Clean room, friendly staff, very bad breakfast

Great hotel and friendly staff. Would stay again.

We arrived early due to coming from a cruise. The staff was so accommodating and made it seem less for us to get out and go explore Seattle with our luggage safe. We ate dinner and breakfast here as well. Food was good and service was top notch. The facilities are nicely cared for and the stay was amazing. Overall the best hotel experience I've had in a long time.

It was a perfect location for our one night stay and the hotel was very pleasant. It was an excellent value - even the breakfast was included and it did look nice but sadly we didn't have time to stay. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful place to stay ! friendly staffs

It was very conveniently located surrounded by stores and restaurants. It was fun to be up on a tall floor to be able to look out over the area. The beds were a bit too soft for my liking but everyone else slept well on the bed.

Very clean and comfortable bed! Staff was very helpful. Be prepared to look for parking if you go out in the evening as the lot is always full but we did find a spot.

We booked this location a 2nd time just for the breakfast! Great location (close to so many things). The only challenge is that parking can be tricky if the hotel is really full due to limited parking spaces.

It was loud during our stay in the hotel. It’s past midnight and you can still hear people talking, banging their doors. Otherwise, the hotel is clean.

When I had a sudden change of plans, they allowed my friend who I was traveling with check in so that they had a room since I was arriving much later than anticipated. It was a huge help and greatly appreciated!! Hotel was clean and a great price.

Lots of things to do in the surrounding blocks. Great mall and indoor skydiving facility nearby too!

The service was friendly and ready to help. The parking lot was actually fine, but coming from a rural area I wasn't used to fitting into smaller spaces. However, my Nissan Rogue fit in quite well and everyone else seemed unbothered by it. They were just happy they had free parking.

As always, Hotel Interurban has delivered a clean, well stocked, and comfortable experience. And… the room I had this trip had blackout curtains! Staff, including security, are always very polite, professional, and helpful. They make me feel… at home in the best way possible. I cannot recommend them enough.

We had to book at the last minute and everything went smoothly. We were greeted by very friendly and professional staff (Mohammad). The room was spacious and we were very pleased with the location. We had breakfast all four days and the service and the food was excellent. The women who worked during breakfast were helpful and kind. We will definitely stay here again. (We flew here from Switzerland for a family wedding). On the night of May 15, the second night of our 4 night stay we were woken at 230am by the neighbors with loud voices and music. At 330am we could smell cigarette and marijuana smoke. I called to reception and they had security speak with the neighbors (we shared a door). It seemed to calm down. The next morning at 8am we smelled smoke again and we called reception. We were told that there wasn't anything more that could be done except move our room. We did not wish to move. They said if the guests next door decided to stay another night we could move our room. They decided not to extend their stay so we did not have to move- this was disappointing that management would handle it that way. Finding parking each evening was challenging.

Rocio at the restaurant, Rendition, was super nice and kind. Really liked her style!

My husband and I loved this property. We had never stayed. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. We got checked in so fast and we were in our room in no time. They had a great breakfast as well. Our room was very nice, loved how clean the bathroom was. Also no CARPETS!

Amazing stay! Needed one night after a late night flight and not wanting to drive after getting in at 2am. Staff was absolutely amazing. Hotel was great-- beds clean, property had ample parking, breakfast was great. Great for flying in and out of SEATAC or even commuting to Seattle (Timed it the next morning--17 mins to downtown). 100 percent will stay again, and highly recommend.

This is my spot in Seattle. The restaurant has some delicious food. The beds are comfy. Easy access airport and the highways. The staff always welcoming and friendly.

Room was clean, a couple cosmetic flaws which made the luxury feeling dia a little. But other than that pretty satisfying experience.

10/10 definitely recommend.. Michelle at the front was so sweet ! She made my stay so comfortable . Made me feel at home . The location is perfect if you want to be close to the city but don’t want to pay the city prices . Great food and happy hour . The pool was cool but the gym was not what I expected the treadmills were out for my whole stay so that was a bummer housekeeping was extremely helpful. I actually feel bad rating this as low as i did but since one man's behavior made us decide we will never stay there again i suppose the rating is fair. There was a gentleman working the evening shift Saturday night who was a real a$$####! We got back from a day out exploring and dinner and the parking situation was terrible. You mean you pay $20 for parking and there are not enough spots? We drove around the building twice with no luck finding a spot so we came back to the front to park in a valet only spot. Just as we were about t i get out an employee pulled out of another spot so we parked there but it had a sign for the coffee place only. So we went inside and were trying to explain this to him but he just wanted to argue saying there were 55 spots available. No they were all occupied but he continued. This man needs to leave customer service. Other than that everyone was nice and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was nice in the morning too. If he were gone I'd go back otherwise. Good luck I'm sure he will cost this hotel more business!

Really enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was great. The rooms were very nice. We lived that they had a fenced dog area. The only things negative I could even say are really just personal preference, for me the pillows were way too thick, I woke up with numbness in my hands from pinching nerves in my neck. Since they had 4 pillows on the bed it would have been nice to have had two slim pillows and two thick ones so as to accommodate more guest needs. But the bed was very comfortable outside of that. The rooms heating and cooling system was pretty loud. If you like a fan on when you sleep then you’ll live it, it was a bit loud for me. These are really minor things and overall I would stay here again as long as I brought my own pillows, lol.

Great location with easy access to interstate for my commute to Seattle, and at a MUCH better hotel rate than Seattle. Parking at the hotel plus the Convention Center was still cheaper than parking at one of the major hotels downtown Seattle. I highly recommend staying here if you like something away from the expensive hubbub of downtown.

Location is perfect. Close to SEATAC, the best Pacific island restaurant called Pasifika NW, and shopping! They provide complimentary robes for you while you’re there. Room is always clean but I find the towel racks to always be loose, mostly cosmetic. I do wish there were blackout curtains. The coffee shop in the building has a variety of delicious options. Front desk staff, housekeeping, and security are ALWAYS so helpful. Feels extremely safe. Parking might be an issue… but I’ve been extremely fortunate with the help of the night security personnel. Seriously GREAT service here! Great people.

This was our first time in Seattle, and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything we wanted to do.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was great and answered any questions I had in a timely fashion. The free breakfast buffet had some variety, but could have used a few more selections, i.e waffles, toast, bagels, and more fruit. My room was clean and the location was great, and close to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is fine, but I likely will not recommend. The room was clean, the staff is nice. My issue is the room itself. I stayed in #602 and I suggest management try out that room for the night to see what I mean. The room window faces a garage that has BRIGHT lights on all night. It wouldn't be an issue if the blackout blinds actually blocked out the light. There are also two VERY BRIGHT green lights between the beds, under the side table that add to the light in the room at night. Add that to the blinking green light on the wall. I didn't sleep well for both nights we were there. There is also damage in the hardwood floors between the beds that we kept stepping on. And an electrical issue with the tall lamp, it would randomly turn off, then on, then off, then on... we joked it was haunted. Lastly the shower curtain - it's too short for the rod and the curtain kept popping open on both sides so there was no privacy. We wanted to like this hotel but sadly we didn't. Maybe we just had the worst room in the hotel, who knows.

Really convenient location, staff was superb, very attentive and took care really well of my family. I didn't knew of this hotel and found them by chance, however, they'll become our got to every time we are around the area. Traveled with my 2 kids (11 and 7) and my dog.

Breakfast was awesome the first day. Lots of options for all food types. Day 2 not so much-biscuits and gravy, chicken sausages, fruit, eggs. I had lots of eggs and fruit lol. The staff that we dealt with was awesome. The high light of our stay We probably will book elsewhere because of the extra parking fees. $40 extra for two days! The hotel was decent but the $40 dollar fee made it not worth it. We have stayed at nicer hotels for less in the area.

The room was very clean and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Had dinner and a drink with friends at Rendition; the food was so delish and the spicy mango margarita was the best drink I've had in a while. Breakfast the following morning was veey decent and the staff made sure I had everything I wanted

This hotel was nice, clean and relatively convenient to other things in the area. We picked it because it was sleek looking, had a morning coffee shop that opens at 6am and the restaurant. We did have dinner and drinks there and it was nice.

I was not sure what to expect but this was one of my better stays. Conveniently located and newer hotel. The staff were friendly, restaurant had good meals/great drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options and included in cost of stay. I did not use the pool but it looked nice, if a bit small. Coffee at coffee shop was good and nice to have when heading out for day. The beds were literally heavenly and so soft. I slept so sound the entire time. Noise was very limited. The exec chair was comfy too! Loved it. My only complaint was parking. One night was booked and we had to park on very top level of a nearby parking garage (apartment complex) and go down many flights of stairs in the dark and cold after a long day. Charging $20 a night for parking and not having adequate parking spaces for guests is why I gave 4 stars and not 5. However, this is a great hotel and would definitely stay again! Love the beds!!

It took days to hear back regarding my complaint about the construction noises on the floor above. We really liked the evening restaurant & the cleaning staff & the room was very clean. The bed was ridiculously comfortable thank you for that as it is my number one priority. I would have liked to know that there was a huge electrical panel serving the whole floor & beyond when we rented the corner unit. Thanks!

Paid parking; very disappointing! One night, we came back to the hotel about 9:30; no parking available. We were told to park across the street. Then look after a wedding party starting leaving around 10. I couldn’t get a hotel spot until around 10:30.

Parking should be for free! Not an easy place to park, I recommend to park at the front or side streets.

The driveway/parking situation is chaotic and as such super unsafe insofar as vehicular burglars. The room smelled like the bathtub was filled to the brim with bleach — despite opening the window, turning on the fan to circulate air, etc. — and it really didn’t fade. There was also significant damage to the floor (about 1’ x 8’ gouge out of a “wood” plank) — it was super sharp and dangerous. The breakfast was clean and the staff lovely, but the food was meh at best — free is all I would pay it. Overall, the staff wow’d us for sure, but the maintenance team needs an influx of funds for repairs and the kitchen needs a much bigger budget for the breakfast!

We have only checked in and enjoyed settling in but the space is better than expected! Very well decorated, and dressed for the holidays. Rooms are cozy, spacious, and have the right amenities. Parking is a little limited but there is a private event going on so that is not normal.

Would of liked more options for breakfast and the staff at front desk would be more welcoming with a smile. Be more open to oir questions. Also Our floor had noisey people and kids up very late and loud. As for the rooms it was my favorite part. Nice view and clean would've liked a microwave im the room. Other then that it was good.

The reception service was excellent. However the restaurant service was not the best experience. First, the person who sat us, took our drink order but never brought it to us. Even after we came back from the buffet line we watched her take beverages to a group that came in much after we arrived. I literally had to go ask for the coffee and water. Second, we later asked the same person for another plate and she NEVER brought it. We saw her engaged in a prolonged conversation with two customers seated at the bar like they were her family and were astonished by the lack of professionalism. I finally asked to speak to the manager and informed her of my concerns. She told us that this was the girl’s first day. It doesn’t matter, I’m pretty sure that the corporate leaders wouldn’t want someone they hire to ignore the basic requests of customers and choose to engage in prolonged conversations with other customers instead of working. So this is why I gave the Interurban Hotel less than 5 stars.

I told lady at front desk. She was very sweet and said new room or come and clean. I explained we threw all our stuff down, running late for daughter birthday appointment and wed have to take the clean. I thought that solidified it all. When we returned late late the room hadn't been touched!

The room was surprisingly clean and we loved that. Convenient parking, sometimes crowded so limited parking. Dining at the restaurant was great. However breakfast morning was 0 stars. You cant take breakfast to your room and to add the older waitress there is SO SO RUDE. 2 mornings in a row. She did not attend us at all. Brought the breakfast, threw it on the table and walked away. Didnt give us a chance to order our drinks. That woman should not be working there if she hates attending customers so much. By the way, it was a slow morning, very little people both mornings.

Beds are a little beat up, floor boards loose causing possible slipping/falling, terrible parking very limited and small spaces. Staff is amazing, bar great, kinda odd breakfast was questionable but dinner was delicious.

Great location near a mall, lots of dining and shopping nearby, very walkable. Excellent breakfast with a nice patio. Hotel is nice and modern but we found that noise travels in into the room from the hallway. Airport shuttle not provided.

Great stay until departure breakfast. The server was clearly not impressed with “voucher” customers. Sat people ahead of us and argued that our ticket was for next day (she had the day wrong). Embarrassed us.

Convenient

Bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in a hotel. Breakfast was great. Lots of options. Staff was super nice and helpful.

This is a large hotel, so was very active, but our floor was completely silent. It is a very modern looking hotel, and everything felt really clean. The parking was a little difficult because we got there late, but managed to find a place! We needed to be in a convenient area for the airport that wasn’t the same hotels we have used in the past, and this is one I would use again.

To see in the dark and rain. More troubling was at breakfast. A couple who were probably not fluent in English walked into the restaurant (there was no wait they were going to be the next to be seated). The server shook his finger at them and walked them back to the sign: please wait to be seated. He then proceeded to try and seat us before them. That was very rude and humiliating for the couple I’m sure. The selection of items at breakfast was small but the quality was actually quite good. They were out of yogurt and didn’t seem to be in any hurry to replenish at all. On the positive side the bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. And the bartender in the evening for cocktails at the restaurant was personable and professional.

I would stay here again. The morning breakfast buffet was very good.

It was clean

The room was good, a few stains on the walls but the bed was comfy and clean, extra blanket and pillow in the closet which was a giant plus for us since normally you have to ask. The complimentary breakfast was a huge plus as we had to drive back to spokane after. Overall the property was clean, safe feeling ( we opted to not stay in Tacoma) kinda frustrating to pay for parking on top of the room but spaces were limited. The staff were fantastic! Front check in girls were very helpful and happy and enjoyed hearing about our even we were in town for. I would stay here again. One thing though is laminate floors in the rooms…. Makes it cold and louder. I get it for cleaning purposes but it made it feel less cozy and warm, and made it loud when my husband or I would get up to to use the restroom.

The room was perfectly clean, well decorated and comfy bed! All good!

This is a beautiful hotel in a safe area next to a large mall. The rooms were spacious and had lots of storage. Rooms were clean and had plenty of plush towels. We will stay here again

Good location to stay when visiting Seattle and you don’t want to stay in town. Lots of places to eat and things to do. Staff at hotel was lovely, and the fresh breakfast buffet was great!

The rooms were tidy and cozy. The continental breakfast was plentiful and well put together. We were pleased with our short overnight stay. Checked in at 11:00PM and left at 11:00AM, so slept and ate breakfast. Friendly Staff and welcoming area.

A couple of things for this hotel, It was very nice and clean etc.... The "free" breakfast each morning was very very very limited... 1 small bowl of overripe watermelon on the buffet every day, no other fruit, one hot choice daily, and not that great. No cereal, no choices of toast, very very limited. The property charges you to park $15 PER day, on top of the room charges you already paid. And not even a bottle or 2 of water in your room or at check in. These things really made the trip blah. Again, hotel was nice and clean... but feel like the "free" breakfast is something they don't want to do based on what is "available" and the parking charges, and not even a bottle of water at check in or in the room, which is pretty standard these days, gave an impression of lack of care/service to their customers.

everything is excellent! staffs, facility, safety, surroundings, i just didn’t like one thing, they have ice in individual plastic which I think is unsanitary to put in your drinks.

I like this hotel, however it was pretty basic. The one thing that could be improved is the breakfast buffet. It was not very hygenic or clean. Flies around the pastries and fruit. All of the tables had dirty dishes on them while attendants just stiod behind the bar. Buffet hot plate items where near empty. Front desk staff was friendly. I could hear the person in the next room,so the walls were thin too.

The check in was simple. Location is great, close to shopping and food. Staff was super helpful and pointed us to the bus stop and info on how to get downtown and back. Best way to travel to town is by bus. Rooms are well appointed and super clean and quiet. Close to the airport as well. Free breakfast

I came here for business via a concert and they were the best priced for the quality line i wanted. I can't tell you how much the three of us loved our stay. So much so that we plan on coming back for an event this holiday season for a week with our whole families. ❤️ Priced better than Holiday Inn, feels like the Hilton.

The building is beautiful! Great area, parking kind of is bad but the lobby and rooms were great. Unfortunately when checking in it really sets the rest of thw time. My husband and I were checking in and the person chexking us in asked "you know this is only 1 bed right?" My husband and I looked at each other and said yes. The person checking us in looked at us and said "oh ok." Just a bit surprised coming from an area like Southcenter. Felt like a same sex married couple felt a bit out of place.

I give this a 2/5. The cleanliness wasnt good, the room smelled like people had been there and unclean, they gave me a room conjoined even though i paid 300$ for a room that wasnt. All in all, i won't stay here again.

I would prefer a firmer mattress is possible and parking is kind of a pain if you come back late, but that's just the way the area was designed.

Breakfast was great, but the condition of our room was marginal, floor needed work, bathroom wall needs patching and painting.

Hotel and room were extremely clean and comfortable! Gym was decent and was able to get a couple of light workouts in. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent, nothing to write home about. The service was phenomenal though. We would definitely consider staying here again if we found ourselves in the Seattle area. Thanks for making our trip so great!

The staff was great, especially the hospitality manager. Front desk personnel were very helpful and worked with me when I had to change my plans. The bed was too soft for me, but I know you can't please everyone when it comes to bed softness and firmness.

Very clean and modern looking hotel, but the rooms were very boring. No art work on the walls..just very bland interior design. The hotel staff were not overly accommodating as they didn’t want to take our cash for snacks and said using a credit card would be easier for them.

It was very close to the airport, which made things much easier. The food and drinks at the main restaurant were very good. Staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Property location is convenient but the hotel needs may updates. Flooring is coming apart, scuffed with chunks missing. Pillows were stained. Bathroom needs updating. Ice is provided in bags inside a refrigerator. No drinking water in the room. Pool area is basic and old.

Excellent staff and good bar

I was locked out of my room late at night due to a malfunctioning door lock. After waiting for 30 minutes and seeking assistance, the only solution offered was to knock on the door and ask the people inside to open it, which was not acceptable or professional. This response showed a lack of proper support and accountability for basic guest safety and comfort.

Close to the mall and airport. Room was fantastic, beds were comfortable and very clean. Good food at the restaurant but expensive. Overall, great place and convenient location and easy access to highway as well.

It is an excellent hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The staff allowed us to check out late because I had a conference call. The breakfast is great. The food choices around the hotel are unbelievable. We do have to pay $15 for parking.

Good hotel option in SeaTac area.

I did not get the room I paid for and the receptionist told me upon arrival my room wasn’t ready and I would get an alert to when it was ready which never happened. It’s unfortunate and I will not be staying at this hotel anymore for my personal and business visits in the Seattle area due to this poor experience.

Clean and decent gym (had the basics).

The rooms are okay. Nothing spectacular. The parking is limited if you come in late and can be a bit far from the entrance. The area around the building also feels a little unsafe at night.

Also, Ms Erica was extraordinarily kind the next day when she asked housekeeping to check my room for my missing wedding ring, and then she went to double-check herself even after they said it wasn't there. I later found out that it was in my suitcase, but I appreciated her kindness and extra effort.

The property was good however the service was terrible. We had a late arrival into Seattle/Tacoma even though we had pre-paid well in advance of our travel. We arrived to the hotel at about 12:30 am on Saturday 7/19 but technically was booked for Friday 7/18. Upon our arrival, we were informed that our room was NOT ready and would have to wait in the lobby for about an hour while housekeeping prepared a room. I questioned why the room wasn’t ready since we booked to room to include the Friday. Their excuse was late departures caused this. I was not happy with their excuse but I was tired and did not want to look for other options and determined that I would discuss with the manager in the morning. We were finally allowed to access our room at 1:30 am and went to bed as we were exhausted for our travel. A few hours later, we were awaken by the fire alarm instructing everyone to exit the building. We went outside and waited for the instructions but no one from the hotel even bothered to go out and instructed guests that it was safe to return to our room. About 2 hours after the fire alarm went off, I decided to approached the front desk and asked when we could return to our rooms, the employee advised that the fire department had given the clearance long ago but they never said anything to the guests still waiting outside. If I ever return to Seattle, I will never book a night at this location ever again.

Unfortunately, the level of service and care provided fell far below the standards I expected from the place called the hotel big name right? Specifically, the check in process to hold myself and others to wait until 4pm to just check in. Just because of your policy.People sitting at the lobby for hours is this real courtesy? Huge room! Loved the location in reference to the ease of I-5 access. Free breakfast buffee was one of the best I've had at s hotel. The restaurant on-site Rendition has mini sugar covered doughnuts for purchase. Order them to go, take to your room, put on the complimentary bathrobe and eat them in bed with the carmel dipping sauce! Thank me later...

The bed was fantastic and the food and staff were great. A short trip from the airport - this hotel is a great choice.

No matter what I did (late July) the ac would not stay on at night so it got hot. The breakfast required handwritten tickets and the staff that wrote them out was ao rushed she got details wrong and some were illegible i had to have them rewritten. The dinner spot was Rendition and the location and menu were amazing. For breakfast they were confusing as it was a different seating arrangement with ticket collection 3 of 5 mornings and the menu was tasty and never changed. Oh this is also a 10 minute walk to the Southcenter Mall and its across the street from a restaurant supply place so you can buy bulk food for the room as there is a fridge. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel was amazing ! The parking was not good and they charged $15 for it and had to park very far in the back ! Breakfast buffet in the AM was nice but very small for choices - was very nice the mall and restaurants were all within walking distance . The Starfire sports complex was 5 mins from hotel made that nice for going back and forth for games .

This is a really nice hotel and I would recommend it. My overall rating was impacted by a 5 AM fire alarm that emptied all of the hotel patrons onto the street and parking lot. This was not at all the fault of the hotel, but impacted our experience so I must include it. I would go back!
