Hotel was very beautiful just very disrespectful staff I live in California and my sister had surgery and when we got there, staff was very rude made us pay an extra additional money and didn’t get the refund when we gave them the paper.

Excellent location near everything. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet (paid) was outstanding. There is a party venue nearby, so might be some music noise late at night.

Amazing place to stay

The room is affordable and great amenities for the price. The room is clean and modern looking. Good location and close to Tacos el Franc. The hotel front desks were so nice and helpful. They can speak English too! They have a jacuzzi you can use for free.

I always stay at Hotel del Rio everytime I go to Tijuana i try other Hotels and Hotel del Rio is the best in service clean secure

The hotel is located in a quiet area. Parking structure is gated and secured. They have someone checking cars in and out. So that gives you peace of mind. The hotel is beautiful as soon as you step in. Clean, stylish and very modern. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, you are welcomed with your name on the TV screen. I will say you can hear your neighbors opening and closing the door. Other than that it's a really nice hotel to stay at. I will be staying there again on my next trip.

Last minute booking and we we were taken in by the staff late at night. The check in was hassle free and the rooms were nice and clean

On a positive note, the shower was nice and the water felt much softer and good pressure compared to other nearby hotels. However, this establishment doesn't seem geared toward English-speaking American guests, as everything-from signage to TV channels—was only in Spanish. The buffet, though, was good. Lucerna and the K Tower are very nice and geared towards English-speaking individuals

Very nice and clean! Didn’t have to ask to have have it cleaned they automatically came and cleaned and brought clean towels. Didn’t have to time for the amenities my husband and I came for a Funeral. We did eat at Restaurant and the food was great. Thank You!

Safe, clean, and walkable. We feel safe staying here on our trips to TJ. It’s close to the border and is a one way shot both ways. The parking has 24hr security and the breakfast is worth the money.

Close to where we had to goz but th construction and the smell was unbelievable. I almost threw up being outside. The sheets and everything you touch, buy, eat smells like sewage and very very bad air quality. When I Came back to LA, I couldn't stop going outside and just breathe normally. No I e talks about the quality of air and the smell in TJ. It's just WOW!

Un disgusto que no me dejaron hacer late check Out, nomás me dieron 30 minutos diciendo que estaban muy ocupados, pero tenían muchos habitaciones disponibles en el primer piso donde estaba yo. Igual las escaleras en el lobby estuvieron resbalosas y me caí bajando las escaleras al salir de el hotel nadie vino a tenderme y ver si estaba bien y no reposté se hizo del incidente . Estuve adolorida de mi glúteo una semana después de la caída . El buffet de desayuno tenía ensalada verde que ya tenía muchos días y había moscas . La habitación limpia acogedora

Nicely remodeled hotel. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Conveniently located, however the area is noisy and congested during day time due to construction of a hospital building next door. The only observation will be extending the jacuzzi hours after 9 pm for guests to have more time to enjoy the beautiful area.

Very nice hotel clean, modern furniture and decor, good access to the building. Only thing to complain may be the Jacuzzi they're normal size but one wasn't in good working condition. But other than that everything was good. Definitely I will come back!!

On the other hand the staff were rude, every question we had they looked at me like I was crazy, made me feel dumb. They don’t have hot water or ice after 8pm. I had inquired about late check in and I payed a lot of money for a specific room. They ended up giving me a room on the main floor, only a couple door down the lobby, it was nothing that I asked for. They wouldn’t give me a refund either. I got the most basic room and that’s not what I PAYED for. In the mornings it was super loud due to construction being done outside and we were put couple doors down the lobby. I’ve stayed at better hotels, better pricing, and a better room. Totally regret giving them my money. The pictures online are cat fished nothing looks like the pictures which I think is a scam. Never again.

They have a cancellation fee, and refuse to change your stay to another day. They blame expedia. They want a credit card for your stay. The lobby is an obstacle field with all the furniture they have. It’s not inviting at all. They need to get rid of half of it.

Check in was easy, the lobby and rooms are remodeled and nicely designed. I enjoyed our quick stay here. Parking attendant was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely return on our next trip.

Great modern hotel with secure parking walking distance to entertainment, food, and bars. Staff were friendly and everything was clean and modern. So happy we spent a little extra to stay here. Definitely recommend!

The hot tubs were not warm

Easy check in. Secured and covered parking. Clean room. This was my fourth visit. No cigarette smell this time. No microwave, coffee maker, nor refrigerator in the room. I didn’t try the breakfast, but I was able to view the gym and the machines and gymnasium were nice and clean. Lobby is clean and great for eating outside of your room while still being inside. Nighttime staff are my favorite, always helpful to give me an extra towel and an extra blanket. Convenient location, close to stores, restaurants, and medical offices.

The hotel had a good location. It was clean. But the room didn't have a view at all. We couldn't open the curtains because the window was to the hall way where everyone walked. The restaurant employees were great starting with their manager Javier. But terrible customer service from the front desk at the hotel. They like to charge for everything and nothing. I booked with hotel.com. The room was good for 3 people. But they charged me 40.00 extra for the third person. I was going to stay only one day and decided to stay a second night. They charged extra $8.00 for checking out and checking in at the same room. It was like they were punishing me to stay the second night. I paid for breakfast in advance but they didn't want us to use it for the second day. They wanted us to use it in the third day. I explained to them that I wasn't going to stay all night. I was planning to leave early. But it was so hard for them to be polite empathize and have some courtesy. They don't care about their customers. It is almost like they don't want their customers to go back to the same hotel. That's the way I understood. It is very unfortunate because I was planning to go back. All of these people that work at the front desk need a class of how to conduct themselves in front of a customer. On my line of work I have to talk to customers all day long and if I would treat a customer the way they treated me I would loose my job in a second.

The staff is very friendly, but the room has a bad smell, the bathroom is connected to the toilet, the shower is good, but the toilet is in an awkward and narrow position, and you can't close the door once you use the toilet! The food in the restaurant is good, the price is reasonable, and the service staff is very warm and friendly!

Amazing hotel in Tijuana. Everything is new and modern. The hotel staff was friendly and check in and check out was quick. It was quiet and safe. The room was very clean and check out is at 12pm which is great for when you like to sleep in. I would 100% recommend. Gym was awesome too!
