The staff was very helpful and courteous. But the room smelled, there were flying bugs in the room. The cover on top of the beds were stained and were very dingy, as if not cleaned. The bathtub looked very unclean and the shower curtains were dirty. With all that said, thank God we were only staying one night, I already had cleaning sprays and lysol. We were definitely not taking a shower and we slept on top of the bed with our blankets spread so we did not touch the covers. WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED AT !!!!!

Double charged me and expedia refuses to refund me. Hotel is scheisty and tried to make me pay cash although i already paid through expedia. They said i would have to cancel through expedia because they couldnt process their payments at the time. Now the hotel wont respond to expedia to tell them that i paid again. Over $86

They left the light on for us... One of the few location near Roanoke that did not jack up their prices for VA Tech graduation weekend... Clean except for a significant stain on one of the pillow cases... Towels were like Brillo pads, but good for exfoliating dead skin cells... Heat and AC worked well...Bed was comfy. Decent kitchenette in room... Some noise from the adjacent interstate.

It was easy to check in and out. There was a cockroach in the room, dog hair on the sheets, and the bathroom door didn’t shut.

Receptionist was welcoming and the motel is definitely much better than one would expected.

Every room has entrance adjacent to car. It's like the car was an extension of the room.

We drove all night and arrived several hours before check out. We wanted to sleep for an hour and take a shower before continuing on our trip. We were denied our room and forced to just continue driving, resulting in being up for 30 hours. Booking.com could care less that we were not provided the rooms we paid for, and I will never use Booking.com again.

The gentleman that rented the room to me was really nice and knows the area very well. I highly recommend that motel if you’re staying in the area . You don’t have to worry about being on a second floor, cause they don’t have second floors. They do have a dog park on the property. Well maintained Highly recommended this place 😁

Location right off the hwy Creepy guy kept standing near my room, yelling at someone on his phone and trying to bum cigarettes, kept it up until quite late at night. Floor of room very crooked and sloped. Door would not auto lock behind me on morning of departure.

Room, while had some updates in the bathroom, had black mold around the shower base, lacked any shelves in the shower to hold soap (supplied) or shampoo (not supplied), and the shower curtain was designed for a tub, not a shower stall and therefore could not stop water from escaping the stall. Bed was comfortable and only used the fan (not the air conditioning or heating), but it worked fine. Parking was right outside you door - that was very convenient.

OK in a pinch. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and bed was ok. Towels were terrible, as was lighting at the sink.

Sheets and comforter had burn holes. Light in the ceiling hanging up with duck tape. Floor was awful, got up twice to go to the restroom and socks turned black. Black sticky gooey something on the bathroom counter, like ut was never wiped/cleaned,. But then you get what you pay for. At least no bed bugs or roaches.

The doors do not latch with out slide chain lock, only have one channel. The bathroom always has water in the floor from shower drainage and the room has a nasty odor. The front desk lady when checking in, she charges 25 dollars to check in before 3:00PM. I don’t shower there or take my shoes off.

Did not stay for breakfast. The snow and ice where cars were park8ng was not cleaned off at all. If you go face the shower and look up to your left at top. There is a bar of soap from someone before.

The blankets had burn holes in them 3 different blankets all had burn holes in them. Big ones. House keeping opened my door on me while I was al trying to sleep in the bed after I loudly shouted no thankyou to room service. What if I was naked??

the is staff very rude, specially the lady who were on reception, first i walked in and try to book a room, she quote over priced than booking.com and she said 35$ early check in fee, when i book through booking.com she increase early check in fee to 45$, i told her that you said 35$ and suddenly you increase the early check in fee. she said cancel the booking and find some other property. i was just shocked and pay 45$ early check in fee. the room is very smelly and dirty. smelly blankets........

The front staff was very friendly. Our room was disgusting. It looked like it wasn’t clean at all. There were burn holes in the blankets. If we weren’t so exhausted from traveling I would have left. There was also people who live at the hotel asking for money, we did not feel safe.

The staff, mainly the owner was VERY rude! I paid about 600$ for a week and was still treated poorly even though I was a paying customer.

Just a basic budget friendly choice for a place to stay on business. The rooms were very large, which was a plus, and I have no complaints about cleanliness.

Room smelled like sweaty feet. Small cockroaches mostly in the bathroom and sink area. But found them in the room as well. Toilet base dusty. Heat/ air unit worked but was extremely dusty with a dirty filter. I wish I traveled with a can of bug killer and room deodorizer. If you book here ask for room 343. I’m sure it will be immaculate after my reported concerns at check out

We pulled in to the motel late and were promptly given a room. We had reserved earlier in the day. The room was clean and looked as though it had recently been renovated. Nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable and everything was great.

Then giving us about 5 minutes to wake up and get our things together before coming back and continuing to yell at us to check out. What a great way to start our morning!

Good place to stay if you’re on the road and need a bed. Nothing fancy. Clean,close to the highway, reasonably priced.

The road leading to the property has car size manholes but we got there by dodging them. Staff was great - quick in and quick out. The only thing questionable was that our room smelled a bit when we first got in. Like someone was smoking in it in the past or something like that. I did not notice it in the morning, but I did when we first got in. We were just there late for the sleep and then we got up early, showered, and left. Nice that it had a mini fridge in the room also.

Tub was a little small for a soak, but still good. Lots of quick food options within 5min walk/drive and a few shops nearby for last minute needs. Easy on/off interstate as well

The lady at check-in was friendly. The room was clean, bedding was clean and bug-free. The bed wasn't super comfortable, and the a/c didn't fully cool the room (my wife was happy, I was sweating). For the price though, you can't beat it.

Everything was great as always except the room we got the internet kept on cutting off and on. I went up to front and asked if there was anything they could do because i do work from my laptop and i couldnt get any work done because of this. I was a bit mad but i didnt keep bothering them in office about it.

HORRIBLE! It was not safe. Disgusting condition. You could hear the highway all day every day. We asked for room cleaning and NEVER got it in 4 nights stay. They gave us 2 towels, 1 handtowel, and 1 washcloth for 3 people. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was clean and amenities were as expected for a cheap motel but the odor of stale cigarette smoke permeated everything in my non-smoking room.

I work in sales and I'm in this area every other week. It just so happened that Metallica was playing a concert the evening that I usually would have stayed. Every hotel that I usually stay in was booked, and this was the last available room in this motel 6. I placed the order was billed, and received my confirmation number and itinerary. So naturally I assumed that was that, I was good. When I finally got to the hotel, it was around 12:30 in the morning and I was told that my booking was canceled. It was like pulling teeth trying to get a hold of somebody who could help me through Expedia. Ultimately none of them were able to help me since it was past midnight they couldn't book a room for the previous day, so I was on my own. They offered to refund me the cost of the room, or if I was able to find another room, they would reimburse me. Once again, that took a lot of effort and speaking to four different Representatives until something happened. I stayed in a really run down hotel for double the money that I paid for this room and only ended up having the room for about 5 hours. They told me that my order should have never processed and that the room had already been booked, even though it was available on their site and on Expedia site

The staff were pleasant. Room was pretty clean. The shower and tub could use some updating, very very slow drain took 30 minutes for water to drain out of tub after shower.

Very nice folks working at the place. If you reserve a room get it away from the construction workers living there. They were no loud every morning around 5:00 it will wake you up. It’s very convenient to the interstate and if you need to lay your head down for the night it may be ok but bring your own pillow and bed sheets and keep socks on at all times to be safe. Also a dirty wash rag was left behind on the shower rob and cigarette burns were on the covers. I’m not trying to be mean or anything but I feel I need to be truthful on this for everyone wanting to stay here. I never leave a review less than 5 stars but I just can’t for this place. Hope I don’t sound mean or anything I just need to tell the truth.

Expedia shouldn’t even carry this listing. Reminds me of a place you rent by the hour for a hot date and a quickie . No breakfast, floor feels like your going to fall through. Towels are like shop rags. Tub looks like it has a bullet hole in it. Parking lot entrance has craters like the moon. Can’t adjust hot & cold in the shower. Two little slivers of soap no extra amenities. Restaurant choices suck. Place next door so small had no seating. Had to drive 20 to find some place decent. Not what I was looking at in the listing. I slept with one eye open waiting for Tom Homan to bust the door down with ICE.

We requested a non smoking room. Our room has ash trays and a deep smell of cigarettes smoke. The barg had wholes in the walls, shower curtain was dirty. All floors were not swept. A very poor visit.

The truck parking area has be closed off. Apparently it didn't belong to Motel 6. to them

Overall its a nice place for a cheap rate. The shower curtain was stained up and the rod was loose, there were minor stains on the sheet and pillows, you could here noise from outside. I'd advise to bring your own comforter, pillows, and sheet. But the good is, its very affordable, looked to be pretty clean (other then stains), everything worked, and staff was very nice. Its the perfect place to lay your head at night if your traveling and on a budget.

It's a motel 6, not a 5* resort. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower had hot water, and it was quiet on the Friday night we stayed. For less than $100 I'd stay there again for sure.

Very easy check in, very clean room. The motel had room accomodations that I appreciate-microwave and refrigerator. My only disappointment was that the trissue container was empty....I had to use toilet paper in place of kleenex.

The property is okay for an overnight stay, which is just what I needed! Convenient to gas station, places to eat and right off the interstate. The area around the hotel isn’t the best, but it is convenient and the price is reasonable.

Felt little out dated. Had retro 50/60's table and chair/cushion seat. Had 70's shower fixtures and end night stand. And exposed plumbing under sink should have had it blocked off out of site. And floor where bed was, had 1/4" gap on both ends of every board joint. King bed had 3 pillows. Went and got a 5th pillow. When turning keys in, i gave extra pillow back and just simply put back on shelf for next person to use. No changing pillow case or anything.

I would stay at this property again should the need arise.

Arrived at 11pm to break up a travel trip. Our room wreaked of what smelled like bad Chinese food. The bathroom was not clean. When pulled back sheets it was obvious it had been slept in - there was hair on the pillow and a black bug went scurrying . The attendant gave me attitude about changing the room. I had to return to the office twice to get the room key activated. There was a gathering of people partying outside our room until 3am. A lot of highway noise. Will not stay here again.

The room was very sparse and I began by not findibg the TV remotem. I finally found it by the mirror. I called the front desk but I got no answer.

Old-school motel with 70s decor and parking spot in front of room (which is convenient). Hard to find entrance, but you can aim for the sign. Refrigerator but no coffee maker. Diner and McD easy walking distance.

This was literally the most dirty and disgusting hotel room I’ve ever had in my whole life. Next time I’d rather just sleep in my car.

The road going in is awful there was guys sitting outside at almost 1 a.m. drinking. Found a bag of empty beer cans and liquor bottles outside my room. Cockroaches were running around the bathroom there was stuff all over the walls and floors. One bed was clean other than cigarette burns all over the bedspread the other bed had hair all over it along with burn holes. It definitely felt like a pay by the hour hotel. I took several photos and have posted my review on other sites in hopes to save someone else money.

While the sheets on the beds were clean and the mattresses were comfortable, this room (241) hadn’t had a good cleaning in a long time. It was so bad that we skipped showering and just got out of there after getting some sleep.
