We stay here every time we're in Roanoke. Love it here.

Property is aging, however, everything is neat and clean.

Couldn’t get on the internet and front desk couldn’t help me. Breakfast was not great. First staff was great.

The room was great and I liked the light breakfast. I ride my motorcycle and do not really like to eat heavy before I get on the bike. The front office staff was great up checking....I think her name was Nayman (maybe wrong spelling) but she was friendly and helpful.

It was a good stay. I am pleased with the whole experience.

Front desk clerk at check-in was great. Clerk in the morning only acknowledged me on my third trip by the desk, as I was exiting to go to my car.

Cleaning staff should pay attention to detail!

Clean Room, comfortable beds. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Troutville location going to and from Gatlinburg TN. After our 1st night we asked for a ground room floor for when we came back a few days later. They made it happen and were very helpful. Good location. Recommend Angells Diner down the road about .5 mi. if you dont want to do Cracker Barrel which is walking distance.

The property is old and could use updating. It smelled like smoke on the floor we were staying on even though it was nonsmoking.

Stay was mostly good. Comfortable bed, and breakfast was simple but good for a quick bite. Friendly front desk. Only issue was our room door didn't close tightly so it let in a draft and lots of traffic noise. Management thanked us for reporting it but no apology or room discount. Would stay again but not that room.

I liked how polite the person was and went above and beyond to help me get the reservation canceled. They no longer offer the spa tubs.

Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. Ac worked well. We really only slept here so it worked for what we needed. We had a few things broken or in general disrepair in our room. Lights were pretty dim, lamp was cracked, ceiling had open holes around the sprinkler head, shower squealed upon use.

CON: Room not clean, Lack of Privacy, Housing far away from hotel. × Upon checking in, the information from the front clerk staff had said that my room was in a seperate building. It was not far away but it just was an annoying additional information. × Get to the buidling, get to our room.. it's dingy. Whatever its Quality Inn, I'm not expecting anything fancy HOWEVER, in my room, the thick curtains that BLOCK THE LIGHT and BLOCK PEOPLES VIEW FROM SEEING INTO MY ROOM, were not designed to close all the way. Which was wild. × Checked in on a Wednesday BTW. The room was hastily cleaned it appeared. Check in was at 3pm and when I got there, I think one other person was in the seperate building with me. ×There were fake rose petals beside the nightstand, and some weird dried fluid/substance on the bed skirt. Moving the mattress back, there were additional fake rose petals behind the head of the mattress, along with human hair and dirt. The sheet looked clean and so did the blanket, I was exhausted and just wanted to lay down at that point. ×Breakfast was also offered re but its different when you have to leave the entire buildung to walk to the main hotel. Its not a huge spread but on day of check out it looked slightly busy, smelt great, but I just didn't want to have to leave the hotel building to get breakfast in the hotel buildin.

It was close to my work location! The room was dirty, the bed sheets/pillow cases were dirty! There was dust and hair all over the place, the room smelt musty! The shower head was broken, there were cobwebs in a few places throughout the room! The room service “cleaned” my room, left the old used sheets on the bed, made the bed to make it look like it was changed! The beds were hard as a rock! Long story short, I wasn’t impressed or satisfied with the room/stay!

The room was clean & tidy. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning. All staff were friendly & nice. We were just doing a one night stay while traveling, but very helpful with all my questions with our dog. The best part was the only $15 added price for our dog!! Thank you!!!

First off Morris at the front desk answered the phone with a smile I could hear it. He answered my questions, offered a solution for my ice pack and warned me of the stairs in advance. Bravo! Some days stairs would be a big no, but my health was decent and we were tired. Check in a breeze and Morris and I even had a friendly chat. Room was good, clean and shower fantastic. Only downside is the side by the freeway, you can hear the traffic inside the room. The breakfast was more than I thought it would be. Love a hotel waffle! Appreciated bananas that were not bruised up.

The staff were friendly The room was filthy, wallpaper peeling off the walls, something splattered on the bathroom door, the refrigerator and microwave were dirty, there was what looked like a blood stain on the mattress, the door to the room had an opening at the bottom and the room smelled terrible.

Absolutely disgusting here. I wish I could get my money back. It smelt like mold and the carpets were filthy they made my toddlers feet black. Just nasty over all.

The location is convenient to Roanoke and Salem.The breakfast was ok. The beds were comfortable with clean linens. The rooms are a dated and the bathrooms have old fixtures, carpet is old, and room needed painting.

I love this place I stay here once a year going to my mother's and then once again coming back from my mother's and they are always so friendly and so helpful. I travel with my cat so that's not always such an easy thing. But they make everything so nice and so easy. I wish I could give them more stars than five.

HOTEL was very good, especially clean BUT the sink was clogged, the outside was not anything special to look at and the MAIN ENTRANCE had no signs, hard to know if you were at the right entrance

Renovated, clean, spacious rooms. Very nice outdoor pool. Renovated lobby and breakfast area...tasty breakfast buffet in the morning. Workout room with several machines and free weights.

There was nothing unique about the place. The bathroom was dirty. The room had either food, blood or mud on one of the walls. We got up to go to breakfast and there was nothing to eat. Repeated request to replace the food went ignored. They were totally sold out for the night so they should have planned to have adequate food as advertised. Had to go over to the Cracker Barrel to get breakfast and spend $100 I had not planned on spending. Would not stay there again!

The rooms were very outdated and not in good shape. The fake leather furniture was so old it was pealing off. The rooms need to be gutted and updated carpet, paint, window treatments, furniture. I will not stay here again I had to lay something on the bottom of the curtains to hold them shut as they gapped open (poor design or wrong curtains) and anyone could see in as they are level with the walkways. My restroom had not been clean but the staff was very gracious about getting me another room. Unfortunately the 2nd room was clean but in just as bad shape. This is not a staffing problem the owners need to spend some money on this hotel and bring it up to standards as they obvously did the lobby area or keep losing customers. There is also room for improvement on the selection offered for breakfast it wasn't horrible but could use some improving the other hotels inthe area have better breakfast set ups. This is all meant to be constructive information.

Morris - front desk agent - was so nice and helpful. When I told him our room smelled like cigs he moved us to an upgrade. Very helpful! I also loved the pillows and bed. I didn’t like cleaning fluid smell and dispite loving service will pay a little more next time for better place.

No shower curtain, lack of toilet paper - fixed by the staff when i let them know.

The check-in host was wonderful. The room, however, was not wonderful. I know we took a chance staying in a pet-friendly room, but this one smelled awful. The smell hit as we entered the room, but it was late and we were so tired that we talked ourselves into thinking it wasn't that bad. It was bad enough to prevent a decent night's sleep. The carpet, drapes, and bedding all need a thorough cleaning or, in my opinion, replacing!

Front desk people were very helpful. Morning breakfast very diabetic-friendly. Location is very accessible off the main highway.

Everything about this place was terrible how it got high ratings i don't know. I only gave it one star because it had what appeared to be clean sheets on the bed. Toilet and bath were filthy. The water trickled out of the faucet...no pressure. Do not stay at this place.

Room was suppose to be the best room they had. Then I am wondering what the other rooms look like. Paint coming off the front door and the wall was all cracked around the door. Long black hairs in the shower and walls. Food in the refrigerator and then to top it off we had no hot water when we arrived as we wanted to shower. Ran water for 10 minutes and no hot water. We gave up and just went to bed. Next morning had to run water for 5 minutes to finally get hot water. When booking the room asked for a bottom floor room as there are no elevators. Cant carry suitcases due to a herniated disc in back so I explained that to the girl and she was very helpful and got us a room on botton floor. Breakfast area was not very appetizing. Waffle maker was nasty looking and juice was watered down. Dont understand that. Just skipped breakfast. Could have eaten at cracker barrel which is in front of the hotel. Not sure what happened to the hotel we always stay at. Have been going there for years. I think I need to find a new hotel.

Traveling with our dog, our room was very clean, totally comfortable and spacious. We were checked in by a very friendly and professional front desk person who accommodated our request for a specific type room. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend this location.

Hotel was convenient off Rt 81 and it was clean, but it is a tired older hotel that shows some wear and tear in the rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend or stay at this hotel again. It was very minimally clean. The sheets and the bathroom looked clean but nothing else did. They are neglecting a lot of other areas in these rooms. It smelled like a big stinky dog had been living there for a week before we arrived. Yuck! The breakfast area was dirty too. Couldn't eat anything there because I was so turned off.

The TV was not working properly. Otherwise the room was in good condition not great

I was very pleased with my stay here, we had been staying in Holiday Inns up to this and this turned out to be my best nights rest. The staff were very friendly.

We had an issue with the room next door having very loud conversations extremely late. When we went to the front desk and notified them they quickly fixed the situation and the noise stopped. When I stopped at the desk for my receipt the next morning they applied a credit without me asking and was very apologetic.

And the breakfast--while free-- was terrible.

I didn’t like having to request for bed to be made. It should be done. I am paying to stay there.

Greeted very well and friendly. Next morning the plumbing backed up. Was offered a plunger and long excuse about the city working on the water for 2 months. Had to request another room which was granted only for use of the bathroom after a bit of discussion.

The whole place had an air of professionalism to it. I had no major complaints at all.

It is a "motel" style building. The doors are on the outside of building. The rooms need a " refresh". dressers are old. tub is old. But bed was very comfortable.

The room was pretty clean, but stunk terrible of cigarette smoke. I don't know if I'll stay at a Quality Inn again. Every time I do, I'm disappointed. Staff was nice. Property looked good on the outside, but a bit dog-eared on the inside.
