stayed there a number of times in the past. Like the area and can walk right down to Revolution Ave. Not too far from Debtist office but cheap and easy uber from the Dr's office and the border crossing beds getting a little soft and rooms could use a small fridge

I got sent to the third floor, no elevator, (stairs are a bitch to go up and down for ice or anything from the lobby)not to mention my elder mother was with me she had a hard time going up and down stairs.(mind you i had pay for a room downstairs wich where more pricie)I had to carry my own luggage with no help from the front desk. The front desk personnel was not trained properly to help out the guests( our rooms hairdryer caught on fire, I went downstairs to reported, and they didn't even care.

I dried with towels and they got soaked. Lady at reception decided that I ruined the towels and refused to give me my deposit

Since newer hotel vs older hotel/motel Restaurant all around They have temperature check Guest 50/50 friendly Security on site police around block away Guest all need to sign no sneeking any side chick on site. 2 towels for two night well I can understand the next day they give you fresh, but if you want an extra 5.50 per towel, don't go stealing the towels They dont give out paper receipt if you're leaving Construction was going on. I can understand But it could not show me room size or what was available, so if best, not Queen vs. King size is best or 2 double beds, because if your couple room can be small, not to walk over each other. The shower was ok, big fancy, but if you're not used to a model like this, instructions would be nice, but the pressure was low. Mini split vs fan ok don't go having fun in the room because the fan is 4 feet away from bed.I think there is no reason if you have a mini split. Handicap didn't see this coming for people in wheel chairs I will let my opinion hold back. You decide knowing rules are different in Mexico/baja california

Easy access to the place, plenty of tv channels. It is old building with light remodeling, with bad maintenance, personnel refuse to help, always to defensive. WiFi never works, phone never works, hair dryer did not work (they replaced it after a deep inspection, because they did not believe me). The shower does not have an extractor system. There is only a dark curtain, you can not keep the courtan open, since the window is next to the aisle. Therefore the room is dark all the time.

How quick and easy it was to book. I especially liked that they accommodated us even though we got there a bit earlier than our check in time.

N/a To begin with, the receptionist was unfriendly and made me wait an hour because she said my room wasn't ready. I don't know why she did that since I had booked a week in advance, and they still didn't have my room ready. Also, I left my car in the hotel parking lot, and the next day it was covered in foam. I asked the security guard what had happened and why my car was dirty, and he said they were going to clean it, but they didn't. I was very upset about that. It was a very bad experience.

I did like the place its very clean and safe.

Good location and safe parking. There is a guardsman looking at guest cars, so I can park my car safely. The location is also super nice. Walkable to the nice restaurants and bars. Little noisy in the morning by traffic.

Yes. The hotel is clean, nice size rooms, fairly new, secured parking, easy check in and out. The place is surrounded by cafes and new restaurants. Great place.

When in TJ, I’ve always stayed here. Very nice and has been renovated and looks awesome.

I reserved a room and when I arrived they said the room was not available and the one that I wanted was going to be more expensive. I’ve never had this happen before and I’ve been renting places in TJ for 8 years now. Also, they make you go off the property to smoke, they have a giant open courtyard but you’re still forced to exit the property for your light up. They have memory foam pillows and mattresses as their only saving grace.

Very close to dowtown. Property is under construction. And it noisy at times.. however staff very helpful and friendly as well. Fast check in and room very clean

The place is very clean, everything is brand new, and very confortable. The only but to my stay was that there's no elevator. We had several heavy bags and it was a grueling task to take them 3 flights of stairs. Secured parking and close to downtown.

Hotel is under construction, blue tape all over room, finishing last touches on the floor and floor boards. I couldn’t sleep even with tv on I could heard the bass of electronic music playing some place closed which stopped at 3:30 am then by 8:30 drills and electric saw noise. Parking secure a plus, seem like a safe area with plenty of restaurants a walking distance.

The annoying part was daily card key check in and no elevator so not handicap friendly.

The new deluxe updated rooms are well worth the extra fee. I always stay here for weekend trips or for medical appointments. Very centrally located and walking distance from many dining options and it has its own parking area with constant security. The only thing I don't like is that construction around the area starts early morning during the week which creates alot of noise

Excellent service and very well kept gardening and parking area. Stayed on a Friday night so bar around area had loud music, besides that everything was perfect

When I checked in I was told that I had to leave a $200 cash deposit or give them my driver's license! Wait, what? That condition wasn't shared when I made the reservation. And on top of that, when I went to take a shower around 9:00 p.m., the water never got warm. I was too tired to try to get the staff to fix it. But how could they not know? Doubt I'd stay again.

Rooms not as good as advertised on pictures

The room I was placed in was next door to another room being remodeled. At 7am the construction crew began making the biggest racket. By 8am they were hammering the adjoining wall so loud I was forced to check out early. No consideration was given for guests trying to get a good night's sleep. Worse experience I've ever had staying at a hotel.

First time staying at location. In trendy area of TJ. Half block from Gastro Telefonica. Overall convenient and good for the price.

Staff is marvelous! Cacho neighborhood is the greatest. Away from the noise. And great eateries within walking distance.

Second time staying here. Front desk lady rude and impolite. Wifi didn't work. Told to wait 30 minutes. Still didn't work. Room was so cold that I had to sleep with a winter jacket. Buyer beware.

For the money it’s a great spot to stay in one of Tijuana’s best eating and drink areas, La Cacho. I’ll stay here again for sure.

This location is near dining attractions and casual spots. There is a bit of construction going on within the property. I'm assuming for future improvements. No real common areas. Very modern motel vibe.

Carpet needs to be cleaned or removed for good

Bars,restaurants etc.. Only bad thing we found a couple roaches and the shower curtain was nasty. We have stayed here before and it's a been a great stay unfortunately not this time. Don't rent the bottom rooms.the ones above and across are the nicer rooms.

The "SUPERIOR ROOM" I paid for was dirty bath and very dirty carpet and compared with regular single room I paid for in previous visits, the "superior" is worst comparing quality (floor-carpet, wall paint, furniture, ->BATH <- , and I repeat BATH. The superior room is like and older or like a cheaper room you paid for.

The beds and pillows were awesome.good hot water pressure. The area is really good.they have dining options walking distance.cool little bars and coffee shops also nearby. Safe parking and well lit. I would stay on right side building which is all remodeled. Overall stay was good.we would return and highly recommended for a short affordable stay.

The property is going through a renovation and there is construction material behind yellow tape. Internet does not work and notified the reception desk but they weren't very helpful. We are required to provide a $5 USD deposit for TV controls that do not work. Lastly, the bed is a bit stiff but what do I expect for the price while the facility is going through renovation. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. It's not a bad location its just need to upgrade a few things and ensure wifi reliability.

Está a poca distancia de muchos restaurantes. Pague un poco más y obtenga la mejor habitación. No hay ascensor y algunas habitaciones están en el 3er piso. El estacionamiento está justo afuera de su habitación.

Door deadbolt not working. Can hear everything outside like it was in the room even walking by.

Room carpet was gross, full of stains and bumps. I had to wear my flip flops at all times. Room was dark and dingy. I was charged a $5 deposit for my key and remote control. They did not refund the $5 as needed. Location is great, plenty of good restaurants and parking was perfect.

I stayed there Jan 21st for 1 night. I was asked for my credit card but there were no charges used on my card, 8 days later, someone used it to purchase something online for 436.00. I only use this card for Travel.

I love the location, nearby many great restaurants, and 15 minute walk to downtown. The other guests were kind of noisy this time, unlike other times I've stayed there.

You indeed get what you pay for. Seems the property got an exterior remodel and it looked like some rooms were getting work done. The property was nice. My room was basic. Nothing special. The decor was outdated. It is in dire need for a remodel. No air or heating in my room. I did see the at check in they had cameras everywhere which is great.

Great location. Fantastic restaurant just across the street. Free parking at the hotel that's easy to get in & out of. Very clean. My door lock was broken but I felt so safe I didn't bother to ask for a different room. I just brought it to their attention so it would be fixed for the next person.

No air conditioner. Expected air conditioner. It's was over 100 degrees. :(

Its a bit away from downtown but nicely located on a quiet street. It gives you a resort kind of feeling. Still very close to good restaurants. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Already looks very modern n appealing . The rooms are clean. The sheets, towels. I hope they will keep it up because there where I plan on staying for my next visits.

The location and the bed are the best I've had in Tijuana.

But the room was clean, tv good, mattress quite comfy, and security seems good. The street was sketchy and didn't seem to be the safest location but I was fine walking around in the daylight hours. I stayed two nights and was disappointed they didnt make up the room with fresh towels and more bottled water, but honestly, for this price point, I thought this place was a pretty good value. And no bedbugs. I check first thing everytime!

The hotel is in a great location. It was being renovated while i was there so lots of noise during the day & plenty of dust. The bed was extremely comfortable. It's my new favorite place to stay while in Tijuana.

If you decide to book here make sure to do it the night before. If you do it Same day they will not have your reservation. I have stayed here at least 8 times and every time I book same day I have issues. They are also do renovations so expect to be up at 8 am.

I usually always enjoy my stat at this hotel, as it's close to many good restaurants and services, but their WI-FI needs to improve.

The room was extremely clean and smelled clean. The water pressure was great!! The AC worked and I felt safe as well. The only two things that did not well was the shower door did not stay closed and TV did not work.

Had a good stay and everything was satisfactory. I only have one comment about their cable box that sometimes wouldn't come on and the the TV volume that kept going up and down depending on the channel. They probably need to look into the TV menu under volume setting to correct this. Overall, for the price, this hotel was quite okay.

Drop off from floor to bathroom and sink area and abrupt 4 inch rise to trip or stub your foot on. Rusted shower head sprayed water against far wall of shower. Low volume on tv. Welcome drink advertised was the water bottle in room per front desk. Thin walls and could hear loud music and people walking by late at night on balcony. Other than that it was a cheap night to rest and leave early the next day.

Cons: tiny room. lighting in the room is dim. My showerhead was broken and had zero pressure. Overall, loved it. I'll be back!

I reserved at 7:30pm. I arrived at 10:30pm. The staff couldnot find my reservation in their system. I showed them my expedia email but it didnot help. As a courtesy so they allowed me in the room for the night. But around 2am my room phone rung. I guessed it was the hotel staff so I didnot answer, thinking I will take care the issue in the morning. Morning came, I checked out & asked if everything was ok. They said I need to pay for the room bcz they havenot received the expedia email for my reservation. I asked them to write down the itinerary # from my email & work with expedia. Finally they agree & let me go on my way ! I wasnot upset but I think they need to improve the computer system/software internally
