No breakfast or ice. But a quick in and out stay was ok. Rooms look like it was shown. Not bad.

The inn was very nice! Great value for the money! The lack of elevator was a bit frustrating. The only thing I was displeased with was there was no continental breakfast served despite that being listed on the booking and websites.

SIDE NOTE THE DIM BATHROOM LIGHT AT NIGHT WHICH IS A SECOND SWITCH ON THE WALL IS THE BEST. Keep up the good work guys and gals your doing a great job.

The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. I arrived early and just asked if I could park my car there until check in. They said my room was ready and let me check in early! Everything was neat and clean. All the hotels on Tybee Island are many years old but this one had been remodeled and was in good shape.

There were also only 2 hooks in the entire room to hang anything up, despite being a hotel near the beach, where towels and bathing suits need to be dried. There is ample wall space to add additional hooks for hanging wet clothes/towels up. The water fill station and coffee station are a nice touch. We enjoyed these amenities. We also enjoyed the photo op near the pool. Super cute! The hotel is in a great location to the beach, food, and shops! We were able to check in about an hour early, which was nice since we drove 8 hours to get there.

Air conditioning and shower was great. Room was quiet, not a lot of outside noise. Could not use television without entering our own information. No workable USB ports for charging devices.

The staff is amazing, every single one of them! The beds were clean, the floors were filthy, the bathroom doesn’t have ventilation and smells like mildew, and the hallway smelled like the no smoking rule was just recently implemented. I didn’t complain about the cleanliness and smoke smell since I was barely there. I would not recommend for a longer stay or a stay where you want to spend more time at the property. Parking is great and it’s a short walk to the beach from the property.

Location, parking is difficult in the island but the location is close to everything that we just walk where we want to go.

The admiral Inn is a fairly nice Older motel. It’s two floors there’s no elevator so it’s all steps. The pool is older but fair nothing fancy there’s coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. You’re right near everything not on the beach side but just across the street and it’s a short walk to the pier, etc. I would probably give it 3 1/2 stars out of five. The staff was OK some of the front desk, people were more into their phone than they are into the customers other than that it’s a good place to stay.

Location to the south part of the island. Plenty of free parking. Relatively clean rooms. Pool was nice and quiet most of the time. Everything is grey. It feels a little dreary. No elevator which is a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of stuff.

We had a car accident on the way (no injuries) and Dean at the hotel was very accommodating and patient. He also showed a lot of concern and was very helpful.

This was a great place to stay! Nice updates throughout the building. Pretty landscaping and so close to the beach. will definitely return!

Cecilia was fantastic with check in and so accommodating. The hotel was clean and relatively quiet. They had access to water for the beach bum parade. I will definitely stay here again.

This was my 2nd time staying here. Was here around the same time the prior year, and the room served its purpose. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and decent shower. It’s also so close to everything, just walking distance. Staff is very friendly and outgoing, that I would stay here again if ever in the area!

The site is misleading, we were under the impression the hotel was on the beach It’s actually on the Main Street which is busy. Walking to the beach is about 8 minutes but if you’re carrying chairs and coolers it’s not ideal. You can walk to restaurants and neighborhoods from the hotel. Location was on a busy street. No hooks in bathroom

Notified the desk that we had arrived earlier than expected and were intending to park there and walk around till check in time. They completed the check in and called me early when the room was ready. Our room was comfortable and clean. One block from the beach with shops and restaurants in walking distance for older people. Lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

The manager was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean but the headboards showed wear, water pressure was low in shower, and the outdoor pool was not clean. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and location. A budget-friendly option a short stay.

The vinyl headboards were terribly worn. The freezer compartment of mini refrigerator didnt have a door so my food froze and had to throw out produce. The outlet next to bed was not secured in socket and filthy. When i shared feedback with receptionist at checkout, she said she would note it but made zero apology.

Free parking was a big plus with parking on TI costing $48 per day. Only a few blocks from the beach and a short drive to Savannah, this was a great location.

At first glance, the place has a decent exterior. The staff was very kind, especially the receptionist when we arrived—she was very friendly. Everything was very easy when it came to checking in. The rooms are renovated, but not very clean. When you walk on the floor with socks, they turn black from how dirty it is. Make sure to check the sheets before settling in, because ours had stains near the foot of the bed, around the fold of the mattress. It’s a very quiet place we went during the low season. The pool was clean and a bit warm, a little small, but since there weren’t many people, it was more than enough for my husband and me. Would I book another room at that hotel again? If there were no other options, I would, but if I had better choices, I’d pass on the opportunity to stay there, mainly because the room we stayed in was not very clean.

We had a room with a sofa bed. We had no pillows and there were no extras. I didnt catch the guys name running the front Saturday night Aprill 11th but he went out of his way to get us pillows from a sister hotel of theirs. He went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more appreciative. Its the little things and he did a big one for us! We liked everything!

The “heated” pool wasn’t heated and was completely covered. When we asked the staff to take the cover off, they gave us attitude stating that the pool was closed. When we pointed out that it was 6pm and the pool was supposed to be open.

The room was really run down. The beds and headboards are in poor shape. The noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway was disruptive, especially while trying to rest after a long day of travel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however, we won't be returning, just based on the condition of the room and the building.

Great great location blocks from the Tybee Pavilion and Tybrisa St Beach entry. I stayed here for the half marathon and couldn't have picked a better spot half a block from the starting line and two blocks from the finish!

The front desk staff was excellent. Always kind and pleasant. The room was not as clean as I would have liked. There was hair on my bathroom floor around the toilet area and on my sink when we arrived. The tv remote was sticky, felt grimy. The place was quiet, perfect location and not too big. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. I would not stay there again unless they did a few upgrades. We are not the type of people to complain so I just kept my shoes on in the room. I was comfortable to walk around without them.

Parking was easy and the beach was only a block away. Front desk staff greeted me nicely. Room and bathroom were not very clean. Heater was old, but worked well. The bed was on a metal framed box with a board under the mattress. It was a very HARD mattress and so were most of the pillows. The headboard was newer but already showing worn spots. The shower looked new and fancy, but was missing half of the glass door and had a dirty, slick floor. A shower curtain replaced the missing door, but was about 6 inches too short. This allowed water to get on the floor. The "rain" shower head was nice, but couldn't get the handheld part to work. Also, the vent in the bathroom didn't work. Biggest complaint I have is the noise from doors constantly being slammed shut all evening. If you didn't guide the door gently closed it just slammed. I will not return.

This hotel is in a great location that made our visit completely walkable. The rooms were super clean and modern. But what stood out the most was the friendly and helpful front desk staff. I really appreciated their kind interactions.

Room 102 is very noisy due to the vending machines talking..plus the door isn’t fitted correctly in the frame, which allows noise to enter the room. Otherwise it’s ok for an overnight stay.

Overall, it was a good stay for the 3 nights we were there. The island does not have any chain hotels; only small, local hotel businesses. We enjoyed that we were walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the beach which is exactly what we wanted for our vacation. Our room was nicely renovated and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the shower was missing part of the door which made for a mess in the bathroom with water all over the place. It also looked like it had been taken off its hinges. We asked two separate staff members if this was normal to not have this part of the shower..one said yes and one said no. We never really knew but it was odd. Staff was informative of the area and kind.

We did have a problem with the air conditioner as it sounded like a jet plane taking off when it cut on and also difficult trying to program We complained and they offered to change our room but they were going to have it serviced so we decided not to change rooms but I don’t think they did service it so in hindsight we should’ve changed rooms

Chairs needs to be recovered. No racks to hang towels on to dry. No soft light for when you first get up in the morning.

The was the best “GIRLS TRIP “ ever. Everyone was so polite and friendly. Even when we were at the sport bars, everyone was just so kind. We definitely enjoy our stay.

When I walked into the room it smelled like mold. The headboard was all scratched off. The tv remote was sticky i wrapped a napkin around it then went to turn it on the tv didn’t work, went to the front desk all she said “maybe the batteries are dead no the lights coming on. Idk check the back of the tv sometimes people unplug it”!!! They don’t have hair conditioner I forgot mine went to the front desk nope.

Room was flooded after rain storm by A/C unit. Could not get another room because one was not available till they had some clean it. A/C did not work well at all. Muggy in room most of night. Poor sleep.

The people helping were great! Front desk was great. It was very clean . Few things…. The ac unit had a very bad leak under it and water was coming out. The sink underneath leaked some water . The rain shower had some of the holes not working. Also… may want to have softer pillows. They were very hard . But all in all… a nice stay.

Our rooms were not cleaned properly. We found the pool area dirty and in disarray as well. The location is great. Luckily we were there for one night trying to break up a longer roadtrip. We would be visiting a different hotel next time!

This is in a great location. Room was clean the furniture was a little scratched up but that was not a issue for us. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was Very Hot for it to be June, its heated. My mother in law loved it though. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel itself was newly renovated and very nice looking. The floors in the room were very dusty/hairy/sandy when we arrived though. The beds felt like styrofoam. The AC unit was dreadful as there was no in between setting- either freezing cold dry air or muggy and burning up if it’s off. The windows didn’t open so no fresh air could be let in, which sucked. The noise level was HORRID. Could hear every sound in the hallway, people in their rooms talking, coughing, watching TV etc. the water in the shower also didn’t ever really get hot, just like warm.

We were there for the Beach bum parade and they were nice tonlet our kids use the jose to fill their water guns and let our family use the conference room to eat together (we were in 3 different rooms. My only complaint is since we reserved 3 rooms I thought theybwould put all our rooms together.

The hotel is aged but has some updates. Toilet had issue our entire stay. Had to use the one in the main lobby. The pool wasnt the cleanest either. However, the staff was very kind. I'd likely stay elsewhere if I was to revisit Tybee Island.

Issue with room being on 2nd floor. They tried to push us off to another hotel they own and it was not in great condition (blood on wall, smelled like urine). We opted not to stay at either location and drove 4 hours home. I will never book again. Pictures are deceiving.

Rita at the reception and the housekeeping were very friendly i forgot her name but very good service, if you want a easy parking, and great area this is the hotel you need.

Hotel has no elevator so if you're staying anywhere but the first floor, you're carrying your luggage up flights of stairs. One staff member in particular ignores phone calls. I tried to contact the front desk to notify them of late check-in. No answer for 2 hours. We get there only to see this front desk staff member ignore phone calls. Found someone's hair on our bath towels. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is my second experience booking with this service, and I am quite pleased with the outcome. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. One team member went out of their way to assist me by providing a walker, as I had unfortunately suffered a foot injury. I will certainly consider booking with them again in the future.

The pool needs cleaning but everything else was awesome!

Checked in late, easy friendly check in. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Only stayed one night, middle of the week so it was quiet and peaceful.

Floor in our room was filthy. No phones in the room.

Nice place and nice people

Loved most everything about hotel. Staff is amazing and went above and beyond when my tv would not work. Pool is small and clean but loved it. So close to the beach and cute shops. Did not like that housekeeping does not clean room everyday or give more towels unless you ask. Did not like sleeping in the same Sandy sheets all week. But.... would stay here again.

Room condition was poor. Couch was worn and toilet paper dispenser .

Great location!

Property was clean and staff friendly. The upholstered chair in our room was very worn. Made us not want to sit on it. We could see that it has been updated but would have replaced bathroom door and vanity as they looked like the original ones.

This Inn was in a great location, close to the beach and pier as well as shops and restaurants.

We were there tuesday to saturday and they never went in to clean our room/garbage. Never brought clean sheets or towels either. Picking a different hotel next time. The building was clean though, and pool was nice and heated.

Staff was very helpful. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. We were able to walk to everything. The huge shower was a plus after getting home from the beach. The heated pool was wonderful!!!

Good place to stay for a one or two day visit

This was a cute place to stay for the night. Even a few nights would have been good. Walking distance to all the shops, dining and the pier as well as the beach. This place could use some minor room updates but other was a nice place

It has been recently updated and is overall worth the money. The beds are not the best; but, they are fine for a limited stay.

We had never been to Tybee Island before and had no idea what to expect. We only came for the beach. I booked this location because it was close to the beach and cheap. Way better than expected! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were closer to everything than I thought we would be. Note: no elevator or free breakfast, but walkable to shops, restaurants, and beach so still totally worth it. Highly recommend!

This Hotel is very clean and friendly. Location is great to where you can walk to the peir or shops on Tybee. I would definitely stay here again. There is personal opinions of mine. Wish it had breakfast which it doesn't. As well only stairs no elevators if you got a room upstairs. Other than that excellent hotel.

No elevator. Had to carry all the luggage up stairs. Got up the stairs and room key didn’t work twice. Front desk just gave us another room after the third trip down the stairs. Very noisy. Rock hard beds and pillows. We were booked for two nights. Only stayed one.

The customer service is exception, the rooms are nice/clean, and the location is perfect.

The room was very nice and updated. I loved the rain shower head. The only problem was that the walls were pretty thin and the neighbors were quite loud.

Great location for walking to just about everything, including a variety of restaurants. Right across the street from the beach and pier. Some of the furniture is a little dated and worn but that didn't bother us. The room was still very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
