Better lighting

excellent place

The hotel is not in the nicest area per say, but I just need to rest cause I had an early flight to catch. The hotel is next to a major traffic area and you hear all the noise through all the night so at least for me, it kept waking me up.

Clean comfortable bed. A lot of truckers and big rigs drive throughout the night, making this place very noisy. The showers only have half a door, so when you shower you make a mess on the floor.

Friendly housekeepers, attentive wait staff during breakfast Pictures need to be updated, hotel furniture is outdated, also someone try to break into my vehicle during my stay and hotel didn't want to take responsibility for the damage of my car window, most likely I will never be back to this facility and will not recommend it to anyone.

Staff was very friendly! Our room was next to street which had honking horns thru early morning around 5 am . And our window was slightly cracked open . It wouldn’t close . If the windows get replaced to muffle the outdoor noice this is a 10/10 .

Staff are very friendly and the security guard looks after your vehicle in the parking lot. Rooms are clean nice bed and hot water. Also free breakfast.

The pillows, too hard for me but everything else was good

Everything was ok with our stay just the pillows were to hard and uncomfortable but overall it was a good stay liked the place clean and safe

Very close to Greyhound-Plaza el Mexicano-San Diego, comfortable bed, good shower water pressure Worn-out bath towels, the room smelled strongly of paint, the shower drain would pool within a few minutes, the shower design plus high water pressure would make the bathroom floor outside the shower get very wet, the windows didn't have a mosquito netting, there were several cockroaches in the room and bathroom (likely from the uncovered drain in the bathroom), there was a lot of noise from traffic and other guests.

I am not happy with this stay hotel was dirty and not clean bed was not comfortable

Nice and comfortable and affordable with breakfast.

Renewed and nice. I did not find a hair dryer in the bathroom. Location is not my favorite. It is not too much to do around the hotel at night time.

Pretty good for the budget traveler. Clean linens and decent toiletries in the room. Good location next to the highway and plenty of decent food to be found in the area. The breakfast buffet is a great benefit. A bit of a spell in the room that seems to come from the bathroom. Noisy neighbors and cars racing by can be easily heard in your room.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We love the breakfast, the salsas for the chilaquiles 10/100. The fact that doesn’t look like a hotel from the outside, and that the parking is limited and not covered, but there is always a security person there.

Everything was ok ! Especially the breakfast.

I’ve driven by this motel a million times considering where it’s located it’s actually nice inside the outside is a lil rough but the inside makes up for it. They are strict about not smoking but you can understand why they don’t allow smoking.

Enfrente de avenidas, puentes, cruzes con mucho ruido todo el dia.

Too much money for the area. A lot of sketchy people. Security it is only for the truckers. Didn’t have its own parking. It’s shared parking with the truckers. Morning staff is very rude. Only good thing was the breakfast, the breakfast crew and the night crew. No security for the hotel for the area didn’t feel safe unless inside the hotel. Better options for the money, we only stayed here to go the Mexican consulate for visa work.

I didn't expect my stay to be anything different to other places But despite the fact I had my self and my situation in a horrible state I was feeling much better and calm after only being there a few hours to be honest I didn't want to leave thank you Hotel Astor from the bottom of my heart.

Overall stay was ok, the room was clean and had what we needed, the staff was friendly and there was security at the door and parking, felt safe , only thing is eventhough the bed was comfy were unable to get much sleep as the walls seem thin and can hear everything in the room next door, they should have a quiet time policy and enforce it past 10pm

This hotel is located next to a freeway, and unfortunately I was given a front room, which meant that the noise was terrible. I don't know if the rooms in the back are any better, but I would request a back room. Otherwise the hotel is fine for a night or two. Although the staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean, there's nothing special about this place.

First of all the pictures on the website hotel.com don’t match with the reality, to Dark and insecure area difficult to get to the hotels NO signs indicating name of the hotel. Hotels.com should not make business with companies with no redound policies! Place your costumers in bad situation. Hotel with roches

The parking area is a little sketchy they do have a security guard that is there a 24 seven in Cambria little loud though just because there’s a highway right next to it

Staff and guard were friendly. Motel feel all around starting from spouse and I both having to provide I.D’s so they can make photocopies. The mattress was hard as a rock. The place was extremely noisy due to the company behind it having motors and trucks running at all times.

The hotel itself is clean and staff is really friendly the free breakfast is also descent the only problem is that is on a busy street where you feel like u sleeping outside because it’s so loud

Todo esta precario desde los estacionamientos , mala limpieza, no dan cobijas para el frio, la señora de la limpieza gritando aun teniendo radio, hay cucarachas, no se ve la tele, defignitivamente no lo recomiendo.

Management is terrible i wont stay there again, they are sketchy and trying to take advantage of American tourists

The outside made me a bit skeptical but the hotel was very clean and up to date. The rooms were very spacious and beds comfortable. They provide breakfast which has a good selection.

Only one way into the parking lot. If you miss it then you have to go all the way back around the block, with traffic that’s about a half hour. The motel is only on the second floor. First floor is full of run down vacant store fronts. 70% of which are empty. There’s no where to get food. The Mariscos restaurant was the worst I’ve ever had in Mexico. I killed three roaches in the bathroom. The only good thing about this place was the coffee shop at the end of the building.

The price I paid was outrageous for what I got. Maybe the price was raised because of the Rosarito Festival, but regardless I felt very ripped off to be completely honest. For just $50 USD, it would have been reasonable, but with taxes I paid just over $170.00 USD for 1 night! The lobby is on the ground level. The "First Floor" is actually up a full flight of stairs to the 2nd level - the Hotel rooms are above small businesses located below on the ground level. I didnt see an elevator either, so if you are handicapped or traveling with lots of heavy luggage or infants in strollers, be aware that you will be going up a lot of stairs.

Last minute booking for a Saturday night. Was clean but could have used more towels/ wash clothes for the room. Lighting in the room was pretty bad with circulation. The bed was okay the pillows were not comfortable at all

My last trip was okay at this hotel but on my last day to check out the receptionist don't let me go until they check the room like if we did something wrong. form me was uncomfortable so i hope next time at least they be careful on those situations!

Room? Why do they even allow smoking in the hall or other rooms. I could smell it every few hours. How annoying is that? Some people are allergic or asthmatic. Jeez. Tv? A joke. It would have been much better if it had some real channels. And CLEAR PICTURE ...

Great price, includes breakfast,decent meals, they keep it clean , secury takes care of cars ,close to main avenidas for easy access to get around

The front desk person working the afternoon and night was very kind and helpful she helped us to get Uber and all the information we needed.
