Breakfest and staff was great!

I always appreciate a complimentary hot breakfast included in the price of my room. This hotel had a plentiful spread with scrambled eggs, hot sausage patties, maybe hot potatoes, waffles with all the trimmings, bread for toast, cereals, yoghurt, several juices. Very nice.

Stayed for a night, the check in was quick. Loved the spacious room and breakfast which was delicious.

The room was clean and the staff were kind.

Air conditioning system was loud and the lobby had an odd smell.

While this was not my favorite Embassy Suites, it was clean. It is close to the highway so it's a bit noisy and some things need to be updated like the bathroom and the chairs in the common areas. Just don't look at the bathroom nightlight lit up because it's filled with dead bugs!

Great location on Hwy 60. We had a great visit. A little pricey for a dated hotel. Hope they make some renovations. Customer service was great!

I enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona. The front desk and housekeeping staff was very understanding about my ambitious kitty who wanted to dart out if door open. They respected not coming in and gave us clean towels when asked as we handed them our used towels. The week spending there was well spent going to our grandkids graduations. Oh the breakfast buffet was excellent and the servers staff was very friendly and kept the tables clean. I would recommend this place to visit again, which might happen, because we have other graduations coming up next year in Arizona.

The bed and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I booked a room with a “pool view” but the only way I was viewing the pool was going out on the balcony and leaning all the way over to see it in the distance. Oh and TVs aren’t connected to WiFi so you only get like 30 cable channels.

Didn’t have our room. Said booking 3rd party didn’t guarantee it. Tried to put 3 of us in a room with one bed. Thought it would be convenient because our son was receiving an award there but we weee very disappointed with the property, the staff and the room.

Oh the breakfast made up for the sleepless night for sure! THIS RUN DOWN PROPERTY SHOULD NOT CARRY THE NAME OF A HILTON!!!! It's not just old but it's rundown and unkept. If we didn't prepay or needed to stay longer than a day we would have immediately relocated to a better Hilton or another brand of hotels. - Rusty Shower & Tub - Dirt/Ring stains in the tub - Leaky tub faucet (water ran all night) - Hard spring bed - Stained sheets - Dirty carpet - Shower gel, hand soap, lotion smells like bug spray!!! Hilton is known for its great complimentary toiletries. - Old crunchy pullout mattress blanket

Great staff, great breakfast. Clean and updated room. Only bit of criticism would be the outdoor stairwells need cleaning or power washing. Dirty, stained, and foul smelling.

Jason and others were great for supportive questions, the only downside I saw during about a week long stay was the pool towels were more child sized than adult sized.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were clean as well as the exterior of building! Breakfast was delicious! Good Air conditioning in room, for the hot weather in Arizona! Maybe work on some better drink choices for Happy Hour, but all in all we enjoyed this Hotel!

Nice clean room breakfast was good the afternoon reception was decent I’m use to 4 drinks that I’ve received at other Embassy Suites but it was fine. The set up of this particular Embassy Suites was a little different it gave apartment settings but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The only thing that I had a problem with was the toilet pressure it just wasn’t enough.

Ms. JACKIE AT THE FRONT DESK WAS AMAZING AND FRIENDLY. THE FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS. ROOM WAS CLEAN BUT THE BESSING WAS ITCHY.

Accommodations well maintained and clean, staff welcoming and friendly, good breakfast with nice variety available. 15 min drive to airport making it convenient for us! Would definitely recommend and give it 5 stars!!

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly, and we were well taken care of. The room was very nice, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed the large variety of the breakfast menu and the nice outdoor seating. We felt very safe and comfortable.

The room was very outdated. The pool was very dirty. The breakfast was ok, it would be nice to have more than one chef to make omelets because the line was quite long. Please consider having some meat that isnt pork, ALL the meats were pork. All the staff were pleasant.

The room we had. The tub was filling up with water and wouldn't drain until finished with showering. One of the lamps was working in our room. Isn't housekeeping suppose to double checks the lights while cleaning.

Probably the best breakfast buffet of any hotel I have stayed at.

My stay was wonderful unfortunately I over slept a little bit and was not able to enjoy the breakfast but I'm sure it would have been the cherry on top no complaints staff was amazing 10/10 would highly recommend and will be a returning guest thank you so much

The bartender, Lacey, was very unwelcoming from the start. Her tone and mannerisms toward us felt rude and dismissive, which made us uncomfortable. What stood out even more was that she appeared warm and friendly with other guests at the bar, while we were treated very differently. As the only guests of our ethnicity at the bar, the contrast in how we were treated made us feel singled out and unwelcome. Because of this, we chose to leave after about 10 minutes instead of staying to celebrate our special occasion. We were really looking forward to enjoying our anniversary here, so this experience was disappointing.

A shared balcony was never explained and traveling by myself, it felt very unsafe. Breakfast was a nice value added amenity.

The shower faucet did not work upon arrival, and we waited over an hour for assistance. Even after it was “fixed,” it wouldn’t shut off properly, leaving a constant dripping noise all night for two days. When we requested additional towels after using the pool, we were given what appeared to be floor towels instead of proper bath towels, which felt disrespectful and unacceptable. There was also broken glass on the grass outside our room, creating a serious safety hazard, especially for children. When I raised these issues at checkout, the only follow-up I received was an email trying to sell me points. No real apology, no accountability. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was good Right off the free way our room was terrible we herd traffic all night, sheets felt like sandpaper and a full size bed isn’t big enough for two adults , our room smelt like a swamp and smoke there was mud or something on the bathroom floor when we arrived , bathroom sink was plugged and the outlets didn’t work by the bed and the tv channels were terrible

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The outlet was not working so couldn’t use the microwave. After they cleaned they didn’t replenish wash cloths, coffee or cups. The pool was dirty so we didn’t get in which was very disappointing. We were really looking forward to pool time.

There was a night time security guard who was great. I saw him changing trash cans, walking the halls and even bringing sheets up to rooms when the front desk clerk got extremely busy.

Nice clean room, breakfast was typical for a continental, nice quiet area and very kind & helpful staff. The pool area was cute & clean. Housekeeping was in our room while we were gone which has never happened to me before therefore my husband threw out our alcoholic beverage for safety concerns.

I have never stayed at Embassy like this it’s more like a motel lower quality. Needs serious renovations

On Sunday, the pool pump was not running. The pool bottom needed to be vacuumed. I addressed my concerns with the front desk. Monday morning everything seemed to be back in order the skimmers were skimming, and the pool floor was vacuumed.

This once great hotel has gone down to a less than an average place to stay. The cost to stay remains very high even though it is run down. The rooms are outdated. Furniture is old, worn out, and mismatched. The ceilings are cracked. HVAC system vents are filthy with dirt and dust. Toilets are very slow. Internet went in and out. We won't be staying there again. Very dissapointing.

Decent hotel with the amenities you'll need, and it isn't too far from local attractions. The staff is nice and accommodating, the room was clean, and the included breakfast was sufficient to get the day started. Overall, we had a good experience.

It's a bit dated but that's no problem.

The heater was blowing cold air and we had to call maintenance. All of the chairs in the dining room and restaurant are frayed and in need of replacement, looks really tacky, even staff acknowledges that this is a problem and that upper management is more concerned about profit than how the facility appears for guests. Although pleasant and friendly, the desk staff lacks knowledge about what there is to do in the Phoenix/Tempe area, which shows a lack of basic training in hospitality services. When we asked, there were 2 people on duty and the only thing either could come up with was to direct us to a shopping mall. This is less than impressive service.

And with that move, I was promptly relegated (seeminly as punishment for using a 3rd party app) to a poorly-lit annex of outbuildings and outdoor hallways lit by flickering fluorescent lights located in the far nether areas of the already oddly designed property. I'm sure back in its heyday it was the ultimate in solidly middle class upscale lodging options in, say, the late 80s or 90s. Those days, sadly, are gone. An yet, though now simply neglected and left rather unapologetically to decay, one can still enjoy a surprisinly nice evening reception with some solid complimentaries, and a decent made-to-order omelet for breakfast if you are so inclined. However, this only partially balanced out the dated rooms and property writ large. Yhe pool: meh. Torn pool umbrelladThe price point I found to be acceptable - barely - but only because of the extra food which is of better quality than, say, a Holiday Inn Express. I wouldn't say I'd never stay here again, but their price point only makes this a par to sub par property and just a middling value proposition in my opinion. Room had construction people in there and we were told to come back late evening to see if it would be ready. Dried puke was all down the side of the one bed and on the floor. We told them but nothing was done. Paid for 2 room suite for 5 people and never had enough towels for everyone. Also, We weren’t told the weekday breakfast hours were different than weekends so we missed one meal we paid for! (Omelette station was excellent and fresh fruit was wonderful! It was hard to reach my room from the front lobby. One of the two TVs in the room did not work. (not that two were needed!) The A/C would not shift from cool to heat. The heater fan in the bath was squeaking. There is a proper grab bar in the shower, but none outside by the toilet. On the other hand the staff were always courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

We enjoyed our two day stay, our room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. The staff was helpful and attentive to our needs, especially the breakfast staff! Each one greeted us with a smile. The matre d had a happy quip ready for us each morning. The free breakfast included a lovely omelet made to order. The Embassy Suites is one of our favorite places to stay while in the Valley.

The matre d had a happy quip ready for us each morning. The free breakfast included a lovely omelet made to order. The Embassy Suites is one of our favorite places to stay while in the Valley.

I was charged double, even after explaining we only need 1 room for 2 nights, they still charged me for a 2nd room. This put a damper on our finances to return home. All I got was a, sorry!

There were some bugs in the room and I didn't care for the layout where the room doors were open to the exterior with no security to prevent access from those not staying at the hotel. Room was dated in some areas. The bed was comfortable though and the room was spacious.

Yes breakfast was very delicious, staff were very polite, Omelet service was the best, kitchen staff were so courteous and the front desk person was also very polite and helpful and understanding. The rooms were clean and comfy, enjoy our stay. Thank you.

Was very surprised at checkin to be asked did I have a car; and if so, it would be $10/day to park it. This was not advertised on Expedia as such. These things need to be declared and made easy to see before booking.

Offering a free drink but only having one bartender to help the long lines was overwhelming. There was no shampoo in the dispenser in my room and my son was given a room with two small beds instead of a king bed which is what I reserved.

Staff was kind and accommodating. Property was over watered. Grass was like a swamp. None of the plumbing worked in the room. Toilet overflowed twice. Sink clogged. Shower clogged. Room not clean. Water stains in ceiling. This property is being neglected.

The grounds and pool area are quite nice. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the happy hour was the solid quality we have come to expect from Embassy Suites. We were first put into a room that backs to the freeway, the traffic noise lasted all night (minus 3 to 5 in the morning). The next morning, we asked Aaron at the front desk for a quieter room. He put us as far from the freeway as possible. Super quiet room and very comfortable. Aaron changed my review from a 2 star to a 4 star review with one nice piece of customer service!!

This hotel has the most amazing breakfast! The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable. I will stay at this hotel every time I travel to Tempe

The beds were full beds not queens and the room was old and carpet needs replacing. Pool was very nice!

The receptionist when we arrived was barely civil and unhelpful she sent us to our rooms without any direction. We were roaming around the property around 1am with children and suitcases and were helped by security to find our way. Fortunately throughout our stay a different receptionist helped us a lot as there were a mixed up on my reservations

Rooms where clean the hot tub and pool could have used a cleaning they had a little bit of a smell to them.

Room had a musty wet smell upon arrival. The breakfast was not properly staffed dirty dishes everywhere hotel was sold out because of conference and tables we unbussed and only one person making omelets wait time was way too long.

The room was very clean. But restaurant on site is a bit over priced. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.

This place is dog meat. I mean it’s bad. It smells bad. Really bad. Like smoke, spilled beer, and one night stands. It’s a convenient location and the staff is very friendly, but it’s a miserable experience. They do provide bottled water which is nice, but if you have another choice, go elsewhere.

This place smells like an old bar. The carpet smells like smoke. It’s run down 90s decor and the stairs are filthy. Dust bunnies and garbage piles in the corners. The staff is friendly but this property is an absolute dump. They need to power wash the outside areas, and it needs a total renovation and remodel. The shower was broken, the A/C smelled terrible. My clothes stunk after staying here. It was a depressing experience.

Very nice ADA room however the roll in shower was NOT accessible to my son’s wheelchair. The design was totally wrong, There was an entry to a long shower where no assistance could be given.

Conveniently located right off the freeway, excellent free breakfast with made to order omelets and other hot items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean with many places to charge devices. The grounds are large so you might have a longer walk to your room, but that’s not a big deal to me. Will definitely stay here when we come to Phoenix again.

Front desk was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was perfect. Bartender was absolutely overwhelmed and rude during the managers reception. Did have quite a scar though when we were given keys to a room that was already occupied. Thank goodness the person was just as shocked as we were and did not attack us especially in an open carry state. The hotel did nothing to try to make the situation better for us.

Everything was pretty great at this property. The only issue that I had, was the bartending staff. Upon arrival at the hotel, the front desk gives you cards for complimentary drinks and tell you kids get unlimited non alcoholic drinks at the bar. The bartender refused to give our kids any soft drinks or even water at that. And when I asked for drinks for the kids and told them front desk told us this was complimentary I was replied to with “Well they’re not and I don’t know who told you that.” Needless to say that was the only problem at the property.

It’s about 10 minutes from the airport. There are restaurants within a one mile walking distance. Large rooms and the breakfast has a lot of choices.

Went to Phoenix, Az on a getaway weekend & when we arrived there was no pool working. Had we knew we would have booked another hotel in 100 degree heat in Phoenix. Was a waste of $ in that aspect!

Toilet acted as if it wasn’t going to flush. Finally flushed after I held the handle down for a couple of minutes. Lamp beside bed on the right did not work correctly all the time.

Friendly staff, stupid Management. The hotel is...old, and it shows. Single pane windows in AZ heat + right next to 2 busy roads means TONS of traffic noise and one side of your room is ALWAYS hot. AC system crippled, it would run constantly and still not keep the room cool. Tub was cracking/peeling and had someone's long hair in it..EWWWWWW. Obvious signs of deferred maintenance in the unit. Peeling paint, peeling finish in tub, doors. Stains on the carpet. Even the office chair was cracked/broken. The air filter was FILTHY black and had cobwebs and hair stuck in it...EWWWWWW Lastly, a $10 car/parking charge. REALLY? They had trucks with trailers blocking 8 spots and STILL had 75% of the spots open for overflow. Parking wasn't at a premium. This is stupid management at it's finest, penny pinching the room maintentance/cleaning but then charging extra to PARK, in Phoenix/Tempe.

Lose water spout and shower head on bath tub, mini fridge had horrible odor. Too noisy to sleep at night with ambience from highway.

As soon as I walked in the room it smiled horrible like a apartment from the 1970s. Not sure what it is the carpets or the fact that it's an old hotel. It looks clean it's just a smell that takes over. The toilet is noisy as well as a AC. Very outdated. They charge $10 to park and the sign say to park out your own risk so I was very hesitant to park my car but like I said they charged $10 a day.

The room was clean and nice - nothing extraordinary but nice. The hallways smelled like marijuana and it was STRONG!!!

Service was great. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was complete... includwd a ln omelette station, pastries, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, juices coffee and my favorite oatmeal with all th fixings. Id definitely stay here again.

Everything about the property was great. I didn’t like the shower head in the bathroom. Old and out dated. And the Tobin the master bedroom was not a smart tv. I ended up paying too much for the room. As I went thru a third party.

The staff was professional and attentative to our needs, very friendly.

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. Parking was not crowded. The pool was clean. We really enjoyed our stay and our family we able to spend time together staying at the same location. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

It is an older facility but has been kept well. Their breakfast ends too early for people vacationing.We didn't get the chance to go to the pool area. The lobby area is huge. We had a one bedroom and it was very nice. We would go back.

I liked the location and how close and easy to get around. Our room was VERY hot and we had to request 2 fans to get us thru. The the toilet was leaking and the maintenance guy just put towels around it and said he would fix it later :( Not happy about wet feet in the bathroom! Paid for a balcony/patio.. didnt get either. Pretty sure I will stay somewhere else from now on.

I made reservation for $181.37. But was charged the full amount of $281.37.

The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing! The only con is that the restaurant menu is a bit limited but their are plenty of restaurants in the area so it's not really a problem! The breakfast buffet was amazing! There was a lot of food ro choose from and even an omelet station!

Our bathroom was not as clean as expected with hairs in the tub and floor. Trash around the property grounds. The maid threw out our pizza that my autistic son was counting on eating.

The overall stay was amazing! The only complaint is it felt like the air conditioning wasn’t working. It’s hot in Arizona and the lowest the thermostat would go was 68 and most of the time it would be warmer than that in the room. But staff was great service was great!

Hotels.com and hotel had issues on reservation and took 35 min to fix. Apparently hotels.com did not forward my information to the hotel. Very frustrating.

Property was well maintained. Convenient to the freeway. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious, comfortable, and clean. Ample parking. Wide variety of breakfast options. Laundry on 3rd floor $2.50 each for washer (28 mins) & dryer (50 mins), but only one of each. (Times are normal cycle)

Loved my stay here.

The fan in our room was loud, and there was a musty smell coming in our room. Outside of that, the grounds, food and staff was wonderful.

We had excellent service at check-in restaurant/bar. Always friendly staff and clean property not too happy about the $10 money grab for parking that they charge. That’s just unnecessary and is a consideration when choosing other properties in the same area.

Breakfast was great but the room had a number of maintenance issues that were frustrating. Not sure a great value for the money considering I just stayed in another embassy suites prior to the Tempe one and the same room cost $300 less for the stay with no maintenance issues.

Staff was very friendly and nice. The room was dirty all around. Bathtub wouldn't drain properly, fridge wasn't cold, the return air vent was leaking, and worst of all.....I found someone's sock in the pull out bed.

Unfortunately, all three treadmills were broken and unusable. Very disappointing. Also; soap dispensers empty in shower, tub didn't fully drain.

I have stayed at this hotel many times usually book through Hilton App because I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member but this time rate was slightly lower for the room type I wanted through Expedia so I booked it. When checking in they had given me a different type room and charged us for parking (which I never had to pay before). He said it was because I booked through Expedia. If I booked through Hilton I would not have had to pay extra and would have had preferred room. This is the second time I have booked through Expedia and been treated to like second class.

Room was not suitable to stay. Needed lots of work before servicing out to public. Price was not right for the room we stay in. Arrived for a late check in and decided to leave as it wasn’t suitable for OUR standards. And believe me, we are not picky what so ever but it was not a good experience.

Property seemed old and the staff seemed a bit under trained as the front desk staff member had trouble filling out my parking pass.

The rooms were backed to freeway which was extremely noisy. Hot water and air conditioner needed fixed in room. Sofa bed was horrible. Housekeepers were rude. Front desk personnel were very nice. Thats the only positive thing.
