Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are recurring complaints about noise, small rooms, and issues with reservations and check-in/check-out policies.
- Great location in the heart of the tourist district
- Clean and well-maintained rooms
- Noise from outside and inside the hotel
- Small rooms and lack of elevator access

- 3/5
Great staff but the bed made a lot of noises and the mattress was ripped.
- 2/5
Unfortunately, the hotel was not clean and had a bad odor. The carpets appeared old, and the rooms were outdated. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not return.
- 5/5
Great condition of room clean and impeccable condition

Todo bien

Muy limpio y el servicio amigable

Room was perfect! Quiet room 3rd floor looking out at Av. Revolución which 3 blocks are now permanently a promenade. Beds are comfortable and towels provided were very comfortable to dry yourself. I’ve traveled throughout Mexico and have experienced sand paper type towels. Only stayed one night and two complimentary purified water were provided.

However, there was an issue with payment: even though I prepaid through Expedia, the hotel said there was no record of it and required me to pay again upon arrival. I’ve been in contact with Expedia for almost a week now, and they’re still trying to resolve it because the hotel hasn’t responded. It’s unfortunate, because otherwise the experience would have been perfect. If the hotel resolves this double-charge issue, I’d definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Did not see parking, but catching uber was convenient. Room was a little noisy from outside noise until late night. Construction noise started early in morning. Luckily I wasn’t sleeping in. Good for price for a couple of days. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Stayed here a few times and it’s always clean and in order. People are professional and service is certainly above the normal. Will stay again. It helps when the Home for the original Cesar Salad is next door!!!

This Hotel is on the main strip were they're making it more tourist
- 5/5
Loved my stay here! Its such a cute, clean boutique hotel with an amazing staff. The room was nice and clean. The only thing thats missing is an elevator but i do understand that this hotel was built in 1931. Its only 3 stories so its ok. But i do believe an elderly person would have an issue going up and down the stairs.
- 5/5
Location is great room was clean and just right size. Miguel was great he did awesome service. Will come back again
- 4/5

- 4/5
Stayed here one night. Parking was a bit of a hassle. My bf had to argue with parking attendant in Spanish to park there. Room was nice for the price. Some renovation going on in the hotel. Nice lobby with free coffee. Restaurant is known for its Caesar salad which they make at your table. On the busy and touristy Calle Revolución. Room was quiet but had no view. Reasonable rates.
- 5/5
place was convenient to nearby attractions.
- 5/5
Close to everything
- 4/5
Only noisy this time due to the construction on Revolución.

Good location and nice people, but my bathroom had a horrible stench and I had to move. They don’t air conditioning the hallways, which is very unpleasant and the rooms and hallways are very musty.

Nice place to stay
- 5/5
In case you didn’t know: attached restaurant is where the Caesar salad was invented in the 1920s. Both hotel and restaurant very good value for money (almost cheap). I was cautious about safety, but felt very safe at all times in and around the hotel.
- 4/5
Good hospitality
- 5/5
Able to check in early to drop off luggage. Room was a walk and hotel upgrading carpets in hallways.
- 5/5
Will recommend to friends

Its a nice hotel, simple. Good price. Clean. Music from the bars , like 5 at once blare until 3am. Not the hotel fault but customers need to be ready for it
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Area is a little sketchy if you walk the wrong way but also a center for nightlife.
- 5/5
Lots of local people enjoying dining and walking around. Families with children too because there is a carrousel. And of course the fine restaurant in Caesar’s Hotel you can’t miss the experience of having a Caesar’s Salad.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Great location for a Friday night in TJ
- 5/5
Everything is great as always. I like that the valet parks for you. Since it’s such a congested area, the staff is always great. They even sell locally made wine in the lobby now. And the best restaurant in town is right downstairs and many more within two blocks.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 3/5
Overall ok but not great or amazing.
- 5/5
Location is great
- 1/5
Stay was far from ideal , be wary of work being done at the hotel - not notified by either the booking site or hotel front desk - if you plan a stay , verify first of work is being done or try and get a room on the top floor away from the noise
- 5/5
Great hotel and restaurant. Home/birthplace of the Caesar Salad!!
- 5/5
Great value for the price
- 5/5
Good value and comfort!
- 5/5
Great clean place parking bit inconvenient

This is my 2nd time staying at the Hotel Ceasar's. Both times have been pleasant stays. The staff is kind and welcoming, the rooms are extremely clean, and the hotel offers parking, which is a great advantage. Great stay.
- 1/5
The hotel itself was clean and staff was friendly. I made a reservation for a single king bed and when we arrived they didn’t have the room we reserved available. I had to pay more for a king suite
- 5/5
Beautiful place to have drinks and dinner with family and friends
- 1/5
No help
