The room had multiple maintenance issues: a broken toilet paper holder hanging off the wall, a toilet seat so loose it shifted when used, dead USB ports near the bed, and a main room light that did not work. The sink faucet barely reached into the basin, making it awkward and unpleasant to use. The bed was worn out and uncomfortable, with springs causing back pain. The desk area was also useless for working because there was no desk chair and no accessible outlets; the nearby plugs were already taken by the lamp and coffee maker. The TV setup was confusing. We had to call the help desk just to find out a second hidden remote was needed, and the channel selection was still very limited. The safety lock on the room door did not work properly, which is unacceptable, especially with children. The lobby smelled strongly of smoke, breakfast was limited and unwelcoming, and guest services were on their phone or slow. The photos and ratings did not match reality. The property was much more worn down than advertised, the pool had no shade, loud explicit music was being played, and the overall atmosphere did not feel safe or family friendly. We would not stay here again.

We liked the room and it was clean! We were not pleased with the tv not working properly! The light switches at the entrance of the room doesn't work!

It was in a convenient location. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was great. I didn't like having to walk all the way around the building to get access the service desk. They said that the doors were being renovated and we could not access door with a key card. The floor of pool was very rough. All three children had hurt toes. Elevator was not in working order.

I understand that the property has undergone recent renovation, but some of the "issues" we noted in our room could have been "caught" if a proper "inspection" had been done. Our room, 137, did not have a microwave. There were a couple electrical outlets did not work and 1 lamp that did not work at all (by the coffee pot). Baseboards were not effectively glued down in a couple spots (in bathroom and by front door) and there was a "line" that had not been patched and painted in the ceiling. There was blue paint splatter on the toilet tank and lid and on the floor and bathroom counter. Could have insulated better, could hear the neighboring room and the traffic outside was somewhat loud.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Nice pool and low cost. I made a complaint and was told I would be contacted as was not. Was hoping my concerns would be addressed, but I guess not. Therefore I’ll be posting pictures of my findings on Google. Very disappointed. Especially since this is my third stay and my first issue.

First I would like to say the room and bath were clean. There was not microwaves in the rooms we rented which stunk. No reheating left overs. The breakfast was not great but edible. Coffee was very good. Access to the property was a little challenging. Now for my big complaint. We had two rooms and both rooms had streaming TV's. The internet was so bad that you couldn't watch any show without buffering every minute or so and total loss of connection all the time. Selections were horrible. I was told by the desk there was Direct TV ????? Was told they would send someone to reset but never showed. I don't usually leave these type of reviews but was just really frustrated after reading other really good reviews. If you just need a place to sleep this will do.

Clean room, but shower was clogged, was able to unclog it. Towels, bed, and sheets were very clean. Couldn’t find wifi password. Front desk was very helpful and nice. Overall, great price. Bathroom counter is a great size to get ready.

Booked based on the reviews I read. Turn out to be nice, clean, friendly staf! Did not try their breakfast…fast asleep. Overall a great two nights, recommended!

This hotel was definitely giving motel vibes. The experience was nothing like what was advertised. The elevator wasn’t working, there were roaches, and we couldn’t even find our room because everything was confusing and poorly marked. On top of that, the pool didn’t work either. I was told something completely different before booking, so this stay was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

They are nice and the rooms are nice. I highly recommend.

The staff was very courteous, which made it better. Internet was horrible reception. The room was clean, but not in good condition. Paint chipping off the ceiling and walls, ripped bedsheets, burned out lights. The breakfast would have been okay, but they only serve full on the weekend. Monday and tuesday i had to request fruit and yogurt. Disappointing because of positive previous reviews.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this motel was given the very reasonable pricing. The included breakfast was great and included hot scrambled eggs and sausage as well as many other items. The breakfast foods were all fresh. The room was very clean, comfortable and included modern items such as USB ports... I highly recommend this motel

Like the faucet sprout is too close to the back edge of the sink, texture and painted right over one of the electric outlet in the bathroom, The bottom edge of the main door was misaligned that made it difficult to open. The TV was very nice and big but have no local channel, to make it worse since it's total internet dependent from the app but the internet is too bad for streaming and some of time that is no internet. so the TV will not do anything. on the other hand the bed and the sheet are very nice.

Some tourist brochures in the lobby would be nice. (maybe they were somewhere else?) Some bacon/ fried eggs and standard black teas for breakfast would be nice as well. I think every room should have a tub. ( Obviously except for handicapped) House cleaning was excellent.

We only stayed for a night. The person at the front desk was nice, but the room was bad. The sheets that didn’t feel clean, broken dressers, the heat wouldn’t come on. We slept on top of the covers and didn’t use the pillows. Overall uncomfortable experience.

Affordable price and peaceful location Washroom doesn't have exhaust. And lacks basic amenities, they should at least a water fountain for drinking water. You can't get water at complimentary breakfast.

Nothing. There were multiple roaches in our room. We did not feel comfortable staying in the room and immediately left. We requested a refund and the hotel has been completely unresponsive and ignoring us.

Upon arrival we noticed a baby roach in the bathroom and the 2nd night we discovered a huge cockroach crawling up the side of the wall (pictured below). Frustrated with this 2nd encounter within just a couple days of our stay, front desk was contacted, and accommodations were made for another room. I was a bit concerned at this point because staff reacted very poorly to our situation and acted as if this wasn't a new concern for this hotel. Upon moving to another unit around 12am, another roach was spotted by one of the queen beds less than 30mins of being in the newly accommodated room. Completely fed up with this matter, and not receiving any real resolution we requested a refund. It has been a week now and I have called every day. The front desk staff said I would have to speak to a manager and when I asked when the manger would be in, they give me and day and time, and when I call to my surprise the manager isn't in. This cycle has repeated for the last 4 calls. I even sent an email on July 24th, 2025... It is August 1st, 2025, and not a single reply. This hotel stay put quite a damper on our trip, and on top of it all I'm still battling to receive my refund I was promised I'd get for this inconvenience! This is by far the nastiest hotel experience I have ever had, and I have stayed in quite a few hotels these past few years. The Wi-Fi lacked so bad the tv would stay on for about 10 minutes before blanking out and attempting to reconnect. In the middle of July, the pool was muggy, and we didn't even attempt to get in it. Breakfast was so terrible you could hear other tenants discussing the breakfast. They were bringing out yogurt 2-4 at a time, people having to say, "oh no you can have this one"... I have never in my life had a rationed complimentary hotel breakfast until now. We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't even get someone to take out our trash, change dirty linen to clean, or even simply tidy up.

Heating unit required call to front desk to activate. Also, TV was left on previous occupants’s info. Not easy to switch to the house Dish antenna. Gave up and went to sleep.

The towel inside the room had someone hair on it. The staff did not clearly tell me where my room was and I had to search for it. The breakfast had burnt scrambled egg. There was no sausages, mashed potato and gravy, or fruit. The food was very limited and low quality.

Did not stay for my booking. Booked a suite and it had a clogged toilet with feces in it. Then they downgraded me to a regular room, no discount offered, and the cable wasn’t working in that room. They said they were sending someone to check and after waiting over 20 minutes no one showed up. I just check out at that time. Wasn’t even there an hour.

There was a horrible smell as soon as I walked in the room it just it didn’t seem safe for what I heard from my clients. I’m a massage. Therapist and I use different hotels as a meeting point because it’s safer in most occasions than having them come to my home because I own a mobile Massage company. I will never stay here again. I left two hours after I checked in.

Unfortunately, the rooms had large cockroaches, which is absolutely disgusting. They offered me another room, but I still didn’t want to stay because it was in the same condition. The first night, nothing happened, but on the third night, I found a large, fat cockroach crawling on the walls, and I killed it. The next morning, I found another one just as large and fat. I stayed again, but all they offered was an excuse, saying it was “tree cockroaches.” I replied that, regardless, they were still cockroaches. They refused to give me even 50% of a refund. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. I have photos and videos as proof.

Leave some the other 2 days. Beds were cozy . Overall I would stay here again because of the location to hwy 78 and surrounding interstates nearby. Guest were noisy and obnoxious at 3am and it kinda sucked on 2 of my stays. The phone does not work in the room and I made it known to front desk staff.

All the staff we came in contact with, even just in passing, were friendly and welcoming, especially the breakfast attendant. Our room was clean and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms. It's not the Ritz but definitely get bang for your buck here

The rooms look much better than the outside. Everything was modern and smelled clean! Even the bathroom fixtures and corners were extremely clean. My only complaints were 1) I booked two rooms that were to be joined, but had to be separated from kids room & 2 room deposits. **2) housekeeping was right outside our door when my son closed it & he immediately needed to go back in to get his headphones. The guy didn’t want to let my son in saying it’s pass his checkout which we had 7 minutes til check out. And kept giving us excuses why my son couldn’t go in for 30 seconds to get his property. If it wasn’t for that, I would give them a great review. The front desk clerk was nice and helpful

Not a horrible stay but had to leave a night early and they would not return the last night even though I told them 3 days ahead of time.

Does not appear to be a family friendly hotel . Great deal of traffic and undesirable looking individuals hanging around watching. Rooms seem somewhat newly renovated but still have an old stench. I would not book there again.

This was a wonderful staycation. I needed time to get away and this was the perfect spot. Everything was perfect. Even enjoyed a day at the pool and met some awesome people. Definitely coming back.

Great hotel! Nice little hidden gem. Very clean rooms, cleaned daily. THE ONLY ISSUE is basically this hotel has zero internet access. Basically no connection in that aspect. Staff were excellent and room was super clean. Also lobby / breakfast were great. Lot of families staying while I was there, felt much safer than options the same price. If they fix the internet, this place is really great. Older building, but well maintained for the price. Was pleased to stay there while my condo AC was repaired.

Now the worst of this day is the outside the outside does not match the inside. The outside speaks motel. There were liquor bottles everywhere the smell of weed from the outside. The pool is OK there were families there with their kids enjoying the pool that was nice. The outside is much to be desired. If they could just spend a little more TLC on updating the outside that would be great. And also with the effort to try to remodel and create a different environment require that guest come to the breakfast area with clothes on no one wants to come to the breakfast area and guest have what is appear to be underwear and or very small pajamas that does not give I want to eat breakfast. But overall stay the room I have no complaints about the room itself.

i was impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. i stayed at this hotel while attending a funeral for a family friend and became emotional in the lobby and Sarita was very kind and brought me a tissue. A very nice example of human kindness.

We were on the first floor and at 3 am another guest sat in the car and idled at least 15 min. while their tailpipe faced our room and made it unsafe to breathe. Very loud rain coming from the drainpipe and door wasn’t completely sealed do we heard it loudly.

Continental breakfast was very good. The room was neat and clean. Water force in the shower was slow but is a decent stay.

Very impressed! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and super helpful. Our room didn't have a microwave so I asked and they got me one. It was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Eggs everyday we were there and then added sausage on the weekend days. I was very satisfied but when you factor in what I paid, it becomes even more impressive! Would have been nice if the laundry was working but that wasn't a make or break thing. Would highly recommend.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. AC was good and cold. We mostly just slept there so it was fine for us. It's close to Stone Mt Park and I felt reasonably safe there.

The hotel it self is nice. Except they are in the process of renovating and we did not have all the amenities. No microwave, tv was half working. It was busy and they had only one person at the desk.

The shower was amazing! The room was clean. Breakfast was ok at best. Avoid the elevator closest to the road, that was straight uo scary!

This was an ok place to stay they had to move me out of the first room because it wasn’t clean and when I asked for towels after my first night around 7 pm they were unable to accommodate so know your room gets cleaned every other day before your stay and that you will have to request things from housekeeping during their working hours otherwise. Would I stay here again- maybe if nothing else were available.

Check in was super faat. The property was full of life when we pulled up. Families were swimming and playing music my son said it was a fun place. By 1030ish everyone turned the music down and we were able to get a good nights sleep. My only real complaint would be the barn style door to the bathroom. We could see each other in all our business. But the place was clean, the atmosphere was family friendly and the beds were decent. I would stay again.

I liked how quiet it was, and check in was quick and smooth. I didn’t like how the restroom looks like a hospital restroom and the hot water was only lukewarm.

Not sure what people expect when staying at a hotel. Never ran out of hot water. 3 showers prior to checkout. Clean sheets. Working ac with ALL buttons on controls unlike pictures represent in other reviews.

The hotel room didn't seem clean. There was mold in the bathroom and the shower water ran onto the floor. The fridge wasn't cold and the AC unit was loud.

The elevators don't function and the buttons will give you minor electric shock. The receptionist admitted that the cleaning people received shocks. Rooms don't have any microwaves so if you want to warm up anything you have to go to the lobby. This is the first hotel I stayed where there's no microwave. I didn't expect a continental breakfast before booking but i was disappointed to see few items available. I had to ask the lady to bring some banana/orange etc. from the back room. She wouldn't put them out. There's only coffee which also gets taken away after breakfast hours. No drinks for the kids. The plaster facade is falling away from the building. Pool is dirty. I had don't disturb sign on the door but the cleaning people still entered our room. This hotel is owned by Indian and they have taken the cheapness to the next level. This hotel does not meed american standard at all and best western should take notice I will not ever stay in a best western hotel.

The room is big and clean ; the neighborhood is good; only small drawbacks: 1) some noises from from outside and neighbors; the hotel needs to spend 11 minutes to check the room before returning the deposit. A little too long .

So we had the worst room. First off we were supposed to get 2 Queen beds and they were just Doubles. And they made all these noises every time you moved. When you walked by the bathroom sink area it reeked of cat urine! Was horrible. No place to hang anything. Shower was dirty with human hair and also around the bottom of the toilet.One of the WORST Best Westerns we have stayed in.

The only thing that I see is that you will have to let the hot water run in the shower for awhile in order for it to get nice for you.... and maybe they need to turn up the hot water heater a bit because it wasn't all that hot... There were times we needed to find someplace safe, affordable, & decent to stay while in the Atlanta area. We discovered this place while in Stone Mounain and we loved it so much & couldn't find anything even CLOSE to being as nice, or as safe in Atlanta so we were willing to drive the 30 mins from Atlanta to stay here. I feel like this place is seriously the best kept secret of places to stay in the Atlanta area. The outside looks deceiving. But the rooms are SO nice and fresh and SO clean! The smart TVs are huge and you can log into your streaming services from them (just remember to log out before you leave). The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We almost didn't stay here because of the few reviews that said the staff would lie to keep your deposit. I can't afford that, so I called them to discuss my concerns beforehand. They said they've had people smoke in the rooms which isn't allowed so as long as no one smokes in the rooms, or on the property, its not a problem. I am a smoker, and so the person at the front desk mentioned that I could smoke along the fence, but I wasn't sure exactly where she meant by that, so just to be extra cautious I chose to step outside the parking lot. I would walk to the entrance of the parking lot & stand on the sidewalk there to smoke. It would only take me maybe 3 mins to walk there. We've now stayed 4 separate times & have never had an issue getting our deposit back. Also the breakfast is one of the best I've had at a motel.
