We had a great time...

The only complaint I have is the pool had huge chunks of hair in it!

Staff knew little about local area. Gym was horrible and breakfast was not worth mentioning but it was appropriate for the location I suppose. The fact that they locked the doors at night says something

This location was what I’ve come to expect from Holiday Express locations. Decent beds, clean rooms and common areas, but breakfast is lacking. The pancake maker made a very sad excuse of a pancake (it was supposed to be two that came out). The staff were very friendly and helpful as they could be though.

Close proximity to outlet mall, the Columbia Gorge Not that easy to find! Lack of signage, could not see where to turn initially. The sign for turning into the drive was partially blocked

Fully updated room, comfortable bed, clean, nice ambience. Plenty of parking. Decent pool not heated though. Hot tub was not working and needs update. Shower was a bit leaky. Breakfast was good, they were missing potatoes and waffles though.

Wonderful breakfast, staff and hot tub/pool which was very cold after hot tub use.

The room was clean and the amenities were great, they included toothbrushes and combs if you needed any aswell as having a hot breakfast with plenty of options. The staff was very kind but my only complaint was that there was the smell of weed throughout the hallways but it was okay since the rooms didn’t smell of it.

Beautiful room design. I felt safe and happy during my stay. Enjoyed the pankakes and eggs etc. At breakfast. Enjoyed the herbal tea and hot chocolate. The pool and hot tub were fun.

Parking was easy, room was very clean, staff was nice when interacted with, pool & hot tub were clean as well.

We did not have a car this trip, but the lot looked like it had plenty of space. Elevator under repair.awaiting inspection, but we were on first floor, so it was no problem. Only negative: hotel surrounded by 2 big rig truck stops. Not noisy not smelly, but it made it really challenging for our family to pull out onto the street.

Clean stay. Close to restaurants. Was really hard to find at night, even with GPS. You have to drive throgh truck stop parking lots to find it.

AC in room didn't work. Weekday morning breakfast was horrible. Pancake machine was shooting out dime size pancakes. The morning person wasn't checking things. We found her and she just turned the machune off instead of fixing the problem. Most of the food was cold. We went up to our room and the elevator stopped on the second floor to let housekeeping off. There was a beer can laying on the floor as she got off the elevator. She looked at it and kept on walking. Very disappointed.

As always, you het the holiday Inn quality, good staff, very clean and white linens and towel. No air freshener which is a plus for thise with allergies like me. Yhw room smells clean. What more can I ask for.

The room was clean. The guy that checked us in was excellent! Went to breakfast and the breakfast was terrible. They had scrambled eggs with no flavor. No, omelet like on the website shows.The sausage was disgusting and the woman at the front desk appeared to be sleeping.

The desk staff at this hotel were great, but it's in a not-so-nice location near the truck stops and highway. The room was okay but we did have someone who we assume was a staff member enter our room without knocking or anything on the first evening and left quickly when she saw us.

Easy access Countertop in between king bed and sofa. The mattress on sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Would recommend a double bed. The Shari’s restaurant needs to be renovated

We attended an event at Edgefield and we were so thankful we stayed at the Holiday Inn. Super close to the venue with your own bathroom, super comfortable bed and A/C.

The guy at the front desk was awsome. His name is Carlos and he is very helpful and very friendly. The hotel was really nice. Only thing is that if you leave to go anywhere it's a very out of the way route to get back to the hotel, due to it being on a one way street. But other than that it was really nice.

Very nice hotel. Carlos checked us in - what an awesome man! He was very kind and personable. He gave us information on restaurants nearby and things to do in the area, he even walked us to the elevator! Would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t like the fact that they doubled book our room and other party was allowed to open our room which all of our personal item were available and staff made us feel like it was our problem and not the staff’s problem for doubling up on room numbers.

The hotel is located in the middle of two truck stops right next to the highway. It is very old and has a lot of rot and signs of wear. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean. Just wasn’t in the condition I am used to for holiday inn express hotels.

Updated super clean room with all of the amenities. Hotel staff was great. Free breakfast buffet, pool and an additional laundry area.

Amazing the front desk helped me since i had set it up for a king but on their end it showed non specific for bed size and some how went through hotels.com he was able to add my points to my membership

We were on the second floor, the room above us on the third floor had someone in it that must have been trying to make up steps. They stomped back a fourth for hours both nights we were there. It was 1:30am before it stopped. Drove me crazy. I wanted to call the desk but kept thinking it would stop. Needless to say, sleep was not happening until the stomping stopped. It was no fault of the hotel and we would stay again but I would call the desk about the stomping next time….lol I’m pretty sure I was to patient.

This is a great place to stay if you are in the Colombia river gorge area. We loved our room, the staffs, amenities, breakfasts - everything about this place! 100% recommend this to others!

It is right next to the freeway. Convenient location for food, gas and entertainment. I would definitely recommend thia place. Clean and up-to-date room, nice staff and free breakfast.

We had no idea when we booked this hotel that it had a truck stop on both sides and a train that ran behind. We thought it might not work for us. But it was quiet enough at night not to disturb us at all. The indoor pool was a bit cooler than I expected but was immaculately clean. The hot tub was wonderful.

First time staying with this brand. The hotel was clean and updated and staff wonderful. I felt very welcomed and they will accommodate pets for a reasonable fee if needed which is amazing! My only concern was location. It was next to the freeway and a truck stop which I didn’t realize or check closely, I thought it was closer in town. This only made me nervous only because of traffickers using trucks to transport people. Most truck drivers have nothing to do with that, but it does make me a lot more watchful with myself and family. There is also a boarded up and vandalized Sheri’s restaurant near the entrance that had some people hanging around that made me more nervous. Staff was really great though, some of the friendliest I’ve encountered in my travels across the country. They offered games and suggested eateries nearby, and when we ended up not having pets in one of the rooms they made it very easy to adjust the charges. I would try this brand again but probably not at this location.

Since interior remodel the facility and the staff are fantastic. But the lot as you come in needs some serious attention. I'm aware it's another businesses, but it's first thing you see in the way in.

Nice hotel with one “minor “ problem - plumbing . Toilet didn’t work . So if you are going to stay there ask front desk for a plunger at the time you check in . It was a problem for several guests , not just us.

The hotel itself was really nice— clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area directly around the hotel left something to be desired. While it’s within walking distance to a lot of things we wanted to visit (McMenamin’s Edgefield, the outlet mall, and the food cart pod), it didn’t feel entirely safe or pleasant to walk there. There are large, busy truck stops right next to the hotel on both sides, and a bramble-covered property next to a railroad right behind. Nevertheless, because of the convenient location and quality of the hotel itself, I would stay there again— as long as I wasn’t alone.

I was disappointed at breakfast. There were not any normal items like potatoes or scrambled eggs. At 7:30am the bacon was already gone. Only vegetarian choices remained.
