Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences, with a majority leaning towards dissatisfaction. Common complaints include unclean rooms, poor maintenance, and inadequate customer service.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff
- Unclean rooms and bathrooms
- Poor maintenance and lack of amenities

Guests were locked out of rooms. No manager on site. After 3 hours waiting, left for another motel. Have to dispute charges to my credit card. They were unable to provide access or refund charges.
- 1/5
I stay there for work. I work nights and come back to the room late. Once I am done at work all I want to do is relax in my room, but every night I have to get my room key reprogrammed to my room. There is no live person at the desk. There is a kiosk and a person helps me from afar. It makes things a lot harder for me to enjoy my stay. I do not recommend this place.

Amazing service
- 1/5
Blood in the sheets when we checked in and the front staff gave us sheets did not proceed to change the sheets
- 5/5
It was great.we had a great time.
- 2/5
My cooler didn’t work when I got there, I was changed to another room where the cooler in that room was barely working and the tv wasn’t working as well.
- 5/5
Love it here. Great staff
- 4/5
It is a good hotel for a 1 night sleep
- 1/5
Clean room. Needs a little upgrade, but quiet and safe. Convient to bus line with multiple fast food options nearby.
- 1/5
The floor was dirty and the bathroom tub did not drain. Ac unit was not working properly and the room was 90 the whole time unless it was during the day then it was 100. Tried to call front desk and phone was not connected tried calling them and got put on hold for ten minutes then hung up on. Not going back ever
- 5/5
I just wanted to say Ben from the kiosk and Tiffany from the front desk were absolutely awesome. Anything I needed they both were right there and help me no problem I will come back to this place definitely.
- 2/5
The tub wouldn’t drain. Our key quit working twice. We were locked out of the pool. No fridge to keep food cold. Limited pillows and towels. Wouldn’t use this place again

Location was great.

Cleanliness
- 3/5
You get what you pay for here, but I think a little effort on maintenance would make a big difference. The bathroom door was damaged with a couple of holes. The bathroom sink seemed to be just holding on and the shelf above it was tilting forward. the desk chair was broken and should have been tossed as it really could have collapsed under more weight. The bed was fine and, for my stay at least, the property wasn't noisy. A plus is that across the street is a taproom that is very nice and the free Venus bus line shuttles you to the hotspots of Tempe/ASU in less than ten minutes.
- 5/5
I liked it alot it was relaxing

Good location, clean constable room. Good price. The toilet didn't flush for three days and I wasn't about to call anyone about it. the room key kept deactivating and it took upwards of an hour to reset it a few times. Once was at midnight after a really long day. Like come on guys. There is no human front desk person me it is a video kiosk of a person in India or someplace else. They did a fine job but its not the same as having someone on the property. The person who was there that I met one afternoon was really great. She helped with my room key problem once.

My stuff was stolen by the maid
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
The room was nice, we just wish it had a fridge, microwave, and ice machine. Otherwise, a perfect stay!
- 0.5/5
Smelly rooms , no fridge
- 1.5/5
Pool. A/c didn't work in both rooms I was in. Remote was broken. Only cleaning I saw was sheet changing and towel removal.
- 1/5
Nothing It was a disappointing experience its in a good neighborhood But it belongs in a ghetto
- 5/5
Honestly best motel that I have stayed at 10 out of 10 . Only thing is they do not do tap pay or cash so come with a card .
- 5/5
..
- 5/5
Young lady at the front desk was very polite , patient and professional. nothing
- 2/5
Where to start? 1st, the toilet had a small leak that constantly kept the floor around the toilet wet. 2nd, Ice machine didn't work but was told I could take my ice bucket next door to the gas station ( what a Joke)! My stay was for 4 nights and I'm not a mechanic but if this property truly cared about it's guests, GETTING A ICE MACHINE REPAIRED ISN'T THAT MAJOR OF A DEAL( THIS PISSED ME OFF). 3rd, no mini fridge, no mini microwave, no shampoo at all!! 4th, each day I had to stop by the office to get my key card reactivated, even though my stay was confirmed for 4 days upon check in. 5th, the video interaction at the front office was Very unwelcoming, another way to remove a important part of any travel experience!!! Will say TV worked well and so did the AC. I will update Expedia if the hotel reaches out to me with any reply or compensation.
- 2.5/5
It was better then nothing!!
- 2/5
I wasn't able to extend my stay for another night they had me check out at 11 and return back 3 .when I had already made reservations so I would be able to stay in the same room. Had to stay outside in the heat for 4 hours
- 4/5
Everything was good bed comfortable nice size room
- 3/5
Clean room, walking distance to a few stores
- 1/5
The property wasn't kept up. Alot of people loitering around the parking lot at night. Didn't feel safe. There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom drain. Honestly my partner and I got sick from staying there for 3 days . We did tell the office but they didn't seem to care . The room was upstairs and I am handicap so it was hard for me to get up and down the stairs . They said they didn't have no room in the 1 st floor which the motel wasn't full u could tell . Very disappointed . I wanted to get a refund of at least half my money back. .we won't stay here again
- 2.5/5
Dealing with a person miles away.
- 5/5
I like the area of the motel, plus clean Nothing my stay was good
- 1/5
Had roaches in the room they did not refund my money. I will post how horrible this place is every time I can
- 2/5
Check in was with a machine. Issues with my toilet were not taken care of. I left without spending the night.
- 3/5
The A/C worked. The shower curtain could have been cleaner. I didn’t have much contact with the staff. The property is well kept, but small.
- 1/5
We stayed in room 227 and there was a foul smell like sewage coming from the bathroom and both nights we felt sick to our stomachs and I even got dizzy a few times. We couldn't cancel since we had previous reservations the night before . But they said they had no other rooms avail. I feel I should get a refund of at least half my money . We had no towels and ran out of toilet paper and there were also a lot of not so great people hanging out in the parking lot
- 4/5
Clean room. Plenty of parking. Convenient location
- 0.5/5
Nothing. Paid for room but was told I couldn't stay upon arrival. Paid for room but upon arrival was told I couldn't stay.
- 1/5
Due to the fact they have gone to kiosk check in, they failed terribly. After 3 attempts to obtain my card key, all 3 failed to let me enter the room I had already paid for.On top of that, they're parking lot would not let me park my truck and uhaul trailer. I ended up paying for another room at a different motel. I attempted to get a refund from motel 6 and was denied. I will never stay at motel 6 again, and advise anybody to steer clear of them.
- 1.5/5
To be threatened to have the police called when my part was paid in full for a mistake the front desk girl made is a problem to me didn't apologize not once or even try to make it right if they know he's going to be there for a full week perhaps a fridge or microwave would be useful or try to compensate for the 2 days with no air. But try to make things right.
- 1/5
There was a kiosk in the office that connected to a call center in India and the speaker was so bad I almost couldn't get checked it. There were several crackheads in the parking lot in various states of consciousness. The room was actually half decent however it was literally just beds and a TV. No other amenities whatsoever. Spent the whole night wondering if my truck would still be there untouched in the morning.
- 3/5
I liked the location of the property and quick and simple the check in process was. The area is very quiet and close to everything. Staff was helpful whenever I needed assistance. Property was very clean. It would’ve been neat if there was a mini fridge in the room. Another thing that I found a bit annoying was that the room key card would constantly deactivate and I would have to go up to the front desk for them to give me a new one. It was a constant going back and forth just trying to get into my room and was quite the inconvenience. This happened every night for the 4 days I booked the hotel room. The staff was very helpful and kind during these situations.
- 2/5
Check in was they a screen/monitor. Super wierd.
- 1/5
I genuinely felt icky being in this room. I ended up sleeping in my car instead.
- 4/5
Its was very decent for a motel 6
- 2/5
Air conditioner did not work properly, it was warm in the room all night. The door did not close securely. And then when you slammed it close to close it we had to get the attendant to open it. Other than that it was ok. The girl running the front desk was awesome! The computer generated AI guy at the kiosk was horrible. I would never stay anywhere with that kiosk again
- 0.5/5
There were bed bugs the ac did not work with a heat warning. The person that I was talking to in the office was on the TV screen and kept giving us the round around said she was going to move us to a different room but then said she talked with her supervisor and said why was she moving us to a 1 bedroom when we had 2 beds and said to give them a little bit that they had someone assigned to clean one of the rooms with 2 beds and that it wouldn't be to long. So instead of them putting us in another room they left us in the same room and expected us to pay for another night for more money. We did not get no sleep because when we finally got to lay down we started getting attacked by bugs. The ac would not blow out any cold air at all. The room was disgusting there was dead bugs on the floor. ?????????
- 4/5
The staff are very nice and helpful
- 2/5
NO MICROWAVE, ICE MACHINE, or MINI FRIG. Everything had to be done at the Circle K.
- 5/5
Great!!

I travel a lot so I stay in a lot of different hotels all over the country. I've had a few bad experiences, and this was one of them. When I walked in to the office and a kiosk with a webcam and a live person somewhere else in the world was the check-in method I should have cancelled right then and there. I gave it a chance though. Got my keys. Went to my room, it appeared clean enough. The air conditioner wasn't on, I turned it on. After about an hour the condenser never kicked on so the air conditioner was broken. The toilet seat was also very loose. I finally went back to the office to see if the guy in the kiosk could switch me to another room. Unfortunately they didn't have any available. Trying to get my stay cancelled and all nights refunded through the kiosk guy wasn't happening. I contacted the third party I'd booked through to see what they could do, they tried reaching the hotel and surprise surprise, no one answered. So now I'm waiting to see if I at least get the second night of my stay refunded and if I have to I'll do a chargeback with my bank for the first night. If it wasn't a tiny room and it wasn't in Phoenix where the sun makes everything extremely hot I wouldn't have needed the AC but it was a threat to my health and safety not having it. I hope the owner does the right thing and fully refunds me.
- 1/5
Stay away. Dirty hotel. Hair all over the floors. Mold/black areas in shower, walls, corners, floors. Sink sprayed everywhere. Toilet leak resulted in standing water in the bathroom. Doors don’t shut/seal well. Clean towels had hair on them. Virtual check in, not live person in office. The list goes on. They upgraded me to a new room when I asked for my money back. I’m said you are going to charge me and they did not charge me more. He new room was better but the tub drain was not working so I had to fix it. You could see outside through the poorly mounted ac unit.
- 1/5
You check in with a virtual agent which is a little weird. The room itself was disgusting- I saw two bugs crawling around the room before I went to bed and the sink had no drain stopper. It was just an open hole which is probably where the bugs came up from but you could see all the buildup and stuff inside. The AC kept cutting out so I woke up in sweats (the setting wasn’t on AUTO). The bed is so thin and the pillows had to have been sat on by someone for 70 years because they were also so thing and yellowed and so uncomfortable. I’ve stayed at other Motel 6’s and none have been this disgusting and scary on the inside.
- 1/5
There was no staff on site, obvious prostitution on site, the A/C did not work well, the room smelled bad, there was a weird door that the people in the room next door could very easily open and just blocked with a desk. I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. I would never stay at this hotel ever again, no matter how desperate I am or any other Motel 6 after my experience at your establishment nor would I recommend that anyone would stay there for any reason. I would have been better off sleeping in my car on the side of the road. The only positive is that the shower had great shower pressure but on the other hand I couldn't comfortably take a shower being nervous that someone would come in through the weird door and kidnap my granddaughter to use her in the obvious prostitution and drug use happening there. Extremely unsafe. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE STAY HERE!
- 5/5
Nice
- 3.5/5
The front desk was remote, ie. you converse with a real person via screen. A bit strange but it worked well. I could change the room with an on-site manager which also helped with the WIFI as it had some security issues. Room was decently sized, plenty of parking. The motel offers decent value for money if you are not too picky. There is not much to do in the area and the pool is more for show than for usage.
- 4/5
Hated the kiosk check in. Hard to understand and the closed caption was way off. I wasn't put on the bottom level, as requested weeks prior. Coffee wasn't available consistent hours in the morning. No big complaints at all.
- 1/5
no human staff day or night.. only clerk in india to check-in. key not functioning 2x reset daily. sink/toilet/tub dirty. bed mattress very thin. linen dirty. no refrigerator, microwave in room. sode machine not working.
- 1/5
The A/C wasn’t working properly, went to the front desk in the evening where I was told that there were no more rooms available. Stayed in a room without A/C for 3 days.
- 1/5
Poor customer service and charged me an extra $10 to check in 30 mins before 3pm. After I waited 4 hours The room is dirty with cockroaches everywhere. The bed is creaky and the room smells of cigarette smoke even though it was meant to be a non smoking room. The walls are thin and u can hear everything from upstairs and the two rooms on either side and outside Terrible. Never again.
- 0.5/5
Didn’t feel safe and my room did not have a fridge or microwave as I paid for it . A man tried to attack us right outside . Cockroaches
- 3/5
AC worked well. Check in and out was done via webcam with someone at an offsite location, but it went smooth with no issues. Overall, I was not expecting much, I just needed a place to stay so I chose the cheapest option.
- 2/5
First room I was assigned the tub was filthy with a dark ring around the tub plus the bottom was filthy too. Get assigned a second room, move all my stuff into it and stay my first night there. Washed my face and brushed my teeth the next morning and the sink wouldn’t drain. Contacted the office, they sent maintenance which snaked it, took the piping apart to get to the trap and snaked it beyond the trap only to unleash a funk like no other and get black water all over my dog’s bed. Put it all back together, filled the sink with water only to have it not drain again. Was then assigned a third room that I had to move all my stuff once again. Third time is a charm I guess.
- 1/5
When you check in, you will talk to a machine. There is no one in the office. This place feels unsafe.
- 3/5
Basic no frills place to sleep. Bathroom door and fixtures showed lots of wear. Pet paw prints on a sheet. Noisy A/c unit. Lovely check in staff but weird interface with staff person on screen rather than live face to face
- 2/5
location the roaches and old air conditioners that have never been cleaned
- 1/5
It felt unsafe as there is nobody there. You have to check in with a machine with people who barely speak English. At least we did not understand what they said. If there is any problem, you can't get help as there is no one on site. I'd not recommend this place.
- 3/5
The room was okay for the price . But they is a room for improvement . I found a live bug on the curtain and had to call the front desk to come pick it up . That was unsettling but other than that the stay was okay . The staff was proactive because they didn’t waste time to help
- 4/5
Loved the location, had a very clean room, very quiet, my only downfall was the cable went in and out during my stay for hours but everything else was perfect
- 1/5
We got to our first room and discovered the AC didn't work - and that the room was so small that both beds were pushed agains the walls. I complained (after waiting in line behind other people trying to check in via kiosk) and was given another room. But the key card didn't work because her internet connection was slow, so it took 10-15 minutes for the computers to synch and allow our room door to open. This room was slightly larger, allowing access to both sides of ONE of the beds. I always thought the only things I required of a motel were a clean bed and a quiet setting. Turns out I was wrong: having a real human being available to address problems in person has been added to my list of "must haves."
- 2/5
Air conditioning did not work at all
- 1/5
The bed was literally a box spring with no mattress, probably the most uncomfortable bed I've tried to sleep on. The cable TV was inoperative. I could go on but why bother. If they cared they would have corrected these issues already. Never staying at that hotel again.
- 3/5
Pretty ridiculous to have to check in with a kiosk of a video to an off site employee
- 1/5
We left and found a new hotel. We were reimbursed.
- 5/5
Look it's an older property so you're obviously going to run into some imperfections, but that's also why you're going to save some bug money too. Anything outside of reasonably repairable is going to be imperfect but the property is being maintained and maintained at a level most other properties aren't living up to so kudos where they belong. Tiffany and the team dona terrific job keeping their little spot as safe as possible and it's noticed. It's an overall terrific little spot.
- 2/5
Ac was annoyingly loud and not reliable.
- 2/5
The room was clean but the smell of fabuloso was to strong, the towels with so many holes, and no shampoo and conditioner, no amenities at all, very disappointed with the price, i requested a extra blanket and they don't have extras so i has to buy one,
- 1/5
Disgusting!
- 2/5
There were roaches and toilet was leaking not enough towels or washcloths for my family ask for more towels but only 2 set of towels were given still wasn’t enough for my family so i bought roach spray so we wouldn’t take travelers back home with us and towels n washcloth room was too small not what it looked like in the pictures..
- 4/5
Airport shuttle was easy to find and checking in on the after hours kiosk was straight forward. Air conditioning was perfect for the unusual warm temps in March. Check out was effortless.
- 5/5
Clean room, air conditioning working properly .. parking was kinda tight but fine
- 2/5
Returned on 2nd night and the room did not get cleaned and my key didn’t work. So I had to Got back and talk to the AI kiosks.
- 3/5
Stay was fine overall. What thru me off was having to check in with someone on a video call. I’m all for having people work, but was it not possibly to find someone local instead of outsourcing to some video call center in presumably another country? I get the video call check in process if we’re in places like Miami or Vegas, but Tempe AZ? Please let’s be serious lol
- 5/5
Tiffany keeps this place clean and safe
- 5/5
Perfect and strong Air Conditioning! Clean room! Tiffany was the best!
- 4/5
Excellent air conditioners. Hot water for showers, and pretty quiet.
- 2/5
Room is clean but no amenities, mattress is worn, sink is disgusting and faucet sprays water all over. I’ve stayed there before 3 nights at a time and i feel so grossed out by the time i check out. I know you get what you pay for, but you’re still paying for a good night’s sleep which I never got.
- 1/5
This place is nothing short of awful. Never again. Check-in is at a video kiosk with people on the other end
- 5/5
Parking pet friendly,clean quiet
- 5/5
Great staff. Coffee is offered in the lobby early. The location was perfect for us. Would recommend to anyone!
- 1/5
You need to do better! What a ripoff!
- 2/5
It’s very basic compared the price charged
- 2/5
The property was not as described. My phone could not pick up the wi fi. There was no hair dryer or iron in the room and it smelled of stale cigarettes.
- 4/5
Property was surrounded by many restaurants, easy to walk to. The room was pretty small for us, but not bad.
- 4/5
Checking in with the live person kiosk was challenging and tedious, however the rep was very professional and thorough. Our room initially was clean and tidy. Microwave and fridge was a big plus. Ac worked wonders during the heat wave weather. My only complaint for the room was that the sink drain doesn’t drain. Whatever.. we just used the shower to brush our teeth and wash up. The toilet and shower was very clean and great water pressure! The cleaners never came by to clean rooms during our 3 nights, but if you call front desk, they are more than happy to provide extra towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. Parking was fine. The dog potty seemed pretty clean. But too bad no ice machine. Overall our stay was okay for the deal we got :)
- 1/5
I have stayed in Motel 6 a few times. But this is one of the motels that really disappointed me. They were cockroach, small fly, hairs on towels and pillows. But I guess you get what you paid for
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY HERE! First off, there are no in person employees as far as I am aware. Check in, check outs, and complaints occurred through a kiosk to an employee who was on Zoom and off-site. When I arrived to my accommodations, I discovered my room was not clean at all. The sheets and towels were full of hair from all parts of the body, and the sink was covered in toothpaste. Somehow, a large moth and many small bugs got into my room. The worst part of the stay is that there are roaches. I saw a roach in my room, and when I informed the front desk all they offered was a lack luster apology for the “inconvenience” and made a comment about how I “should have said something earlier”, despite me reporting this incident as soon as it occurred. Obviously this is a Motel 6- I wasn’t expecting a five star stay, but this was beyond my worst nightmares.
- 3/5
The floor of the room was dirty. It's a typical budget hotel.
- 1/5
The person who checked us into the room was in India and we interacted through a kiosk in the tiny office. The English of the person was bad and they didn't understand me. For example, he kept saying "two others". I kept telling him there was just two of us. I'm not an others. Many extra step than it usually takes to check in. I needed to scan my badge for him, since he was in India. Also, he needed a picture of me posing while holding up my ID. Not just me, but also my adult son had to provide an ID and pose with it. And the rental car license plate number was mandatory. Can't check in without it. The door to the room was bowed in and barely functional. There was no shampoo in the room. Our room was above the garbage dumpster, and the early morning trash pickup was very loud. Crazy place.
- 1/5
a random man literally walked up to me in my car. there was dirt all over the floors and the bottom of my feet was literally black. and there was someone else’s hair all over the shower.

- 2/5
Check in was a nightmare, a kiosk where a man with a very thick accent attempted to direct me on check in. His words were being close captioned and even the captioning couldn’t understand him. At one point it said he was talking about Pokeman and something about a black mask. It was seriously aggravating. After several minutes he told me my key was below in the machine. It was not. Eventually someone came out from the back, opened the machine and spent several minutes trying to reload the key cards. When I finally got to my room it appeared clean. There were several long dark hairs in the bathroom. The bedding was fine but the beds themselves were lumpy and very uncomfortable as were the pillows. The tv turned on but every station stated the signal was too weak or unavailable. The air conditioner was effective but loud. I would never stay here again and would advise anyone thinking of stay to reconsider.

Parking felt safe

All and all it was a pleasant stay. Everything was clean for the most part however the floors were dirty. Our socks and feet got filthy. My r

They never came to clean the room, roach was crawling on the bed. Needs maintenance. People where screaming at the middle of the night.

- 2/5
Virtual check in. Didn’t like it.
- 3/5
Floors and walls have been updated in the last decade, but nothing else. The door lock didn't work. Bathroom sink wasn't in the bathroom. Mattress was uncomfortable. AC was loud. Room was clean.
- 1/5
The two rooms I reserved was nasty. I checked in through a kiosk machine, so I was unaware how to report the rooms because it was not a physical person onsite. The heater didn't stay on. It was food in the rooms. Shrimp shells in one room. No clean towels in neither hotel and dirty tubs. Also it was roaches in the room and one was found in the bed. I have been trying to reach someone to help me and NO I DONT WANT A COUPON BECAUSE I WILL NEVER VISIT ANOTHER MOTEL 6.
- 5/5
Great staff! Really interesting the live customer service kiosk they have in the office. The in-person manager is nice and will try to work with you on certain things if they can. However... Have seen some crime in this area, the kiosk goes by the book and does not personalize service to your situation no matter how unfair and even if you literally did everything right, there's almost nowhere to walk your dog on property with almost the entire property being parking lot gravel and cement, and there are "no dogs on grass" signs in the few grassy areas that are here. And the rooms are pretty small if you have more than one bed. One bed all the way against the air conditioner underneath the window (the person lying in that one better love cold air), and the other bed all the way against the other wall with there being maybe a foot and a half in between beds. So not a lot of room for a lot of stuff. Perfect for a single person or a couple of people with just a couple of bags each. But bathrooms are a bit roomy, shower is good, TV good, decent sized fridge bigger than your typical "mini" fridge, small microwave (in rooms with a mic/fridge) combo. Oh! One more thing. If you book a room with a microwave and fridge, do not expect that to be the room that comes up in their system when they pull up your reservation. I have booked this room multiple times on different platforms, INCLUDING their very own My6 app, and each time I have to pay an extra fee when I go to check to be upgraded.
- 1/5
We had no hot water, had to take cold showers. We were locked out both rooms and had to go back and exchange keys no reason was given for why the keys was not working
- 1/5
They Gave Our Away... I Was Very Upsetting And Need My Refund Back
- 1/5
I do not recommend they do not have a person at the front desk. There is just a TV screen with somebody who knows where for check-in The room was dirty. The property was extremely uncapped and I’m almost positive. There was a legal prostitution happening in the rooms around us. Stay away
- 1/5
We found a roach & bed bug. I would run from this property
- 1/5
The room and the whole complex needs attention, especially since you're overcharging. It looked like my door had been kicked in, at least once. Terrible motel.
- 1/5
I don't feel safe it has rotaches in bed and bathroom its smell horrible
- 3/5
Although my room was not ready for about two hours after check-in time, the property manager did allow me to keep my suitcase in the janitor closet so I could do the things I needed to do in Tempe that afternoon. The room floor was sticky and there was no coffee pot in the room. The location was convenient for Uber and activities between Mesa & Tempe
- 1/5
Room was dirty. Parking lot is tiny. There is no one on site to take care of customers. You have to talk to someone on a computer screen who could be in India for I we know.
- 1/5
Dirty, loud, no refrigerator or blow dryer
- 1/5
yes
- 1/5
The place has no actual person at the front desk very inconvenient to check in with the machine my keys stopped working. There’s bugs in the room just not very accommodating at all. Definitely a last resort.

I was given the handicapped room. The sink was falling off the wall and the drain had garbage probably from the last person that stayed there. Floors were dirty; the wet towel on the floor turned black when I slid it on the floor. AC is very loud and the garbage truck wakes you up in the middle of the night. Also, a couple of the staff members knocked over a cart or boxes and fell on my car making a dent on the hood. I reported this to the person on call and nothing was done about it. This is a cheap motel but nothing else.
- 1/5
They refuse to help you at the window but if something is wrong on the virtual rep end she still has to assist clients that were initially sent to the virtual rep. Key wouldn't open had to go back again.. Just terrible administration Very nice cleaning staff
- 1/5
The parking lot was clean, and the air conditioning kept the room cool. Staff member Sophia front desk was very rude. The manager Jerrica was respectful. The whole process was a mess.
- 2/5
OLD ROOM BAD BED....DIFICULTY CHECK INN
- 1/5
No it was scary and ac was very loud no blankets. No staff to checking in
- 2/5
No es lo que esperaba
- 3/5
Poor check in process with the virtual kiosk
- 1/5
Dirty disgusting
- 2/5
No manager on site, kiosk with a zoom call with someone outside of the US. The interaction was all virtual. Room key stopped working after day 1, had to zoom call again with customer service in India. It appears people stay here for long periods of time, old and run down hotel.
- 3/5
The room was okay, never saw anyone from the hotel, check in and out was done on kiosk and took twice as long as it should have
- 1/5
Room was dirty. Door looked like it’s been kicked in before and dosent close all the way. Didn’t feel safe. A man was yelling at 5 in the morning.
- 1/5
Dirty noisy
- 2/5
The tub spout had a bad leak that you could hear dripping all night. There was also a very long black hair on the shower wall when I arrived. The door to the room looked like it had been kicked it in. I kept wondering how secure was the lock on the door. Since the door was so damaged there was a large gap between the door and the frame at the bottom. I stayed for five nights since it was close to the venue for the event I was attending, however the room key would reset every day. In the evening there wasn’t any on site staff so I had to deal with someone on a kiosk.
- 5/5
Always nice and clean
- 5/5
Ease of checking in
- 4/5
Virtual check-in, Ben was great. Room was mostly clean, however vinyl plank floor needs to be mopped/scrubbed clean in rm. 226, as socks and bottom of feet were immediately dirty from walking on. Faucet aerator was awful, and entire faucet mounting loose on counter. Good shower water pressure.
- 1/5
Room was a 2 out of 10 at best, cant rate the staff beacuse i never saw or talked to anyone, check in was a virtual kiosk, bed was horrible, you van feelnevery spring in your back, and the 2 pillows had no filling, alsobpoimding on the top floor, and sidewalls, not toention the hole in AC where you cam see in...blet mark in door, come on kotel 6, you can do better
- 1/5
There was no staff at the front desk they only had a kiosk which was a little hard to understand the person on the other end. He was also trying hard to push me to do a review on the place right at that moment by scanning a code and then ask me several times if I had completed it… I told him I wasn’t going to review a room I had not seen and I’m glad I didn’t because it was disappointing. The room was not the cleanest and we had some roaches make an appearance 👎 Sunday night our key didn’t work to our room and had to go back several time to try and retrieve one that did work! Third time was the charm I guess. I get that you get what you pay for but I would not recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
No staff in office Had to deal with a person from India on a zone computer Horrible situation No call back when we complained the next day
- 1/5
There was no staff on sight, just a kiosk. The room was terrible, no microwave or other amenities. Also old and warn out. We arrived at 1am , neighborhood was uncomfortable.
- 4/5
The room was clean and staff courteous.
- 1/5
There was no hot water roaches all over the place The card kept not letting me in the room
- 3/5
Staff was amazing, great attention and kind people. The only think I hated is there were many little cockroaches everywhere.
- 1/5
While the new check in process was a good experience, the conditions of my room looked nothing like the falsely advertised picture on the site. Also. It felt a little unsafe and sketchy listening to the people walk outside my broken door all night and getting little sleep while having to be at work early the next day. As well as seeming a roach in the room did not make it better. The ceiling was poorly repaired as you could hear the birds walking across. Would not recommend
- 3/5
No fridge, microwave, shampoo or conditioner, small TV with limited cable channels. Clean and bright. A little noisy since close to a main street and woken up early by truck emptying dumpster. But ok for the price.
- 5/5
Graye location
- 1/5
I would usually say "you get what you pay for," but at $100/night, this place is WAY overpriced. First, there's a really weird, dystopian piece of technology in the lobby, where some random Indian dude on a big display screen with a camera attached is asking me if I'm here to check in. Turns out he was actually speaking to me live from another country. REALLY CREEPY AND INCREDIBLY UNNECESSARY!!! Amazing that Motel 6 has the money to spend on something like that, but can't afford to put a cheap coffee maker in the room. Or a tissue box. There wasn't even a tissue box! I had to blow my nose with toilet paper. And the AC cover was taped on, and the tape kept un-sticking and the cover fell onto the bed. And there was no way to work the sink without water spraying everywhere. Oh, and the shower took about 5 minutes to get to the correct pressure and temperature. That's not hyperbole: the shower actually did not work for 5 minutes. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE PLACE and I will never come back.
- 2/5
Bedsheets are stained, pillows flat and deformed. And i was told to pay extra for checking in early which was about already close to 3 pm. Why? You can only find tiny soap, no lotion, shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom.
- 3/5
Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortably
- 3/5
Room was not ready at 3:30pm and was informed won’t be ready for 30 minutes more. We waited for more than an hour and nobody even told us if it was ready until we checked in again at the front desk. Finally, got our room past 5pm.
- 3/5
The key for all us and two others did not work. Manager did come.
- 1/5
Noise outside, no privacy.
- 1/5
Staff was non existent. No amenities
- 1/5
No hot water for over 24 hours. Floor was filthy. Door latch was broken.Terrible stay!
- 1/5
No hot water. Staff was aware and did not mention it prior to taking $ to check in. Then refused a refund. Horrible customer service from "michael" on the kiosk.
- 1/5
Every night except the last night, the door lock didn't work, despite several attempts each night by their hard working manager. One night I couldn't wait to get into my room, and was humiliated by having to go to the bathroom behind the building. There was no maid service over my 6 day stay, and no hot water on the last day. The video based customer service agent refused to make any adjustment for what I went through. Their follow up customer service who called me could not speak any comprehendible English. Save for the overworked motel clerk, this was a disgusting, appalling experience. DO NOT BOOK THERE!!!
- 1/5
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience. There were cockroaches in multiple areas, and the AC was making constant noise. I could also hear loud AC noise coming from the neighboring room. Because of this, I couldn’t sleep well the whole night, which made my next day worse. On the positive side, the motel was quite affordable, which might suit travelers on a tight budget.
- 1/5
Everything was wrong. Didn't have me in right room in the beginning. The bedding had hair and yellow stains on them. The television wasn't working properly. Lots of roaches. I want a full refund for this b.s.
- 1/5
The virtual check in kiosk was a hassle, the representative tried to charge me an extra $10 for my travel companion that was listed on the reservation. The room we were assigned to smelled horribly like smoke and the door looked like it had been pried open. We went to see about a different room, the front desk representative was great. She gave us another room. The key didn’t work when we got to the 2nd room so i had to go back to the office, they gave me another key, which didn’t work either. We went back to the office, she came and let us into the room which smelled even worse than the first one. We were debating on staying, and then we found a dirty towel in the restroom. We went down to the office and she canceled our reservation, but said the reservation was made through Expedia for a different amount than what i paid through hotels.com. I am hoping for a full refund to my card.
- 1/5
They charged me after I cancelled my reservation. Terrible service.
- 2/5
I didn't like the staff of calling me afterwards to ask about my stay.
- 1/5
The first room they put us in the bathroom was filthy. And there was the bathtub was flooded or was almost full. There was a leak. Then, the second room they put us in, had cockroaches in it.We've got pictures of the cockroaches and they said to me, oh yeah. We've been having that problem on the first floor which why that hasn't been shut down or taken care of I have no idea. Then, the third room they put us in was upstairs. The key didn't work.So she had to come upstairs to let us into the room at this point. It's late at night and we have to get up in the morning and travel.Another six hours to get home. So I am not happy at all.I spent a hunt over a hundred dollars on this room to only be have to be put in three different rooms because it was disgusting. We didn't have any choice but to get the hotel we had.Because at that time of night, there's not. There's just not going to be anything for under, you know, a couple hundred bucks and that I just didn't have that.
- 1/5
Video kiosk check in with poor sound quality. My Expedia booking showed two people. Hotel video clerk told me it was a 1 person booking and it was additional ten for second person. I argued the point that my booking showed 2 people and they didn’t charge me. But still, since when did they start charging for extra people. The towels were half sized anyway. Onsite staff was very good and friendly.
- 4/5
All good 👍
- 2/5
Motel 6 was built in and by Americans in America! The room seemed fine fairly updated, then the cockroachs appeared, I killed four, to start! So I then asked the front desk for some bug spray but they couldn't provide any, so I went to the nearest store and purchased some. After spraying the room I woke the next morning to find more dead roaches and ants, 15 total. I have to say it was less than enjoyable
- 5/5
It was great
- 1/5
Lack of competency in the way the business was ran. Nobody knew what they were doing and how they could help me. It was always someone else who wasnt working. We charged undisclosed fees when we arrived. Even after calling to inform the jotel we would be late and them agreeing that we were fine and had nothing to worry about they marked the room as a no show and cancelled our reservation for the second room. The rooms were way smallerthan pictured! Very deceiving!
- 4/5
Out of all the Motel 6's we have been to this was definitely the cleanest one. All 3 of the staff members we saw were quite friendly. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.
- 1/5
Checked in with a guy in another country video calling from a kiosk, while an actual human emoloyee hides behind the counter to avoid making this simpler. They tried to charge $10 extra for the 2nd person, even though my reservation was for 2 & your own policy stares that the base for that room is 2 guests. The room smelled like pure cleaning chemicals, could not breathe at all. And the "beds" are similar to but less comfy than jail beds. Hard mattress, cheap metal frame, terrible location & staff (on-site and off). Never going to ANY motel 6 again.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 2/5
Drain in sink did not work and plugged up
- 5/5
Yes great room updated appliance great stay
- 4/5
Room was okay. Hot shower (no shampoo) and a comfy bed. It fit my budget and I slept well.
- 4/5
Comfortable and courteous service.
- 4/5
There is no shampoo in the room.
- 3/5
The young lady who assisted me with checking in was great. I was unable to get into the room and had to be escorted into the room. Then I had to be assisted by the kiosk agent to get a working key. It was a convenient location but a hassle to get situated.
- 1/5
They force you to use a kiosk when checking in even though there's a real person there. I prepaid for my room and they tried to tell me I had to pay more money for an upgrade cuz the room wasn't available that I booked. I finally got into a room the cable TV didn't work and the room didn't have heat it was cold
- 3/5
At check-in as I entered the lobby. There was a costumer in front of me. When my daughter and her boyfriend brought to my attention that there was a FaceTime costumer association trying to get my attention. Me being hard of hearing even with hearing aids couldn’t hear her in this very small space lobby and the other associate talking with the other customer. I tried reading the conversation being typed out as every one is talking and being transcribed on the screen at the same time!
- 5/5
Room was clean and warm workers were very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Not bad
- 1/5
When I first opened the door to the room, I saw a bunch (maybe 10 or so) cockroches scamper away! I ended up killing about a hundred throughout my ONE NIGHT stay! I’ve been to budget hotels all over the country and have NEVER had an experience like this! I felt gross the whole time.
- 1/5
When I got to my room it was dirty and used. The bed was not made. It was disgusting! They gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned at all from the last guests. I took pictures.
- 4/5
Facility was amazing, however, the digital remote headset camera surveillance touchscreen check-in was a bit unsettling
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff were awesome.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 1/5
The booking claimed amenities of a soda machine and ice machine. There are in fact 0 amenities. The beds are worse than a pull out couch and you can feel the bars between you and the barely there mattress. The rates dramatically increased from what was posted on Expedia. After this, i would rather stay somewhere with at least the bare amenities and a real mattress.
- 4/5
Easy parking and lots of places to eat nearby
- 2/5
Yes
- 3/5
Kill roaches , fix shower cartridges and prep rooms better and caulk all holes from previous repairs
- 2/5
The room was awful. It looked nothing like the picture advertised. There was no closet or any storage for clothes. The bathroom was an open tiled floor with a shower. The sink was almost detached. I checked out early and did not even stay the night. The space was tiny and unattractive. I guess that’s what I should have expected for the price. But I don’t think I will ever stay at a Motel6 again.

I checked in on Saturday night the 22nd and was not informed of the cities parking mandate in which you are not allowed to park your vehicle back first against their parking wall. I was in fact told by the attendant who checked me in that I could park on that side of the Motel when I asked her where to park. She mentioned nothing of that mandate, nor did she provide a parking pass which was apparently to be placed visibly on the dash of the vehicle. As a result, my vehicle was towed during the hours of 11pm Saturday night and 8:00AM Sunday morning the 23rd. I was informed of what happened by another hotel visitor who mentioned that happens a bit. I had to take a Lyft to my vehicle and pay $155 to get it back in my possession. When I checked out, I informed the staff of this and was treated rudely by attendant there. I have more to say and will be filing a complaint with Motel 6 and take further action.
- 3/5
Communication with the assistant site manager was good. Room was small for 2 doubles, heater had a foul odour when turned on. Bathroom was covered in dog fur. Had to go next door to circle K for ice. Popeye's two doors down ultimately save my day on check in, because we'd been to Dino's Get Down earlier that day and experienced a horrible locksmith on the phone with West Valley when I had locked my keys in the car. Luckily, I called Anderson's locksmith got us in! Would have been nice to have a fridge.
- 4/5
None.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 2/5
Air conditioner wasn’t installed properly and blew black dust around the room
- 1/5
Room was disgusting, floor was sticky and walls were yellowing when I checked in. On of the Night staff called us at 11pm and threatened to call the police when we had told him we were asleep since 9pm. Pretty ridiculous. Idk how others have rated this place so high. I checked out a night early because it was so bad
- 4/5
Room was good, clean. But there is no laundry for the guests.
- 5/5
I was absolutely shocked by how nice the room was for a Motel 6. It was clean, and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The only thing wrong was that the TV didn't work but we really just got the room to sleep in for a long layover and didn't trouble shoot the issue.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Rude staff and unhygienic rooms
- 1/5
We ended up not staying here. There was a shoe print on the pillow, and lots of hair all over the bed. It was really gross. The door looked like it had been kicked in before and the area overall seemed sketchy. Front desk was understanding that we didn’t stay past 20 minutes from checking in.
- 1/5
Probably the worst place I’ve stayed at. I didn’t even stay the whole night. Dirty. Noisy. Staff was rude
- 5/5
Shout out to Stephanie! She assisted me with a complication with courtesy and professionalism. Thank you!
- 5/5
Very accommodating! Thank you!
- 1/5
Dirty room, towels were dirty. Leftover forks in floor
- 4/5
Great location, friendly staff.
- 1/5
Room had hair on towels and bedding as well as a ton of roaches all over the room. Didn’t stay went back to front desk and got a refund
- 3/5
I really like that my dogs stay for free. The room did not have a microwave or a mini fridge. The TV had a deep scratch on it and was not loud. It’s a great bargain for traveling with pets.
- 4/5
Lots of places to eat right by hotel.
- 2/5
What motel 6 doesn't have coffee in the morning, this 1 and no ice machine told to go next door to the gas station
- 3/5
Low water pressure in the shower.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
They had roaches
- 5/5
Good relation between price and quality
- 5/5
Ashley at the front desk always goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is enjoyable. She provides excellent customer service and definitely deserves to be recognized. Other than that the location is great and the neighborhood is quiet considering it is on a busy road.
- 4/5
Not a safe area for guests with young kids.
- 4/5
The female office attendie had a bit of an attitude, whistling while I was trying to communicate..
- 1/5
Didn’t even get to stay here. Waited for someone at front desk for 45 mins and no one ever came.

Safe and clean
- 2/5
Too much weed smell. No toiletries other than soap.
- 1/5
This place is not what I remembered it being.
- 5/5
The area is great, several yummy restaurants within walking distance, not far from Tempe Museum, Kiwanis Park, the library, Arizona Mills shopping mall and IMAX theater, and of course, ASU and ASU stadium is very close by. Whether it’s a quick business trip, vacation with friends or family, or an extended stay situation, I recommend this place for a safe, convenient and comfortable option that’s half the cost of many other places in the area. It’s not fancy or extravagant, for sure. But if you don’t mind no-frills, it’s a clean, comfy stay, quality staff, and an overall super value for your money.
- 3/5
It's ok
- 2/5
Not impressed. Small rooms and placed was dirty
- 1/5
Do NOT stay here, the air conditioning is broken- it screams and then turns off, doesn’t cool at all. The walls and floors were disgusting, had brown smears on them. There were large gaps between the door and the frame, very unsafe.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly helpful staff love it here
- 5/5
My room was very clean and it in a great location for all the events that I attended. Thank you very much.
- 1/5
Too old, sloppy updated rooms dirty no amenities no shampoo old very old sheets and towels very ruff staff are live in staff live in the motel handle front desk housekeeping room turn over it seems like the owners are very careless cheap and customers opinions doesn't bother them this motel in my opinions should be demolished and built a new hotel in place or they should update it from scratch everything needs to get replaced doors windows widow carton blinds toilet shower carpet beds mattress all sheets and blankets and towels door jams frame and locks, all they did is a cheap flooring and an ugly sloppy paint. I dont recommend this motel 6 to anyone. Beds were itchy maybe bedbugs.
- 3/5
Found a huge cockroach in the room. Husband had to kill it.
- 2/5
Good place. Staff helpful and friendly

My key doesn’t work but no one was in lobby for one hour and locked out and wait for one hour it’s crazy
- 3/5
Lots of things to do really close by and staff was always delightful! Unfortunately my room did flood due to rain and the front door not having a weather seal, and the curtains were falling off the rail a bit.

- 1/5
I could not get into my room when I checked in due to the card machine not working , Iwas not notified prior although I was told it had been broken since the morning then I was given a room that the door was wide open and dirty being occupied by a homeless person, so I had to be moved to another room with dirty blankets full if hair, no refrigerator or microwave like I was told I would get, the two black ladies during the second shift and the overnight were the most helpful and courteous out of everyone.
- 3/5
The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy and in bad condition.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Ashley and Sam were awesome
- 5/5

- 2/5
Wifi not working and no breakfast as advertised by hotel
- 3/5
They will except cash the is only a junk food neaŕby.

Homeless
- 5/5
The place was good. It had access to nearly everything I wanted including transportation to the workshop venue. There were nice restaurants close by and grocery store was just within 5minute walk from the building.
- 3/5
Nothing unique about the property, amenities aren’t so convenient, AC’s are either obnoxiously loud or broken, plumbing is terrible, sink & toilets back up + roaches and uncleaned messes from previous customers.
- 2/5
I also needed to get into the lobby several times when only to find it was locked and no one would answer the phone. Office staff was unavailable to give me access to my room because the key card could not be recognized at least 3 times during my stay, causing me to contact corporate to help. Corporate office could not reach them after several attempts.
- 3/5
Beds it's. Motel 6 you get what you paid for it
- 1/5
They know it already
- 4/5

Killed 7 roaches before deciding to just sleep in my van instead. The room itself was clean and tidy, the soap they provide, the shower, she sheets, all relatively good. But i couldnt sleep inside knowing i was probably going to have these roaches all over me while i slept. Gross. Please fumigate this place.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
The general manager, Veronica was the reason we left. She couldn't have been more condescending, rude and mean. She can cross her arms and roll her eyes at someone else! Her staff member messed up bad and she disciplined us! Your front desk clerk, Kathleen Coats was so outraged watching the way we were treated that she even called to apologize after we left! She was so kind and professional. You need a general manager like her!
- 1/5
Veronica, the general manager was the rudest, meanest person Ive met in my life, crossing her arms, rolling her eyes, awful. I will be sure to review on every site possible. Kathleen, the front desk clerk should be the general manager or find another job. Motel 6 doesnt deserve her great customer service, compassion and professionalism!
- 1/5
Room was infested by piss ants and the manager didn't do anything about it. No free night all she did was discounted the extention of rooms and put us in a room with 2 beds but toilet isn't attached to the foundation
- 3/5
Friendly front desk lady and the housekeepers. No problems with my stay. The room did not have a fridge, though. The room was clean and the bad was comfortable for me.
- 1/5
Janice at the front desk was very nice. Housekeeping did not visit the room once in my 7-day stay. Television never worked. Cockroaches in the room. Anytime you left the room you had to go back to the front desk to reprogram the key— it never worked.
- 5/5
Very nice employees!
- 5/5
The customer service was great!
- 1/5
Never in my life have I stayed at a more disgusting, bug infested, and god awfully run/managed hotel than this Motel 6 in Tempe. Shoes stuck to the floor when you walked across it, must not have ever been cleaned or mopped. Front desk refused to provide new linens for me to change them, since they also refused to change the sheets and towels themselves. The bathroom was something straight out of a horror film, and had this putrid odor emitting from it the very second you enter the room upon check in. I was woken up 4 separate times to roaches crawling over my body and face in the middle of the night. When bringing up issues to staff (of which, had a cumulative IQ that hovers around average room temperature), they immediately got angry and short tempered that a guest would request anything from them. Extremely unprofessional staff, probably hooked on drugs/alcohol and just wanted to be left alone to enjoy their buzz/high. Just a very bizarre establishment, and anyone with any self respect should steer clear of this location. Ceaseless tweakers and prostitutes lingering outside of your door 24/7, begging you for money, was the icing on the cake. Honestly, sleeping on the street would have been a better option. Do not recommend.
- 4/5
It started out ok, but the neighbor was drunk and belligerent and nearly provoked a fight with several people minding their own business. After calling the front desk, the people were promptly ejected from the place. What a relief! Later, we noticed police vehicles coming in and out at all hours and that was a turn off. The way they creep around, it makes one feel like they must deserve it.
- 3/5
Okay parking
- 2/5
Air conditioner didn’t work. I had to switch rooms had to go upstairs, which is very hard for me to do then that room air conditioner worked but it wasn’t that cold and it was Arizona heat but the Customer Service lady was nice.
- 4/5
Stephanie the front desk staff member was very nice and helped me check in and extend my stay as needed. Thank you
- 5/5
Very accommodating to my needs.
- 4/5
Room is clean...staff are friendly..
- 1/5
We ultimately did not stay at this property after changing rooms 3 times, all of which had an issue. The most egregious being the cockroaches. The front desk said they would issue a refund.
- 4/5
Our room's air conditioner is making a lot of noise as if it isn't working ok
- 5/5
You get what you pay for.
- 4/5
For a motel it wasn’t bad. Check in was easy. The room was clean and the surrounding area was quiet. The staff were polite. There are restaurants, Walgreens and a gas station in the area.
- 4/5
My TV and phone did not work. The room condition was very nice. The shower pressure was great.
- 1/5
room 109 was absolutely disgusting. long hair on the bed. ima. dude i have short hair. bathroom was filthy. looked like it wasn’t clean. there were shoe marks in the bathroom. i checked in dropped my stuff off. went to do some shopping and dinner for a few hours. came back to shower and noticed how it was disgusting. there was a dog next room over and it kept barking non stop. the room itself was gross. the front desk lady was super nice and offered a new. told her no experience was awful.
- 1/5
Plumbing didnt work noisy thin walls will not be visiting again

In my 4 Night stay room service never cleaned our change sheets or trash. They just gave big trash bag and asked to clean our self. So no thanku .i don't recommend with kid's.

Management is super helpful help me check in early free of charge instead of the 25$ fee
- 3/5
for the most part, front desk staff are good, nice and capable ;there's 1 employee [turns out is a 'manager',who i asked for floor to be swept and mopped, and there was also a white truck with CA license plate parked so close to my driver side [am disabled senior Veteran] which made it extremely dificult to enter my vehicle. The truck was parked in reverse and had NO Motel6 Parking tag on its driver side windhield. The elder 'manager'[who REFUSED to give me her name upon my asking; i didnt know she is a manager@time of my request to PLEASE have flooring swept&mopped, & do something about apparent unauthorized truck parked in reverse [and inhibiting entry into my vehicle]. i had business to attend to that morning, and due to dificulties entering my vehicle,i was late for business commitments i was expected to be at. This 'manager' walked away from me [UNprofesional AND rude!] and was suddenly on a phone call, instead of managing truck problem. She said cleaning isnt done 'til 3 days AFTER. When i got back to room, floor was not swept or mopped,so i used towels to wipe dirty flooring, and clean counters, icky phone, tv remote, etc. Its obvious this Motel6 fails to enforce their own policies: During check-in i was instructed NO parking in reverse AND MUST display Motel6 ticket on driver side windshield when parked on this Motel6 property,or risk vehicle tow. Bathtub is slippery and i nearly fell down!! i used towel as 'bathtub mat'.*my star ratings include 'tattooed manager' attitude.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 5, 2025, when we were returning to our room. What we found was that the janitor never came to my room to do the cleaning and exchange the bath towels. As a matter of fact, we specifically asked the front desk to change the bath towels before we left the motel in the morning of May 5. Therefore, we sought assistance from the front desk staff. However, without thoroughly understanding the situation, the manager (Stephanie) came emotionally agitated and loudly reprimanded us. Her language was filled with impatience and accusations, completely lacking the professionalism and service awareness expected in the hospitality industry. Her actions not only embarrassed and humiliated us but also drew the attention of other guests nearby, severely impacting the hotel's overall image. What was even more unacceptable was that during the reprimand, Stephanie repeatedly pointed her finger at us, making aggressive gestures.

a low budget hotel, nice and quiet. worked fine for an overnight stay. easy trip to the airport the next morning.

Dirty counters, ice machine broken so I was told the next day I could get
- 5/5
Loved it
- 3/5
They didn't have an ice maker on the property and requested that if needed, ice could be obtained at the convenience store next door. I didn't realize that a standard room didn't come with a simple bar fridge. If you're okay with sleeping on a cot for a bed.
- 3/5
at check in was given a parking pass, everything on it was highlighted in purple, i glanced thru it BUT was not made aware that there was no back in parking. In the morning i had a warning attached tom my window placed at 11:30pm I could be towed for the violation. They should have emphasized that at check in. In the morning the person said I should be lucky i wasn't towed. Wont stay there again

Renovated property that's next to some restaurants. Very quiet and great staff
- 1/5
The room was really dirty. We found an old razor and a bunch of trash. The beds were clearly not clean. We found wrappers in the sheets and found dirt in the sheets. The housekeeping never cleaned our room. We had to go get our own clean towels as well. This place sucked
- 3/5
The TV had no signal despite saying it had cable. Toilet seat was so loose you couldn't even sit on it. Mattress was very thin and not very comfortable. Only 2 thin pillows. Very dated.
- 1/5
Very poor bed. Worst I’ve ever been in. It was like a 1950 mattress with a spring. Sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. The hand basin faucet was not secured to the vanity and the faucet itself was missing the aerator. Water came out like bullet splattering everywhere. Exhausted from driving so didn’t try to change rooms. I paid way too much for the condition of the room

I checked in and was given a room. The door would not open and I was give an adjacent room to be moved. I was never moved. My room was filthy with hair on the sheets and bath tub. I asked for the room to be cleaned and it never was in three days. I saw the cleaners at other rooms just never my own. To end it off I saw a cockroach the last night
- 5/5
I just needed an easy, affordable, and safe place to stay. It was quick and simple without a ton of extra fees and charges. Stephanie was great getting me an early check in, without over charging me. Worked great for what I needed.
- 1/5
Otherwise, staff are very friendly, it's located in a nice area with plenty of things to do, and the office is open 24/7 should there be any reason to contact staff.
- 3/5
What you would expect for the price
- 3/5
The pictures are not the same as the hotel room. While the beds and the desks, along with the tv were the same as the shown pictures, the bathroom was not the same. The pictures show a tub, and a more modern look. That was not the case, for the room i had the bathroom was poor, and the shower water leaks out since there is no door or tub, just an open area with a short wall extending out for the shower.
- 5/5
It was a good experience
- 2/5
Very dirty
- 5/5
Terry at the front desk was amazing. Fixed any tiny issues and very friendly...wonderful
- 4/5
Still a little sketchy as far as the area, but good for a quick stay! Downtown and the Tempe beach park are cheap to uber/lyft and circle k and taco shop across the street are super convenient for those who come back to the room super late!

Greeat motel 6
- 2/5
Bathroom door falling off the hinges, had to push it up to make it close. Hard, uncomfortable beds. Front door had gaps to the outside so light shone through in several places.
- 5/5
Enjoyed staying here to clean comfortable the staff was accommodating
- 1/5
Customer service at the desk. Not helpful or friendly. Rooms dirty.
- 2/5
It smells terrible, the pillows were so small as to be unusable, the towels hurt to use, and it’s insanely loud in the room.
- 3/5
Was ok for the price
- 2/5
Bed was very poor. Overall quality of the room was low compared to the price of well over $100 USD per night. Staff tried to help but didn't have alternatives.
- 1/5
The picture in the ad was misleading. The room did not look like that. Bed was lumpy & the door luck was lose. Room did not feel safe .
- 4/5
Great staff
- 1/5
Between the boxsprings for beds, roaches running across the floor to the dead person we had to walk over to get out of our room i can't choose the worst part of this stay
- 3/5
The floor could have been mopped better. My white socks will never be the same but the friendly staff made up for it.
- 1/5
I had booked this property for a two day trip, I knew I wasn’t booking a nice hotel so I wasn’t picky but was shocked with what I saw. Walked into my room and there were stains covering the entire bed and hair in the blankets. The bathrooms were fine, smelled like cigarettes but again I understand it’s a motel 6. Went downstairs to ask for a new room or a refund because of how gross the bed was and instantly was given one. The cleaner came in and was being yelled at and quit all in front of me. Shocking experience
- 2/5
Yuck, small and dirty
- 2/5
This place is a total dive and an embarrassment to the brand. AC unit super loud. Mattress had springs I could feel and was super uncomfortable; there were also yellow stains on the white bedspread. No dressers, just shelves. Bathroom faucet had an errant stream that sprayed things on the sink counter. Pipe below sink was leaky. One bar of soap provided. Coffee in the lobby was weak. My colleague stayed at the Motel 6 on Camelback and said it was much better.
- 3/5
However, there were a couple of cleanliness issues that detracted from the experience. The remote control was dirty, with gunk on the back and missing the battery cover. While staff acknowledged the issue, they didn't have a replacement. Additionally, there was a noticeable brown streak on the ceiling above the toilet in the bathroom. The hot water for the showers was excellent, which was appreciated. While our stay was ultimately okay, we ended up leaving a bit early due to a change in our plans. Honestly, the cleanliness issues, particularly the remote and the mark in the bathroom, would likely make me choose a different hotel next time. While the price and location are good, those cleanliness concerns are important.
- 1/5
Absolutely filthy and I have stayed at a Motel 6 before! Walls had spills/blood splatter. Hairs on every towel. Door was falling off the hinges.
- 2/5
The bed is uncomfortable. Plastic covers on the mattress, noisy crinkles under the thin sheets. Thin, tiny towels. Electric outlets not working except for the one the fridge and microwave were plugged in. Lighting harsh. My family had a room with no shower head. The water was spraying out of the sink faucet with force. Would not recommend.
- 1/5
First room was filthy and loaded with cockroaches and noisy people above me. Then next day second room was smaller less amenities and had a ac/heater unit full of glass so couldn’t use it. And even more noisy people above and outside all night. Didn’t sleep here that much. Be prepared the staff is not that helpful. And no compensation is offered except for “ I’m sorry “ oh and if room tag says Rosa cleaned it’s definitely dirty.
- 5/5
Good staff.

All kinds of noise and doors slamming . When I came outside in the AM there was even vomit outside my door That was not there when I went in my room
- 5/5
It was a great experience. Lady at front desk was very helpful and even arranged to make sure we were satisfied with our room.
- 5/5
Last minute booking, so grateful. They were very helpful.

Bugs in the room
- 5/5
Good stay, clean rooms
- 3/5
The blankets were stained, sink was loose and the bed felt like it was from a civil war internment camp.
- 2/5
I didn’t like the cleaning standards in general.
- 1/5
Horrible.....bed is a joke. Door has huge gap under it had to get extra towels front desk to seal it up, since there are no extra towels what so ever. No shampoo its for sale at front desk. No ice machine either, was told to take bucket to Circle K next door to get ice.TV remote doesn't work. Microwave had some kind of multiple times nuked food under the base plate. No refrigerator, which i had cooler but with the ice thing, seriously? Toilet seat stripped and falling off. Air conditioning unit cover fell off middle night, and then made whining noises afterwards had to turn off while in the room. Didnt ask for maintenance to fix as seen him at office while asking about door gap issues, surely wasn't going have him rummaging through room with my stuff. Can without a doubt say will NEVER be staying at any Motel 6 again.
- 2/5
only one key worked once we got our room.. office was tiny and dirty. sheets had stains on them. we will never give them our business again....if we had time to find another option we would have just left and got a refund....like the people in front of us did at check in.
- 2/5
It was a plain room which was exactly what I wanted. However I had the second floor and there is no elevator. I like to hookup my firestick to the TV to watch but was unable as the remote didn't allow source selection. For a basic place to sleep it fine.
- 2/5
My bed was very squeaky and there wasn't a trash can in my room at all. No lotion or shampoo in the room. I know Motel 6 can do better than this. I can't recommend this location to any of my friends.
- 4/5
Clean and near convenient locations. Can be noisy in the nights outside. Building walls not so thick, you can hear another’s rooms noises. Good for the price.
- 2/5
Constant banging on the walls, ceiling at all hours of the night
- 5/5
Service was awesome!!! Very helpful as well
- 1/5
If you dont want to sleep and you like bed bugs and the good old fashioned mexican walking in front of your door with a lief blowing machine a couple hours before check-out instead of a broom, then this is the place for you. Housekeeping will beat on you door at 10 or 10:30 no need for a wake up call. A miniature prison is what it was like were my thoughts. The sink handle fell off , someone's room was broke into the door was being constructed by maintenance at 8am for two days, a never ending project in the projects of Tempe. Drug dealers squatting in almost all the rooms so many trashy people going and coming getting dope , if you look out yor window you can watch the homeless do their drugs on the sidewalk of the gas station
- 1/5
Bed was all springs and liud
- 2/5
The room had cockroaches, the bath was dirty and the manager of the motel 6 was very rude and dismissive
- 1/5
This Hotel had terrible service and it was absolutely disgusting I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a family trip
- 5/5
I like that place very very friendly the stuff people except one 👎
- 4/5
The room was clean, the shower worked well. It was small, but worked well for an overnight stay. Was happy to have fridge and microwave.
- 4/5
They upgraded my room at no charge and it was nice and clean
- 1/5
When I arrived, the room was in an unacceptable condition. The bathroom faucet was broken, the air conditioning didn’t work, and there were cockroaches throughout the room. To make things worse, the bathtub was completely clogged and unusable. It was clear that the room had not been properly prepared or cleaned before my arrival. The noise level was absolutely unbearable. People were shouting and yelling all night, making it impossible to get any rest. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk, the staff did nothing to address the problem. Eventually, the situation escalated to the point where I had no choice but to call the police. What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of care or action from the hotel management. I’ve stayed in many hotels for business and leisure, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. The combination of the unclean room, broken amenities, infestation of cockroaches, and extreme noise made this stay unbearable. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to stay away. It’s not worth the stress, discomfort, or frustration. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Avoid this place at all costs.
- 3/5
Baby roaches, toilet seat was used, unclean. Stain on pillow case.
- 1/5
Many homeless people live here. Pass.
- 3/5
Rooms look recently refurbished and bed was comfortable. Exterior could use some work but to be fair, I've never seen a "really nice" Motel 6. There were some shady guests and apparently homeless in the area. Okay place for overnight but I wouldn't lodge here on an extended stay.
- 1/5
I was moved 2 times and both rooms were in poor condition. I would like a refund and the customer service was terrible. THe first room I stayed in the sink pipes leaked so I got water all over the floor. The room the moved me to the TV did not work at all.

Thank you

Every staff member greeted me and my family with a smile and were helpful with everything that was asked of them! They all deserve a raise!

The worst stay
- 4/5
The first room was nice and clean. Booked another night, had to move to a different room which wasn't as nice and didn't have all the amenities as the first room. It was small and AC didn't work as good. But it was clean at least and staff was great.
- 1/5
I understand it’s just Motel 6, but this was the scariest place I’ve ever stayed. This is not just a hotel, they house dangerous people here. The police raided the unit above me and even threw a flash bang in there. The rooms are literally stained with cigarette scent. Do not stay here, you are better off sleeping on a bus bench… it’s horrific here.
- 3/5
Was counting on pool but pool was closed for cleaning
- 1/5
bed had dirty bedding with bugs and neighbors were loud and sketchy
- 1/5
Roaches everywhere. AC was falling apart and barely worked and they moved us rooms already. Toilet upstairs was leaking through the light on the ceiling
- 1/5
Roaches in the room. There was a HUGE one on the wall as soon as we walked in, water leaking from the upstairs bathroom. Barely any tv channels worked I’m glad I brought my laptop. Even the woman at the front desk was saying how bad this place was but we wanted to give it a chance. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable.
- 2/5
The AC didn't cool the room sufficiently, and there was no refrigerator in the room. I'm disabled and have difficulty walking and they put me on the second floor with lots of stairs to navigate. It was hot in the room and location was inconvenient for my disability.
- 5/5
I love it her for my moms.

The sheets were dirty, stains on the floor and the faucet would spill over onto the counter when you turn it on.

Love the location and very nice staff
- 4/5
Up from what it used to be. I'll stay again.
- 5/5
Quiet, safe, with a circle k next door for snacks, and was very clean. A
- 2/5
Poor customer service interactions at the front desk, loud days due to construction on site, no bath towels for shower and unsafe environment to walk around outside before nine and at night after six make this a place I won’t stay again. It’s a good location though!
- 3/5
The room was super tiny, with an antennae TV and no refrigerator. The door was stuck and difficult to open and I was nervous about getting it open the next day. I was happy to have a microwave, anyway. The bed was fine, the a/c worked
- 3/5
From reading the reviews before booking a stay here, I guess I got one of the renovated rooms. The room looked new and clean. The only issue I came up with was that we were not supplied with shampoo. When I went to the front office to ask for shampoo, it seemed there was a very limited supply. I don't think this is acceptable given the amount we paid to stay here. From the reviews, it seems like the basics need to be sorted out by higher management.
- 1/5
They failed to clean my room on the second day and I told him and then on the third date just nothing they never cleaned the room. All you need is a bed then this very cheap motels is what you’ll get and nothing more
- 3/5
Beds were below average and electrical outlets were across the room. No extension cord available so we had to move the room around
- 2/5
Service. Excuses. Description
- 2/5
The first room was filthy. They gave us a new one. It was small, simple and clean, no fridge, which was fine because we just needed for the one night as we traveled through. Looked like there were 2 people having sex outside in the middle of the night. Families should look elsewhere for lodging.
