Was a good hotel nothing special the ac didn’t work very well tv and amenities are definitely older internet was slow but was good for what it was just needs a update

The staff are the best, I just wished they had free breakfast. I have to stay there a lot to visit family and free breakfast would make me choose this property every time.

My room was wet from humidity. The blankets and carpet were damp.

The facility was clean and the staff was amazing. The location is right by Buccee’s, and only a 20 minute drive to the beach. Free laundry for guests was also great, just purchase a small bottle of detergent or bring some from home. It didn’t have a pool and to use a city pool in Texas City, we would have had to pay $50 since we are from out of town.

The fridge made a lot of noise and the room was slightly smaller than I thought it was.

I like the hospitible staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. They were extremely accommadating. The construction in the area can be difficult to get and from the hotel.

This was my first stay at this property. It was clean however, it felt like an upgraded motel vs a suite Hotel. The luggage carts had rust on them. Nothing about this property gives "Suites". They charge for toiletries that other Suite Hotels give out for free. The only complimentary item is coffee. The rooms smell musty. I actually requested a room change because of the musty odor. The manager said " this is humid Texas". When I changed rooms I forgot and left my ice pack slipper in the freezer .I called back twice and was told they didn't see it. The manager said he personally looked for it. I guess it grew legs and walked out the front door! I use that for my foot pain. (I have severe plantar fasciitis.) The water pressure is low for the shower. I will not stay here again. Also my keycard had to be rekeyed

We spent only one night there. It was a clean place. We could not walk anywhere though because it didn’t feel safe to walk near the expressway. We had to Uber to a restaurant even it was nearby.

The rooms were spacious. Usable kitchen. The staff was awesome and even though they allow pets, you could not tell that they allowed pets because there was no pet smell.

The staff was wonderful, room was clean and nice, the only complaint I have is the bed was not very comfortable but all in all it was a wonderful stay. I have been to much nicer hotels that weren’t as clean and friendly. Would stay again.

I liked the location It had a smell in the hallways, the rooms, the lobby area. Our room was not clean. I couldn't get comfortable because the hotel wasn't clean. If I knew this place was like this I wouldn't have picked this location. The price was great but I would have paid more somewhere else so me and my family wouldn't have had to deal with this place it had a dog smell. The staff was great. Very kind to us.

Room was very clean. Bed was super comfy. I knew check-in wasn’t until 3:00 but my Uber dropped me off from the airport before that. I knew I would be sitting in the lobby and had no problem with that but the manager had the front desk go on and check me as soon as they had a room available.

Major moisture humidity mold wet carpet problem throughout the hotel. Staff is great and it has been recently remodeled.

The room was clean and met our basic needs, which we appreciated. However, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls were quite thin—we could hear every step from the guest above us. Overall, it worked for what we needed.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The first room was very musty/damp smelling so they moved us to another room which was better. The bed was too soft and had no support.

The receptionist was friendly. When we first walked in our room it smelt a little musty. We did a good thorough check for bugs, and it was all clear. The room was decent and from the surface clean. We were only staying one night so we just needed a place to rest before getting on our cruise. Overall for the price we would stay there again.

Very much a 2 star hotel. Smelled of moth balls, zero breakfast, very basic.

I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. We got our first room and it smelled SO badly of mold that we requested to be moved. The sweet front desk lady brought us new keys and took us down the hall. She opened the door and asked if it smelled better. We agreed it did, an odd smell but not moldy, and she left. When we turned on the lights and went further in we realized it was a bug spray smell and there was a roach the size of a quarter laying in the floor. We quickly gathered our things and left. The staff was very cooperative and kind, issuing us a full refund, gratefully.

Did not know that it had a kitchen in it. Full size refrigerator,dishwasher 2 burner stove complete with pots and pans, silverware and dishes. Clean room and bathroom. Wish it had a pool or whirlpool. Then it would be perfect . One of the nicer places we've stayed.

The first thing when you walked in a powerful aroma of BO horrible. The room was filthy, sheets stained, it was bad enough we did not stay there, we paid for a room down the road.

This Hotel was a great hotel for our stay traveling to Texas! As this was a great one to be able to make food in the room and save from eating out all the time! Great and polite employees!

The property was well maintained and provided everything you needed for a feeling of being home. I liked the full sized fridge, stove, dishwasher and other amenities of the room. The location off of the service road was a little weird, and no awning to park under for check-in. The free laundry option for guests is awesome as well. The snack bar is also great for late night hunger without the need to leave the hotel.

We drove to Galveston for a cruise and stopped in Texas City the night before to rest. Booked 2 rooms for 8 people and had plenty of room. Full kitchenette was nice. Hotels in Galveston are pricey and traffic there is terrible so we opted to stay just 20 minutes away and it was great for the price!

The room was clean and above my expectations. It was a last minute booking because another place fell through. The lady at check in was sweet and explained everything in detail. I will be coming back.

We booked 3 rooms. One of the rooms had a musty smell. The explanation was that the area had a lot of humidity. They gave me air spray to help the smell. The other 2 rooms did not have the smell. :(

Rooms seem a bit outdated. This was our 2nd stay here and front desk girl is so friendly and even remembered us from the first time. I'm finicky when it comes to bathrooms and they do need some work, they are a little tight in space as well. Towels, let's talk about towels, they are so small and don't seem as clean or soft as they could be. I needed to change towels each time, because they are of poor quality. Bed/pillows are comfortable.

The hotel is in a very quiet location , but just a few minutes away from restaurants and a H-E-B and Kroger. The room came with a full kitchen including dishes, pots and pans, and dishwasher with plenty of everything you would need.

Very nice rooms, especially for a longer stay. Mini fridge, microwave, stove, limited dishware and cookware. Not many hotel amenities: fitness center, ice, laundry, public restrooms, but no pool, hot tub, or free breakfast. On the whole, very nice for the price.

This hotel has been under renovation since February, 2024. No furniture in the lobby, no gym access, no ice machines, and the exterior lighting was out when I arrived after dark.

It is newly renovated. Rooms are very nice and I would stay here again .

The room had a horrible dusty smell due to construction. Could barely sleep. The hostess was very nice and gave us another room but it wasn’t better. Otherwise was pretty comfortable and looked clean. They need to complete construction and address the smell before booking anymore rooms.

It's very convenient when cruising out of Galveston. This was our second stay before a cruise.

The hotel was under renovation so there was an awful sawdust-type smell. The staff was super friendly, rooms were clean. The value for the money was good. Washers and dryers were free. We stayed one night before going on a cruise. If this hotel was located in a safer cleaner area I would stay again but based on the surrounding area I won't stay here again.
