Staff was excellant. Property clean, inside check in very nice. Did not use pool but very clean and nice. Included breakfast was good. But $27 for parking you car, not nice. Was upgraded was surprise but had 2 double beds, one dunk down in middle, the other was ok but slanted to left side. Tv did not work for the 3 nights there. One night turned it on and it worked then didn't. Do turned it off and it kept coming back on. But they did try to fix.

Really wish there was a limit on how many waffles you’re able to make. Example one waffle per one waffle iron. We waited on a person she made 7 waffles. For her entire party. If they wanted waffles they could have made their own instead of having a line back up waiting on the waffle iron.

Great hotel! We had a small issue with the hot water knob. I called the front desk and within 5 minutes maintenance came and fixed it! Amenities and breakfast were wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for over a week and my experience was great. The room was clean and contained everything I needed to this lengthy stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful (special shout out to Asia at the front desk). The laundry/housekeeping staff start early in the morning, and I did wake up to laundry carts earlier than I would have preferred but I noticed they worked long days so I understand the early start. The breakfast buffet was consistent. Not a lot of variety but it was good. The location of the hotel was convenient to local eateries as well as the beach.

The only thing I didn't like wasn't about the hotel. Another guest brought a giant dog to breakfast that smelled really bad so it made eating in the dining room gross.

Breakfast was great and offered different options on different days which was nice. Staying in a higher costing state made the food budget more flexible with this amenity. The pool was nice and the rooms are more private and separated compared to your typical large multi-floor hotel.

The walls had cob webs, the room smelled and we were in a handicap room and that’s nit what we booked.

The hotel was slightly run down and the pull out sofa mattress felt like all springs. I wouldn't even consider it as a bed for a young child. The location of the hotel was very convenient with shopping and restaurants close by. It also felt pretty safe. We seemed to be there on an extremely busy weekend where a group completely took over the pool and bbq area, but overall our stay was good

Resort was nice but my room was a bit troublesome. The in freezer did not work and the knobs in the shower were mismatched so Cold was actually Hot and vice versa. Could have been a problem for kids. After maintenance tried twice to fix the ice maker they wanted to move my to a new room but honestly there was to much to pack only to unpack again. The air conditioner also did. It work. The staff was very nice so I decided to just deal with it.

This place we come to to just get away. Always wonderful staff and clean.

It's not the people though. They may have their own issues. It's in the building construction. Would it be better if I stayed at the second floor? No, it would just change my role from a distracted to a distractor. Next nights, less active people moved in above me, but I could still hear every their step. The breakfast: I don't know how to make scrambled eggs so tasteless and dry. Their chief must be very talented. Bacon and turkey sausages were burned to black. Out of 5 nights, only one morning I didn't put a note on the door that I don't need a room service. And guess what? They didn't even vacuum, nor they took out the trash. If you still want it, stay there at your own risk.

We come often to Torrance to visit family but we didn’t have a good experience this time we decided to stay at residence inn, first night didn’t sleep well. The upstairs tenants were walking around and it felt like the ceiling was going to crack, in the morning after going to the flea market came back our key cards didn’t work I went to replace them came back and still didn’t work turned out it was the battery so we had to wait for maintenance to fix that. Second night no sleep again!! Due to the upstairs noise so after breakfast we went and complained to the front desk… 3rd night was better because security had to tell upstairs tenants to keep the noise down.. I wouldn’t mind giving this place another chance because the buffet breakfast we did like but we won’t due to they charge $27.99 a night for parking which I am thankful they did waive due to the inconvenience of not getting good sleep.

The room was very nice but we had some loud neighbors and the one above us was pacing all night until 11:30. Rough night for sleeping. The buffet was a disappointment for a Residence Inn. Eggs were watery (like fake) the hash browns were frozen like from McDonalds at least the coffee was good.

Traveling through to pick up friends at LAX considering it was a Saturday afternoon got to airport in 25 minutes from the hotel. The property was clean and quiet environment to relax when we got back from the airport we enjoyed the pool great stay.

Curtain liner had several holes in them, when I told front desk about it they said they had no replacements! I was offer different room but declined.

Stayed two nights, nice enough facility, but starting to show signs of wear. I did not use the pool. My only criticism is that I think the breakfast could have been better. Perhaps a larger variety of fresh fruit- They had apples and bananas. A pastry or two would help the selection.

I did not know that they charge daily fee for parking and there was water bottle with $6 price tag on the table.

We were not able to stay, but also not able to cancel. The winter storm on the east coast changed our plans and corporate greed stole our money. We did not get a refund even though we canceled a day in advance. Marriott and Expedia pointed the finger at each other and both refused to issue a refund.

The location is not the problem, there was a change. The new manager is the problem from corporate. He is cold, not nice. It's all about profit.

Room was in good shape, kitchen was well supplied for a multi-day stay and allowed us to eat in a couple of times. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Front desk associates were always very pleasant and helpful. Overall, I'd easily stay here again.

There was a miscommunication with dates overlapping that created some anxiety but the operations manager, Zsatiera White was so courteous and professional and corrected the issue immediately. Ms. White represents Residence Inn very well and provides superior customer service and relations with the guests. The 27 dollar a night parking fee is too expensive. Most comparable facilities I have stayed had free parking. I will be returning to the area frequently and the parking fee will definitely be a consideration when making my decision on future lodging.

Very clean but in some spots the building age is beginning to show age. Staff is top notch and truly great accommodations. The 2- items holding me back from a 5-star rating are the thin floor/ceiling separation. We heard the overhead neighbor stomping every night at 11:00PM-2:30 AM. The breakfast was only average. No waffle maker. Only bananas out one day for fruit selection, and only BOLD, or decaf for coffee. I prefer medium blends. I will return because the price, space, and location make it worth it. Oh, the parking fee daily is unacceptable in my opinion.

Lastly, the property charges 27.50 per car for self parking which was not disclosed until check in. They even admitted that they have the local police patrol to ticket people without passes. This is NOT a premium parking location. Its simply a money grab.

I plan to write a letter to expedia outlining all the things that went wrong. I ended up paying at two different Marriott's and they blamed expedia. I plan to write letters to several companies including the Baltimore Sun for the hell we were put through by expedia, uber and two totally irresponsive Marriotts

Our planned late arrival (10:30-ish pm) was… interesting. We try to choose Marriott based on consistent, higher-level facilities, neighborhoods, etc. This location was sub par to our typical experience. Lobby was clean & fresh, staff friendly & efficient, however, as we drove our car around to where our room was located, we noticed a lot (a LOT) of people just sitting, wandering around outside with seemingly nothing going on, watching us drive by (remember, it was 10:30 pm). Being from Chicago, we know what similar neighborhoods are like. Room was fine but older and a bit band-aided to appear more fresh & modern than it was. Surrounding area is very industrial and NOT in a city-type location with nice places to walk to for coffee, dinner, shopping, etc. Thankful we’re only here one night - couldn’t get out fast enough.

Fantastic staff, all so lovely and helpful. Hotel very clean in a wonderful location, very near to the fabulous shopping mall and about 15 minutes to the beautiful Redondo Beach. Would definitely return! One criticism would be a lack of coffee machine in reception, it would be nice to have coffee in the seating area after a busy day shopping!.

Staff was great except when I checked in I was asked if a double queen room was ok. I said I don’t want a double bed I need a queen for me and my husband. The front desk assured me it was 2 queen beds so I said ok. After unloading our truck of all our stuff upstairs we realized it was not queen beds they were full size! They were also not comfortable at all. Big disappointment

I did not like that I had to pay more $150 when I got there because their employees said I booked three a third party. I did not like they charged me $27.75 per day to park my car there . The room itself was clean and adequate. The bathroom was horrible it definitely needed upgrades. The grounds were clean and they did offer amenities which were great.

Well stocked full kitchen is very convenient for cooking own meal. Laundry room is very convenient, too.

One thing i didnt like was the parking, why do you charge 28$ a night?? Not even an ocean front resort and i have to pay to park?? Other than that, everything was awesome!

Number of safety concerns throughout the property. Room 1011 had a staple/nail sticking out of the carpet near the kitchen/living room area. Numerous masonry blocks were loose and not secured in place. Not nearly enough personnel at the front desk.

Our 1st day and check-in when we got to the room, it was trash. That hadn't been empty. Day 2, the maid came in and half did the room? I have pictures of that. I had to go to the front office and complain about her services. They sent her back to clean the room again. She got mad, walked out and i opened up the door and asked her. Why did you slam the door if you would have? Did it right? The first time you would not have to come the front destier, called and asked about her services and I told him they're unacceptable, they did work with me to try to solve this problem. So I appreciate the front desks service then that night the knob. falls off of the door to the closet. Some of the rooms are outdated. The one I stayed in was outdated.

Let start from the moment i walked up and thruout my stay was over the top. I and my wife had a pleasantly great time. The room was sparkling and accommodating. The staff was very hospitable. Cleaning crew was outstanding. The whole time we stayed there was peace and quiet. Much needed relaxing stay. Thank you for a pleasant stay. We will be back.

Location was amazing, staff awesome and very helpful, really great amenities and well maintained on the outside. The room was disappointing. Beds were not as comfortable as other locations I’ve stayed at, bathroom was not cleaned very well and I would say it’s outdated. Couldn’t get the outlet for blinds to work and usb would have been nice. Not bad if you plan on spending time outside it’s great and surprisingly quiet.

I loved how I didn't feel like I was staying in a hotel, it was like having my own little apartment for the weekend! The rooms was very big and accommodating in every way. Beautiful landscaping. Great complimentary breakfast. 100% recommend!

It was a pleasant visit. The property was well maintained and the facilities were nice. Breakfast had many options, only thing I could say is that I wish the breakfast was till 10 am everyday. We were on holidays and gelt we had to get up earlier than we wanted to make it to breakfast during the week.

Room was spacious and quiet. We did not have wifi for an evening into the next morning. Close enough for a quick drive to Redondo Beach and plenty of stuff for eating options.

I likely that it was safe, clean. Well lit, staff eas friendly, courteous and well verse with the property. Eager to assist with anything that the guests needed.

The place was nice. Breakfast was good. Room was nice. Bed was not a comfortable as I would like and the pull out couch was terrible. I wanted to go into the jacuzzi but it was a weird color.

The $25 per day parking fee did not come as a surprise but it seemed excessive. Rooms were clean but need an upgrade to earn the rather high room rate. For example, door frames and walls were scuffed, the ceiling was the old fashion cottage-cheese materials, walls were thin and noise from adjoining rooms was constant. Property location is quite good though not close to the beach.

It’s a longstanding property and it shows in how the rooms are worn and in need of updating. It was a last minute booking though, and it placed us as close to the hospital as possible. The front desk staff was friendly, and that made me feel better about the condition of the room.

Thr room was more like a studio than a hotel room, with an oven, microwave , full size fridge, fully equipped.

The staff was friendly and the outside property was well maintained. However, the inside needs renovations. Our carpet was old and the floor was uneven. I liked their breakfast, but they never seemed to have enough food for everyone.

10 stars for amazing staff, but the property is in need of repairs. Mold growing in the corner of the bathrooms, which means it’s growing in the walls. Several cracks and rust in bath tub. Microwaves need updated. Extremely banged up. I highly recommend a no pet policy to be placed. The air conditioning's was making a loud screeching noise.

I like the safety of the parking, the room was beaitiful and very comfortable. The check-in clerk when I arrived was awesome, friendly and super knowledgeable with food/restaurant recommedations and touristy activities. Overall it was a great trip and the accomodations were the cherry on top!!

Good experience, friendly staff but be aware that there is an expensive charge for parking that I wasn’t aware. Is not an area that you would expect a charge for parking, the hotel has a huge parking and is more expensive then others around so parking should have been included.

We were displeased with the cleaniness of the room. It had an odor of mildew and worst of all finding a 2 inch long cockroach hanging on the curtain.

Enzo was so nice and very accommodating! Jess went out of his way to help me. I had to meet a group of 7 people from the Philippines. I only met one person. So, I asked him a favor to call me if they showed up. He did! These 2 staff are assets to the hotel. Will book again in the future.

The place was decent, but it could use some updating. It has the 80s feel per my wife. Beds were comfortable.

Over all hotel excellent except the room above me was very noisy and every time there walking the ceiling was making a terrible creaking noise that made it difficult to sleep.
