The Netflix, YouTube, and cast features on our TV did not work. The tv channels were not great, that was super annoying. The wifi was not reliable and kept disconnecting. EV Charging was very slow and had a time limit, it would stop charging in the middle of the night once the 4hr time was up and I would have to go down stairs and restart the charging process.

I asked staff if they knew where the AYSO national office was located, since many of us were booked and some by a block to attend some trainings, they had no idea the office is located next door to the right. They should be aware of reservation blocks and what events are happening. Also, most annoying part was when I was running late

Big room Pool, spa was closed, it's the only reason I got the room was to swim lapse and sit in the spa as it was close to the venue I was at, and a bottle of water was $10 that's just ridiculous, asked about getting a lower rate on the room because the amenities weren't there as advertised and was told that they couldn't

Right now I am NOT HAPPY! 1 I stayed there Monday 2/2/26 to 2/3/26. The room according to my receipt from hotels.com should have been $302.98. I paid $150 of that in cash. Now on 2/5/26, I see a charge pending on my card for $337.02. I know there was a security deposit, that should have been refunded back to my card the day I checked out. IT HAS NOT BEEN! Now I am having to take time out of my life to write this and will have to call the hotel tomorrow. Because I have just finished another 12 hour work day! AND your app is NOT letting me see everything I am typing. So I have to type this in a text to myself, copy and paste it into the app. I am completely annoyed at all of this!

I was dissatisfied, because I didn’t get the room ttype that I reserved. The newly renovated room was not very inviting as far as the style- modern retro. The only chair in the room was a desk chair, which was hard. The pillows and matress were very hard. There was also a fowl odor on the restaurant side entrance.

I booked a king suite room because we needed the pull out sofa bed for our son. The pull out sofa bed was so worn out all we could feel was the metal springs in it. The room was incredibly outdated (popcorn ceilings for example), large stains all over the carpets including the entire hallway on the 5th floor. Half of the outlets in our room didn’t work. When I asked the front desk to switch rooms due to these factors all they said was that they’re sold out. Incredibly disappointed. Will never stay here again.

Loved the renovations, but some of the finishings in the bathroom looked rushed and not done to a professional status, when we stepped into the walk in shower we thought we were going to fall through bc it made a fun noise when u walked in it, it shouldn't make noise when u walk on the shower floor, everything was new but it just looked thrown together and the pricing for beverages (water etc) was way too high. Breakfast was not complimentary and should have been and we had to pay for parking to stay there i didn't like that either. The ice machines didn't work on several floors which was a headache.

The staff was nice, when we checked in, the first room was next to people who had smoked weed, smell was real bad told front desk, moved us to another room hallway carpet filthy, room was okay bathroom was not clean properly, carpet in room dirty with spots all over it, then we were awaken by someone beating on the door, they had the wrong room and they were intoxicated this was at 4:00 am very scary, We usually stay at Double tree and never had these problems, being disable i was not happy, at check out their were no carts, i asked the desk the staff found me a cart that was dirty pant all over it, i had to clean it before i used it. i joined your club but if this is the norm I may have to go back to my other choice my Hilton honors club. again, after what i paid for three days i was totally disappointed for what i stayed in. My wife and I love to do our getaways and unfortunately after 39 years of marriage and our little get aways this was our first time staying with your hotel, we chose it from reviews and pictures but in person was not what the pictures displayed.very disappointing.

Terrible outdated hotel , I booked this hotel because the recent reviews said it was new recently remodeled rooms and pictures . We paid $ 1387.00 for 4 nights to get an old room with disgusting dirty carpet and terrible smell. On our 2nd day we didn’t have water from 9-3pm they didn’t bother to inform us, we called front desk to ask why we didn’t have water and thats when they told us it was due to renovations . I’ve been using Orbitz and Holiday Inn for many years and is the first time I have such a terrible experience .

Hotel is currently getting remodeled, front desk failed to mention that there were multiple options for our stay (deposit depended on the floor). Our rooms AC did not work and had to move to a different room after we’ve unpacked. Second night, power went out only within the hotel. Didn’t have power for 4 hours, the rooms were sooo hot! And after checking out and asking for some sort of compensation, they reduced a total of $18 from our two night stay. Plus you have to pay for parking and breakfast on site is $27 per person

This place is okay. Easy to find Convenient. Nothing is included in your stay and it’s all expensive. Front desk was efficient and kind. Beds were typical Holiday inn, place and grounds were nice and clean. Convenient to get to the cruise port from here. 15 minute drive.

My second stay at this hotel & it didn’t disappoint. Beds are really comfy & rooms are clean. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms this stay & its was super nice! Only the wifi & smart tv wasn’t working 100% of the time on my floor I think due to the renovation but it wasn’t a big issue. Staff are friendly. Guest laundry room available. Would defo recommend this hotel.

I really liked the check in, everything was clean. The air conditioning was good. Loud, but good. The beds and chair squeaked so bad when sitting in them or when my husband would turn over, that it woke my son (in the other bed) and I up anytime he moved. Also, I asked for a wake up call that never came and when I called to check out the front desk clerk was a little rude. It’s not a bad place, but the bed was horrendous and the night staff clerk(s) were not as good as expected.

We didn’t get the King Suite with sofa bed for three adults for two nights as booked and they kept changing our rooms and upon request three times finally to a twin room which was a hassle as it wasted two hours of our time moving luggage from one floor to another three times. The hotel gave us a tiny refund and took parking off to compensate.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Gateway in Torrance on the 6th floor from 3/2 - 3/5 the external view of the property is exemplary, and the staff is professional and accommodating. Unfortunately, the hotel was filthy the water was shut off for the entire day and there was a terrible odor on the 6th floor. The entire hotel was unkempt and this this is very unfortunate as i think if properly remodeled could be restored to its original beauty. I would not stay in this hotel ever again.

The maintenance is not good. The room phone didn't work so i had to call reception desk front my cell phone, long wait as there are many customers and they don't know you are a guest since you call from a cell phone. The bathroom was in bad condition.

They did give us another room that one as well have a strange odor and the AC didn't work they did send up a guy to fix it .The carpet walking up to the room was absolutely disgusting. But the most horrible thing about our stay was we were awakened about 1:30 with the room next door having a party I called the front desk and I was told that they already had a report of it and that the guests had left and I told him the party is still going on .They did send up security and they immediately turned down the music when security left they still were playing music they eventually left about 2:00 by this time my sleep was Disturbed and I had an early morning 6-hour drive home not happy with my stay this time not at all.
