We’ve stayed at this property several times and it never disappoints. The Eddy has become our go-to hotel in Tucson.

Loved the area / neighborhood that the hotel was located. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Loved the decor / theme in the room. The AC was excellent - it was over 100° while we were visiting. The water pressure was great. The mattress was OK - a little hard for us and not very much cushion/padding. Great pillows - hotel pillows are usually flat and useless, these were actual pillows that you would purchase and use at your house.

Very good boutique style hotel a good restaurant/ bar and pool. Good location. Excellent breakfast though not included. My only disappointment was that there was no desk with chair in the room. I used a chair from the room’s balcony but I really missed having a desk and proper computer style adjustable chair which is typically standard in most hotels. One minor issue was on day of checkout - the room key would not open the door at 10:30am.

The stay at the property started out on a bad note. The staff person at the check in counter was both rude and uninviting. No smile, no Hello welcome. If I was the manager of the property, I would have fired him on the spot.

The staff entered in my room without permission. The air filter in the bathroom was too noisy. One person in the reception area was not attentive at all

We love staying here. Love the hotel layout. All staff great but a special shout out to susie who always goes above and beyond. She makes us feel well taken care of and welcomed. She is a true asset to your property. We will be back soon

I booked a king either on the pool or overlooking on second floor. Lanai picture showed balcony with cushioned bench. Our room was fine but faced the back parking lot, looking at garbage cans.

Conditions are great, hotel is kind of new, clean and the restaurant/bar is good. The staff from frontdesk was regular.

Room was fresh and serviced daily. Pool area was tidy with plenty of towels.

This hotel is fantastic. Rooms are always clean and fresh. Staff is polite and helpful. Beautiful views of the foothills. Restaurant has something for everyone. I have stayed here regularly for work over the last few months. Highly recommend it!

My favorite place to stay in Tucson when visiting the University area. Close enough to zip down to the U District, within walking distance of some great food, and close to the foothills. Staff is always great as well.

Hotel was close (about a half mile) from a good running/biking path but the first few blocks have no sidewalks on a very crowded road. Not too big a deal.

The hotel itself was nice, clean and staff was friendly. A few things that could improve would be housekeeping. I request towels even went down to the desk never received the extra set of towels I requested for my room. Second they had live music which is great but it was tight next to the elevator which echoed through the entire hotel. Maybe placing it away from the rooms would provide a more relaxing experience for the guests.

Bed was rock hard, windows do not open, either too hot or too cold in room due to horrible a/c system. Large gap in bottom of door let all the lobby noises in the room. Sadly that large gap appeared to be the only source of air circulation since the windows didn't open. I woke up choking for air when I did manage to sleep which wasn't for long.

New hotel with nods to the family who ran historic Eddy’s bakery for many years (lot of photos everywhere and some memorabilia displays). Food was tasty, but they close the kitchen when they want to, not when the website says. Staff are hard to find if you try to check in late (9pm) or order food. Other than that, its what you expect from a new hotel - nice clean rooms, large walk-in shower. Pool area was better than you might expect from an avg small Hilton, with comfortable lounging areas, cabanas.

A special shoutout to Sam behind the bar—she’s an absolute gem! Her energy and personality really stood out and made us feel right at home. On top of that, the food was excellent, which made hanging out at the hotel even more enjoyable.

This is the loudest hotel I have stayed, in a long time. My head board would shake when a door was closed in a room close to me. Rude front desk people.

The inside of the hotel is so cute and the staff accommodating. I loved the bar and restaurant inside, the bartender was even kind enough to give some suggestions on how to spend our Friday night, which we used some of them! Loved it overall

Great location, great bar

We actually live in Tucson, and had a plumbing emergency, so we had to stay at a hotel for about a week. The Eddy is a brand-new hotel, in a great location, priced very reasonably, compared to other hotels in the Catalina Foothills area, so we decided to give it a try. It's very nice - nothing too fancy, but the rooms are comfortable, and we appreciate the modern walk-in shower and lots of counter space in the bathroom! The restaurant was very good too - a great take on southwestern cuisine! Plus, for visitors, it's located in the north central area, so it's close to just about everything!

Nice staff! Free charging is why we picked this hotel! Everything is just a bonus!!

I’m only giving 4 starts because I booked a room and the balcony is not the same size as pictured. False advertising by Hotels.com It was disappointing to hear they didn’t even have a balcony that Hotels.com pictured.

When returning to our room around 11:30AM we found our key inoperable. We were locked out- so another walk to the front desk, no apology, recieved a working keycard. The noon checkout is wonderful but please abide by it. Other issues existed.

Overall a good stay for a fair price. Most staff was helpful except one front desk person I feel might be better off behind the scenes and not be the face of the hotel as the individual didn’t seem to me to be highly into the service aspect. Others were very good. There were problems with water coming out of the shower onto the floor. Restaurant at dinner is excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable .

Personally I don’t like the fan in bathroom comes on automatically and you can’t turn it off - very loud and annoying!

It’s ok, just somewhat impersonal. A “lanai” normally describes a balcony more that 2 feet wide… a microwave and a bathtub would have been nice

This was a great hotel. We thought the beds were great, the room was big and very clean. The only problem was the snarly gentlemen at the front desk, either they were busy on their phones or just not in the mood to answer a question. When the ladies were at the front desk, they were quite approachable and helped with a small, correctable problem. And now about the restaurant . . . We thought the dinner was so good we ate there numerous times. The chef really was a credit to the hotel as well as the bartenders! Outstanding staff.

Property was great ..Our shower had no hot water and also the body wash was empty,so we used soap.

Problems with the TV, annoying, not a mayor problem

The Eddy is delight; a gem. The rooms, the indoor and outdoor spaces are wonderfully designed, decorated and furnished. The place is spotless. We encountered some minor issues that we raised that I'm sure will be addressed in time.

I stayed here 2 nights. The room was great-very clean and updated. My only issue was the service at the cafe downstairs. It was very slow. There wasn’t much to grab and go, or I would've just done that. I don’t think they had enough help and the woman who was there seemed nice, but overwhelmed. The wait was too long on Sat, but Sunday I waited and the food was very good.

Wonderful hotel -- felt new, clean, updated and a really nice vibe with interesting decor, lovely pool, outdoor firepits and indoor gathering places. Also in a great location near lots of restaurants and shops without being right in the middle of the city.

Samantha at the restaurant was absolutely the best! The staff at the restaurant were just great!

A beautiful property that is spotlessly clean! The staff is well trained, professional, and courteous. We especially enjoyed the attention to detail in the design of the rooms, from the ample storage and seating to the bathroom nightlights. We can’t wait to visit Tucson again soon so we can (hopefully!) stay at The Eddy again.

I stayed here very shortly after it opened, and have stayed now a second time. The experience was the same and it was excellent.

Absolute great hotel find. Fantastic amenities, from an outstanding patio and pool area, to a shuffleboard lobby area and a clean gym with everything you need for a great workout.

Everyone was friendly since the moment I walked in. I was really frustrated because the airline had lost/delayed my luggage and I had to wait for it to be delivered and the front desk person was really nice and assured me that as soon as it got delivered they would call me. Had a wonderful dinner there and as promised they called me when my luggage arrived.

The only review I have is Expedia messed up my reservation. The hotel staff was fabulous so was the hotel.

The shower door leaked significantly onto floor every time we used it. Housekeeping said it was a known issue. First day we had to request room to be made up in the afternoon as it hadn't been done that morning. Restaurant advertises breakfast starts at 6:00. On checkout day (Wed) we waited 6:00-6:10 and they clearly weren't open so we had to go elsewhere.

Great location at the bar of the foothills, the burger was excellent, staff was friendly, just a wonderful stay.

We noticed the night before check out (late) that our room door was not staying closed, this caused a safety issue. The door would click to close, but when we pushed the door, it would open. This was scary, and not acceptable as it put us and our personal belongings at risk. We informed the front desk the next morning before we checked out and he was in shock himself. He said he would report the issue to the manager.

The room was lovely! The restaurant was excellent. Some hotels are noisy, but this one was quiet. It is located in a desert location with great views of the mountains.

Check in was simple and room was very clean. Hotel is new and matches the pictures. One of the nicer options in Tucson for sure. Worth the extra $ for peace of mind

Really nice property in Tucson. I would give it five stars but they have a bit of problem with speed of service. For whatever reason I've stayed here twice and they keep putting me right by the ice machines right by the registration instead of Elsewhere on property. Jacuzzi is too cold and bartender had a little bit of attitude
