We love this place. Have stayed there many times before. The manager is awesome and helpful in every way. The fact that we could have our dog with us was tops. The owner Maria is a wonderful person and love her :)

The location is absolutely ideal for both relaxation and adventure. I loved waking up to the peaceful view of the canal and ending my days with a stroll along the beautiful beach. Maria was incredibly friendly and attentive. She went out of their way to make sure my husband and I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference. Overall, the Lorelei Resort is a great choice for anyone looking for a tranquil and convenient beach getaway with exceptional service. Highly recommended!

The host was so welcoming and accommodating. The walk to the beach was very easy and we loved fishing from the private dock in the evenings. Will be going back for sure!

The property has that "Old Florida" vibe. It's a budget motel and doesn't have a pool, but the rooms are very clean and the location is excellent. The rooms have all you need with an oven, coffee maker, microwave and full size fridge/freezer. Public beach access is right across the street. The dock is lit at night and the fishing is good due to it.

Granted this is an "Old Florida" property but the price was right for the area. Easy access to the beach is across the street. Also, a full size refrigerator, stove and microwave were in the room. I'd stay again.

Nice property right across the street from the beach. Only bad thing was a small bathroom and no hot water when taking a shower.

Definitely had and old Florida feel!! Walls were a bit too thin! Love that there was a full kitchenette and that we could literally walk across the street to the beach! Could definitely use a bit of TLC but was good for what we needed!

This place is a perfect small hotel right on the main road to everything.

This a dog-friendly property, with two friendly pups on site. It’s a great location, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Would stay here again! The manager was so friendly and accommodated our very late check-in. The building is from the 1940s and has character.

Great place to hang out and hit the beach 3 min walk or the bay. Our host Maria is awesome. Great if you have a dog to bring. The place is dated but very functional. For the price it is probably the best deal in the area. Nothing flashy but very comfortable.

Very small room, the shower was about 2X2. Air worked great and the bed was comfortable. As close to the beach as the people who had beach front hotels maybe 20 yards further. Great for dog owners.

The motel has a few years on it but the room was clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and accommodating.

I stayed for 5 nights at Lorelei and had the best time! The place is dog friendly and even has 2 very handsome pups who live there with their human, Maria. It's right across from beach access and there is a dock on the intercoastal. My boyfriend came down with me for a few days as well and we saw a manatee and several dolphins, along with several birds and fish. Maria runs the motel and is friendly and helpful, she's also knowledgable about the area. We had a great time and look forward to staying there again!!!

We really enjoyed this place and the atmosphere. It’s an hidden gem. We will be sure to stay again the next time we are any where near the area.

Quaint and cute motel. My hubby enjoyed fishing from the private dock.My highlight is I got to see three dolphins during our stay. Once early in the morning and later in the evening. It’s located on the bay side and the ocean side for the beach is literally across the street. Convenient to the grocery store and restaurants. Enjoyed the convenience of a full size fridge and microwave for quick snacks and drinks. The hotel manager, Maria was super sweet and made our stay enjoyable.

The place is very quaint, bathroom stall real small but usable, all the appliances were in good use The bed was soft but not comfortable. But each person is different when it comes to sleeping in beds. The place is very nice very friendly animals that owner has. I would come back again.

Maria was an EXCELLENT host! She was very accommodating and helpful. The area was perfect and so was our stay! I hope we get lucky enough to come back next year!

Great little place on the bay!

What a find! Such a cute little motel right on the Intercoastal across the street from the beach. My dog was allowed to freely roam the property and had such a great time as well. We saw dolphins right on the property sitting on the bay. The manager, Maria, made my dog and I feel right at home from start to finish. Walkable to many restaurants and shopping. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent dog friendly motel

Nice older motel, Great location, Bathroom is a little small.

We loved this unique small family owned 1940’s Inn. Definitely will return. Staff was amazing. Very clean. Just across the street from the beach.

A nice mom & pop motel, across the street from the beach. An older motel, but still comfortable with kitchen amenities (stove, fridge, microwave dishes, utensils). Housekeeping available upon request, but if you don't need full housekeeping, you can take care of things yourself. Need clean towels? Leave your used towels outside your door in the morning, and they will be replaced that evening. Maria is your host and will take care of whatever your needs are. I will definitely look into staying here next time I am in the Tampa/Treasure Island area.

We had a lovely stay. Conveniently located. Clean room. Cute doggies. And the host Maria was wonderfully attentive. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed on the water, dog friendly, everyone was very nice. My only complaint was the hot water was only luke warm for showering. Overall my stay was delightful. Will stay again

We had a great experience staying here. The host Maria contacted us in advance to facilitate our check-in. She was very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. There is a lot of open space for dogs to roam freely, which is rare even for dog-friendly properties. The room was clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall we are happy with our stay and for the price you can’t complain. Loved seeing everyone’s doggies everyday. If they updated their bedding I would definitely stay here again.

This resort is beautiful. A quiet oasis in the middle of paradise. Maria is lovely and so are the pets.

Excellent staff accomodating

Maria is the most friendly person. She made our stay outstanding. It was like you were at home. Perfect stay.

There dock on the intercoastal was great. Very quite and at night the green light in the water made watching the fish my favorite activity at night.

We booked this motel for our dog to join us & it was Great! A waterfront with dolphins was an added enjoyment. Close to John’s pas & entertainments! Maria was most helpful with information, checkin & feeling right at home atmosphere! I will stay again!

Maria was great, love the fact that our dogs could run around the entire place. Place is very reasonable priced and you can walk to the beach.

Quaint little place but very clean, quiet, laid back. Love that it’s pet friendly without all the crazy pet fees. Will definitely be staying here again when wanting to take a little staycation with my dog.

No hot water. No hooks/rods for towels in bathroom. Couch is old and uncomfortable. No shelf in shower for soap, etc. Sorry, but this place is a dump!

Very cute motel. Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, A/C worked great. Close proximity to all kinds of attractions and beach access was a short walk across the street. Back patio is comfortable with lots of seating and we were able to watch the dolphins while we relaxed. The hot setting in the shower only got lukewarm but the sink was able to get hot water fine.

Great friendly place near the beach

Delightful gem place was clean relaxing enjoyable. Cathy and jerdogs Blue and George were sweet hospital and attentive. Definitely will be back across the street from gulf beach and right on the intercoastal can fish right off the dock.

This was a great place! Dog friendly people with dogs on site to pet in case you can’t bring your own. Maria and Popi were super nice. I’ll be looking for this place again when I am in the area!

It had a home feeling as opposed to being in a hotel. The beach was super close. The area was safe and quiet. Management was available to meet any needs I had during my stay. Definitely would stay again.

Very easy walk to the beach as well and the beach is gorgeous. Many restaurants nearby too. Glad we gave this place a try and would love to come back. :)

This tiny, old Florida, laid-back property was exactly what I was looking for, plus it's pet friendly for no extra charge. It suited my purposes perfectly. While maybe not for everyone as it doesn't have all the amenities newer and fancier (and higher-priced) hotels have, it does have WiFi and a TV. The manager was terrific, the room was immaculate and had a little kitchenette, and it was maybe 2-3 blocks from a Publix grocery store - what else do you really need? Just around the corner from Publix was a large community park and a perfect place to walk my dog. The resident dogs are all quite friendly, so my pooch made some new friends as well. It was very close to two causeways going into St. Petersburg, and there was beach access across the road (the hotel is on the Intercoastal Waterway side). There are tons of restaurants for everyone's taste. The next time I'm in the area to visit friends, I most certainly plan on staying here again.

It was very nice

Although this hotel is 74 years old it is in good shape. The room is simple as you would expect from this time period. Full size fridge, microwave, sink, hot plate and an assortment of dishware make up the kitchenette. Bed was very comfy. The vibe is very chill. Tropical feel and outside areas you can really relax in. Location is excellent, with it being on the ICW and the Gulf aross the street. Publix is 500 ft down the street. The cost is reasonable for where you are. We will be back!

Took a weekend vacation to the beach with a friend and stayed at Lorelei. It was a truly wonderful experience. Maria was a wonderful host, the room was clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept in while we were there. Located right across the street from the beach and with several restaurants and a Publix within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.

Very dog 🐕 friendly Frankie loved it got to roam around without a leash & play with Blue, George the owners dogs and other dogs, beach is across the street, fish from the dock on the bay, rooms are small but clean & quiet cheapest hotel on Treasure island

We stayed5 nights and had suxh a great time. The motel was perfect and the views spectacular!i love that dogs are welcome and the ones that live there are so sweet. The owner was very sweet and friendly and works very hard at keeping the lorelei looking pretty. Thank you for your hospitality!

The owners were very thoughtful, nice and friendly. The room was comfortable but nothing is updated. The internet signal was very weak, recommended vending, ice machine and a TV guide. The water-views and beach is walkable. Dog friendly, if you use to animals, it may be challenging.

It has a great atmosphere for people and pets. So enjoyable. It met all of our needs. Maria is a wonderful hostess. A block from the public beach and Publix.

It was a really good stay room was clean and took my dog and they stayed for free and the people there that run the place couldn’t of been any nicer to me and my family and my dog so appreciate how we were treated only thing I miss was a pool I would stay there again

It's charming and quiet in the evenings. And Maria is amazing. Anything you need- extra towels, extra anything and she's on it. She was very nice and extremely accomodating. And the 2 dogs that live on the property are so sweet and nice. You're just a stone's throw from so many restraunts, Publix (ya!) and the beach. Will I be back? You betcha!

Lovely place that’s dog friendly. Staying for business but had little car trouble…was able to work remotely while watching dolphin swim by. Snuck out for a paddle on the SUP on site that afternoon. I definitely be back for a fun stay with the doggos as well as for business again. Thank you, Maria! See you again soon.

My stay at the Lorelei Resort was absolutely amazing. Maria Was the sweetest person ever, greeted us at the gate and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and very comfy. Definitely dog friendly!! I 10/10 recommend staying here if you are looking for a dog friendly hotel.

Great location and everything you need at a good price. Its not 5 star, but for a place on a budget it had everything you need. I liked being on the bay side watching pelicans and dolphins drinking my coffee and the beach was just across the street. Room was clean, management was friendly and saw to our stay being pleasant. I would stay again.

Truly amazing hidden gem. Maria and her sister are the kindest and most hospitable hosts around. She made us home-made empanadas our first night there. You won’t find that kind of warm friendly feeling at any of the bigger hotels.

The back patio had great views of the intercoastal. We fished off the back deck and saw dolphins and a beautiful heron visited daily. Great if you have a pet… very welcome. Great deal for the money.

This is a quaint, friendly, quiet, laid back & reasonably priced place in Treasure Island. Stayed in room 6 upstairs for 6 nights. Not the Ritz and didn't expect it to be, but room was clean and welcoming. Particularly liked that rooms are non-smoking. Had full-size refrigerator, microwave & electric stove. Necessary dishes & cookware are provided. Normal hotel shampoo, conditioner, lotion & soap were there. Also dish soap in kitchenette, hair dryer and ironboard. Shower is tiled stall; no tub. Had a closet for suitcases & hanging clothes. Dresser, nightstand, table & chair & livingroom chair. Queen bed was softer than our hard bed at home. Rooms have small plastic table & two chairs outside to enjoy a wonderful breeze off the water. Must pick up after yourself; no daily maid service or towel changes (just ask if you need clean towels). It's pet friendly & almost everyone but us had a dog. Absolutely no issues with barking & the dogs were friendly. Blue & George live there and patrol while their mom, Maria, manages everything. Late check-in wasn't a problem-notified Maria ahead of time & stayed in contact via text. Office usually isn't open, but Maria is almost always doing something around the place. No car w/us. Recommend FreeIslandHopper, trolley, taxi or Uber. Publix is short walk away. See dolphins & manatee & fishing from dock. Blue Heron waits on dock for spare fish. Easy access to beach across street. Loved our stay! Thanks Maria for wonderful time!

The Lorelei Resort is a hidden gem! I usually stay at the iResort down the road a bit, but this is now my favorite spot. I love the atmosphere and home like feeling. Every person from staff to the other people staying at the resort. The best part is that it is animal friendly!

Enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. Older place with old Florida charm. Everyone we met here was super friendly and Maria is a great host. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beach is very close and the back patio on the water is very relaxing. It was also fun meeting the various dogs that were there.

This little gem was perfect spot for us! Maria was welcoming and so friendly. We had our pups with us- which the property and other guests were great about. Everyone is super respectful of each other, which allows you to really enjoy yourself even while vacationing with the pooches. We had a wonderful time, we will definitely be back!

Maria was a wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and was comfortable. She and the longer term guests were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, from letting me borrow a beach chair to cutting aloe for my sunburn :-) As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable at the Lorelei and would highly recommend it for other solo travelers. I very much hope to return next year!

Beautiful Property with a great location

This is a small, older hotel. Our room was recently renovated and made great use of the somewhat small rooms. There was plenty of space for everything we had and included everything we needed. The full size refrigerator was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable, and everything was immaculate. This is a pet friendly hotel, and some of the dogs roam free on the property. All are friendly, but if you have a fear or dislike of dogs, this is probably not for you. The outside space is lovely. There are beautiful plants and flowers, a table, grill and plenty of seating. There is a lovely little dock for fishing. We would definitely come back!
