Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests expressing satisfaction with their stay, while others have significant complaints. Common themes include issues with cleanliness, particularly in rooms and bathrooms, and problems with amenities such as breakfast and kitchen supplies.

- 2/5
Place definitely needs some updating. Feels old and run down.Hinges broken on kitchen cabinets. Countertop was warped. Vending machine did not work. Very limited breakfast bars/muffins. No workers ever at the check in/out desk (those people must be sent to do everything). Very understaffed. It is on the less expensive side, so you definitely get what you pay for.The Holiday Inn across the street is much better.

Its an ok place. You get what you pay for. The staff is absolutely terrible, they are never at the front desk and God forbid you actually need something like towels or anything along those lines. The room itself is clean enough and the appliances work. Its worth staying at if you need to.

Danny at the front desk when we checked in a little later than we thought we would was excellent. Length of time coffee was available.

There were no kitchen amenities/utensils to be found—we had to go to the front desk to ask for them—and that was a pain. We would have been happy with paper plates and plastic utensils. A positive note was that we had a plumbing issue that we brought to the attention of the front desk employee on duty. She did have someone take care of the problem while we were out. We had plenty of towels so we didn’t feel the need to request new ones. The “new towels” policy was clearly explained at check in. The purpose of this trip was to attend a dog show and I believe the hotel was almost at capacity. We didn’t hear any noise and all of the public areas were very clean.

hotel was close to the place where my event was so getting to and from was easy. Price was good, but Extended Stays typically are cleaner then this one. car in the parking lot at 3 am blasting music, hair from previous guest left in shower, carpet was old/worn, not particularly clean
- 4/5
Love the kitchenette

Location Being charged pet fees for service dogs!!! They don’t maintain the property and charge for things like toilet paper and on weekends don’t expect to get clean towels!!! Management has horrible smoking habits and have no clue about personal hygiene when getting in your face!!!

I will stay here again. I really liked the kitchen, and the windows could be opened about 2 inches, just enough for fresh air.
- 4/5
Next time, I'm in Baltimore. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
I also think the "Free Breakfast" was a bit oversold.
- 4.5/5
All of the staff was wonderful especially Lisa and June?
- 3.5/5
Noisy
- 0.5/5
The breakfast was terrible and the location by the front door seriously. The WiFi took a long time coming on. The trash can was hidden. I think you should have paper plates, cups, utensils on site.?
- 4/5
Breakfast options. Muffins when available were stale. Other hotel guests would take all stock once placed in area. Hotel staff did a poor job of monitoring.
- 0.5/5
The television didn’t work, no hot water, it was warm and dirty hallway carpets.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, they don’t provide coffee in the rooms or hair dryers. Again, the room was clean and the hallway was quiet.
- 0.5/5
I only booked because i needed a kitchen but unfortunately their stove didn't work effectively and they had no dishes so I had to go out and purchase my own.
- 3/5
Its location is good. The rates are not expensive. The hotel interior was not enticing. It seemed like it needed refurbishment The room smelled very stale, and the bathroom was stinky. The “to go” breakfast was very basic.
- 3/5
Hotel staff is great. Rooms are clean. Full refrigerator. They give you a set of dishes if you simply ask. Free parking. Great price. The HVAC unit is noisy when coming on and off. The appliances are old, but they work. The bed was okay. The breakfast contained muffins and nutri-grain bars as well as oatmeal. They can run out if you don't get down there early.
- 3/5
When we asked the feont desk, they told us that there were no extra pillows available. When accessing the lobby, both handicapped automatic door open buttons did not work.
- 5/5
Everything amazing as always
- 4/5
Nice clean room. Some of the other guests were noisy
- 4/5
The room was fresh and clean, however I feel the halfway carpets need cleaning. The hotel was quiet
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff were so professional and warm welcoming. I spoke to about 3 different staff members on different occasions and they all were very helpful and polite. I need a can opener and they had brand new ones not an old one that looked used
- 3/5
We stay in this hotel because it is right off 83S and close to the motorcycle races and mostly due to the hotel being Pet Friendly. We travel with our two dogs everywhere so that is very important to us. My "fellow pet owners" please, please listen up: CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR FUR BABIES!!!! This behavior could possibly lead to a hotel to stop being Pet Friendly!! I clean up after my dogs everywhere we and I request that you do the same!!! PLEASE be respectful and a responsible pet owner as it is a PRIVILEGE for us to have the ability to bring our pets into a hotel, not a guarantee!!! The hotel has no obligation to continue to allow pets so let's not throw it away!!!
- 3/5
Employees were pleasant however hotel badly in need of updating
- 1/5
Nothing like the photos. Strong smell of cigarettes everywhere. You have to ask for basic kitchen supplies which are old and unclean. A toaster and coffee maker were not available. We intended to stay for several weeks but left within 24 hours. Sketchy
- 3/5
In town for lacrosse event. Would not utilize hotel again
- 5/5
It was a nice stay, friendly service
- 4/5
I have to be very honest. I am only leaving a review, because had I gone by some of these reviews I would not have stayed here. The hotel was very clean. There are no roaches in this hotel. I am very particular and only stay in Marriott hotel or Hyatt. I was very satisfied with my stay here. Friendly staff. I was comfortable and felt safe. I would stay here again.

Room was clean. Hotel is a bit dated but gets the job done. Would consider staying here again if I get back for a sporting event in Baltimore
- 3/5
Stayed for 3 nights over a weekend w our dogs. We’ve stayed here before. Pets are pretty welcome and the grounds are good but the fee is high. Also they seem to sometimes steer pet families into the less appealing rooms. We requested a 2nd floor room but were assigned to a busy corridor on the 1st next to the parking lot. Dogs were triggered by noise all weekend. The day of checkout the hotel woke us up and triggered the dogs again at 9:30 am knocking on our door. They came back 2 more times before checkout at 11!!! Made us feel like we were being kicked out. We have not had that experience at other hotels. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. Some inconsistencies w amenities compared to another recent stay. No hairdryer.
- 4/5
Very outdated and smelled weird
- 4/5
Solid hotel option with proximity to restaurants and stores. Stayed with two dogs and we were all cozy. Hotel was convenient, quiet, clean with a good bed. Only downsides are - breakfast is grab and go wrapped cereal bars etc not a full meal, kitchen dishes have to be requested and then do not include all the supplies like soap and paper products that other chains provide, property is a bit worn - clean but clearly aged. Staff was superb, friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Surprisingly quiet for a pet friendly hotel. Too small toiletries and too few dishes in the kitchen (until requesting them). But close to lots of stores and restaurants. Comfy and clean bed and bath. Excellent A/C and adequate cable TV. Biggest downsides are the worn out room and aged, unstocked kitchen. But will stay again.
- 1/5
Place has not been maintained . Carpets are dirty stained and smell. Bed is aweful. Description says breakfast and its just a small table in the lobby with coffee and donuts. They lied. I made a big mistake by saving a few dollars and staying here.
- 5/5
Very freindlt Staff,
- 5/5
Nice stay.
- 5/5
Housekeeping did a great job keeping the space tidy, and I appreciated the quiet and comfortable atmosphere throughout the hotel. The location was ideal—close to restaurants, shopping, and major highways, yet still peaceful. The front desk team was always ready to assist with a smile, and I truly felt at home during my stay. Whether you’re traveling for business, relocating, or just need a longer-term place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, value, and excellent service.
- 5/5
The staff at check in and check out were both nice and helpful. The room was very clean and just what I needed for my stay. Some of the furniture could be updated soon just from normal wear, but that’s to be expected. Everything was still useful and clean. I appreciate having an air conditioner that can be controlled in the room. Location is convenient. The three big name gas station/convenient stores are all within an half mile. Overall great stay. I would certainly stay here again.
- 4/5
Stains on the carpet, floor was sticky, microwave needs replacing, kitchen cabinets and countertop are damaged, and the bathtub looks like someone tried to claw their way out of it!
- 3/5
Room had a smell that we could not be rid of despite air freshener spray. Long black hair in shower upon check in. Microwave started to spark and smoke 20 seconds in. You get what you pay for and next time, we will skip the deal and check into a nicer hotel.
- 5/5

If I had received the following review BEFORE I reserved the stay, this is what it would say…..At arrival there were two police cars parked at the hotel entrance. After I checked in I went to
- 5/5
Lisa, Alex, and June, are always very helpful in trying to accommodate specific needs. I hoped for a 2nd or 3rd floor room in the rear of building, due to my being a light sleeper. They most often are able to provide that. Always courteous and attentive.
- 3/5
The very limited breakfast ends at 9:30am, including coffee which a hotel would have available all day for guests.
- 1/5
I thought I booked a room with a recliner when I checked in I asked the clerk to confim that the room had a recliner and he said yes it did. So I completed check in but when I git to the room no recliner! So back to the front desk to find out that they did have a room with a recliner but had to pay another one night fee and he couldn’t refund my money on the other room. Would like to see if something could be done to get a refund on the first room.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean room.
- 1/5
You charged us for two nights and we were only there one night we’re waiting for our refund for the first night. We were not there. Someone said they would call me back the next day and they have not.
- 3/5
The hotel When you enter you have to walk buy a guest in a lawn chair smoking a blunt directly infront of the no smoking within 100 feet sign, watching her "stories". She was super nice though. At one point, the employee was outside smoking a cigarette and another person (maybe a guest, who knows), comes out with a luggage cart and i watched him push it all the way up the hill past the rental space center next door. She said nothing. The breakfast It really is grab and go. Prepackaged granola bars and muffins (only blueberry). Coffee no tea and paclaged Oatmeal. 7-11 is across the street bit not much better. The showers were great, water pressure and heat for days
- 4/5
The plac3 always seems to work out right. Right off highway, lots of food chains near for meals quiet area.
- 5/5
Awesome staff
- 5/5
Great place ,staff is awesome
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
I was there for the holidays of Christmas 2024. I was booked from the 16th of December until the 2nd of January. 2 days before Christmas they were removing the tile in the lobby and when I came back to my room which was on the first floor, the dust from the construction had filtered underneath my door and everything had a coating of white dust on it including my bedding and clothes. Given the next day was Christmas Eve I did not make a complaint or concern. Also on Christmas day I did not mention it. However, the day after Christmas I went to the front desk to ask for someone to come in and run a vacuum wipe down things. The management at that time was very rude about it and said I was not entitled to any housekeeping up until a certain time of my stay and what I mentioned about the dust everywhere from the construction that they created. She was rude and begrudgingly sent someone after. I really expressed my frustration about it. In my 50 years of travel, I have never encountered such a unpleasant person working at a hotel and that's all I'll say.
- 3/5
Limited breakfast choise
- 4/5
Convenient.
- 5/5
Room was fine. "Free breakfast" was a joke...just call it "breakfast snacks" to be honest. Vending machine for snacks didn't work. Everything else ok.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
Nice atmosphere...desireable location.
- 4/5
Liked having a kitchen....having complimentary kitchen supplies upon request is convenient. Will definitely come back for more ESA!
- 5/5
Awesome place
- 1/5
I tried to check in there was a problem
- 2/5
The rooms weren’t that bad and the sleeping area was pretty good. I heard there was a roach issue from one of the employees but it wasn’t that bad for the room I had. I hated the fact the staff wouldn’t let me get a late checkout. I asked early for a late checkout preferably just an extra hour and the staff told me I’d have to ask in the morning as they couldn’t do that. So then I asked in the morning and the lady tells me that because of high volume I can’t do that. I wish it was just not different things being shared with me and i’m sure others run into this problem if I had this. It’s unacceptable that no other hotel i’ve been at has had this issue.
- 1/5
Don’t stay there bathroom was dirty upon check in
- 5/5
The floor was not carpeted and rough and uneven, with a very noticeable sloping floor adjacent to the kitchen, bathroom and bed. There were several broken hinges on the kitchen cabinet doors.
- 4/5
It was a decent spot. Affordable, relatively clean, friendly staff. No gym and breakfast was just coffee and cereal bars
- 5/5
I’ve been here a few nights and it’s been great but tonight was a disaster because LISA did not properly check me out so when I came back in for late check in how I’ve been doing all week , there was a picture of my ID with a note on there saying not to let me stay because there was a balance despite the fact that I am on camera showing giving her my keys to the room and telling her that I was checking out ! The system was down yesterday when I came to check in and I was waiting. A long time , the worker shake called someone to see if the systems were down and took my ID and allowed me to check back in . I believe Lisa was causing chaos trying to get shake in trouble and she still had me listed as checked in when it shows on the camera that after she took my payment of $88.03 at 11:24 am that I turned me keys in and checked out . This literally ruined my night after working 12 hours a day for the past 4 days. Shake has wonderful customer service and so does Danny which is why I continued to stay here until my place is ready in a few weeks.
- 2/5
This property manager had the nerve to try to charge me of damages and then when I asked them about the charges it was for things wrong with the room before I checked in! Once they figured out I wasn’t the cause of the room damage they offered me a refund and another night but the night was suppose to come out of my refund so that’s not even a compensation. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and if you do go take pictures of the room upon check in
- 1/5
This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I woke up to a Kitchen full of roaches. I will NEVER stay here again.
- 2/5
Did not have utensils or cooking pans available. Did not tell us this at check in. Went to the store to get food to cook and had to clean filthy dishes first. Room was not very clean. Staff seemed nice enough, but overall what I paid for wasn’t available or what was I had to clean myself. Very disappointed as other extended stays have been excellent.
- 5/5
Quiet area
- 5/5
Rooms are affordable, clean. Customer Associates are Very Nice and Helpful.
- 4/5
It was close to the fair.
- 2/5
The first room we checked into had dead roach-like bugs all by the door. Can’t believe housekeeping left the room like that. When we went to front desk to change room, they were accommodating but didn’t offer any kind of credit.
- 4/5
The only problem we had with cleanliness was discovered when my wife went to clean up a small amount of coffee that got spilled and found the floor to be pretty dirty, like it was in need of mopping, this was not from the coffee spill. Everything else was great
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
The best thing about the hotel os how quiet the area is. Everything is close by for convenience, however the hotel itself did not have any cookware, utensils, cups, plates, or silverware unless you request it from the front desk. Fresh towels were not available until after 4pm because they all had to be washed. The grab and go breakfast was an absolute joke, coffee and muffins (muffins were expired).
- 5/5
Nice Staff. Affordable. Good Night Sleep
- 5/5
Nice property!
- 1/5
Everything about our stay was just horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
- 5/5
Nice property
- 5/5
The receptionist was very courteous and polite.
- 5/5
We traveled with our dog, and it was great to be able to bring him to this pet friendly hotel. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
- 1/5
Staff was rude disappointing disrespectful not caring at all
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Grab and Go breakfast was a little lacking in the selection department. They only had blueberry muffins and Nutri Gran fruit bars to eat, or you could make packets of oatmeal.
- 3/5
No Kleenex, no paper towels, breakfast was granola bars
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my stay. I have a had a few staycation here.
- 2/5
The hotel is near The Timonium area where there are alot of shops and stores. I saw stains and hair in my towels and the hotel looks ran down and old. Not exciting to be at that location, i think it would be better if it had a face-lift
- 3/5
When we went into our first room (we reserved 2) and turned on the light, roaches ran everywhere. We went to the front desk and were given another room. Our adult daughter and her children told us in the morning, they experienced the same thing when they went into their room (our second reserved room). They were too tired to try to move to another room, since we all checked-in so late.
- 3/5
I had a sore back from the bed both mornings. Terrible pillows. They need to police the smoking in the hotel better.
- 1/5
The power went out last night for 4 hours maybe a little less. All of our food went bad, the room was very cold. No refund was offered at all. Very disappointed, don’t stay here!!

I Would Like A Refund Because I Have Stayed Here Numerous Times As You Can See But After Going To 3 Different Rooms In A Short Time Span Bugs Everywhere & The Staff Pretending That They Didn’t See It Refused To Look At My Picture & Video Evidence Just Blatant Disrespectful I Never Experienced Anything Like This Before If This Matter Can Be Handled Asap Please Because I Lost Money & Didn’t Stay Due To Bugs All Over The Rooms & Beds.
- 2/5
2 roaches in my room
- 4/5
Excellent cleaning
- 2/5
This is a very "Bare bones" facility, but maintenance seemed ok.
- 4/5
When we looked unde the bed just before checking out to make sure we didn’t leave anything,it was obvious that it had not been cleaned there for a while. However, the rest of the room was quite ckean, so under the bed was a minor thing.
- 4/5
This was my first experience at an Extended Stay & I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. My room was very clean & quiet. Having a kitchenette was very nice especially since they supplied dishes & a coffee pot. I’ll definitely stay there again.
- 2/5
The breakfast was a joke, it was only muffins and coffee basically. The bathroom had roaches and it could be because people cook and leave food in the rooms but they can sanitize better and fumigate often.
- 4/5
Clean quiet good value.
- 1/5
We checked in and then went out to grab dinner. Once we returned to get ready for bed, we killed a bug , it was a roach in the bathroom. Then we killed another roach by the pillow/headboard area. Once the sheets were pulled back there was a large stain on the sheets both dark brown / blood like color. We called the front desk to explain the room is dirty and advised we were not staying here.
- 5/5
My Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. For price, older property well maintained. Front Desk and cleaning staff efficient and friendly. Kitchenette ample for basic meal prep and storage.
- 2/5
The room was old and the counter top was peeling, the refrigerator was noisy. The breakfast was coffee and a packaged muffin.
- 1/5
This property is not the cleanest and the rooms leave you with a sense of unease.
- 4/5
Clean room, helpful staff, convenient location
- 4/5
The person checking us in acted like he didnt want to be there. The people in the room next to us had 2 screaming kids that sounded like they were wrestling. Hitting the walls. Banging, screaming until way late into the night. Not the hotels fault. But it happened.
- 3/5
It was an average hotel. Clean, convenient to our needs/ area. It is a bit petty when they do not provide coffee maker and basic tools as in cups paper or otherwise, rather you can “ rent” packages to include these and other items
- 4/5
I had a great stay and was so happy to stay here. It was simple but perfect for my needs. Only issue...I realized my last morning that I'd been sleeping under a blanket with blood on it that I hadnt noticed and it really grossed me out. I told the front desk and they apologized and said they would let the manager know. This was not the best part of my stay, to say the least. Otherwise however, everyone was very nice and it worked well. I hope to hear from mamagement about my bloody sheet. Thank you.
- 4/5
Very clean, friendly staff, room was comfortable which was all I needed.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and the staff very very nice asked how our event was and how we liked our dinner they remembered what we were talking about at check in makes us feel like they were listening I would return again for sure!! Thank you for a great stay!
- 3/5
It was a average hotel but they extended stay element meant they were very few amenities in the room including a coffee maker. I thought that was rather ridiculous. The people at the desk were fine but I didn't feel like they went above and beyond to serve people. I would never stay here again but I can't say that it was a bad state. There are just too many other properties that are better.
- 3/5
I stayed just 2 nights. It was a nice enough place but it was the hardest and most uncomfortable bed and the front desk could not offer any help.
