The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. Location was close enough to the train station and a lot of shops and restaurants. The whole place is outdated. Just the fact that I had to leave the key at reception every time I would leave was a pain

The location was good and the room was large. Everything was dirty: sink, shower, floor, walls, curtains.. it was like a crime scene. There was no extra TP in the bathroom. The staff was unfriendly. “Cleaning” would only be done once per two days. The shower knob was so grimed up it took two people to turn it on, because it could barely move.

It was good, the bathtub had some stains in it but overall everything was clean, it didn’t have a weird smell and the bed was really comfortable. It was also spacious. The air conditioner worked really well and the big mirror was really helpful. The trashcan was tiny and there wasn’t enough tissue and hangers. I wish there were more hangers. And we run out of tissue the 2nd day, so I also wished there were more tissue. Also, there was only 1 chair, so me and my friend had to take turns using it while getting our make up ready.

One of the morning front staff was simply dangerous, not hospitable. I understand not everyone has to speak English, but a little in this industry would have been nice. However not only it's hard to communicate with front staff, upon language miscommunication front staff got mad at us and were threatening, yelling scarily. If only I wasn't with a male friend I'm not sure what the guy will do. If he spoke nicely I think everything would have gone better. A staff training is needed immediately, aside from the obvious glaring mold issue... If you check the smoking room there's wide spread black mold issue going on ?

Good location, very easy access to railway. Thats pretty much it. Place is not clean at all. There are mold on the walls, the hotel is very old. There is dust inside in the air conditioner. Worst of all windows dont open so you cant even have fresh air. You have to breathe mold air. On top of all this staff is not welcoming at all they barely speak and smile to you. They look like they hate their job and every customer that arrives. Wouldn't stay again.

Location, spacious & bright room, abundant toiletries, huge bathroom, speedy elevators, quiet neighborhood. Early 10 a.m. checkout.

The rooms were large, but the facilities themselves were completely rundown and uncared for. There was even severe water damage in one of the rooms that had been covered up with a towel, curtains, and mismatched wallpaper. My group even felt that we needed to buy our own shower shoes from the nearby don quiote to use inside the rooms. Normally, we’d be okay with “roughing it,” but we were also asked to turn in our keys whenever we left the building (and just say our room number to get it back), and the lack of a safety deposit box or any additional locks on the doors made us feel too uncomfortable to stay for our full reservation.

Good location for us, train stations very close to us, staff friendly and helpful. Message response very prompt. Older style could do with some tlc

Nothing. Never again I don’t understand the good ratings! We had a double room with 2 beds. The carpet was dirty and under one bed was plastic left by someone before us. We had a non smoking room — it was unfortunately obviously a smoking room. Everything in our luggages smells like cigarettes now. The wallpaper was off the wall and had black, humid spots on it. We couldn’t open the window, it was locked. The toilet wasn’t working properly — no water running. Stuff speaks no English and wasn’t responding to our complains. Horrible!!!!

Amazing location. A few mins walk from two different stations (local and JR) and only one stop away from Shinjuku. It was great value for money

I’m a solo traveler and I stayed for 9 nights, the location is honestly excellent you’re a minute away from to major JR stations with great connection to most of tokyo, there is a supermarket located directly below the hotel, and i had no trouble finding it when i first arrived, i stayed on the 2nd floor so never had to use the elevator. i was close to the laundry which was also helpful although the washing machines probably could use a clean cycle through them by management every so often as they have a bit of a smell from them which can linger on your clothes. The room itself was very large, especially for Tokyo, the layout was also nice 1 main room with a double bed, and a hallway with bathroom, shower, and toilet all separate from each other. The natural lighting was also great in my room due to a large window facing a park, although my window did have a privacy glass so i was not able to see out of it or open it. the air conditioner worked excellent but was a little loud at times. Now to get to the nitty gritty, these rooms are very dated, and are in a dire need for renovations, the carpet is nearly completely worn away in some spots and the walls are covered in scuffs and scratches, the bathroom has definitely seen better days, although somewhat clean the shower room was littered with surface mold all over the roof and walls, nothing to get you sick but definitely isn’t ideal, i’m probably a lot more tolerant with that sort of stuff than most and i’ve stayed in some pretty rough places, so to summarize, if you’re used to staying in chains like the Hilton this place probably isn’t for you, but if you’re like me and are happy with somewhere to sleep and keep your things and be able to relax you’ll probably find this place alright.

Great location in the north part of Shinjuku, close to loads of great restaurants (not just Japanese but loads of other world cuisines too!), shops and a train station. Walkable to the centre of Shinjuku. Hotel was very quiet and the family room was huge. Hotel in need of a renovation as interiors felt very old and dated, but to be honest this is probably reflected in the lower price we paid. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location with 2 major metro lines within a couple minutes walk. Need to leave key at front desk so sometimes need to wait for staff to return back to desk when getting back to the room at night.

Location is quite strategic as it located very near to the train station Front desk staff are not friendly and most of them cannot speak and understand english language. Make very difficult to communicate to them when problem arise and they do not able to solve the problem
