Great Hotel! I will be back!

Clean, quite rooms.

I was put off by the transactional check in process...granted we checked in at 10pm...but it was a long day for us too....no coffee pods in room...and bottled water is $5 in room...nice hotel...maybe everyone just needs to take it up a level.

It was horrible from the moment I arrived to check in; I felt discriminated against. They asked for my ID and credit card, but couldn't find my reservation. Finally, they gave me the keys but didn't tell me where the pools, the water park, or my room were located. We set off but couldn't find it; we asked three different employees where that room number was, and all three said they didn't know. Another guest staying there told us where it was—on the third floor. We carried all our things up the stairs, only to find it was the wrong room; I had booked a room with two beds, but the one they gave me had only one. I had to go back to the front desk, where someone else helped me. I explained the problem, but she couldn't find me in the system; I had to show her the reservation confirmation number and photos of the two-bed room. She asked who had helped me earlier, and I pointed to the person standing next to her. She said, "He gave you the wrong room," and told me she would switch me to a room on the second floor. She didn't tell me where the room was either, so we had to carry everything back down. Two hours later, we realized there were elevators—something those employees never mentioned. It seems like they don't like their jobs. I felt discriminated against and ignored; I was treated as if I were invisible. This is the worst hotel.

Best casino in AZ, the decor makes you feel like you are in Vegas...without all the crowds!

The servers out by the pool are horrible they are not trained properly we are regulars there and this was our worst experience we had a cabana the server would take forever to come we had to walk to the bar to order our food took forever I don’t know if it was the kitchen that was backed up or the server would pick up the food on time another thing is for a busy Sunday they had 1 bar tender only there was always a line to order drinks and the guest had to walk up to order because the servers they have out there have no idea what they are doing they look confused when you talk to them or when your trying to order they walk away over all it’s bad we been going there for over 13 years and the service get worse every time for the amount we pay to spend the day out by the pool in a cabana we should receive a great experience great food and the thing that upset me the most was that after having the worst server I still had to tip her 18 % we paying over 500 dollars . I really hope management gets on this because there was several people upset about how bad the service was

Check in was rough but loved the pool

Fun place. Helpful staff Just a thought. They want to conserve water, but have towels.Hanging in the shower area. I was one person in the room and there were multiple towels and washcloths in that area. Which I assume all have to be taken out and washed. I would suggest find a new place or only put one shower towel in there.

Hotel is very nice. Excellent pool and hot tub area. However though the staff was good the property is understaffed and the steakhouse ran out of their featured item long before closing. This was a primary reason for staying. Very disappointed in this part of the visit.

Stayed 5 business days here and really enjoyed the stay! House keeping and room service was EXCELLENT. Complimentary valet was very helpful. Both hotel & casino staff were helpful and friendly. Amenities were okay, 1 out of the 5 days the pool was closed due to staffing issues. The Estrella water slide was out of service the whole stay. Overall, a good experience and I would book again!

This was our first time here but definitely not the last. We stay for convenience since we attended a concert in the AVA. Great rooms and the bar in the swimming pool has a great staff and good prices.

The one of the 2 restaurants that are open on Sunday was understaffed and took forever people actually walked away from waiting at the bar for food. The pool was closed for the one full day we were there I understand there was an incident but when one of the main reasons that’s why you go it should be compensated not just $25 house credit. Maybe another night on what would be a Tuesday in the summer in Tucson. The Hotel manager was unhelpful and had a bit of an attitude. We have been there many times and I play poker there. It seems like is is getting worse now each time you go.

Clean property with friendly staff and good amenities! Nice pool, fun casino with cool look, and decent options for food. Ume could be a little cleaner and friendlier, Steakhouse is a little plain and quite expensive…but overall not bad.

We enjoyed the lively casino and beautiful pool. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Our favorite restaurant was Streetwise for their pizza and sandwiches.

Nice big, clean room. Check in was easy. Parking garage a plus. During the day, music from poolside was loud but not bad. It was shut down early enough and it was quiet all night. Not into gambling but the casino was huge.

We arrived later than planned. We were super happy the pool was open late. It was warm and a needed break after too much driving.

Property and stay were excellent. Good food. Clean resort. All staff were friendly and polite. Exception was Sunday evening bartender in the High Limit area. Ignored us for almost 10 minutes and had 1 customer at the time. I finally set my watch for 1 minute longer, then we were going to walk. Made it with 26 seconds. Everything else was 100%.

Very clean, excellent stay, and amenities for the whole family to enjoy. Overall, highly recommend and will return.

Guy who checked me was miserable. Gave me second floor view of roof rocks and flat out ignored my request for a higher floor. Majority of staff I encountered acted like I was an outsider and Room needed a deep clean. Furniture hasn’t been moved to be cleaned under in a long time. Decor is tired, chipped, and over stayed its aesthetic value. Bathroom had stains on the floor. If you win in the casino and don’t share whatever staff thinks is adequate for a tip they will openly talk about you, roll their eyes etc. It was not an enjoyable time. I will definitely not be back and given poor attitude of staff I will not be visiting their new property.

Everything is clean, beatiful, and the staff is wonderful! This was a great place for a short, relaxing, minication, that will definitely be repeaded offend. The food was delicious and well priced, restaurants were clean and staff was great, pool area was that of a top resort, all that was missing, but not needed was the ocean.

We had two cabanas, but they ran out of a lot of things to drink that were on the menu.

The resort was awesome! The staff were great and the pool was awesome. Will visit again.

Love this place!! The rooms have always been great and the staff is exceptional. Been here twice with my 26 yr. old daughter and she enjoyed it as well. Will definitely be going back. Love the desert sky at night and going to the casino for slots and plenty of restaurants to eat in.

This was a wonderful stay! I booked my room on a whim and had a great time here. Gorgeous pool area, friendly staff, fun casino, nice room, and the steak house was incredible. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved everything about it, big spacious room, clean, water pressure was great!

We were there just as a stop over on our trip to Arizona. We plan on returning and staying a few days. The only complaint is that there were people at the pool who were a loud and stayed until 2 AM. We had a poolside room on the 2nd floor. If security was roaming the area they could have suggested that those guests lower their volume.

Golf course was very nice, as well.

Everything was excellent with one exception the bar was not open next to the pool Sunday afternoon. It would have been nice if they would’ve had staff checking on people out by the pool to see if they needed any beverages. This hotel has a beautiful pool area. Rooms were immaculate and I did have a pizza later in the evening and it was excellent.

Great stay at this casino hotel. We had a back side room with view of pool and landscape. Beautiful view on 5th floor. Casino was fun, we like video poker and its a separate area from activity and slot machine noise. If wanting to go to international buffet be there before they close at 7:00 pm on a Sat. Missed it and had to go to Umo—chinese food.

Pool side seating was comfy. Maybe update the cushions a little bit. Pool area is very nice and clean. Did not go in the hot tub a little too warm outside for that.

My only concern is that I still not have received an email receipt. And the jacuzzi was closed on Sunday while they were trimming palm trees.

After that initial issue, the rest of my stay was perfect.

Outdoor pool area was great/clean. Fire pits were an excellent touch. My only knocks would be that they don’t let you bring drinks from the hotel bar to the casino even though the two are roughly 100’ apart and the casino is smokey. I didn’t think the hotel was, but the casino has a stale smoke smell and there’s always a cloud in the air. And the gal guarding against drinks going from one area to the other mights as well have been guarding the Berlin Wall—her customer service was terrible.

The grounds are beautiful. It would be very nice to see the poolside bar open before April 6 - there are dozens of people baking in the late March 95 deg heat with no refreshment in sight.

Our room was very nice. The pool was awesome except for the fact that it appeared quite dirty with bugs floating around everywhere. I did not go in to the pool but sat down there. Very disappointed that the pool bar was not open. Also think they should pay more attention to cleaning up the hallways and elevators.

Food in the Mexican and Asian restaurants was not very good.

I like to come up there often and during the week it's very affordable. But the weekends have gotten way too expensive for me to be able to come up every month like I normally do.

We enjoyed our stay Casino Del Sol. The room was clean and very comfortable. The choices of restaurants was also very convenient. Our family also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely stay at Casino Del Sol again if we go back to Tucson.

Room was not cleaned in a timely manner had to wait till 6 and 830 pm one night, no waitress taking drink orders at pool, got food poisoning

The experience was absolutely excellent and deserving a five star rating. The part that lowered it to three (being generous) was that the bed was an absolute rock and so uncomfortable neither of us slept hardly at all. Asked to get a mattress topper or something, but they didn’t have anything.

Clean well kept hotel but paper thin walls. Room next door had tv so loud til 1 am every night. Hard to sleep. Pool area very nice and great happy staff

The pool was amazing, rooms were clean, the casino was so unique and fun, and the staff were so friendly. Jada was always at the front desk and was so helpful and sweet!! We did notice the walls were pretty thin when the people next door got back to their room at 3am. Thankfully we were already awake to go catch our flight back home. Above that it was such a fun place to be for vacation!

The room was comfortable. We had fun dining at the various restaurants and slots. The outdoor pool was beautiful and perfect temperature. We hope to get back soon.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable along with pillows. The AC worked well, and we had a nice view. The onsite buffet was not as good as we had hoped as the food was not very fresh and the stereo system was so loud we could barely hear one another during diner. The pool and fire pits outside added a nice touch. Overall a good place to stay with resort like feel.

I arrived at 1pm for a conference. I checked in and they did not have any rooms ready, they told me I would receive a call when my keys were ready.

I was disappointed with the room at first sight. The mattresses seemed to be thin and looked not inviting. They turned out to be ok. But luckily we had 2 queen beds so we used the bedding off of one bed to put on ours. The bedding was too thin and needed extra blankets. Our fridge would freeze most things stored inside on the shekf. Our room was clean and kept clean all but one day. We ended up having to ask for more towels and toilet paper. Staff was great. The pool was great. The hot tubs could have been warmer. The restaurants were ok. Mobey's restaurant was not great. They were out of items on the menu and some food items were not great tasting. Had poached eggs that tasted like vinegar. But overall it was a great stay. Everyone was very friendly.

We enjoyed the clean well appointed double queen room with a great view from the 3rd floor. Check in was quick. The bed and bedding were superior. A/C was adjustable and responsive. The price was a great deal for the value especially during the Tucson Gem show. The room was spacious with a comfy upholstered chair and ottoman. Their were plenty of outlets but no USB. The adjoining casino and restaurants made for a fun convenient total package. The bathroom is modern and large, well equipped and stocked with lovely, heavy towels and pleasant toiletries.

It was a class act all the way around. Switching rooms (my trip was extended) went smoothly, in room dining was A+, food, service, timing, all of it! The people who work for CDS are super nice and go out of their way to make your stay extra special. Casino, even tho I lost my a$$, I still had a great time!

My husband and I had a great stay celebrating our Anniversary! The room was beautiful, clean, with robes and turn down service. We stayed on the 10th floor, Sky Level. Ordered room service for breakfast and it came on time and still hot. We will definitely be back!

The refrigerator was tiny and there was no microwave. The upholstered chairs were uncomfortable. The only towelbars were inside the shower behind a heavy door. However,

There were a few things I noticed that stood out about my stay. 1st The staff (everyone we spoke with was extremely nice and helpful) 2nd the room was emasculate and 3rd The room was underwhelming and outdated but Instill thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Basically a casino and food court onsite and a comfortable lobby with all the NFL playoff games on tvs throughout.

I wouldn't book SkyKing again

The room was very clean. My only complaint was no heavy drapes. Just shear, see through drapes. We were on 5th floor so see through was not a problem but the sun coming in earlier than we wanted to wake up was a small annoyance. Other than that we had a wonderful weekend. Moby and the buffet were great places to eat.

Room was well furnished but it was a bit dirty. Convenient to the casino playing options. Food at the buffet restaurant was good. Casino allows indoor smoking in one area, so you notice the smoke smell.

The guy right next to my room was snoring really. I could not sleep so I asked for a ear plugs, and I was told by her condesendingly to 'yeeeah maybe try to get some at the gift shop maybe". I am frequent travelers, I know hotels have ear plugs so I insisted and got some. Very rude concierge. Also no microwave.

I booked a king standard room, when checking in , lady at front desk said i booked two queens. I said no and showed her my reservation that said King. She then got sarcastic with me and said anytime you book with a third party you get what you get.. She wasn't very nice about it. I explained that i didn't know they existed but thanks to the third party company i found the place.

No shampoo or conditioner provided. Housekeeping miss. No cleaning of room. If we were supposed to ask for this we should have been informed. Lunch at Mobys was poor. Hamburger way over cooked and the side of coleslaw instead of fries was served in the little tin you usually get when you ask for dressing on the side of a salad. 3 forkfuls of coleslaw. Really? Service was way below par. Check in person was rude and did not respond to my questions. However the checkout person was wonderful.

Everything was good except the staff, meaning the front desk lady that checked us in. Not very friendly nor helpful. She didn't even let me know where our room was. It is our first time at this hotel so we didn't know where the rooms were. Like I said before, other than that it's all good.

Fantastic view fantastic room. You could tell the room was built with quality in mind. The shower was amazing at great water pressure.

Room service was excellent generous portions, fair prices, and everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered the fruit and bread basket along with the salmon lox, and both were amazing. It truly felt like a little desert oasis. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!

Clean, good food, great staff.

Upon arrival, I wouldn’t say the clerk was overly friendly. The room was fine with a nice view. It was raining like crazy so instead of pool time, we walked the casino floors after dinner at the buffet. The buffet was well maintained and service there was prompt.

My room door was left open after service and I reported the matter to management but I heard nothing further.

Chairs at pool were raggedy, sticky and had ants. Pool and the hotel are nice at first glance but the details are not. Staff attitudes ok. Place has a depressing vibe. I will never step foot in this hotel again. Don't trust the pictures or reviews of this hotel.

It was great

This was a nice stay for my family of 3. Lots of dining options and a great pool and hot tubs.

The gym was small but enough equipment to get a workout in. Golf course was really nice. Staff was average. Room service food was good. I would skip the buffet.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Casino del Sol Resort.

Clean hotel

One thing for sure… it’s a lot better than Ak-chin Harrahs. We decided we don’t have to drive the extra 2 hours to Ak-chin. Casino Del Sol, will be our go to place, from here on. Bye-Bye Harrahs Am-chin.

Pool and property are excellent. Casino is very tight.

The pool slide is closed for the “season” but it’s advertised in the lobby open everyday. There is also no food option at the pool and you can’t bring outside food. Was very upset as this is the reason we chose this hotel.

The room was extremely clean and comfortable! Felt right at home with my family of four! The food at Bellisima Italian was amazing

Beautiful property and rooms.

The property was very clean and the restaurant selection was good, although there really wasn’t any bars where you can grab bar bites while enjoying cocktails and then lobby bar not to open until 4pm on a Saturday was a bit odd. There lack of a standard sized pillow in a King Bed room was annoying as we had to ask flee extra pillows since the pillow on the bed were the size of throw and had no support. The a/c unit in the room only went down to 65, so it was very stuffy at night even in the fall. I think the biggest attraction the hotel has going for it was the pool and pool bars, but unfortunately due to the weather, we could not utilize them.

I love the resort but the area around it has higher crime rates than I would like... but if you are parked at the hotel and stay on property, it's great. The pool is nothing special.

Property was amazing front desk staff did not smile or seem friendly or welcoming at all. Pool staff was exceptional! I went to the Japanese restaurant and had a horrible experience.

Scheduled a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday. I had a 2 hour spa treatment scheduled for her. About 90 mins before, I got two text messages saying that her sessions were canceled. When I called to ask, I was simply told that there was no therapist that day. I attempted to explain to them that that would have been good to know well beforehand as opposed to just before her appointments, because this was supposed to be my wife’s birthday present. The lady on the phone just said sorry and left it at that. No attempt to make it better. Ruined the whole point of us staying there and I had to come up with another plan for her birthday. Not cool.

Casino

I honestly did not expect such a nice facility. We had a great time and a great stay and will definitely return in the future.

The only complain that I have is that there was no hot water. Just luke warm.

We had one of the nicest dinner. I think I’ve experienced in years. We went to the PY steakhouse. I cannot recommend it more highly. The only thing that disappointed was my glass of Chardonnay. It was not as I expected. I did get the opportunity to taste the Chardonnay, I let them know. It did not have quite the flavor I was looking for for my scallops. My husband‘s ribeye steak was over the top. The whole wide experience in the restaurant was incredible. We have a sky level room. The room is very well appointed down to the smallest detail. This is some of the best in room coffee. I have had the pleasure of drinking.

Amazing hotel and pool. Different restuarants inside so you dont really need to leave. Only disappointing thing was that the bar for the pool area was closed even though it said open from 11-7pm. Would stay here again for sure.

The room was well maintained and quiet and the Casino offered a lot of gaming and restaurants. A very nice stay with reunion/conference facilities.

The property is good and location etc. Inside its basic clean, you should really try to keep up the cleanliness in the rooms. It isn't dusted and that would make a huge difference, and also the fridge should be cleaned after each check out.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Multiple restaurants from very affordable to noce steak house. Casino is so beautiful it is designed like a Italian village in the round. The pool hot tub also in the round with stone arch ways "blue sky and clouds with changing light. Marble everywhere. Very upscale rooms with fabulous rain shower. Will definently return had luck in the casino too!

The rooms were fine but customer service could have been better. Very dismissive and unprofessional when asking questions for our stay and especially with the pool usage. Both shifts where rude and dismissive

If you want towels don’t plan on staying here, you literally have to fight for them. Our room was booked with 4 people & I was told the max numbers they could give us was 3. I only got 4 bc I raised a big commotion & on top of that 2/3 staff I had to talk to about this we’re not nice.

Pool and casino in one place is great

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our shower was not very clean, lots of hairs on shower floor and around toilet. We loved happy hour at Prema.

It’s nice to check in a hotel and not have to leave the property. Several reasonably priced dining options, a great pool and the spa treatments are wonderful!

Every time I come to Son, I try to stay here. The faculty is amazing and the hotel is the best. The casino is a plus with all the food, games and drinks!

The property in general was good. The casino was excellent, many slots and tables. The huge disappointment was the service at the check-in as well as the restaurant. If I could give those two areas less than one I would. The people need a lesson in customer service and an attitude adjustment. It’s too bad because the casino in general would have been a nice stay, but the people downgrade it.

I’ve called almost a week in advance to add amenities but during check in it wasn’t added to my room due to lack of materials, as I was explaining how upset I was Richard from the front desk immediately offered to get the general man. Involved there was no hesitation to offer complimentary replacements and explained the situation which I understood completely and they still went above and beyond and made sure my stay was up to par, still was providing the best additions to our room which wasn’t necessary but appreciated, my wife still had fun and I can say she had a great birthday will stay again if the general manager and Richard is working that day haha, they heard our concerns and provided the best costumer service

It was great!!! The casino is beautiful with lighted sky and clouds. The marble, paintings, etc. throughout the hotel was very nice. The hotel and casino employees were always kind and helpful. There are six restaurants. We ate in UME. Everything was perfect. The bartender was so nice. I would definitely stay there again, but for more days.
