Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness of the staff, but there are recurring complaints about the quality of the breakfast and issues with the pool and hot tub.
- Clean rooms
- Helpful staff
- Poor breakfast quality
- Issues with pool and hot tub
- 4/5
Very friendly staff and the indoor pool was very nice along with the breakfast options. The only downside was the awful musty smell in our room. It was overpowering and really was hard to ignore.
- 2/5
I was upgraded to a king suite which was a nice surprise. Initially I gave all high marks upon checking-in as the room was clean and staff was courteous and professional. It wasn’t until the morning that things changed. When I flipped on the light in the bathroom, probably 6 to 8 roaches scattered from under my toiletrie bag and I saw one in the tub. Unfortunately, I saw one run across the bed and when I emptied my bag out, there were 2 baby roaches inside. When I checked out a couple of hours later, I informed the desk clerk who was very apologetic. If it wasn’t for the roaches, I would have kept the 5 star rating.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
It was in a very convenient location, right off the highway. It was a short drive in to Galveston. The room was very clean and well kept.
- 4/5
Room was smaller than other hotels in the area. One of the sheer curtains was torn. The lower luggage table upon entering the room should probably be removed because there's not much space between it and the corner of the wall. Breakfast options were waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, prepackaged Hostess crumbcakes, and coffee. The hotel was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable, and towels were soft.
- 5/5
I will definitely book again. Clean rooms and prompt response and not forgetting beautiful and healthy breakfast
- 2/5
The bathroom was very rundown. Texture coming off walls, rusty bathtub, goop hanging down from rim of sink. Below average breakfast options. Pillows were terrible!
- 1.5/5
the owner gave me a 10 minute lecture on vaping in the room the keys constantly need to be reset and they had the nerve to keep saying it was because we had put it next to the phone
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, kind and so helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. Definitely will be staying again in the near future.
- 0.5/5
The room smell so bad me and my sister had to go to the store to buy some cleaning stuff to make the room smell a little bit better went to bed woke up the next morning. My sister decided to open up the blinds to look outside and stepped on a dead rat the worst experience staying in a hotel I ever had
- 5/5
Beautiful breakfast
- 3/5
The room wasn’t the cleanest but the beds ok. The elevators work and the pool water was room temperature.
- 4/5
It was clean and the breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Nothing really thought everything was excellent
- 5/5
was all good none
- 5/5
Clean, easy to get to. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Big room, big bathroom, large mini-fridge w/sep freezer, indoor pool, decent breakfast, on-site security, fast internet, great location with oodles of restaurants within a 5 minute drive.
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Free self parking.
- 2/5
But our room had a terrible smell, and we could not get rid of it, and there were no changing rooms cause there weren’t any others available. So it stunk all night, not sure why.
- 5/5
I'm a fan of the carpeted rooms. Much nicer feel than wood floors.
- 5/5
I havent used the indoor pool yet, but it looks excellently kept up.
- 5/5
Front desk service was exceptional! Room was spacious and spotless! Breakfast was very good. Overall, a great experience!
- 5/5
Employees were very friendly and helpful, checking in and checking out. No complaints
- 0.5/5

We stayed the night before our cruise and it was perfect! Room was clean, staff was helpful & friendly too!! There are a lot of places to dine around the area as well! The Breakfast was great! We will definitely stay here for our next cruise!
- 5/5
It was clean and friendly staff but the time smell bad.
- 2.5/5

- 4/5
The breakfast could have been better.
- 4/5
Convenient , price,breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast good
- 4/5
Plenty of parking. Next to a great Chinese Buffet!! Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Parking was great. The hotel is in a quite and safe area. Breakfast was minimal and okay. The staff is friendly and rooms were clean. It was a nice cheap stay before a cruise.
- 2/5
The property location was the best thing about staying here. We just needed somewhere to stay for one night before going on a cruise. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the door to the bathroom didn’t fully shut all the way. The breakfast options were sparse and there are not enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone trying to get breakfast.
- 5/5
clean room.. staff accomodating.
- 5/5
They always greet with a smile set it up for a great stay Everything great other than maybe add more options on breakfast
- 5/5
N
- 4/5
Parking was secure.
- 5/5
Everything was just as we expected, and we didn’t use the shuttle. We had our own vehicle and we found everything we needed. The staff was very attentive and professional. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and anyone else come in contact with.
- 4/5
Good breakfast. Cordial staff.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Ok place to spend one night. Bathroom needed repair in wall by sink. Need more variety for breakfast. Receptionist was very nice and helpful
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was very nice
- 5/5
Clean room with late check in
- 5/5
Family trip, had a great time. Staff were amazing!! Breakfast was ok.
- 3.5/5
We look forward to getting into the Jacuzzi and it was closed off
- 5/5
We've stayed here 4 times now and never have a complaint. Will continue to stay here when i visit the area. Room is always great and at an awesome rate.
- 5/5
The staff always pleasant and courteous rooms always clean
- 0.5/5
Nothing. not even a single point 1.I booked the hotel using pay at hotel but i was charged way before my stay started 2. breakfast waste. 3. room smelly 4. not help 5. totally, ruined my stay
- 3/5
Breakfast is a joke. No protein here! Coffee is pitiful.
- 4/5
Room was okay. Staff and check in was good. Breakfast choices lacking.
- 3/5
The room was in great condition the only thing is that the elevator was broken and we had to carry suitcases on stairs. Very inconvenient. Because I had just St had knee surgery. Should of received a discount for the inconvenience.
- 2.5/5
Elevator was out of service Hide a bed /sofa bed was awful and worn out Bath tub had rust Hotel needs a facelift
- 1/5
Room
- 5/5
Nice staff, good price, clean room and super easy checkin with my reservation
- 4/5
The staff was friendly. Parking was easy.
- 3/5
Evening/overnight staff was super friendly. Morning staff not so much. Elevator was broken which definitely sucked carrying all our luggage up the stairs. Not a bad place for the price tho and would possibly stay again
- 2.5/5
Location Breakfast needed more then carbs, elevated was broken and we were in the 3 rd floor.
- 3/5
Breakfast was minimal and disappointing. Noisy from unit above. I would not recommend this location. Joe and Sandy
- 4/5
Slightly disappointed elevator was out of order, but rooms were clean. Staff was nice and very accommodating. Worked for what I needed.
- 4/5
The room was clean and for the price breakfast was OK. Just be aware that the elevator does not work and the receptionist said it has not worked for months. Someone did help us carry our luggage to the 2nd floor, but, if you have mobility issues I would suggest choosing another hotel.
- 5/5
Staff was good. Especially when they accommodated us with adding another day to our booking for coming down a day early to miss the weather conditions.
- 4/5
Great location,
- 5/5
Great!
- 2/5
Frog was very loud when off walls are paper thin
- 5/5
Very nice and hospitable staff, VERY nice and spacious pool. The accommodations were wonderful- great shower, comfy bed, nice sized television... I will say, you get a spacious room, but there are a lot of furniture components inside, so during the night there was some stubbing of the toe in the dark, but that's more "getting used to" the layout. As8de from that, an excellent stay and i hope to stay again.
- 5/5
The staff made accommodations for us due to my sister’s disability
- 3/5
Elevator was out
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean room
- 4/5
The elevator was down.
- 2.5/5
How close it was to our event. comfortable bed and pillows The elevator was out of order, so we had to carry luggage up to 2nd floor. The room has a horrible mildew smell, like the carpet had been wet or something. Lighting was not very bright.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
All very good.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Convenient location. Elevator was broken but we were allowed ground floor rooms.
- 5/5
Very nice clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. However, the toilet was very short. A comfort height toilet would be preferable to someone like me who is older and has trouble getting up and down.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and smelled good . The staff is great as always and they have a fabulous breakfast. Better than most hotels especially for the price
- 3/5
Their “breakfast” isn’t - needs work Room is clean and bed was comfortable
- 5/5
Room is clean.
- 5/5
Staff was woderful
- 5/5
Room clean & cold!
- 4/5
Every thing was good, except the elevator was out of order and we have to use stairs carry on our own suitcases.
- 3/5
The room and hotel itself. No working remote, no elevator, card scanner on side of building not working. Strange smell in room, holes in wall from removed items, missing smoke alarm (although I believe another one was installed elsewhere).
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable the elevator was not working so had to carry bags up and down the stairs
- 4/5
The property was in good condition and very clean. The only complaint was the breakfast was so limited. It didn't look like anyone cared if customers were satisfied.
- 4/5
Everything was good!
- 1/5
No elevator! Drapes unhinged or broken. Bad place
- 5/5
Great value and helpful, efficient staff
- 2/5
Sorry needed to cancelled but I couldn’t the elevator wasn’t working and muy husband can’t go on the stairs so we had to move to another Hotel. The lady at the check-in was very nice. And the hotel look good.
- 4/5
Elevator didn't work
- 3/5
The elevator was broken. It is an ok hotel; it was just one night. The pool was clear and nice.
- 5/5
Yes. Very clean
- 2/5
First, let me say, this is not a reflection of the front desk staff. The staff was friendly and helpful. And... That's as much positive that I can really say. We were notified when we arrived that we were on the second floor, and there is no working elevator. I have seen in other reviews where previous guests had this issue MONTHS ago. This appears to be either a recurring or continuing issue. There was a rusty fridge and freezer, about 4 or 5 feet tall, with an old microwave sitting on top of it, a very musty smell in the room, used toiletries on the counter, and a TV that kept rebooting...shutting off and restarting. I'm not a fan of this place and will spend more money and stay elsewhere next time. Do not recommend unless those things don't bother you.
- 4/5
I love this place great price and clean but the second time I’ve been there that the elevator wasn’t working
- 3/5
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only complaint - Elevator was broke and we were on 2nd floor. We had made reservations a month before but they had already filled all 1st floor rooms. We had to have a room so we used the stairs.
- 2/5
There was no coffee or food for breakfast. We were there at 7:30 am.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and nice people. Parking lot was well lit and I felt comfortable leaving my truck there. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to next year
- 5/5
Room was clean and fresh. Staff was very nice.
- 3/5
The room was good and the staff was great they was very nice and help us with our luggage and changed out microwave. My concern was that the elevator was broken and we had to walk up the stairs and we had back problems
- 1/5
The elevator was broken, and was told we were on the third floor. We were not notified ahead of our 8pm arrival! We booked thru Expedia. We opted to stay at a different hotel as our party of 4 is all over 65 years old.
- 4/5
Room needed thorough cleaning and had an odor. Not much variety to breakfast. I just ate a yogurt each morning.
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, great indoor pool, and felt it was an excellent value compared to several nearby hotels. Several guests were staying pre-cruise from Galveston. Would stay here again.
- 2/5
Rooms are not good
- 3/5
Hotel elevator was broken and we had to walk up to 3rd floor caring luggage. The room was smelly like too much moisture. The Bed was little soft. The Room was clean. Bath tub down-sprout needs to fix to adjust water direction. It stuck in shower direction only.
- 2/5
No
- 1/5
The minute we walked in all we could smell was weed. when the desk clerk finally walked up, he was high as a kite. after we finally got to our room, we didn't even want to put our bags down.Because they were roaches everywhere, and did not want them to get in our stuff. and burn marks in both blankets on both beds. Some even as big as a baseball. i'm still not sure to this day How this place is even allowed to operate
- 3/5
Wasn’t the cleanest place, but ok for one night. Elevator wasn’t working. Needed cleaning in the stairwell. Overall just fair. And woke up to very loud music outside in the parking lot.
- 3/5
Elevator was broken. Hotel is in desperate need of new paint, carpets, drapes etc. Walls are chipped, shower is stained. All 3 rooms we have smell. Uncomfortable pillows. Honestly wouldn’t stay here again
- 5/5
Large clean room, pool was very cold but we went in and had fun
- 1/5
Room stink covered by strong air freshener - bothered allergies. Elevator broken but not informed until late check in.
- 3/5
Parking as secure but a/c didn’t work very well/. Bathtub was rusty
- 3/5
The elevator was out of order. The room had an unclean odor. The bathrooms and bedding need some updating. However, the staff were very nice and helpful when needed and the breakfast was good. Check in was easy. An overnight stay is ok.
- 5/5
I believe this is my 4th stay here , im familiar with this place. Its clean and quite, something this old man appreciates. The only complaint today is the elevator is not working. I had car trouble today and did not get here in time to get on the first floor. Had to take the stairs. Im 72 and it was a little ruff climbing them. I really like this hotel. I cruise alot out of Galveston and its pretty handy for me.
- 5/5
Great place to stay the night before your cruise!
- 3/5
Bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked. Breakfast options were limited. However, it was quiet at night and the check-in hostess Sasha was very nice.
- 3/5
Room was clean. We stay here often it is very convenient to stay here before she set off for our cruise. This time the elevator was out
- 5/5
Nice breakfast area. Several restaurants close by to choose from—we chose Olive Garden.
- 2/5
We got two rooms. One was downstairs and one was upstairs. Luckily the one for my brother in a wheelchair was available for downstairs because the elevator was broke. When we got into our rooms it instantly smelled musty and like mold. Then checking the beds the covers were stained and we had some green bug crawling on the bed. Leaving the room I instantly felt like I could breathe better. I’m not one to review places but I had to this time!
- 3/5
The room was clean and fine. Good location for our cruise the next morning. Near Starbucks for coffee and Walmart for last minute items. But the AC unit put out a horrible moldy smell. Kept my head under the covers all night to be able to sleep. Otherwise it was clean and nice. Just a smell that was not great. Glad we only stayed one night.
- 5/5
Pool water was cold
- 5/5
Hotel and staff are great, unfortunately the elevator was out, but this was beyond their control. Very friendly staff.
- 2/5
The Asian buffet next door was better than expected and it’s only 2 miles away from Buc-ee’s. It would have been fine if the elevator worked or if we wouldn’t have been on the 3rd floor. Also the hot tub didn’t work and I really wanted to use it.
- 2/5
Room smelled really bad, hot pink lipstick smeared on bedding and walls of bathroom. Staff was great but would not stay here again. For over $100 expected at least a clean room. Not upset, just aware.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a basic room, but it had a refrigerator and a microwave, which is definitely a bonus, but the room had a terrible mildew smell to it. I sprayed a bunch of perfume and you could still smell the mildew. Also breakfast was very basic waffles and cereal.
- 2/5
Elecator not working, breakfast was not good, toom was not totally cleaned, it smelled musty.
- 1/5
This is not our first time at this hotel. Most of the staff is friendly. The morning and maintenance staff are nice. The night staff are really rude. We asked for pillows and were told we could not get any because someone else could need them. Then the morning of checkout as we were packing up, the cleaning staff unlocked and opened our door without knocking or anything, and with our do not disturb tag still on the door. It wasn't even time to check out yet. The cleaning staff did not apologize or anything, they just stood outside our room talking loud and waiting for us to leave the room. It was really disrespectful. The rooms are clean. But the rooms being clean don't matter if I don't have privacy and communication is lacking
- 5/5
We needed a room off the 45 Freeway close to a What a Burger that had good parking, quick breakfast and was clean. This property met all our expectations.
- 1/5
The first room we were assigned smelled so bad we had to move. The next room had to be spayed with air freshener. Please see pictures on how horrible this room was. Only positive was the front desk clerk was very sweet. Breakfast had literally no protein - no eggs, sausage, etc. The hook to hang your towel on was broke - literally hanging upside down.
- 3/5
It’ clean, but old and damaged, the elevator do not was working, the brekfast hours 6-9 am
- 2/5
Elevators not working, towels had hair stuck in them, closet smells like mildew, Staff was apologetic
- 5/5
This property was clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly.
- 5/5
Waffles were good but that’s all
- 3/5
I’ve stayed here many times and never had a problem . This time was a little different. The elevator was out and they had help getting our luggage to the third floor but the next day we had to take it down the stairs. I will stay there again this just wasn’t one of the better times.
- 1/5
Room smeeled stale and musty Hot tub non functional whole stay Worst stay in expedia history. Would never stay here again.
- 3/5
This hotel could use some updating. The elevator was out of service. The paint in the room was chipped. The bathroom tub was rusted and dirty. The employee smoking lounge seems to be outside the front doors. You have to walk through a cloud to get back in the lobby. I guess for the price it was adequate but there maybe better options in the area.
- 5/5
Everything was good except the house keepers came in the room while my daughter and I were asleep.
- 2/5
The hotel needs an update big time. Workers were nice but I should've cancelled when we seen the front door. It was an old pull open door. No sliding doors. Then the front desk had a bullet proof glass cage. And the attendant told us the elevator was broke so we would have to use the stairs. Luckily they had a room on 2nd floor. As for the room. Beds were comfortable and had no signs of bedbugs. But ac unit was loud and only stayed cool never cold and we had it on 66. There was tape on the smoke detector, decor was out dated. Bathroom tub had mold, water wasnt hot, toilet super low and had stains. I read the reviews and it decieved me.
- 1/5
Did not eat any food so no comment there. The rooms were very uncomfortable as the room smelled like mildew. I began having allergies in bed.
- 5/5
Clean room comfortable bed nice coffee and breakfast friendly staff. Room needs updating but all was very satisfactory.
- 3/5
Lots of things were out of order.
- 2/5
Estaba sucio el piso pegajoso y la noche salía en 130 dólares y me dio miedo probar el desayuno
- 3/5
We booked the property because we were going on a cruise. And so we decided to stay there because it was cheaper than staying in Galveston, but the property was smelly. It was hot in the whole way. The breakfast wasn't very good and I was just ready to leave.
- 2/5
The clerk at check in was very nice and helpful , unfortunately the Elevator was broken and we had to carry all our luggage up two flights of stairs.
- 5/5
It was a good hotel snd served its purpose, which was a place to lay down and sleep. Staff was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. I would stay at this hotel again if need be.
- 1/5
Room itself smelt like mildew, coffee machine in room was broken. Will not come back this location. Ever.
- 1/5
I wasn't in my room for a minute and seen roaches on the bed and in the bathroom. Also room was on 3rd floor and elevator was broke.
- 4/5
Clean room. Small leak in the toilet but quickly fixed once mentioned
- 3/5
First few rooms had a wet
- 2/5
This is a good stay for 1 night max only no other choice. It definitely out dated, the room had a humid smell to it. As we walked to the reception desk to check in there was a hard discussion going off a male customer going off. It while we felt for her, she handle the situation calmly. But right out of the bay place did not felt safe with this type of situations going on. For breakfast time, and white it states breakfast was included. There was no protein provided. The morning reception was very short don't bother me or ask to do nothing extra type of attitude. Over all we got sleep but if it come down to it and have to stay… well be looking for other options
- 2/5
Staff was good.
- 4/5
Clean room, conformable bed and quiet area. They had instant oatmeal at the continental breakfast but no water to make it. They did have the Texas shaped waffles. Not too bad for a continental breakfast. Good value.
- 3/5
Place was ok. Staff were not very nice at all!
- 2/5
I do not like the room smells bad and the staff did not helping to switch the room. I like the hotel can walk to a restaurant to eat right next to the parking lot. I would not return to this hotel for sure.
- 4/5
We’ve stayed at this hotel twice in the past 2 years. Both times the staff was great and the rooms were clean. However; the first time the AC drain had backed up and flooded the floor. The staff was quick to send someone with a wet vac to clean it up as best as they could. The second time it was humid in the room and the air freshener used was so strong that it was hard to breathe. Other than those issues this hotel is great. Easy on and off from I45.
- 5/5
A reveiw
- 4/5
Everything was great,
- 5/5
It was a last minute booking and we got a good rate. Even though rooms were a little sated, they were clean. The staff was very friendly and courteous and gave goof recommendations for places around the area. Would definitely stay here again. Felt safe traveling with my young kids.
- 5/5
Nice front service
- 5/5
We arrived late in the evening due to traffic delays. The staff were very friendly and we were checked in quickly. That was very much appreciated after an 11 hour trip
- 1/5
This property was terrible! It smelled and was dirty—we had to change rooms. The second room was no better. I took pictures and complained.
- 5/5
Checkin was fast and easy. She was very nice and informative.
- 4/5
Thought it had pool and hot tub not working and was told no intentions to fix it. Breakfast was very sparce not as described.
- 2/5
Found bed bugs in our room attendant was very professional and helpful she refunded our rooms
- 3/5
The hot tub was out of order and apparently they have no plans to fix it, replacing it with a little kids pool. They had a plug in that nearly choked me when I walked into the room and after we unplugged it we could then smell the marijuana. It was okay for the price, but I won't be taking kids there again.
- 5/5
Awesome customer service
- 5/5
This Quality Inn was kept very clean. Most everything was in good shape and when traveling with a child some things are just very important. Three issues to mention... 1st, the spa wasn't working. 2nd, The TV wasn't working correctly...it either wouldn't bring up channels that a child might like to watch, or it didn't turn on at all. 3rd, there was a musty odor when entering the room. Maybe from the bathroom? Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful when needed.
- 1/5
Deplorable conditions. The room smelled stale. The comforter felt moist. There was a woman smoking and drinking beer in the elevator and a cluster of people smoking within a few feet of the door. A carbon based life form at the front desk yelled at my 8 y/o daughter when she came around the corner before I did, causing her to burst into tears. The stay should be refunded.
- 3/5
The room smelled humid and i saw small roches in the bathroom.
- 3/5
Mildew in bathtub.
- 5/5
The lady at the front deck was very nice she excellent
- 3/5
Carpet in the room was sticky and dirty
- 5/5
Everything very clean!!
- 4/5
This was a good hotel stay while visiting family. No frills, but the hotel was clean and offered what we needed. The room was clean and had a microwave and a bigger frig with separate freezer, with several lights around the room. We were given extra towels when asked and the room was nice and cool. Noise from upstairs in the evening, but that happens at any hotel. Breakfast was offered but was minimal.
- 4/5
Everything was great the only reason for 4 stars was the free breakfast was lacking options if you like a hearty breakfast
- 3/5
Quuick over night stay for one is good and convenient. If you were with family, i would not recommend. Oh yeah, terrible coffee.
- 3/5
CONs- room needed repairs. Holes in ceiling and walls. Areas repaired, but unpainted. Musty smell lingered. ?? if would stay again.
- 1/5
There was literally bed bugs crawling in the bed! When we went to the front desk to say we would NOT be sleeping there -the girl at the front desk acted rude and put out. All I can say is, if u don’t mind bed bugs then I guess it’s fine.
- 3/5
The room smelled musty and the carpet was dirty and sticky.
- 3/5
Several rooms smelled like mold and musty like it does after water damage. Moved us to another room on a different floor and it was fine. Pool is small and was cold. Wouldn't book here again
- 2/5
Check in was smooth and staff was friendly and helpful. The room however smelled horribly of mildew. I went to the front desk and informed them of this. The lady at the desk was very cordial and helpful and assigned us a new room. It was exactly the same. Had to go and buy air fresheners just to make it through the night. Also the hot tub is out of commission. It had caution tape around it like it's a murder scene and the entire area is covered in a mossy substance. Also there is a constant scent of sewerage in the air outside as if the hotel is very near some type of sewage treatment facility. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to others.
- 3/5
Bed was very comfortable!
- 3/5
At booking they said they have breakfast, got there and desk person said they quit breakfast. That was one of the reasons booking there, if I would of know that I would of booked somewhere else
- 5/5
To be as expected
- 5/5
Came to Texas City Quality Inn because my husband and I were going on a cruise out of Galveston. This area was close enough tot he port and not as pricy as Galveston Island. Check in was a breeze and lady at front was nice.
- 5/5
There was some construction and no tv but it was quite and peaceful. They also gave us a discount for not having tv. Everyone was very nice and pleasant.
- 5/5
The room was musky but the lady took care of it.
- 2/5
Room was musty and humid, had a smell of mildew
- 3/5
It was nice but the room had a bad smell to it and the pool was indoors so the water was to cold to swim and the breakfast even though the waffle was good I was hoping for a little more

Our stay was very short. Mostly sleep, eat, and go. As I was getting on my cruise ship, I received a call stating that I had left my medication in the fridge. They were so nice and put it in their fridge and kept it for me until my cruise returned.

The beds were dirty, the room is damp everywhere, especially the carpet. It smells musty/moldy in the room but not the halls. The room was more humid than outside even with the AC running.

Good hotel overall, had zero problems

The spa was out of order and the indoor pool was freezing cold. I didn’t mind the stay but knowing info ahead would have definitely add me change my decision to stay there.

Room was molldy and tv would not power on. They could not figure out why. Move us to a smaller room and ac was so noisy we could not sleep.

We stayed over night only. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on an overnight stay in Galveston so we stayed here. The property looks older and in need of some updates.

Outside the property there was a sewer smell. Towards the front area it smelled like mildew. Check in process was easy. We received Room 312. The tub floor looked like it needed to be scrubbed. The comforter had a stain that looked like cookies and cream ice cream. We didn’t notice it until we were packing to leave. Made me think did they even wash it from the previous guest that used that room? The location was convenient. The breakfast did not have eggs or sausage. It was continental.

Friendly and nice management. Pretty clean and decent although there was a dank smell to the room that seemed to have dissipated after a few hours 😆

I'll be back.

Service was great. A/C in the room smelled a little weird but I think most do anyway. Location was great.
