Location Roaches plus had to wait for over an hour to find someone to check in cause lobby phone was broken! I checked in late an had to wait over an hour and then security guard helped me! This was unacceptable and the first room I was checked into was infested with bugs visible to eyes the second room the A C wasn’t very cold I will never stay at extended stay again it’s horrible!

Nothing I checked in late night there was no one at the desk, they had a phone on the wall, saying if you press zero you would reach someone, but no one answered. I sat outside for 40 minutes with my children, and then on top of that the air condition in the room barely worked, and there was roaches dead in the tub.

The size of the room only The bed sheets were dirty and had hair on them the shower had hair in it the refrigerator and microwave was nasty the tv didn't get no channels on top of all that 5 minutes of walking into the room I found marijuana in the cabinet and cockroaches running around everywhere I woke up with a headache come to find out one of the cockroaches got in my ear I will never stay here again

I would never recommend anyone stay at this location… I checked in and checked back out in less then 30 min. I wish I could get my money back but I know that’ll probably never happen. My room was stink and dirty. The fridge had exterior rust and the bathroom shower had dirt, hair, and debris in the cracks where the caulking is. My shower head had a bad leak and the furniture inside was terrible. In all my experience was terrible

The lobby smelled of fresh cleaning products once you pass to the elevators it smelled of animals and other non-clean smells. The room had a smell also and run down appliances and walls.

I will never stay at this hotel again. Other than the front desk staff and housekeeper I can’t recommend anything. We arrived at 4:15pm and our room wasn’t ready. Our phone didn’t work and we had to figure out how to fix it ourselves. Our tv didn’t work and it took the front desk staff 20 minutes to get that working. The furniture was old, ripped and worn. There were stains in the walls. It’s an extended stay with a stove but no silverware, plates, pans. Not even a coffee maker. Our lights weren’t working so all we had was the bathroom light. The hotel smells terrible - like a mixture of dirt and mold. Such a disappointment. Have stayed at this brand before but never again!! Definitely do not recommend!!

The description lied about the equipped kitchens, you have to pay extra for pots, pans, and dishware which I have never experienced in an extended stay hotel before and the whole reason I booked this extended stay hotel.It gets worse from there. The carpets are stained and dirty throughout the place, the flooring in my room was filthy, the refrigerator seals were falling off the refrigerator, and all of the lobbies, common areas, and hallways smelled like weed - despite there being no smoking signs promising a fine if caught smoking placed everywhere.

When we arrived there was someone spray painting their car in the parking lot. Lots of trash on the ground. The hallway had stains all over the carpets & it reeked of weed & cigarette smoke. You could hear babies crying & dogs barking. The room was clean, but there were stains on the towels. Staff was friendly, but it was not a great experience. Would not recommend.

We were on the first floor, which smelled like someone was actively dying. The room above us had a family that was letting their kids run around the floor like crazy and you could hear every single step made by anyone. The roaches started coming out on the first night. They were tiny and everywhere. The staff was nice, but the room smelled since the hallway smelled. The blankets smelled like they were simply remade on the bed and not fresh at all. Definitely would not come back here.

Heat did not work. People above were super loud. Hallways smelled like smoke and mold. There were people yelling and fighting in the parking lot, then a guy pulled out a pistol. Liquor bottles in parking lot. A guy walked by recording my truck, immediately after I pulled in, I suspect he was "casing" it to rob it. Once he saw my wife in the truck he got spooked, hid his phone and rushed away. No service after 9 PM. Lists a gym, does not have a gym.

I waited up front for 20 mins. Rang the bell several times. Finally I called the front desk and the phone ringing made someone come to the front. I finally get in my room and immediately see 4 roaches. The microwave handle is broke and they super glued it back together.

Found a chicken bone and a roach in the hallway walking to my room. The front desk closes at 10PM which is fine but it then took 3 calls to get someone myself and others were waiting since 10:10. The extended stay service center tried 3 times to get the late night front desk person and was only able to get someone after the 3rd attempt

Everything was old and ripped up, so I did not end up staying. I end up leaving within the same minutes. I got there.

The elevator wasn’t working and we had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs with a toddler and luggage. We asked if there was another room on a lower available. They said no. Then there isn’t any ice machines available on the premises. They told us to use the ice trays they provided in the rooms . The rooms didn’t have tissue boxes or coffee makers or a blow dryer. They also didn’t have toiletries in the room nor did they have an iron or an iron board .the only good this is the stove top and the microwave.

Since I checked in at 9:30 PM and my cancellation period had expired at 6 pm, I packed up my things and headed up to my room. To my surprise, someone was already in there. My key worked fine. Very concerning they give keys to occupied rooms. Clearly safety is a big concern if you choose to stay here. I walked back down the stairs – had to call the “after hours Hotline“ to get assistance with a new key because the front desk was closed now. The front desk opened within 5 minutes and they gave me another room - still on the third floor - so I walked back up. I will never stay at another Extended Stay America and highly recommend not ever staying at this one.

When I first arrived to check in , I waited 20 mins before the front attendant returned. Once she greeted me she informed me the elevators weren’t working and the only available rooms were on the 4th floor. I wasn’t thrilled about that news as I had arrived with quite a few heavy bags. She offered to place me in room closest to the stairwell. I walked down the 1st floor hallway and into the stair well, once I reached the 3rd floor landing there was a pungent smell of feces. I hadn’t seen it as I passed but my friend did. I immediately became nauseous and disgusted. I reached the door to the 4th floor and was once again met with a foul odor of urine and air freshener. I felt like vomitting. I was so upset because I’ve stayed at many extended stays and have never had a terrible experience. I returned to the front desk and the attendant placed me in a room on the opposite end of the building still on the 4th floor. The room smelled but I opened the window to let it clear out. Hoping I could relax, I sat down to turn on the TV. It showed “no signal”. The tv didn’t work. The following morning (Tuesday) I went to speak to the manager about my check in experience. Mary Ann was very dismissive, never apologized although she acknowledged that her staff was made aware by me that someone had defecated in the stairwell. She simply said that it had been cleaned and that they can’t control what other people do. I have NEVER experienced what I experienced at Extended Stay North EVER.

The minute I walked in the building, I was greeted with a ok presence. i booked a room reservation for 2 beds didn't have any available so she gave me a king size bed wasn't happy with it and didn't give back the money reimbursement for the difference... Now, I was told that the elevators wasn't working.Had to use the stairs which my room was on the second floor. As i'm walking through the hallways, I noticed two doors across each other with gun bullet holes and the carpet very moldy and wet and had a bad smell throughout the hallway. As I enter my room, my room.Smell very moldy, and wet gave me a headache i took pictures of all the mold spots in the room wasn't very happy at all.. For hygiene essentials, all I got was one bar soap, no shampoo or conditioner..Nobody greeted me out when it was time for check out.. gates were closed all the way... The only thing positive about my room was the comfy king size bed...Will Never book here again!!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

Elevator broken.. Elevator has been inoperative for months as per front desk.. Light wont stay on in the bathroom or living room.. Always turns off automatically after about 15 to 20 minutes.. Poor furniture design. Interior is depressing.

DO NOT BOOK!!! Stay away! This hotel, hands down has to be the most nastiest, unprofessional, disgusting hotel I’ve ever been too. And if it wasn’t for my baby, I’d be sleeping in my car. Upon arrival, I instantly picked up on the most disturbing smell in the lobby. I then had to use the phone to contact an agent due to the fact that they have no one infront to receive you. After waiting almost an hour and making 4 calls to 4 different agents. The man who was supposed to be working in the lobby seemed like he was just waking up, had the nastiest attitude, did not feel welcoming at all. But that’s not even the worst part of this horrific experience. After waiting an hour with my sleeping baby in my arms and 2 bags… the man goes to tell me the elevators does not work, my room is on the 4th floor and that I’ll need to take the stairs. I kindly asked for a refund and he said I’d have to take it up with the third party I booked with. As we are done with the check in process, he gives me the keys and just close the shutters and walk off. The keys don’t have my room number and I have no idea where the stairs are. He sees me struggling with my sleeping baby and the two luggage’s in my hands. And walks away… as he’s walking away I asked him about my room number and the stairs, he shouted from the end of the hall way, my room number and that the stairs were down the hall. Then he continues to walk away. Seems to me like he was going back to sleep. The worst experience I’ve ever had.

Dirty , bad management and front desk

This place was so nasty. The elevator did not work and it’s smelled in the stares and hallways. The walls was dirty and outside of the refrigerator was nasty. It’s never anyone at the front desk. They only have one towel and charge for anymore. Would only give one roll of toilet paper was told they couldn’t give you anymore. My door you had to slam it to close and then make sure it closed all the way even after that all you have to do was kick it and it would open.

You need to hire people to clean rooms at least once or twice a week. You need to clean stairs as well because it smells not good

The elevator was broken. No compensation was offered when ask denied. Therefore we had to walk up and down to our 4th floor room. Asked for a room on a lower floor. Second floor available with a upcharge of $38. No thank you. I was labor weekend no rooms available the labor union need to investigate the cleaning staff has been enduring up and down the stairs carrying heavy equipment and cleaning supplies linen. Customer have to walk to front desk for toilet paper because the front desk staff don't want to walk the stairs. this place is TERRIBLE

Otherwise room was pretty clean. No bugs. But maybe was missing a dehumidifier as the room was always wet. Even though the a/c was on. Also, listing stated breakfast was included. NO BREAKFAST. This was really upsetting. I booked based on savings of breakfast cost. Also, the power keeps turning off even when in the room and you have to press a button to turn the lights on again.

There are jist so many things. First, the lobby, check in lady, all hallways and outside was overwelling potent with Marijuana. After check in was complete and paid for i was informed of my room on the 4th floor and that ooh yeah, the elevator was struck by lightening and was not working. Stairs are my only choice. I have damage to one of my legs and can't decent a curb without pain. I asked if there was another room and she said they were fully booked. Note, the parking lot never came clase to being more then 40% full the whole time. I found out too from maintence that the elecator has been down for more than 3 weeks. So that being done. The halls are carpeted and do smell bad but i really didnt care about that. The rooms look like they had been renovated by having linoleum placed after the carpets been pulled up. The kitchen/desk/drawer/entertqinment center was still older and missing sections of surfacing. No big deal. Tv remote was not there so the tv didnt work without one. Went to call the front desk, phone or phone line didnt work. Fridge was old, covered in rust bot in and out, dirty and the freezer door was broken so would not shut. Ice everywhere from previous events. Door to bathroom had been punched with a hole left behind. Something spewed all over the walls. Room stayed humid and damp. The only negative was the mattress. Our feet were higher than our heads. House keeping needs to rotate the mattresses more often. Other than that it was clean and kn good shape.

Bed sheets dirty, buildings smell

When I paid it said breakfast included - it was not. Late check in worked out, though i felt like i was bothering the employee to come and check me in. The room was pretty beat up from previous pets and guests..but fairly clean and didn't smell bad like the other reviews stated. Not bad, just seemed like an over priced room for what i got.

There are a few things that could have been better but overall..it was a pleasant stay compare to what it could have had been if we didn’t find a place to stay because of what happened.

Another hotel where Air Conditioner didn’t make the room cold. Electric outlet in bathroom didn’t work. Wooden floor extremely dirty, soles of my feet were black and dirty, couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that came off my feet in the shower. Blinds didn’t really keep light out of room

I was double charged, I prepaid for the hotel and then paid again at the hotel because I forgot I had already paid. Communication between systems is the only flaw I see other than that everything was good I went to the receptionist to tell her what’s going on and she refunded with no issue!

I usually do not write reviews but I HAVE to say something! Upon the initial walk in of the room, I was greeted by an EXTREMELY filthy refrigerator. It was very stained and rusted to which I am surprised they even allowed guest to stay in the room. It should absolutely be switched out. I wouldn’t even dare to open it because who knows what’s inside. The shower had mold all around the base. The floors were sticky. I am so glad that I was only here for one night. I am sure there will be a generic response apologizing for the state of the room but it truly does not help with what was endured. I would not be staying her again when visiting this city.

Roaches in the room. The noise from the other rooms was incredibly loud, given that it was a business trip, it was not the best to rest. I can say I was helped by the front desk when I got there, the gentleman was very helpful. I would say they need to deep clean their common areas.

Rooms are non- smoking but still smell terrible! The carpet is dirty with old stains and smelly. We asked to be changed and they lied that they were all booked. The front desk did come up and spray and he even said it smelled terrible and commented housekeeping should have sprayed. We paid $150 and had the worst experience!

I have never been offered a room like this ever. A sewer gas smell, very old and used equipment in need an extreme attention, refrigerator is covered in unknown layers of uncleaned surfaces. Not fit for my intent to rent as a room.

I was extremely disappointed, and frankly disgusted, in the condition of the room and the hotel building. I did not have high expectations, but the conditions endured were terrible... dirty floors and walls all throughout the building, thin walls that made noisy guests nearly impossible to block out, incredibly worn amenities (furniture, counters, refrigerator, etc.), and the terrible, distinct odor of cigarette smoke in the room and throughout the hotel. And while expectations were not high for the complimentary breakfast offerings, the offerings were pathetic, with essentially only muffins and granola bars for options. Lastly, the price paid is the price I expect for a well-maintained budget hotel. However, what was offered was extremely overpriced. The experience I had is the exact kind of experience I try to avoid when booking a hotel.

Tried calling office to notify a late check in but no answer. When arriving I was told the room was marked as a no show due to system night audit. Didnt even stay there due to no one answering the office phone.

This is one of the filthiest properties I've ever stayed at in my entire life. Please don't come here. Im talking about roaches going to bed. There was a whole in the door and everything. Now mind you the manager Crystal put us in this room. I booked through Expedia and will be trying to see if I can retrieve some of my money for this stay. You will regret staying here if you have standards and expectations.

It was horrible since I got there. The room smelled like pure clorox. I told the receptionist in the front desk and ahe very rudely said to open the window. I replied, mam if on the first floor and we are stepping out. Her answer was, we dont have men crawling through the window. We couldnt sleep becauae the AC had a terrible noice and to top it off in the middle of the night I went to use the bathroom and there was one of those little roches walking on the bathroom sink by my toothbrush. This motel was without a doubt, the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in in 50 years of staying in hotels. The hallways were stained and disgusting, the rooms had sticky stuff on the furniture, the glass shower doors were filthy, all in all a place that’s worth maybe $30 per night.

The room was absolutely atrocious!! The fridge was ice sickles hanging from it and brown stains dropped out of it when we opened the fridge. The bed sheets were dirty and had pubic hairs on them. The wash rags were also dirty with stains on them. This was the most disgusting room I have ever been in. Coming off the road in Alabama we were too tired to complain. We just ripped the sheets off. 10 out 20 do not recommend. Disgusting!!! We should've asked for our money back.

Didn’t like having to wait until 3pm to check in my moms a Moffitt patient and her treatments require not being Exposed to sunlight and we are not from here and had to wait 5 hours in a parking lot before checking in.

Male staff would not fix my tv for hours!!!

The building is run down. Our room had holes all over the bathroom door. There were dead bugs on the desk area, on the night table, and by the air conditioning. The lamp shade and sheets had stains — & the bathroom towels had hair on them. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing!! This isn’t even worth 1 star!

The rooms has roaches also a mildew smell the customer service was excellent
