In the front, the lady scratched my car with that box they used to get my ID and money. The room was nice with your own garage pretty private. Inside the room was clean and nice. another thing, I didn't like was I couldn't communicate with room service using their phone. I finally went in person and asked for food.

Motel is nice, clean and newly renovated - but check in is simply unacceptable! NOBLDY speaks any english:, no explanations in English neither - nor in the room, not outside; driveway is narrow for one car only - so poorly designed! Office is unfriendly, they communicate with you thru a tiny transfer window, with black tinted glass- right next to the very busy highway - cannot hear or see anything.., No extra pillows, blankets, very few towels..

I couldn’t bring guest over I had rented the room for three days and I brought over some friends so we could get dress for a concert we were going to and the employee told me I had to pay to let them inside my room to change and I said no immediately they closed the garage where I had my truck parked and they told me that I couldn’t take out my stuff until I paid . My guest got embarrassed and sad because they felt it was there fault when it wasn’t so I talked to the front desks and she was very rude so I left without a refund

Hotel is more of a motor inn. Your room is above your garage. Staff was accommodating and spoke English. The room was very spacious. Very modernistic shower, not for the modest it is clear glass and fully visible from the main room. Nice touch it did have a couch. Location is on a main highway. I would stay again.

The property was in the middle of a road that is a lot of traffic. the only thing that was inconvenient was that you don't get to have a personal key to access your room. , but the services was good.

While the reviews were decent for this place, this is unlike any other hotel I have ever stayed in. And I will say the price was the tantalizing aspect for this property. 1- Be warned: You check in in the driveway next to the highway. It’s loud and you cannot understand the staff because they are on the other side of glass talking to you through an old microphone. My language barrier did not help either. 2- You do not get a key. Every room has a private garage which the front desk has to operate for you in order to enter you room. Once you are in the room, you can lock the door behind you. But not having a key bothers me. 3- The room itself appeared very clean and had a unique modern style to it. However, my room was advertised as “Smoke Free.” The room stunk of old cigarets. The comforter and sheets had multiple cigarette burns. The mattress protector had a large yellow/brown stain on it. All of the bedding and pillows appeared old and worn. No battery’s in the remote. The room service menu had graffiti in it. As the evening went on, there was a sewer smell that I found to be emanating from the drains in the shower and sink. The wifi information was incorrect. 4- I ordered a pizza from room service. When I got it, there was a puddle of liquid that soaked all of the crust which made the pizza a soggy mess. 5- I couldn’t handle the cigarette and the sewage odor, it made it unbearable. I ended up leaving

If you have a car then Motel Via is your best option. You get you own one car garage. Its a really big updated room, very clean with AC. Take a Uber to the malls nearby. The have English speaking staff. I would recommend Motel Via to my friends and stay here again.

I have stayed here in the past, with no issues. This time, the reception claims they didn't have my reservation nor the room I reserved, even after I showed them my Confirmation # and information from the app. We were able to make the best of it, but it would've been better had we were provided the room reserved. Other than that, it was a pretty good stay.

Didn't know this place was not visitor friendly. And wanted to charge for another person to come visit me

Restful stay. Only drawback is the TV was not wi-fi connected for netflix.

Unfortunately, the property did not provide room keys as the garage door acted as the main entry point and felt unsafe over not having direct access to our room or securing it. Additionally, they did not disclose that the hotel has adult services and are not family friendly. We turned our TV on and pornographic content was the the first available channels.

The front desk person her name is Alma was extremely rude and canceled my reservation after processing my card she told me that I needed to learn Spanish and cussed me out in Spanish my wife heard the whole thing she then after 10 minutes of speaking with other staff and telling her that Expedia was her boss she relented and recharged my card it took 1 hour to process and get a room Alma is one of the worst people at the front desk I've ever had the experience I cannot receive a telephone number from the corporate office for hotel via to file a complaint so I am filing a complaint with you

I always stay at Hotel Via when I go to Tijuana. Hotel is clean. staff is friendly. Good wifi and food from room service is good as well.

It’s a really good condition hotel but just get ready super noisy nighttime

This motel was perfect as our last minute choice. The only thing we had an issue was there wasn't any hot water for the jacuzzi. Other than that, we'd stay here again.

Made us wait 3 hours only to tell us, “sorry, we overbooked”. No compensation. No warning. No remorse. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel check in.

Went to the location at the check in time with my conformation. They said that they were all sold out and did not have anything available. I was not even allowed in the hotel, I was sitting out side at 2:00 at night with no place to go in a very unsafe city. I am lucky that my wife and kids were not with me. Expedia needs to do a better job with conformations!!!!!!!

Disliked - no one spoke english - It would help if there was atleast one stool or chair to sit. I did not see any trash can / dust bin in the room.

It was a really nice stay. Big room, enclosed parking, nice staff only thing the shower has a glass door ( I know maybe childish but I like my privacy lol) bed was a little hard too but not a big deal. I would stay again

I quite like it. The rooms are nice, modern and clean. Only disappointment is that for the first room, we had a smart TV connected to the internet, with access to Netflix, streaming, etc. For the second room, it was the same TV but it wouldn't connect to internet. When I called the reception, I was told that most of the smart TVs don't connect to Internet and thus the smart features are useless. 24/7 room service is nice. I actually prefer staying here vs. most hotels in Tijuana. When they say check in before 7, they mean it. I arrived in the evening thinking my room would be available, and it wasn't.

This review is in no way indicative of how I feel about the motel because I've never stayed there. I couldn't get to it because as I was walking over the border from San Diego and as soon mex officials started demanding. I wasn't prepared for that so I turned around and went home..

I arrived early because I wanted to make sure to check in at 2:00 p.m. but I still had to wait until after 2:00 p.m. for the room to be ready. The jacuzzi only works when you call the front desk and the food was mediocre.
