Best place to stay in Troy rooms are beautiful

i just slept there but the noise from the traffic is horrible

And they had EV charging! Slow, but enough for an overnight fill up!

Sorry we didn’t have breakfast there and we kept waking up because of the elevator it was right next to our room and you can hear the brakes stop when the elevator stopped if we do stay there again we would have to get a room far away from the elevator.

My room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows nice and fluffy. The location was quiet and the parking lot was well lit and safe. The only downside was the banging noise that happened every day and night

For the most part, everyone on the staff was very helpful and welcoming. But I will say there was one gentleman that was working the front desk- one of the managers I presume. And while I was having breakfast and talking to the waitress about how I was from California, and she was telling me how beautiful La Jolla is and she loved visiting San Diego , this Hilton worker had the nerve to come walking out from behind the front desk, intrude on our conversation and ask about gas prices in California. And when I agreed, they were a little bit higher here than New york for sure, he told me that’s what I deserved for living in Los Angeles. I was shocked. “deserved?” I deserve some kind of punishment for living in California? Such a strange and rude projection. He was not part of the initial conversation. Injected himself in it just so that he could come over and spew whatever political upset he was having with our state. Have no idea what his deal was. But his hostility dampened my breakfast. The waitress on staff actually pulled him aside. Had some choice words with him and he went away. It happens. I get it. The staff for the most part at this hotel was great. But this little man definitely wanted to have some kind of fight. Unfortunately, for him I was not willing to participant.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff, from the manager checking us in to the friendly staff at breakfast, were all so great. The room was clean, large, and so comfortable. We appreciated the on site restaurant and the GF options at breakfast.

Beautiful view. One of the best birthdays because of my relaxed stay here at Hilton. All of the staff was wonderful and courteous. Hotel management was great as well. Pool and gym available. Food and drinks pretty good too.

Staff was very helpful. While the room was acceptable in terms of cleanliness there were a few surfaces that had dust on them. Breakfast buffet was a good bargain with plenty of options if you like a large breakfast. Water pressure for the shower was adequate, but would have liked a little bit more. It can be a little tricky getting into the parking lot if traveling east on Hoosick St, traffic is very heavy at times.

Buffet breakfast was also less than average. Location is great, and the bar restaurant was very good.

Later, when I went back for my truck, and the lot was clear enough, so I just grabbed my keys from the valet and found it in the lot, where I discovered they had left my lights on. Thankfully, it didn't drain my batteries (yes, plural as I have two), but I'm sure it shortened their lifespan. With that out of the way, I thought things would go smoother, but come morning there wasn't enough hot water for one shower, let alone two. I've always preferred Hilton properties in my travels, but I when I come back to Troy I think I will be avoiding this property.

This has always been a solid hotel when I come to Troy. I was pleased to see the updated equipment in the fitness center and my family enjoyed the pool. Sadly, the room is starting to look dated with the wall paper literally coming off the walls. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom appeared to be in good condition. The front desk staff can be hit or miss. For the most part they are friendly, except for this heavy-set guy, who every time I stay there, looks at me like I am dirt. It is very off-putting. The breakfast buffet was very good although it you come near the end of serving time, some of the food is limited. Overall, I would recommend as long as you are able to get a good room rate

The hotel is well equipped and well positioned, close to downtown and RPI. Check in/out was easy. Room was clean.

We needed a place to stay in short notice when we couldn't drive as far as we planned. Online booking was easy amd the evening hotel clerk was nice about putting us in a room that was conveniently located for the fact that we were traveling with 2 dogs.

Terrible experience. We arrived at 1 a.m. to find a transient outside the entrance, and there were no clear signs showing the lobby is on another floor. Staff made me feel like I was bothering them by checking in late. The room was the worst part—smelled like sweat and dampness, like a dirty locker room. It felt unclean, and I couldn’t even sleep worrying about bed bugs. I left the next morning and booked another hotel, even though this stay was prepaid. Not worth the money or the stress.

The front desk was so friendly and accommodating! Loved that there was frozen dinners and a microwave available. Best hotel I've been to in over 15 years, so clean and inviting...pool and gym was awesome. Loved the reading lamps in the room and convenient charging ! Room so large! Stayed here overnight for a wedding we attended at Franklin Plaza. Great place to stay….very clean and comfortable! Check in staff were courteous and friendly. And, the wedding venue was 1.5 miles away. Don’t hesitate, stay here!

I had a great trip and stay. The room was clean and comfortable , and had everything and the staff provided excellent service. Every single staff menber from the front desk , to dining room and house keeping was pleasant amd accommodating!

Also no continental breakfast. A buffet breakfast for $12.50 for cold eggs and bacon!! We were not impressed. I will have to think long and hard before staying at a Hilton again.

I love staying here! We stayed here 8 years ago when my son was a prospect RPI student. Now, many years later and a PHD on his shelf, he has made Troy his home and when I visit, I always stay here as it is walking distance to his house. The staff is wonderful and accommodating and the breakfast is great!

I should have taken a picture of my mattress and pillows. I could hardly sleep as the mattress was so bad that I was rolling to the floor. The pillows on both beds should have been thrown out. We all woke up early with back aches and neck aches. I told the mgr and instead of offering a discount he said he’d have maintenance look into it. I don’t think he believed me. I don’t usually complain but I’ve been loyal to Hilton and deserve better. I usually prefer booking directly with the hotel but tried your service. I’m not sure if you advocate on my behalf.

I appreciated the quiet, the cleanliness, the bathtub (rather than a walk-in shower), the sweet workout room (especially the elliptical), nice pool, comfy sheets and towels. Had a great margarita in the sports bar. But the very best thing was staff. SO efficient, polite, helpful, and the eagerly went the extra mile when I needed something!

Ice machine didnt work, coffee was horrible and the coffee machine had qater left in the tank, no conditioner in the shower. Room was cleaner when I left than when I checked in.

The one reason we needed the room was to get sleep before the next leg of your trip and that was interrupted With the ac off, we could hear every voice and sound coming from the corridors and the street outside, so it was a no win situation. Since we didn't physically report it to front desk and move rooms WHILE it was happening (at our most exhausted in the wee hrs of the morning), I don't understand why nothing could be done compensation wise post-event due to this third-party excuse.

We have stayed here several times because our son is a student at RPI. The one thing that we did not enjoy this visit was being on the Hoosick street side rather than the parking lot side. Every vehicle driving down Hoosick hit the potholes loudly which was quite disruptive. This is not something the hotel can control, although maybe making the City of Troy aware of the condition of Hoosick Street would be a good idea.

Check in was great. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Headed to the sports bar next. The location was fun. Great wine pour by the way! Enjoying my short stay so far!

Definitely stay here again.

This is the second weekend in a row that I stayed here. The stay last weekend was great. This weekend, my room was located to the right of the elevators. It sounded like people were bowling/moving furniture the entire night. I would have asked to change rooms, but I came back around 10:30 and went to bed. When I told the front desk about this problem as I was checking out, all I was told was “I’m sorry”. That was unfortunate since I am a Hilton member. I thought that I would be valued more.

The hotel was very nice inside. The restaurant was a very good restaurant. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately our room was not The best room due to the noise. All night throughout the night we heard banging and slamming. We thought it Was thunder or maintenance, It was because the elevators and the ice machine was on the backside of our bedroom. No one told us. And throughout the night. We tossed and turn hearing banging. Closing and opening up the doors. When they use the ice machine, which was also behind our bedroom wall made a lot of noise. So the night was a terrible sleepless night for the most part. The staff was wonderful though. The restaurant was nice. And the facilities looked very clean and nice as well.

Sound of Hoosick Street was a bit annoying and the view of the sign/field goal was different.

This is the worst stay that I have ever had at this hotel. The staff at check-in was rude and practically threw my room keys at me. There were kids running through the hallways screaming in the middle of the night. Every night there were dogs barking in the hotel waking me up. The only good aspects of my stay was the breakfast and the fact that I was able to get extra pillows for my room.

Fitness center was busy but still accessible and restaurant/bar seemed nice (didn’t dine there but grabbed take out- it was good)

Check in was good, but the elevator operation is not user friendly. I know guest safety is the reason, but instruction wasn’t clear and then my room key card had to be reprogrammed. All in all, a poor system.

Right in the middle of the town and close to the highway

I wanted to not really have to write this review because my overall stay went really well until I arrived home and realized that my leather jacket was not in my suitcase where I had packed it. I notified the hotel and ask them to review camera footage and they played games with me for almost 2 weeks for they told me that a key interrogation revealed that no one had entered my room however housekeeping was in my room both times in the hallway and I believe that somebody entered my room and took my jacket it was a brand new black leather jacket. Management gave me the runaround as far as I'm investigating it and then the final communication was very disrespectful and passive aggressively rude and nasty I do not suggest you stay at this hotel unless absolutely necessary I'm sure there are other ones but my jacket was stolen and it took them a week and a half to tell me that they don't have cameras in the hallways when that's what they should have said initially they will protect their staff and protect their brand and if your things get stolen you will be at a loss so I did not appreciate the whole overall after experience with regards to my stay there they have thieves on staff
