La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham NW Tucson Marana

Very clean and comfortable.

Room was very comfy. The one con is the tub faucet was dripping the entire time. We had a suite that had a full size fridge, micro and a large counter but no sink. The room had one sink in the entryway to be used as both kitchen and bathroom. That was awkward. Breakfast was good. Our last night we had neighbors across the hall that had a large dog that barked off and on throughout the night.

Breakfast could be a little better with options.

Everyone was friendly attentive. Staff very on top of things.

I asked for the invoice since I arrived to the hotel, they told me they were having issues with the system when I did my check-out but that they will send it during the day, 17 days have passed and they still haven’t provided the invoice, even though I have requested it several times.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I believe the lady who checked us in was named Kim. She was super nice. The hotel was clean. She was mopping the floors when we got there. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Property needs upgrading. Carpets in hallways and lobby are dirty. Furniture and cabinets were beat up and need replacing. I had to change my room due to a brown substance in the bathtub which looked like feces. The drawers on the dresser in my room would not stay in, because the floor in the room was so uneven that it caused the dresser to lean forward. Drawers kept coming open by themselves. The drawers are a hazard. Bottom line, my stay was not pleasant.

Began with room on 2nd floor, but the people in the room above us were REALLY noisy, stomping back & forth across the room. Kimberly, at the front desk was very helpful and moved us to a room on the 3rd floor (so no one was above us). Then our TV remote did not work, and after trying new batteries, Kimberly gave us a new remote, which finally worked. The final issue was people outside in the parking lot blasting their music from their car (with doors open so the whole area could hear). Again, Kimberly took care of the issue by going out and asking them to quiet down. Thanks to Kimberly and her efforts, our visit turned out okay. Thank you SO MUCH Kimberly!

The beds had cheaper mattresses, and the pillows were flat. There were hot breakfast choices, but it wasn’t very good at all. The building had fancy lighting, but the overall place seemed run down and not updated. Conveniently located to restaurants, and in a safe location.

First rate place to stay without a doubt. Great room and food. Just a fun place to stay and will stay there again.

Thin walls, very aged hotel, you can hear footsteps above you and conversation adjacent. Fan had no auto button. Water pressure non existent. Very bad coffee.

Rooms were outdated. The bathroom/shower and bathroom sink were in separate rooms from each other, making it impossible for one guest not to wake up another guest. At night they had construction work on the floor above us which made it impossible for us to sleep. Who would do this to their guests? After mentioning this to the front desk she said she was sorry, but they have no control over the construction times. This is the reason for my negative review.

Our room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our time around Tucson with visits to and hikes in saguaro national park.

The King suite was clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the full size fridge/freezer, table with 2 chairs and lounge sofa. Good breakfast variety of options with waffles, eggs, meat, potatoes and croissants. Helpful and friendly staff. Sage neighborhood and well lit parking. Highly recommend.

Always a good experience at La Quinta in Marana.

We did not sleep well. The bed VERY stiff. The pillows were like sleeping on rocks. VERY HARD, no cushion whatsoever. The rest was great.

The room was very nice, but we chose the hotel to use the hot tub and pool. Both were closed and they didn't seem too interested in fixing them.

Hot tub was gross, no lighting around the pool so it wasn't really usable to us. Breakfast was lacking variety and freshness. The entrance was very nice, but the rooms need some updating/cleaning. Overpriced for a quick stay.

The beds were comfortable. It could use a touch up renovation on the walls and carpet. The hallway carpets were dirty and smelly. The restroom had a strange smell. The room was clean and the night was quiet and peaceful. I don’t like that they are pet friendly as we do not travel with pets. The stay was okay. The price is a little too high for the room though.

Carpets throughout the property needed to be cleaned including the rooms with “questionable” stains near the beds. Visual mold in the shower / bath area and years of rust on the corner beads on the drywall corners. It seems to be a favorite of those south coming across to shop at the outlet mall across the freeway.

The room was great and shower had safety handles. Thought odd that their handicap rooms do not have a closet or place to hang clothes (verified with front desk staff). All staff very friendly and helpful

I have been staying at Days Inn & Suites, a Wyndham Hotel, for years, however my last stay at one in this same area was the absolute worst. So,when I found that La Quinta was also a part of the Wyndham family & saw the great reviews, I booked it right then. I can say with all honesty that I will never stay at the "Comfort" hotels anymore. From the moment you walk in to La Quinta, you are immediately greeted with a relaxed ambiance and staff that are always there to assist you 24/7. They have many more amenities & their breakfast was fantastic! As a pet/house sitter I was worried my frozen foods wouldnt fit into the freezer in my suite, so the lo ely young lady at the front desk actually offered to put it into their walk-in overnight & just retrieve it in the morning. Even though it is right off the highway, I didn't here one single vehicle. There is covered parking which is great at this time of the year in Tucson, AZ. The room was so clean & smelled amazing. I was even next to the the guest laundry & outdoor pool/hot tub/grilling area. This La Quinta went above & beyond my expectations & if need arises, will 100% be using this one again. Thank you all for a stress free experience.

It was just a weird layout. And the fire extinguisher was a bit too low. I understand handicap accessibility, but it was like right when turning the corner from the kitchen to the living room and my kids are just not ideal. I think placement should be different. Than that overall great good breakfast friendly staff.

Stayed at the La Quinta in Tucson for one night. Overall had a good stay. Did the pre-check in process that was texted to me on the road before arriving, but ultimately I think this made check in more complicated when I got there, so I wouldn’t bother with that. Location of hotel is great, lots of food options and shopping nearby. Parking area was large and easy (we were towing a trailer). Room was clean and bed quite comfortable. Would recommend bringing in your own pillow if you have it with you. AC worked well and wasn’t too loud. The breakfast in the morning was good and had options for everyone (coffee, juice, yogurt, bagels/bread/muffins, cereal, eggs/bacon/potato, waffles, fruit). Would stay here again.

This is one of the cleanest La Quintas I've stayed at. Staff was duper friendly. Only negative is that I stated online that we'd check out and house cleaning barged in early.

We had someone staying in the room above us and all the running, jumping around someone was doing made you think they were going to come thru the ceiling . I called the front desk and asked them to contact the occupant of that room and get them to walk like a normal person and not use their room for a track meet. Well nothing changed. This was the worst hotel experience I have had in over 20 years. NEVER EVER stay at a La Quinta again.

Room cleaned only once after multiple asks for service.pill out bed was extremely difficult to pull out. Impossible to put back. Walked to desk for sheets and a blanket and was giving a sheet, that’s all. Told the sheet was a blanket?? It was not. Froze all night. Not told the gym was not operational. Disappointing. Breakfast was good. Service was not good at all, and at $200 per night I expected far more.

Firstly, the staff is excellent, every person we interacted with was kind, helpful and very professional. The room was clean and comfortable, but it could use a bit of renovation. The pool area was a bit dingy, but in fairness, it is off season. The breakfast was good, not a large selection, but clean, well maintained and there is an attendant to help with any of the machines. It is very reasonable value for the price. For an economy stay, I would recommend.

Nice and comfortable room that seemed clean. Location was convenient and parking easy. Staff was friendly and check-in was efficient. Breakfast was typical bad "contienental" style with processed foods and powdered eggs. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was being forced to listen to Fox News propagandistic garbage during breakfast - that may prevent me from returning. Also, recommend a dedicated themos for hot water that does not also get used for coffee - my hot tea just tasked like stale gross coffee water.

Shower rod was broken, so both ends of the curtain would just slide to the middle. Shower curtain isn't water repellent. Used three of the towels to soak up the water outside of the tub. Other wise, room was very clean and comfortable.
