    I got there at a later hour. Front desk was amazing. I dont like to complain but had an issue with 1st room, second room tv didnt work and third room was perfect and fixed the a/c. I would stay again.. and the breakfast was great and staff very friendly . Thanks for a great stay

    I stayed with my kids for a sports tournament. I chose this hotel for the breakfast reviews to save time in the mornings before games. It was nothing different than other continental breakfasts and we ended up not eating there because of it. The hotel was clean and kept up, but very outdated with rust and peeling on walls and bathroom. Staff was hit or miss, some nice, others annoyed. I don’t think I will stat here again.

    This is an older hotel so the air-conditioning is outdated and depending on the room, may not work great. There is usually some rust around the fixtures in the bathroom. The bedding seems/smells clean. Floors seem to get a "good enough clean". With that said, I stay there often because it is very quiet and I can get a good night's rest.

    Stated at this location as a pit stop to our actual destination, from Texas to California. We had stayed at this location before and wow has it gone downhill. Had a terrible experience with the AC and cigarette smoke stench in our rooms. Our first couple of rooms were on the third floor, we had to switch rooms twice before finding out that the second floor had AC’s that actually worked. The first front desk employee we encountered was great, she heard us out and was understanding of us needing better rooms since we were traveling with our children. The second employee though, was minimizing our situation. When asked if we could move to a different floor, she stated she only had the 2nd and 4th floor available. When saying we’d take the 2nd floor she began to tell us that the 3rd floor had the “better” rooms and the 2nd floor had “beat up” rooms and described them as a “downgrade.” Said I’d take it anyway as long as the AC worked and didn’t smell. Got the rooms to the second floor and I did not see beat up rooms, they were actually better than the 3rd floor and appeared to be remodeled. I’m glad our stay was only 1 night. The breakfast was ok there’s just a small selection of items. I don’t recommend this hotel if you’re traveling with children.

    Breakfast was very good. The pool area needs work, it is not particularly clean or safe. The building and furnishings are beautiful in an interesting disco vintage way. Needs a bar for sure. You could have lots of fun dancing in the interior courtyard.

    The Viscount hotel has been around for a long time. The entrance was beautiful and a large atrium with fountain was nice but not used. The room&hallway carpet were quite stained and looked dirty. The suite room was really dark/horrible lighting old . Our refrigerator was broke, the pull out bed had a trashed mattress, the bathroom was out of date, old plastic shower head that didn’t work good, and faucet that leaked. The pool looked pretty and was salt water (nice) was good temp and refreshing but a little dirty for 3 days…but the deck area all around was so broken and rocky, it was hard to walk on bare feet and a tripping hazard. after unpacking and with having some health issues we really didn’t want to move. The staff did switch out the refrigerator and gave us a cot. They were very friendly and tried to make it better. The beds were nice. The breakfast was good but we were late sleepers and it ended at 9am. 10 am would be better. Overall I was disappointed.

    The breakfast and grill staff were very nice. There was a pool and laundry .There was a working fridge in the room. Rooms were spacious with a separate seating area, bathroom and bedroom. Easy access to a bus route. The building is tired looking, set in the 70's style. Reception staff were not that helpful. WiFi isn't available in some of the rooms so we had to go to the main lobby area each day for access. There were no easy chairs here, just the chairs from the eateries. The lighting in the rooms was poor and there are no usb slots. Plug points were scarce. All seating was heavily stained in the rooms and it felt grubby. There was no safe.

    The pool closes at 10 sharp. We had hoped that as long as we got in before 10 they wouldn't kick us out immediately, but at 9:56 they were telling us we had three minutes. The room was great but it only had one working TV remote for the two tvs, and one remote that did nothing. Sitting area, bed, hot water all perfectly fine. The air conditioner must be a chiller system, because we couldn't set the temp or make it cooler than it was when we arrived. It was adequately cool. I wish we could have been cold but I did not have trouble sleeping because of how warm it was. Breakfast was very good but surprising in some regards. It had a more mom and pop feel, with only one juice option(not a machine) and yogurt not in individual cups. There were hot eggs and a meat option so I'm sure I'd be happy there day after day if I stayed more than one night. If I stayed in Tucson again there's a good chance I would stay here

    This is the place I stay at most of the time unless it is booked on dates needed… onkyb1 minor problem I feel needs to be addressed is the toilet paper spot is in the wrong place and gets wet when showers is used. Other than that the staff and and the amenities are awesome, including free breakfast in the restaurant is great! You won’t have any regrets staying here! It’s always a win win situation!

    my room did not have any Wi-Fi. The shower did not have any hot water. The hot tub was not working. There were no bubbles. Staff was rude except for one staff member the room smelled very musty. Bathroom had dust and hair all over the floor. It was just not a good experience. I would never stay here again. I canceled my stay and had to find somewhere else last minute. I would have rather slept in my car than spend another night in that hotel.

    it was fine for the few hours while we slept. we came for my grandson's graduation and just didn't want to drive in the dark. looked like the back of the bathroom door had been attacked by a great Dane. Handles off on cabinets, the bathtub was just a mess.

    It was fine, it served as a place to stay, nearish to Banner Hospital, it was affordable. Some of the staff was helpful. Some of the staff would have rather been anywhere else, merely based on the dismissive responses I received. I walked out to find my rear tire deflated on the day of departure, not slashed, someone took the time to deflate my tire. So I wouldn’t say parking is that secure. If I find a better rate anywhere else on my next trip, I will stay at any another hotel.

    Breakfast was good The room had a sour smell to it upon entering, I found it was due to old food in the mini fridge. About 10min after check in I got a text from front desk saying to let them know if there was anything I needed by just replying to their message, so I did reply about the smell and the refrigerator and did not hear anything. So on my way out to dinner I stopped and let the front desk lady k ow and she shook her head and rolled her eyes and said ya the staff is lazy around here. When I got back to my room after dinner, IT WAS STILL THERE!!!!! No body ever did come and get it out. Then around bedtime I noticed the toilet was not draining. So I sent another message about that and again no reply. So I called down to let them know and the lady said there was nothing she could do until 8am the following morning, she said we had to use the restroom down on the first floor until then. It was a headache and I want my money back!

    Ms Zahira Cordova saw what was happening and took over the sign-in for me. Her kindness and understanding of this 76 year old helped get me into a room, and did it with a smile. I've had several businesses, hired and trained hundreds of employees. Ms Cordova is exceptional. Whatever you are paying her isn't enough by half. She should have a substantial raise NOW, and a promotion. She will excel in any position. You don't want to lose this amazing woman.

    My daughters and I enjoy the hotel stay, the staff was nice and attentive. Enjoyed the happy hour, pool, and breakfast. This is the second time we have stayed and look forward to staying again. If I had to say anything, the water pressure was low and there were no sheets or pillows for the pull out bed. Staff was happy to provide when requested.

    I don’t understand why they would offer anyone a room that they know to be substandard. This is the hospitality business after all. The property is obviously undergoing an upgrade. Carpets throughout were stained and filthy. But why not put your guests in a renovated room or the best you had? After my fall, the desk staff offered that maybe I would like a room with a bathmat. And a new rubber one was provided. That bathroom was better but the same tub, which would not hold water, so no bath just shower available. Based on the condition of the various rooms I never wanted their breakfast or use of the pool and hot tub, although it sounded appealing for my aches and pains. Absolutely the worst!

    The room and hotel layout is great. The location is central to Tucson. The rooms are quite dated. The blackout curtains had holes in them that allowed early (5:30) sunlight in. The breakfast was hot and the eggs seemed real, not powdered. However, there wasn't much variety. Staff was cordial and the room was clean. Under the category of you get what you pay for, it's quite reasonable.

    Our 1st stay was very nice. It is a beautiful hotel and our room was clean, beds were comfortable, the shower head was good but the pillows are very big. We liked it well enough to book a room on our return trip. Our room on the return trip was the same as above except the carpet was awful. This room must be for animal owners. The carpet was covered in stains both in the room and in the hallway outside the room. At least there was no odor.

    I asked to move rooms because the carpet was so gross on the first room I checked into and it smelled bad. The whole place needs TLC, updating, new flooring and paint. I used to attend monthly meetings here and had family stay at this hotel when they were in town. It's not what it used to be.

    I was at Viscount Suites from 4/8-4/11/2026. The room was ok for cleanliness but the furniture, bathroom fixtures, electrical outlets, TVs, and drapes are very much outdated. Everything in this hotel needs updated. The lights in the hallways are very dim.

    Everything was stained including the bathtub. Extremely outdated. Completely understaffed. I felt so bad for the First Lady that helped us at the front desk on check in. The 2nd lady was SO RUDE! We had no bedding in our room, when she was asked for some she was completely overwhelmed being the only person working it seemed. It was an awful experience.Room was ok but outdated and no pull out in the sofa. Not a very comfortable stay.

    Our room was deplorable. First though, the security door to let you in from parking was broken. Not broken so you couldn't get in, broken so ANYONE could get in. The room was filthy, holes in the furniture, walls, & doors. The lamps did not work, the furniture was thrift shop worthy. I slept on a double bed that screams springs sounds when you moved on it. The floors made our feet dirty. The "assist" tub was a normal tub with a less than stable seat to add from under the sink. There was no Wifi and when I called the desk to talk about things I was told by a staff member that he just works in this substandard hotel and there wasn't anything he could do. Why didn't we leave? We are 70, it was late and we just couldn't see driving around a strange town looking for a place to stay. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. When asked at the front desk, in the morning, they told me that we stayed, so nothing can be done. Please take this nightmare facility off any and all hotel requests for Tucson Arizona. It has also caused me to lose a little trust in what Expedia is offering.

    The receptionist was nice when we checked in but the room itself was awful. 4 of the lights didn't work, the room TV stand was damaged as was the remote for it. The kpod coffee maker had someone's hair in it, the bathroom door had weird stains, the temperature was too hot and not adjustable, the since and bathtub were rusty, and most of the furniture was stained. I was very disappointed and will NEVER be staying here again nor recommending it to anyone.

We asked staff to clean our bathroom when they came they cleaned it, but we realized that the it just needed to be updated the grout and tile had unwashable yellow marks on it.     The hotel could really use a face lift. The furniture was old and had lots of cosmetic damage/stains. The floors/carpets were pretty heavily stained. There were no extra blankets in the room and room attendance took over 30 minutes and my kiddo was falling asleep so I went to go get blankets. The staff were not friendly, in fact kinda cold. The pool had no lights in the pool or around the pool so at 730p the kids were out swimming without lights. We stayed for about 10 minutes before I decided it was really unsafe to not be able to see all the kiddos in the pool in the dark. Other residents were calling the front desk to ask about lights and no one would answer. The breakfast was decent. The bacon and potatoes were perfect! Over all it was a decent stay but if you can spend a bit more, I would suggest an Embassy.

    The entire property felt dark, outdated, and honestly a bit depressing due to the level of disrepair. The only bright spot was the front desk staff. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and clearly doing their best to accommodate guests. Unfortunately, it’s not their fault the property itself is in such poor condition. I really hope management invests in major improvements because the staff deserves a better place to represent.

    This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Housekeeping only changes sheets. The floors havent been cleaned in who knows how long. Food was splashed all over the walls and curtains. Chunks were out of the bathroom door. The faucets were put on backwards. Just dusty and dirty, dirty dirty. If i didnt have someplace to be during the day, i would have left right away.

    The room was big and i enjoyed having a living room area. It was very clean. Obviously an older hotel but i enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was good and different every day. The staff was nice and accommodating. I had an issue with my AC not working and a maintenance guy came right away and fixed it. If i need a room is Tucson again i will be staying here.

    The hotel itself feels quite old , probably from the 80s , and it shows. The breakfast was average, nothing special but acceptable. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Housekeeping is scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, but even when they came, the room was not cleaned properly. We often had to ask for fresh towels and washcloths. On a positive note, the front desk staff and the breakfast staff were very nice and friendly, which helped make the stay more pleasant. Overall, it’s budget-friendly for a long business stay, but the cleanliness definitely needs significant improvement.

    I am sorry but I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The room was absolutely disgusting. The lady that checked us in hated her job. The entire place was in desperate need of a remodel. The TV didn't work. They were fake eyelashes in the bedding. They were bugs crawling across the mirror. The microwave didn't work. But they did make an effort to replace the microwave with a working one. And then we asked for another room. To their credit they immediately moved us and gave us an upgrade. The second room was much better. I will admit that they tried. It's not their fault that the property is run down. All of the art had been removed from the walls. So there were holes in the walls and the wallpaper was peeling. The bathtub was gross. We'll never be back. The elevator buttons didn't work. The room upgrade was the only thing that kept us from asking for an entire refund and not staying the second night.

    Property needs updated. Carpets are all stained. Bathrooms have chipped porcelain and rusty fixtures and chipped tiles. Spa has a broken drain cover and the pool deck is loose rocks. Wilbur’s evening staff is rude as well if you call for take out. Beds were comfy and towels were soft.

    The room(s) they put me in were disgusting. On my way to the first room (on the second floor) I meet a woman looking for the ice machine. I couldn’t make out her face because of the darkness. The non smoking room, strongly smelt like cigarette smoke the moment I walked in. I turned around and walked right out, heading back to check-in. I was given a different room that made my skin crawl. This time on the 1st floor. It was so dirty! There were dark spots on the tile around the toilet I thought were chips in the tile…they were not! The drain was gross and the mirror was chipped along the bottom. There were small holes in the walls, a cigarette burn on the dresser along with multiple stains and holes. It was just dirty everywhere! The woman at the check-in was super helpful and nice. She explained that there were upgrades to rooms on the 3rd floor and that if she had any available, she’d give me one. These are the rooms they photograph for their marketing and it’s very misleading. I was able to get a refund and promptly found another hotel.

    So many issues. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Fire Alarm or CO@ Alarm hanging from the ceiling. The bed comforter and the top sheet were stained, making them feel dirty. Dust bunnies on the floor, so if you walked in your socks or bare feet, it wasn't clean. The back door to the entrance from the parking lot was broken and wouldn't lock, so anyone could enter the premises without a key. Didn't feel safe.

    Room 202: The thermostat was torn off the wall, our bathroom sink was constantly dripping on the floor, the main TV was broken, the curtain was torn, there were former occupants crusty socks laying on the floor, there was a vape pen next to our bed in a non-smoking room, and many other things too numerous to mention. I mentioned these to the front desk but over our 3 nights, never heard from them. Overall, this place needs help! I cannot recommend to anyone to stay here. Especially for $200 a night! sorry

    Stayed here two years in a row and such mixed value. Cheap and good location for Gem and Mineral Show, Sabino Canyon, Botanical Garden and restaurants all reasonable distance. It was once a terrific hotel but is really deteriorating. Stained carpets, toilets barely flush and last resident’s hair around floor in toilet area, the AC didn’t work in either room this time — thank G the windows open or we could not have stayed at all. Bed has pillow top but really did not offset very hard bed and those thick lumpy pillows really terrible! Both fridges had so much ice you could barely fit one narrow blue ice pack and overall fridge temp barely cut it. We had to ask for another TV because it had sound no picture. But they did arrive to swap it within the hour. Good equip in little gym and nice outdoor hot tub but a lot of sand on the spa bottom. Outdoor pool not heated enough to swim in late January. The free breakfast excellent — different selections each day. Staff very nice.

    First off the place was filthy. The bed in room 240 was a mess. It was huge pills on the mattress and it was hard to sleep on it cause it was so bumpy picture had cracked glass in it floors were dirty. The rugs were filthy the curtains you could see through them. They were so old. The front desk person I had was not nice at all. Breakfast was just OK. I wouldn’t stay there again if my life depended on it filthy also.

    Ramada Viscount Suites Tucson has a outdated HVAC system which CANNOT be switched from AC to heat by the CUSTOMER. A handyman must be called to do it. They put us in an ADA room at our request in the evening, but did NOT TELL US that we would have no heat, because the handymen had all gone home! We FROZE all night; got NO SLEEP

    Don’t walk RUN AWAY from this place. The floors were nasty, rooms were run down, showed a room with a pull out couch (found all all the pull out couches are broken), big chunks missing out if furniture, rooms smell musty. Definitely not worth $100 maybe $40. The breakfast the only thing good there was the pancakes and toast. Sausage I spit out as soon as I took a bite. The staff however super nice. But some didnt know what they were doing apparently the lady that checked us in didnt put in the computer that they moved us so then the morning staff deactivated my card so I couldnt go to our room because they didn't know who we were. Oh ya and the rooms you can NOT control the temperature they had turned the whole system to heat and it was burning hot in our room. Had to sleep with window open with no screen because they only had one fan and I let my kid use it in the livingroom because it was hottier in there. Livingroom TV didnt get many channels and didnt appear to have cable just an antenna.

    Our room is in need of help, the water in the shower does not get hot and there was no bath mat to put in tub and if it was not for the rail in the shower that I had to grab immediately I would of fell when I slipped. The tub itself was not white, it has a lot of wear because it is has a lot of big black marks all in it. The toilet was not completely sealed at the bottom because it literally rocked back and forth when sitting on it. I was not very impressed at all and in fact, I really felt let down. I am sure that that this review won’t get read by the people who needs to read it and I am not looking for anything out of it. Just wanted to make you aware of the things that could use a little help.

    Waited 10 minutes for somebody to come back to the desk to check me in. King size bed had a smaller flat sheet over the mattress pad (the mattress had a burn in it) instead of a fitted sheet. Tv just had static so you couldn’t watch anything. Only one bath and one hand towel in the room. A bubble in the ceiling about 12” round that looked like it was from a leak above. Grout in one corner of the bath was black. Address the sheet and towel issue with staff the next morning and they handled them. Forgot to mention the tv etc. I was tired after a 7 hour drive and work before I checked in and just needed sleep.

    The only 3.5 star rating in this hotel is the staff. The staff are very nice. Now the rooms are old. They smell old and nothing is updated. Sink and toilet lid were falling apart. Water wouldn’t stay warm. It actually turned cold while I was showering. I was really dissatisfied and expected more for a 3.5 star hotel. I would not stay here again. It’s need to be listing as a lower rating.

    Other than a water leak that made half of the room a little hazardous, the stay was excellent. And once I informed the front desk, he offered to move me.     Staff is friendly and problem resolving. As for the rest, at checking-in and going to the room, there was a strong smell kinda like cigarette, there were crumbs in the bed blankets (it seems they didn’t change them for new ones), toilet was moldy, shower head wasn’t working, everything is way too old, they were having issues with the towels they were lacking and breakfast terrible. I wouldn’t recommend to stay in this hotel, it’s not as I remembered.

    The hotel is DISGUSTING! The rooms smell. The vents had mold. The bathtub faucet leaked the whole time. The beds and towels were stained with some black stuff. The floors in the room were stained and nasty. There was some party when we stayed and people drunk and arguing outside our hotel room until 4am. Very awful place would not recommend at all. We actually ended up leaving early from our stay for another hotel because it was that awful.

    When we checked into our room it was freezing and cold air was blowing even though the thermostat indicated that the heat was on. When I went to the desk to let them know I was told that they were aware and that they couldn't get anyone out to fix it. The solution was to tell us to turn the fan off and offer extra blankets. It was miserable! Also, the area that is used for parties and receptions is in the center of the hotel. We needed to get up early and could not get to sleep because a party was going on right outside of our room. Definitely do not recommend.

    The breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaints were that they did clean the room at all during my 4 day stay ( schedule said they clean on Saturday, but no one cleaned my room while I was out all day) and there was an issue with the wake up alarm going off every morning 3 times, starting at 4:56 am! I reported it 3 times, unplugged the phone, but it continued to go off from a non-working phone in the front room that could be unplugged. If they had told me it couldn’t be fixed ( which they said on the last day) I would have asked for another room. They kept saying it would be taken care of.

    Hotel was quiet. Breakfast choice was disappointing with lukewarm spicy food / SW for breakfast. Breakfast staff just stood around and didn't refill coffee pot or add hot food, etc. One of my reasons for booking was because breakfast was included and wanted to start the day without having to stop our journey for food. I was very disappointed in the breakfast. Overall the hotel was nice enough to stay there again, if the breakfast was better.

    Had to be transferred to a different room because there was a thick ring of rust around the taps in the bathroom. Some of the rust easily rubbed off onto a tissue which suggested that housekeeping hadn't tried to remove the rust. Plus there were streaks up on the baseboards and we concluded the room was just dirty. The "new" room didn't have rust around the faucets but water just pooled around the place where the faucets joined the vanity and the water would just spread. The faucet had lime residue which easily came off on a thumb nail, so again the housekeeping must not feel it necessary to use scouring powder. The tub had loads of rust and there was a layer of dust under the TV. Couldn't find the hairdryer where the reception said it was located so they found one for me. It is just a tired old hotel that does not get the TLC it is in dire need of. However, the staff at reception were so helpful under the circumstances and it is a shame that the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired.

    The room had an extremely bad smell I’m not sure if it’s a cleaning solution they use or that it previously was a smoking room. The curtains outdated and the coffee pot very unclean I didn’t use it. I didn’t even undress I slept fully clothed. I didn’t know it was a pet friendly hotel. It wasn’t the carpet the floors looked beautifully installed but I felt unsafe we could tell it was an empty hotel plenty of rooms yet we were place in the last room at the end of the hall next too glass doors with slight opening between the two glass doors I definitely wouldn’t recommend I usually don’t leave reviews but I wouldn’t feel right if anyone got hurt or attacked there

    Leaky faucets with pink scum on bathroom floor, live flies around the coffee pot, feces on side of toilet, urine stains around toilet, floor lamp bases were rusted, ceiling and walls had water damage.     Called the desk and told them of the issues with lights and A/C- Heating, said they will send the maintenance man. The air filter in the low ceiling was so bad and not really sure any air could get through it I took photo of it. Ok now other notable things, the microwave looked like it went to war but the small room fridge was decent, the room furniture was nice but was kind back in the 70s.     I can live with a property being outdated as long as it's kept nice and clean. This delivers! Yes, this property is stuck in the 70s but it seems to be very well kept. Remember back in the ol' days when smoking wasn't a big deal and everyone smoked in the rooms? Well, it's got that old musty smell and vibe going on. Call it, nostalgic? Although the property is very well kept for it's age and rooms are very spacious with a separate living room area which I loved... the creeps come out at night! During the day it's lovely around the property but at night, it's scarey! I strongly urge this facility to hire a security gaurd for evening shifts to walk the property and keep the riff raff away. There was a homeless person trying to get in through the back doors just waiting for someone to walk in so they could run in behind them. It felt very, very unsafe at night. The staff were friendly and professional. The room rates are decent and the breakfast was much better than I even expected. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would.

    As I was checking in someone jumped out of one of the upper rooms, there was a giant steam cleaner in my room, stains everywhere and very bad paint jobs covering who knows what kinds of fluids. I cancelled my room for the night. The staff was very understanding. DO NOT STAY HERE, they refused a refund. Expedia tried their best. I waited a day or so to leave this review to see if I was overreacting, but after a couple of nights of sleep ( not here ), I stand by my comments and experience.

    Staff were so very nice, efficient and professional! My stay was so lovely! I got to say the breakfast buffet was truly amazing, well made, varied. The evening menu of the 8oz steak was a huge hit! So tender,so delicious and definitely a great price! The dining room staff, including D, Kerry were extremely helpful, considerate and made my stay feel like an extended family visit- comfortable and happy. The front desk staff were also very helpful, kind! Definitely a great, safe place to stay.

    The positives: the AC worked well in the room and there was free breakfast. Suite style room was spacious with a small mini fridge and microwave that both worked. The negatives: There was trash piled in the hallway, multiple stains on the furniture in my room, a urine-like odor coming from the carpet, stained sheets with what looked like a blue marker, and outdated appliances/fixtures. I was told to connect to the wifi in the living room of my suite but when I was in the bedroom, the wifi didn't reach at all so I couldn't do my work. Pancake machine was not working at breakfast due to a "circuit breaker" issue. I travel to Tucson regularly for business and will not be back to this hotel.

    We have stayed at this hotel several times and the rooms have no ventilation, specifically the bathrooms. So the rooms smell like mildew. I asked the front desk if we could spray or deep clean the bathroom so that we didn't have to smell the mildew and I was expecting them to spray some bleach cleaner, pinesol or something that would at least take the mildew smell away. They did the normal room cleaning only once while we were there in 5 days. Bathrooms really need some help with stronger bathroom deodorizers and cleaners. Our hotel room stunk like mildew. The carpets are disgusting and really need replacing. Our room #306 the carpeting was coming away from the wall (by the windows) and nails were sticking out. The staff at the hotel was wonderful and the restaurant staff was great as well. I really wish you would work on getting some air moving thru the bathrooms. We hung our bathing suits in the bathroom after swimming the first day and 3 days later they were still damp. We travel to Tucson 3 times per year and really love the location of the hotel, close to where we need to be. I'm really hoping to stay again if the mildew smell is taken care of. Thank you.

    We stayed in a King room. It was not the cleanest. My husband walked barefoot across the floor after his shower and had to clean his feet again before going to bed. The bed only had a sheet on it. We had to call for a blanket and when we got it, it had several holes in it and tears. The worst of the problems was that there were two bugs in the bed, and I had to kill them. The doors and knobs were sticky. The drapes were filthy as were the fabric chairs. The furniture was gouged and scratched and stained. Old mostly. The lobby was beautiful, and the registration lady was very sweet and helpful. The food was good. We ate dinner and breakfast in the little restaurant in the lobby.

    The hotel was quite empty, yet we were on the bottom floor, with other guests directly above us. We realized this upon receiving a mistaken 5 am wake-up call that likely was meant for the room above. Being jarred awake up by this call, the room upstairs was bustling with activity so it was difficult to get back to sleep. It seems a no brained to give guests a bit of space, as long as it is available. The bar closes far before advertised, so bring your own drinks if you’d like a nightcap. They do provide a nice breakfast. Good pool.

    We had come to drop off our kid to college which seems to be the hottest weekend of the year. This hotel is very dated and in bad need of a refresh. When we walked into our room and it was just as hot inside as it was outside, it would have been nice if they turned on the A/C prior to us coming. We turned the A/C on and still no change in the room temperature, we called the front desk, and she sent a maintenance guy up Anaan. Anaan was the only saving grace, he partially fixed it but told us to change rooms. He found a nice cool room for us which was next door and bought us a fan. This room, which was just next door to the one we had, was vastly different. The old room had paint peeling off the doors, stained carpet and a very old TV. This new room was much nicer and had a smart TV. I kept the fan because the A/C was not powerful enough to keep the room cool. The hotel was not full so a little upset that we were given an old room to begin with. Since the change in the room, our access key never worked so it was very frustrating to go back down and get our access back.

    When we first got in the room, it smelled like someone had smoked in it. The first night, the A/C stopped working. Tucson AZ in the summer. Needless to say, it was very hot. Went to the front desk, and the person working seemed to be bothered with it. Said she would try to send maintenance, didn’t hear anything. Went to the desk in the morning, and they said they had no records of it. At some point the A/C started working again. The continental breakfast, left so much to be desired. We won’t ever be going back

    This hotel needs renovation. It feels creepy and abandoned. The carpet throughout the whole place is nothing short of disgusting. The air conditioning system needs to be replaced. We had to switch rooms 3 times due to the moldy smell or the air did not work at all. Maybe it would have been a bit different if it was winter not dead summer. The thermostat in the room had scotch tape on it to hold in place. I felt like i was in an episode on American Horror Story(Hotel). They have alot of nerve charging over $100 a night. Only positive=no deposit.

    My mother was visiting from out of state and had previously stayed at this hotel. I tried to make the reservation online but received a message from Viscount saying I had to call in order to secure the reservation. Why? No explanation. I paid the entire reservation over the phone when the website said I did not have to secure any cost before the stay. In the 3 night stay - no maid service - not even an offer of towels. A hotel card is needed to access elevators - it was a luck of the draw as to which elevator would be working at any given time. The room had a living area with a tv and a sleeping area with a tv. The sleeping area tv only had 3 channels - CNN, ESPN, and an info channel. Why are the options different on televisions? No explanation. The windows shook when heavy vehicles drove by or when heavy foot traffic passed by the room. My mother was not able to get hot water from the shower - just from water entering the tub but she does not take baths. I was told I would receive an email receipt - I did not. I called the hotel to ask for one and was told they could not - I would have to contact Exedia. Well, I made the reservation through Hotels.com an then had to pay directly through the hotel in order to get the reservation. What a mess. After all of this my mother said she would still try this hotel again in the future. I would not.

    The hotel is very dated but we kind of enjoyed it. It's got a nostalgic 70s/80s vibe and it's easy to imagine that when it first opened it was probably a very nice hotel. We got one of the renovated rooms abdit was nice enough. Although the renovations are years old. The bed was a little. Unstable but comfortable. The char and the lamp both had a lean to them. But everything was clean. And the breakfast was on EOF the most decent free breakfasts I've had at a hotel. It's not perfect by any means, but the price was right and we were happy with what we got for our money.

    The price was fair. The pool wasn't cleaned. The furniture is out dated and had chips and tears.The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. There was a lump on one side of the bed. There wasn't enough tv stations to watch. The staff was very friendly. I like how big the suite was lots of room.The room was always cold and loved how the refrigerator worked kept things cold.

    The shape of the hotel was poor! It's clear that maintenance has gone down hill over the last year. We've stayed here several times and although it's dated never experienced this before.     My family and I did not enjoy our latest stay at Ramada by Wyndham Viscount Suites. The biggest reason was the AC never worked and so we opened window but was too noisy outside.     For the price there was no charging ports. The location of the electrical wall outlets were in a bad location to charge your devices. We've stayed at lower priced hotels that had several charging stations. Made it difficult to keep your phone close while charging.

    I got to my room & it was clean to the first sight. I went into the bathroom & a picture had fallen with broken glass covering the floor. I walked it & informed her that it was laying on the floor & there was broken glass covering the floor. I thought she called to have someone clean it up but no one arrived. On the 3rd night, I woke up at 12:45 AM with the feeling of something crawling on me. I pulled back the sheets & fount bed bugs!!! I grabbed one & brought it up to the front desk. Showed the man working & all he could do for me was make me change rooms. Not very concerned & emotionless about the situation. If it wasn't so late/early I would have left or slept in my car. Upon check-out I mentioned the bedbug situation again& got little to no concern or apology from the staff. I'm very disappointed & disgusted. I shouldn't have had to pay for my stay. I feel they need customer service training.

    If you stay here, go to Crave espresso bar down the street! DELISH. Now on to the things that made it less than ideal. I walked into my room and flipped the switch. Immediately, the light didn't work, so I had to physically turn on the light. Not the end of the world, but when we are talking about hotels we are talking about convenience and creature comforts so I think it's important to mention. A further two switches didn't function, which was frustrating, and the bathroom ceiling bulb flickered in a way reminscent of Hostel. The bedroom was comfortable and allowed in a lot of natural light, and it came with a large standard flat screen television. However, the television could only be turned on with a remote and when I reported it to the front desk, the agent wrote it down and said she'd tell maintenance. It was never rectified. This last thing is just for someone who lives with food restrictions. Most continental breakfasts don't have a fraction of what Viscount Suites provides. They should be applauded for the service and options. But there was cheese in everything, and no non dairy milk option for coffee. Most folks won't care, but it definitely put a damper on my experience.
