Staff was outstanding!

Breakfast was very good. They had a pancake machine for the kids, Chobani yogurt, great coffee machines that were open 24x7. The rooms were spacious. The rooms had microwave and a mini fridge. The rooms were big and very comfy. Very good value. The staff were nice. Nothing really.

Excellent place to stay. Wonderful breakfast. Short drive to Niagara Falls for a better price.

We did not realize that you had to leave the light switch on the door on in order for our chargers to work. figured it out this morning and got things charged

Everything was great clean. The people were very respectful and friendly. The breakfast was great most hotels you go to the breakfast is horrible but the breakfast there was awesome.

Bed was very comfortable

The breakfast was fine. They had two options for eggs, two different types of sausages some home fries a pancake machine. If you want waffles they had them. You can just heat them up. They had oatmeal some fruit muffins choices of juices coffee. It was fine. Our room was clean enough towels, stuff like that. There was a lot of shopping nearby and that’s why I usually stay at this hotel. The only thing that I would say is the third floor elevator area from when I checked in on a Thursday till I checked out on a Saturday the floor had never been clean. It was covered in what look like coffee everywhere. And for one full day, there was some towels in the hallway that I’m sure a hotel guest through there.

The outlet/charging situation in the room was difficult to manage. The fact that you couldn’t charge anything when the lights were off was frustrating. Most ppl charge their devices at night so when that wasn’t an option we had to improvise.

I was able to check in early due to an earlier-than-anticipated arrival. The staff was great about that! Also, I found a very clean room, prepped and supplied with all I needed. The breakfast was also good both mornings, although a bigger fruit selection would be nice (just apples provided). Thanks for a great stay! I’d look forward to being at this hotel again.

Found candy wrappers left by prior guest in the corner of the room. The usb charging ports between the beds were physically broken. The linens and towels were fine. Wanted to try the swimming pool but there was very noticeable algae on the bottom that ruined that idea. Personnel at the front desk were very pleasant to work with.

The staff were attentive and quick to resolve usforgetting our key in our room.

I gave 3 starson facilities because there was not hair dryer/blower in the room.

The room was not completely cleaned, the kleenex was never refilled, the bathroom mirror was not cleaned, there were bobby pins on the floor, the shower door was difficult to slide and made a horrible noise when doing so, the shower head didn't change mode as it suggested, their were smudged hand prints all over the windows, the desk chair was very unstable, there was a toothpaste top in the sink drain, the washcloths were very thin, some of the towel had old stains, and the staff (outside of when I checked out) was very unprofessional by demeanor and profanity use amongst themselves in front of guests. I may have forgotten some things but it was evident there are things that need fixing.

Convenient location

The breakfast was decent , bed were comfy and hotel staff was beyond kind . However the cleaning people need to be taught how to clean. First room had hair everywhere and bathroom floor was dirty, second room had food crumbs on the bed and mold in the shower, third room also was dirty . Food in corners and on sides on furniture. One of the mattresses had a giant stain on the side and the protector was ripped off of it. Would not recommend staying here . I'm highly disappointed.

Staff were very friendly!. We stayed for a 3-day family trip. Location is also very convenient. Breakfast had a good selection. Beds were average comfortable, pillows and mattresses were slightly worn out. The automatic blinds remote wouldn’t work. The pool was the best fun for the kids, however the cleanliness of the pool area floor and common area was below average. The floor in our rooms bathroom could use a scrubbing. Other than that we would definitely stay again!

If I could give this review zero stars I would. I went back home to Tonawanda for a funeral and had to book in a hurry. This location had great reviews and seemed close to all of my family. After getting in late the first night I went to bed, tossed an turned all night and pulled the sheets off the uncomfortable bed. To my surprise when I woke they had covered two dried spots of someone's URINE with new sheets and should have thrown away the mattress entirely but decided to make me sleep in it which I would not have known had I not pulled the sheets off. The shower curtain was disgusting, yellow at the bottom and covered in what seemed to be blood or bugars. After giving them three hours to get me a new room they didnt and I had to wait for two more hours where I was almost late to the celebration prior to putting me in a new room. Zero offer to waive fees or rectify the situation so this must happen often. The room they moved me to also had dead roaches. I slept in my clothes and high recommend you run far far away from this location.

We booked a room in this hotel while we were traveling to NY, we spent a night there to relax after long day driving! The hotel is covert clean , friendly staff, breakfast was very good ! Self parking and has a nice pool to swim ! Very good hotel !

This hotel had friendly staff, but the room we booked was lacking. We booked a king suite. The bathroom was horribly laid out and the toilet did not flush well. They must have know they had plumbing issues because the toilet paper disintegrated upon use. The bed was soft and comfortable but had a smell. The room has one tiny trashcan and the bathroom door opened into the toilet. Only one sink, so if someone needed to wash their hands while another person was in the bathroom the door opened into their face. I don’t think I have stayed at a more poorly designed hotel room. All the wall plugs around the bed were broken, so it was hard to charge phones and use a cpap machine. The traffic outside was loud and could be heard from inside the room. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again.

My kiddos, partner and I had a job to do in Buffalo. We stayed in Tonawanda and our stay was amazing! We enjoyed the pool, even though the heater was having a hard time. My kids want to live here.

It was an okay stay, the room didn’t look like it was fully cleaned well. We had a super noisy upstairs neighbor jumping around jumping off of things and pounding around after “quiet time” and they stopped for a little bit and did it again. Made it very hard to fall asleep. I’ve stayed at a holiday in before at a different location and had no problems. So this wasn’t the best experience

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Tonawanda, NY was perfect.The King size room had plenty of room, a nice sized bathroom with a walk-in shower and the kitchenette area had a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker and a larger than normal fridge. Like I said, perfect!

It could have been a little cleaner. We were disappointed we couldn't get adjoining rooms. When they say breakfast is until 9:30, they mean it: they were giving the 2-minute warning at 9:28, and the doors were shut by 9:35. Overall, it was a place to sleep and shower. We were only there one night, to attend dance recitals. Good enough but I would not be in a hurry to stay there again.

Breakfast was adequate for a hotel at this tier. It would have been nice to have at least 1 item change in the breakfast so you are not having the same things every day. Since we were there only for 2 nights, it didn't matter but any longer would have been a bit irritating. Overall the place is worth the price and good to stay. The pool was clean and a very decent size.

One room had lamps by bedside not working and the other room had broken blind control. Reported this to the front desk.

I liked that it was close rainbow rink which we were in town for a skating event. The rooms were a good size for 3 people. There were 2 minor issues. The first was the usb outlet wasn't working unless it was jammed in on the side nead the beds. The second was that the light behind the beds were flickering, although they were low it could be difficult to fall asleep with. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was great and plentiful. Fulfilling after a night of skating. I would stay there again.

The only negative was that my credit card was charged before I arrived. Payment was to be on another card. This was fixed swiftly and the staff was nice, but there was a hold on that money for a couple days.

Besides that, rooms don’t seem to be insulated properly because we could hear people fighting and arguing for hours even beyond midnight. Stumping, banging and what sounded like wrestling that made it impossible for my party to sleep. On a positive note, personnel was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were fairly clean.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful to me and always checked to see if everything was good when they saw me. The room was very clean and felt comfortable being in. I’d gladly come back and stay at that hotel.

They need to do better with the breakfast

Conveniently located and included parking were positives. An employee called at 9:30pm requesting I come back to the registration desk to verify credit card information. This was after having checked in six hours prior. That was the only negative part of this hotel experience.

This was a very clean and accommodating hotel stay. We were somewhat disappointed in the mattresses as they were very soft and uncomfortable. We were placed in a room facing the busy street traffic that was noisy throughout the night.

All the outlets shut off when lights are off. This means if you need to charge you phone an night you are out of luck!!!! Most ridiculous thing I have heard of.

Cons: the biggest thing (to me) was the shower drain. There was black mold growing out of it. It was absolutely gross. I placed a washcloth over it so we didnt have to look at it. There were some stains on the carpeting and marks on the walls. Nothing major besides the drain but the room could use updating. Pros: the staff was very friendly. There was a nice (free) breakfast. Beds were clean and comfy. The bathroom was stocked with Dove products including hand soap, which most hotels dont offer. The location was also good. Right in between Niagara Falls and Buffalo.

Great service

After 8 hours of long drive I went to the hotel with my 5 & 7 years old kids with my wife & othe family members where I had 2 room booked one was good another one when I punch the card someone from inside screaming at me then I went to the front desk again get the room was not the one it’s showing then again come back and get another one then got another type of room which is not the right one than I give up and stay on the room.

This hotel was our hub for a U Buffalo tour with my HS senior. We are a family of 4. Friendly and helpful staff. Check in was a breeze. Our room had two queen beds and a double pull out couch. Pull out was very uncomfortable:( Large room, two tvs for the designated areas. Awesome free continental breakfast. Cons:No trash can in the room, shower could have been cleaner. Too much hair from other guests. All in all, not a bad stay. Good value.

Nice breakfast buffet

My family had a relaxing stay while we explored Niagra falls and surrounding sites.

We found a computer generated note which stated that because of the large number of guess we did not get to all the rooms so if you need anything go to the front desk!

Chose this hotel as it is located close to family that is in the area. Second time staying there and you can see the difference in the hotel in the last 6 months. It wasn’t dirty but it can stand a deep clean as I could smell that the carpets need cleaning. Staff is excellent! I didn’t eat breakfast but there was a variety & plenty of it.
