Besides a few hair in my bathtub, it appeared relatively clean I always go to this location because the occasionally have a security guard there.

A young gang member(according to him) knocked on my door trying to rob me one day and the staff did nothing. God bless Arizona and the second.

I’m pretty sure the manager is having an affair with the cleaning lady as she called him from her cellphone to kick me out instead of going to the front desk and having the employee on duty talk to me about why my room wasn’t paid yet. Hey lady not your job. Stick to cleaning

The amount of deaths in these rooms is alarming.

They will take your money and give you towels that have stains on them as if they came from a young boys room who just discovered himself.

They would rather kick you on the streets than work with you for being late to pay even though you’ve been giving them $80 daily for 3 weeks straight. That’s 1,680 dollars for them to never clean my room or let me use a mop myself. That’s $1680 to be tossed outside in 100 degree heat. I could have rented a one bedroom apartment for less than that(there’s reasons I couldn’t). Motel 6 doesn’t care about their customers at all. They take your money and bang on your door to kick you out. The best part I had the money for the room 15 mins later. Now I only want to put them out of business.

The floor boards were coming off. The room was extremely humid. There were mosquitoes and cobwebs. I was there only to sleep for a few hours, but will not return again. Motel 6 properties are going downhill.

For a motel six I was happy the room was clean. It's a good area where you can walk to a few different stores. There's a laundromat right next-door. I would definitely stay again.

My room was located "On the street" not beside the street! When I opened the door of my room I could touch cars! I turned the air conditioner on during the night to prevent street noises, but the noise of air conditioner was worse! Overall, I couldn't sleep whole night!

AC works great, rooms are simple, staff is helpful, security is doing their job right, plenty of grass for my pet & no pet fees. Its budget friendly. Thank you motel 6.

Location: Conveniently located right on Scottsdale Road, which made it easy to get around and ride to different spots. Area: The surrounding area is a bit older. Not rundown, but there were a few sketchy folks around at times — nothing that caused issues, just something to be aware of. Room: No frills, but honestly solid. Clean sheets, comfortable bed, and the shower and sink were clean, which is what matters most. Value: Great price if you just need a place to crash for the night. I wasn’t looking for luxury, just a clean spot to sleep, and it delivered.

Bathroom light flickered and the shower squealed, but over all the property was adequate. Didn't feel like the best area but we had no issues and located near many attractions

I had to walk across the parking lot and have office staff reprogram my room entry card each night of my stay in the same room as the entry card I was given initially wouldnt grant me access to my room the following nights. The entry card also would not unlock the gate to the swimming pool. No towels, tp, or anything else was replenihed by housekeeping on any of my 3 day stay. The room should have been cheaper for the cheap experience I purchased.

While the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room had been cleaned, the property was in really rough shape. There was an old water leak in the ceiling just above the bed (2’ sq) that was poorly patched, the sheets and bed were reminiscent of 1973, the tops of the side table were lifted and warped, and the shower area showed mold that was covered by caulking. I had to stay near my health clinic during spring training in Scottsdale and hotels I usually stay at were booked or outrageously priced so my options were limited. Despite the nice staff I will never stay at this property again.

Yes she replies, there were short staffed. But i saw 4 cleaning ladies doing rooms. So how could they be short staffed considering they had all day to clear and clean rooms. I asked if any other rooms were available and she replied i'd have to charge you extra...what? No, so i waited when i came back 25m later. I still had 2 wait anther 10m. The front desk girl was rude and unaccomdating to other guest about a late check out since she too had to wait 25m as well. After that was settled the evening was fine.

We stayed while on a road trip , yes it was cheaper but in area we needed. Property was out dated, shower curtain was falling apart. Close to main road that was very loud and busy 24/7.

The bed was a bit firm and the road noise got loud at times. There is also no coffe in the room but there was a Qt crossed the street, if you did want to go to the office to get coffee.

This is definitely a get what you pay for kind of place. For what I spent I got my money’s worth. One of the big positives was the friendly man running the desk. Also, the motel is conveniently located, the shower was consistently hot and the room included a mini fridge.

Staff was not friendly at late check in, 10 pm. The floor in the room was very dirty. There were visible areas that were possibly mopped but it did not seem recent. The floor was only possibly mopped in the walk way. It was easy to see where the floor had not been cleaned in quite some time. We did not take off our shoes except to sleep. The furniture was visibly dirty on the lower portions. The bathroom floor was water logged and there was mold in the corner. On check out the staff seemed surprised that the floor was dirty. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and we understand about some issues, but the floor was nowhere clean enough for family to stay in.

Location; shower; heater; fridge, TV No kleenex Room was never cleaned, trash never picked up, limited towels-had to pick up at front office. I thought $102 night was too much even on booking.com. Only saved $4 to book an additional night on a Sunday night. No manager on site to talk to. Tub could have been cleaned better. Room somewhat met expectations but could have been better. No option for that below.

it was more like 2.5 stars (between average and poor). It's less than average, but it was just a place to sleep and shower for us. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower, bring your own. Also, people were smoking outside our door so often that our room smelled of smoke, they should make a smoking area near the pool in the parking lot. Uncomfortable beds too, but we did not expect much.

Pretty sketchy hotel. Doors looked like they had been opened by the police a few times then patched back up. The card readers barely worked. Felt a bit like there were drug deals going on. Rooms were dingy at best. I was concerned about leaving camera, etc. in my room. Not a very pleasant stay.

I was thinking maybe it was just the nighttime lady that was rude but now it was the daytime lady as well. The nighttime lady acted like it was my fault and I should’ve known to tell them I had a vehicle so I could get a parking permit, it was not offered at all. I had to go down there and get it with a baby at 1 AM or I could’ve risk being towed that was not a concern. How do I not prepaid in full? I would’ve immediately left. The area is gross high crime lots of drug activity. The hotel itself. I think the last time it was cleaned was about 1984. Everything was disgusting And explicitly said no smoking within 20 feet there was smoking everywhere you could not escape it it was a cigarette smell and other smoke. Lots of homeless people on site camped out overall zero stars I felt very inane and worried about my personal property. This hotel should be condemned. You don’t expect much from a motel six but you expect to be greeted properly to be safe and clean. If you’re a normal person just looking for a reasonable place to stay and you value safety and cleanliness. I would not stay here if you have zero other options it might be considerable but for an extra $20 I would’ve rather stayed anywhere else again if I had not paid in full, I would’ve left promptly it was that bad

Room smelled bad. location/ area very attractive and extremely noisy even in the middle of the night . Doors or windows had no sound barrier.

The bed was clean and very comfortable. Pillows were nice as well. There was a small fridge and a microwave. The general cleanliness was good. It was quiet and very convenient to restaurants, grocery store, gas station, etc. The neighborhood seemed safe. The room was very basic and had damage that needs repair. The bathroom door handle was busted in. It still functioned but it was crushed so the inside of the door was showing. The room could use some renovation and a deep clean. There's a crevice where the bathtub walls meet the bathtub and there was obvious long-time dirt in the crevice. While the floor was clean, it was dirty around the edges and baseboard. There were two bath towels but only one hand towel and one washcloth.

The bathroom door did not close completely. I had to mess with the strike plate to get it to close and lock. I think people live at the hotel. Around 10pm we could hear a child running on the second floor. The walls are thin, so you can hear most noises.

The hotel is next to a busy road without any noise barrier. If you happen to get a room on the road side, you'll need to be a heavy sleeper that can sleep through all sort of traffic noise.

Nothing my grade is due to noise

Extremely loud from cars on street side of hotel. Almost every object in the room was dirty, damaged and/or out of alignment. Sink was weak, I didn't even want to try to take a shower. I have stayed at Motel 6's that are very clean and/or quiet. This is not one of them. Not sure how it has such high ratings on here. Usually the hotels I stay at match up with their ratings.

First room was filled with bed bugs so we requested a second one, we asked to switch and got a room which had hairs on the towels.

There are definately long term residents here. Not what we were looking for even just for one night. Nice person at check in/out. You could tell rooms used to be smoking rooms (my eyes were burning a little). Sheets were clean. Honestly, I should have spent a little more money for a different place.

The girls in the office are always super friendly, I have never felt unsafe here, the rooms are clean with no bugs. My only real complaint is that the pillows are lumpy

Being on a busy street its quieter than I expected. I've been staying here while relocating and its really quite excellent for the area and the value. Kids and pets stay free, front desk staff is welcoming and accommodating, rooms are clean and efficient. Perfect for a temporary stay.

My stay was horrible. The side table was sticky and obviously hadn’t been cleaned at all. Then the upstairs guest showered and that’s where the trouble began. It was pouring a solid stream of water from the ceiling and it was ballooning with water inside several parts of the wall. It was so bad you couldn’t use the bathroom without getting some guys shower water on you. They thankfully refunded me.

I’ve stayed in nicer Motel 6’s. This place was old and run down, the room had a terrible smell that I don’t think air freshener could have helped. The towel rack was falling off the wall. The tub had stains, the towels had hair from previous guests on them. The room was facing the main road and the noise was crazy. Had to leave the tv and AC on to help drown it out. The bed was old and lumpy. Would not recommend this place unless it was an absolutely last resort and even then I would say sleep in your car. I had a two night stay and checkout the following morning and got room someplace else for my second night in town.

The place is certainly showing its age and smells musty. There was a parking lot party going on til 3 am. We opened our door in the morning to a junky passed out sitting up in his car with junky paraphernalia in his lap. Not a great experience for us and we dont recommend unless you're on a tight budget.

You get what you pay for, the photos and website are great but there were many shady individuals late at night. Early hours of the morning door slamming and fighting, looks like some live there full time.

The person who was at the desk when we checked in, was not pleasant at all. She did not greet, smile, nothing. I went to the front desk later on and the door was locked. I banged I called. Eventually, I spoke to somebody in reservations and at about that same time I saw the staff member going to a room. I understand it’s not easy if you’re the only staff person, but I would’ve thought that there would’ve been at least a note on the door that said I’ll be back shortly. That staff person did get the additional towels and shampoo we needed-appreciated that but once again she was not pleasant.

Everything was decent. The location was convenient and the check in was easy. The room could use a refresher with things like paint and caulking, but the main deficit was worn-out, uncomfortable bed.

Where shall I start? This property is a dump. Run down, out dated and dingy. It reminded me of the old transient hotels on Chicago's old Madison ave when we used to call it " skid row". There was literally only one electrical outlet behind the phone desk to power up my wife's cpap. The street noise from Scottsdale ave. is ridicules. And, fyi, if you do decide to stay here, do yourself a favor and book a chiropractic adjustment and a full body massage before you sleep in that bed with those pillows. No hair dryer, no coffee, no usb ports, terrible, pixilated TV, no modern amenities to even speak of. This should be a $30 per night flop house for drifters. Literally stay anywhere else but here!!

It was loud with door slamming car alarms the bed sunk down in the middle there was a fitted sheet a blanket and a top sheet over the blanket very odd.

Didn’t feel safe - numerous large dogs on the property, people outside the room door talking and smoking late at night. Room was dirty and odd - large leaking rust stain coming out of the wall in the shower, floor was oddly hot, toilet wouldn’t flush unless I took off the lid and jiggled the float, lights flickered and flashed like they were possessed.

Beds are kinda hard, also only 1 pillow for each person and its clear they've seen better days. Shower had good pressure but light in shower room slow to turn on and corners dirty throughout room.

When we arrived to our room, the microwave was running for whatever reason. Also, the bed was in bad need of being replaced, the mattress was sagging something fierce. For 7 out of we stars I was not happy with what we got. Lots of zombies wandering around outside if you catch my drift.

Hotel is average. Bed was clean, room was spartan but you expect that for a Motel 6. Room faced the road and thus was loud at night due to road noise. Bath came with soap but no shampoo. Refrigerator worked well though.

This is just a basic spartan motel if you need cheap accommodations in the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were small and spartan, but clean. They did provide a refrigerator and microwave. No shampoo was provided, only soap, and linens were at a minimum. Coffee was available in mornings but no breakfast. Area is a little rough (lots of homeless) but provides many dining and shopping options nearby. I was a little worried about my car in the parking lot considering the area and fellow guests, and management takes no responsibility for damage/theft.

Every room smells. Cover blankets no longer white. Terrible condition. Should be shut down and renovated.

I didnt arrive until after midnight but thwy were very accomodating to me and my needs.

This property did not look like the photos.

I asked for a back room off of the main road, but was informed they didn't have one. It is EXTREMELY noisy facing Scottsdale Road. To deaden the noise, I had a noise machine with me AND put the fan on constant the whole night. That helped a bit.

The various people in the office were very professional and courteous.

All I wanted was a nights sleep and a hot shower for the road the next morning....What I got was frequent wake ups in the night from a few car alarms going off as well as people talking outside the door in the early morning hours. Not hot water at 9:30 AM so no hot shower. I would never consider staying here again.

The rating on Expedia was wrong. No hot water, one wash cloth, dirty floor, noisy, fights........

Very noisy. Run down. The door didn’t close properly. No bedspread, very dusty, very small.

The Ac/Heater Unit wouldn't shut off nor Change settings, i asked for a Handicapped room and did receive it. But the beds were very Uncomfortable, Lumpy and worn out. The Tv had to be turned all the way up and the audio was still off. I was told by people aroujd the area that it was a Horrible Motel 6 and a lot of Drug use was known to be in the area. I didnt want to find out, i checked out and left. Didn't even stay more than an hour or so.

No water during my stay, no follow up from property, no refund, no credit, no respect for customer. Terrible owners. Do Not Stay here!

Got the room for me n my husband and our 2 dogs for a night of relaxation and that’s exactly what we got.

There was no top sheet on the bed when we arrived. The phone to the front desk wouldn't ring. I had to walk down and get a sheet to put on the bed. There was only one bath towel, one wash cloth and a hand towel. The next evening when we got back, the room hadn't been cleaned. I had to walk down to the office to get towels, wash rags and hand towel and 2 more pillows those we had were very flat. I asked why our room wasn't serviced they said the maids knock & if no one answered they didn't clean. I told them they would never get an answer, we were working everday there. When I got back with the pile of stuff there were no wash rags at all but 2 handtowels, 1 bath towel, one smaller bath towel and bath rug. Oh, no coffee for the pot in the room. The day they did clean they left 1 coffee pod.
