I had a wonderful stay at The Alice. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with thoughtful amenities that made the stay enjoyable.

So quiet. Regular shower head and one from the ceiling. The room was very clean and parking right in front of room. front desk had great personality and helpful at 1:30 am. Beds so comfortable. Will stay again!!

In the first place that should be called a motel. It will get a better rating if it's called a motel. The pictures on the Internet and the physical property is day and night! I will never go there again I needed a hotel not a motel. I even tried to get another hotel but that night was a graduating night so all hotels were booked so we had to manage it. The inside was clean but the environment was not pleasant.

Cute vintage inspired room. Super clean, but our bed made really loud clanking noises when we rolled over. Fine for one night, but would have had to talk to someone about fixing it if we were staying longer. Comfortable enough as long as we didn't roll about.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here! We love it! Clean, quiet, comfortable and centrally located! The coffee machine didn’t work and neither did the one they replaced it with.

The room and grounds were clean, bed was comfortable but it’s very small. There’s no closet to hang clothes and the elevator wasn’t working, but it served its purpose.

The hotel was very clean and cute. Way to pricey for that small of a room. I could've stayed somewhere else for much cheaper, nicer and more spacious!

Everything was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be any amenities except free coffee. The pool and lobby are under construction and are a big hole in the ground next door currently (4/24/2026). That being said, the price is right given the current state of things. Also, there is no elevator and this place is three stories.

Modern updates and customization. Nice laundry facilities. Thoughtful.staff. Spotless. Location à pain to get in and out of. Pool is under construction. No microwave. Very small room for two people with a lot of luggage.

The cleaness of the hotel it self. No complaints
- 4/5
We checked in early there were very few cars. But after 9pm the occupants of rooms next to us arrived, slamming car doors, trunks peeping, loud voices, etc. I don’t know what the hotel can do about that, but it was unpleasant.
- 2/5
A couple in their mid-70s with mobility limitations was given a second-floor room at the far end of the building, with no bellhop available and a broken elevator. The bedside table was unstable, the seating was just a basic chair, and the entire room had tile flooring. Unfortunately, a fall did occur. Excellent staff and clean room. Renovation in progress and room not ready to lease. Unfinished wall and ceiling. Pool being constructed and no easily accessible restaurant.
- 5/5
Hotel was nore than I expected. Clean updated rooms Hope at the deont desk was very pleasant amd helpful. Would stay again

- 3/5
Room was newly remodeled and super clean. That part was good. Would I stay again? Not until they finish construction.
- 4/5
Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I liked the double showerheads in the bathroom!
- 4/5
I loved that you thought in everything that a traveler might need during the stay! Congrats!!
- 4/5
Clean room, Nice staff, Air conditioning, parking. Decent little room. Sketch neighborhood but anything under $150 a night in Tucson is in a sketch neighborhood. Loved that there was a handheld steamer in my room. I was going to wet my pants and blow dry them but the steamer was way better. My hand soap dispenser could have had mor soap in it and my room key was only activated for one night so in a hundred degree heat I had to go the office and get my stay extended. The mini frdge in the room is great. The shower is low, low flow. It was a decent basic room.
- 5/5
Great stay at the Alice. Room with clean and comfortable. Check in was very efficient. Motel has been completely renovated with all kinds of amenities. We had a great day and highly recommend the property!

We were very pleased with our stay at The Alice and would stay again.
- 2/5
Room was clean but super tiny. Area is sketchy, Pool Under construction, be honest it’s still dirt. I’ll do better research next time.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Looking forward to coming back next year. Kind and professional. Clean and safe place.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy bed, great deal and fast check in.
- 4/5
However, the hotel lacks prominent signage, making it hard to locate, and the check-in office is not easily identifiable. A designated drive-up area for check-in would improve convenience. While guest services were professional, a warmer reception would enhance the experience. More exterior lighting and additional dog-friendly amenities would also be beneficial, especially given the location. Overall, The Alice Hotel is a pleasant choice for a short stay, with a few areas for improvement that would enhance the overall guest experience.
- 5/5
Very clean and easily accessible from freeway.
- 1/5
The power went out on a windless, cloudless sunny day. Make that make sense. Oh god, and the freeway noise. It’s so loud, even over the constant AC fan, that you aren’t sleeping well. For added safety and security, don’t forget to hitch your hip into the door so it fully engages in the frame and you can lock the deadbolt properly. There isn’t a second door lock, so sleep tight!
- 5/5
The rooms have been gut-renovated with a Palm Springs boutique vibe. They are still working on some items. For instance the shower glass had not been installed yet and a temporary shower curtain was there instead. Once the pool is ready, I speculate this will be a hopping place.
- 5/5
clean and cute! staff was super friendly as well.
- 5/5
The room was perfect. The event we came to town for was cancelled at the last minute and had it not been for cute room we booked at the hotel the trip would have been a total bust.
- 5/5
Was a great place to stay
- 5/5
Very cute room with comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Hotel is super nice. Well worth the prices
- 5/5
Very nice hotel would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Don’t be put off by the surrounding area; the pool is still under construction. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, if you ask for a room facing away from the freeway. Enjoyed my brief stay.
- 5/5
Yes, except prefer microwave in room
- 3/5
Very clean basic room . Very noisy on the freeway side.
- 5/5
This is a very nice place to stay. Staff if very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the design was really fun. The location is great was well. Close to everything I want to explore!
- 5/5
I was staying in Arizona for a wedding and staying here was absolutely wonderful!
- 5/5
Don't let the outside fool you! The rooms are renovated modern rooms, staff is very friendly. Only downside is it’s right off the freeway so it’s a little noisy but they provide earplugs.
- 2/5
No shower curtain. No ice bucket. Unhelpful at check-in. Miserable breakfast.
- 4/5
the room was great, the bed was nice, but the frame was noisy. The shower and bathroom were awesome!! Location was good for work, and being on the back side helped with the noise. With the quality of the rooms, I can't wait to see what's coming with the pool, office, etc. I may have found my new Tucson hotel.
- 5/5
Everybody was very friendly and kind and check-in was super easy because you can check in ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Hotel room was nice. They sent me a preregistration to fill out and when got there I had to fill it out again. Hotel was next to freeway and noisy.
- 3/5
Easy access to highway. But it is a little pricey for what you got. Room was small, but bed is comfortable.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable! Good location outside the downtown area. Only negative was the bathroom was small. Good for a one night trip.
- 1/5
Went to check in and the key card didn't work. The front desk clerk gave us a new key that didn't work either. When. We finally got into the room, it smelled like sewer. Clerk said it was because they don't use the rooms on the theirs floor and offered to pour vinegar down the drain. We requested a different room but was told it was the only room available. Choosing not to sleep in a room filled with sewer gasses, we told the clerk we would find alternative accommodations and to refund our money. She said she couldn't do that and we would need to contact the manager in the morn ING to see If he would refund our money. Ridiculous. I am disputing the charge with my credit card and won't be back.
- 4/5
Very clean and comfortable Freeway noise is a lot but the hotel itself was great.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Everything was great during our stay. All of your basic needs will be met and the staff is very helpful. Close-ish proximity to the Tucson Convention Center (about a 4 minute drive via Lyft/Uber) which worked for our needs. Clean rooms, hot showers, comfy bed.
- 5/5
Quick check in with pre check...room was great just what I needed. Bed comfy.
- 5/5
Carmen, who worked the front desk during the day, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was a true ambassador for the hotel, Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The best location possible if you are shopping at the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil show! Small but impeccably clean rooms but there is a lot of freeway traffic noise. This didn't bother us at all but it might bother someone visiting for different reasons than us. The hotel is right next to the freeway.
- 3/5
Room size is as advertised . Front of the building faces highway so ear plugs are supplied. No furniture to store your clothes, just hooks in bathroom. Staff very courteous . Location is excellent for gem show, Convention centre, but no grocery stores nearby. Expect pool area to be open next spring

I love the modern style, although the hotels not fully done being worked on not all the amenities were available. I would have to say the bedding was thoughtfully, taken care of the pillows, and the comforter were super comfortable.
- 4/5
I liked the room, but it was a bit small. Because there was no desk or seating options other than the bed, it would have been nice to have a common area in the lobby or somewhere else on the property. They are still working on the hotel, so there is construction, but it is only during the day and does not cause much of a disturbance. For the price, this was a good stay in an up-and-coming boutique hotel.
- 5/5
Felt very safe.
- 4/5
Room was cute and worked for our stay, though on the smaller side. Only downside was the outside noise, which we expected being so close to the interstate. Our room was on the backside of the hotel and the noise that came from the motorcycle training next door was what was alot. Every morning at 5:40am a guy rode up with his music blaring for around 2 minutes. Aside from that, I'd stay again.
- 4/5
The facilities/room was immaculate! It was in such great condition, i thought we were the first persons to stay in the room. Staff was friendly and accommodating; parking is plentiful and free; all mechanics in the room worked very well. Only negative is the freeway noise. Our door was not well sealed/weather stripped and we faced the freeway. We could hear the traffic all night. If that could be fixed, it would be a 5 star rating.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and very nicely appointed. There was a small problem with the key card not working however. It may have needed a new battery.
- 5/5
The staff was great. We had technical issues with the TV and they quickly moved us to another room. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
The room was good.
- 4/5
The room was clean and well set up. The staff were attentive and kind. The hotel is pretty no frills -- no breakfast, construction all around, no pool. I look forward to seeing what it is when construction is complete.
- 1/5
Didnt end up staying. When I arrived at 11:30pm, person tried to get into the car, even with it running and me inside. I noticed two others wandering around the parked cars looking in them. So i left immediately.
- 1/5
Paying more for a suite and the door didn't lock. By accident, I noticed you can get in without using the key card. Even if the lock inside is turned, it could still be opened. After going to the front desk and it being explained that the locks are old and you need to really pull on it and/or turn the inside lock really slowly, the logic I purposed was in order to know if it was securely locked, I would need to be outside. After a few offerings of how to lock their old, broken locks, I was moved to a different room that the bathroom smelled terrible (sewage smell). Using my own Lysol and running the water in the shower for a bit, it was better. The new room's lock needed the key card several times. It would turn green, but the mechanism wouldn't catch. One time it took too many tries, so the cards stopped working. I had to go down and get them redone and explained how the lock doesn't catch, and like the other lock that didn't work, this was because of the old locks too and just an acknowledging nod. For whatever rooms that the locks don't work, they will have visitors thinking their doors are locked without testing it from the outside and they stay not knowing. Explaining how to lock it afterward, if that even works, leaves a lot of people with the illusion of a safe locked door that is not locked at all. The area is not safe and walking out by the wall, there are many, many homeless people and hypodermic needles strewn in the dirt right outside the wall.
- 5/5
This hotel is not in the most ideal location. But the service we received was excellent. Our room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. We slept very well! We would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Thumbs up
- 5/5
Room was very clean and modern! Loved the bed.
- 4/5
Room is clean, staff is nice. Young lady that checked us in wasn't super friendly. But it was late night, she was alone, and looked really young (I don't know- it was a long drive I was tired). Everyone else was very nice and pleasant. Had a problem with the hot water which was resolved quickly. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Todo fue perfecto y limpio 👌
- 5/5
Very tasty renovation and reincarnation of an older, previously run - down property. Excellent execution, rooms are comfortable, not ostentatious, with upper-end quality finishes and gorgeous retro designer styling in each room. And the beds are amazing! Can't wait for the new activities building and swim club to be completed! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
- 5/5
The hotel was made over from a motel, with contemporary interior design. It's clean and cozy. The manager is very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Check-in was probably the most difficult just because they send you a pre-check-in asking for documentation and an uploaded picture of the front and back of your ID to "make check-in easier". Needless to say, pre-check was a load of crap and they still needed to make a copy of my ID. If they're going to offer something like this as a service, it better damn well work. In this case, it obviously does not. Aside from that, the room was very clean, obviously newly remodeled and it was comfortable. Some things to note, Alice Hotel, the TV in our room had a massive scratch across the front of the screen that was pretty pronounced whenever the screen was dark while watching any shows on TV. Secondly, the water pressure in the showers is really poor, like very poor, but at least I was able to wash myself. Lastly, the light switch for the vanity, near the bathroom, was faulty. It would not stay in the "On" position unless you wedge something into the switch itself. None of these issues were terrible or unbearable, but they're issues I don't expect to deal with during my stay. Regardless, it's a great little MOTEL (doors for the rooms are on the outside next to the parking lot) and I'd stay here again. I just hope they streamline the check-in process, that was BS.
- 4/5
Was off a one- way street, so if you're not familiar-- you can miss the hotel drive-way entrance. Lobby is quaint and little. Staff was polite, patient (as I'm handicap), and accommodating. Rooms are thankfully non-smoking, so they smell clean. Only one trash can and minimal handle bars in bathroom. Found the bed to be very comfortable. And the TV was huge, Jerry.😁 A/C worked great. Black out blinds on windows, and noise reduction was great probably because of the brick wall in room. I would return again though and recommend to others if you're into clean and minimal amenities. (Sorry, no breakfast, but there's a great restaurant across the street.)🙂👍

Very nice staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Great showers. 15 minutes from airport. You really need a car there.
- 5/5

This place was great, 10 min drive to campus and close to downtown. The room was small but the linens, mattress and pillows were some of the best I’ve come across from a hotel. Once the pool is finished this will be even better!
- 5/5
Very Friendly Staff and Ravi the manager was so hospitable. Thank you for such a wonderful stay
- 5/5
Clean room, newly renovated room. Friendly family owned property. Highly recommended
- 4/5
Newly remodeled. Clean.
- 4/5
Super cute renovated hotel. Excellent service, and precheck in! Love the texting feature was able to request an extra blanket and pillow before arrival. Someone realized their dream and created a super charming little boutique hotel. The only hang up for me is that it was near the highway and could be loud at times but the hotel does provide you with earplugs! Cute and clean little hotel for a reasonable price.
- 4/5
Surrounding area little sketchy but inside facilities were good
- 3/5
Room was very clean. Seemed new. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately the location isn’t great. It’s on the freeway so it very loud. No pool yet. Did not love the area of town.
- 4/5
Very nice room, bed comfy, Our card door key didn’t work, walked the length of the building to office- rekeyed, walked back- key still didn’t work, had to have maintenance open door, Got another set of keys, At 10:30 that night, we tried to get in our room and keys still didn’t work, Thank goodness the office was still open and clerk had to walk us to our room and unlock door. The hotel is in a poor part of town, hard to get in and out of parking lot. We would stay there again though.
- 5/5
Remodeled and retro vibe. Comfortable bedding and towels. Looking forward to the swim club opening
- 5/5
WiFi needs a boost of speed and power so it provides constant connectivity. Will definitely stay here again when in Tucson!

- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable bed.

The room was ok. The area around the hotel looks a little rough. People kept hanging around my car. Made me feel uneasy

We were looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed. This place checked both of those boxes. I was worried it would be loud so close to the freeway but the room was quiet and comfortable.

Other reviews have complained about being too close to the freeway and noise, however, I was on the side of the freeway and didn’t hear anything. There were no issues there at all. Overall, this place was just fine, very clean, the two women that were on staff for the two days that I were there were extremely friendly and helpful and I imagine once a pool is put in, this place will be a nice stay.

The stay was enjoyable. Room was clean, very nice front desk agents! Check in and check out was easy, kudos for the ear plugs, definitely came in handy. Would return.
- 5/5
Amazing upgrade to this facility! So clean and so many details hit the mark. Shower had a rain element and they provided a steamer for clothing. First class. They are doing more as they are building a pool and restaurant on property! Hats off Alice!
- 3/5
I didn't read the description of the bed sizes! They are Full beds (not comfortable for two people sleeping in each! ) The shower is tiny looks like a closet, oversize person wouldn't fit in bathroom toilet!(claustrophobic,) But beautiful! Shower pressure was a bit weak. But beautiful bc of the double shower head option! I wish we had a microwave in room! It was never mentioned that there was a ice machine in the laundry. This would have been good to know! (maybe having in the room so people know?) Overall great experience can't wait for the upgrades if they ever get a pool, or restaurant!
- 1/5
TV didn’t hardly work, room was not what was advertised, unfinished room, ceiling was bare concrete, not painted or finished. Coffee maker problems. No where to hang clothes other than small hooks in tiny bathroom. Flimsy plastic chair in a Deluxe King Suite. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in. Elevator didn’t work.
- 5/5
Great stay! After reviewing other local stays, this is the only one that felt safe to stay at. getting checked in was a breeze and the staff was friendly! I had a complication with my stay outside of their control, but they were very accommodating and helped ensure everything worked alright with Hotels.com and such! The room was cute, comfortable, and the TV, while a bit slow, had Netflix and apps we could sign in with our info and enjoy stuff as if we were home! A strong recommend from me and I will be coming back! Just a heads up, stairs only no elevator, but I enjoyed getting my stairmaster steps in haha.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay
- 4/5
I like the possibilities of this new property. The lobby needs better signage, they need to improve access to the property. The rooms are smallish, but well appointed. A lugage rack would be nice. Looks promising. I'll be going back.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
The future bar, restaurant, and pool will greatly enhance the experience. Fir now, the elevators must become operational.
- 4/5
Good size room and it's new. No pool yet. Reasonable price per night.
- 5/5
Best towels i have ever had. Easy walking distance to food.
- 4/5
The check in was easy. The facility has been rejuvenated and refurbished, which was very nice. However, they had old locks on the doors and the key cards rarely worked, which was a big disappointment.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
I actually ended up staying here for 4 days. Very nice, clean and friendly staff. I really enjoyed it
- 5/5
Only complaint is that the wifi/tv lagged, but not too big a deal especially for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.
