Had to change rooms 3 times. None of the rooms had working phones, and the AC was broken in 2 of the rooms as well. Spent the first 2 hours of my less than 24 hour stay moving rooms. Front office personnel was rude and unprofessional

Don’t even know where to start! Do NOT stay here!! This place is nothing like you see in the pictures. After check in and going up the broken hazardous stairs to our room, we were unpleasantly surprised with a dirty room. Crumbs on the counters, floors were so dirty and cigarette burn holes in the bedding!! The room reeked of cigarette smoke. There was no hot water our entire stay! microwave & telephone didn’t work. They only gave us 1 hand towel & 1 bath towel for 2 people. Asked for extras but was told they didn’t have any!! The only positive is the fridge worked! Definitely do not recommend

Towels were clean When I checked in, there was no trash can, one towel for 2 people booking, no remote control for the television, telephone didn't work so I had to go to the office for everything, no breakfast even though it was part of the booking, floor was filthy and I eventually mopped it because it made my socks black. I didn't mind having to get towels from the office every other day. The outside around the door had drink stains on the tile and used cigarette butts in the rocked area. Also, the garbage disposal wasn't working and the tray for the microwave was missing

Nothing The room was filthy, the bed was horrible, and someone crack head probably was knocking on my window at 10:30pm for five minutes straight.

Heads up. This property is under a soon to be different name according to their current sign (ASU extened stay?) and is nothing like the photos. We immediately looked elsewhere. This is not a Baymont Inn like the photos show and in other searches shows up as a Howard Johnson. We were very concerned and did not feel safe at the property.

I didn't like the fact that they took the money out but told me they didn't have anymore rooms. Really messed up my ladies valentines,so wat how would any hard working man feel

There was a shortage of all towels to include: wash clothes, bath matts, hand towels and regular bath towels. The couch and ironing board had multiple stains and the microwave would light up but not heat anything up. The bedroom AC was non operational either. The refrigerator worked well and was very clean and the living area AC worked well.

Had no Hot water the 2nd night of our stay. Told the staff at noon and came back at night and still no hot water. Had to take a cold shower. We only had 1 set of towels for 2 people. Typically you get at least 2 sets of towels in every hotel I have every been in everywhere. The bed appeared to be remade and not actually cleaned as there was hair and debris in the sheets. The price was reasonable so we didn't raise hell but no hot water, come on man do better.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Avoid it, as this property is being changed under another name so the hotel is a mess and doesn’t provide what it promises. We had stayed here before multiple times but now it was completely different. We had always returned because we had a nice experience but after this time never coming back. Room was dirty and the AC did not work properly, they did not provide enough towels; only ONE!! For two people, no facial towel nothing else. When I requested more towels they told me they didn’t have any available and to wait; they never came to bring them neither did they picked up the phone. The breakfast was horrible; only a terrible coffee, waffles and cereal; nothing else. Lastly, the shower had a hanging piece of ceiling and when I was done showering it fell off; almost hit me, this was my last straw. When I asked for a refund they told me I had to email the manager and never heard back. Never staying here again.

Room update was nice, but too much light came through the blinds, needs blackout curtains. Soooo much noise from the road, had to play sound all night to drown out the noise. The road sign "Baymont" was very hard to see at night and the hotel is changing names so the lighted signed on the building said "K" which made it hard to figure out we were at the right place.The room next door started fighting at 3 AM and didnt stop till 4ish. Overall I guess we got what we paid for, but wont return or recommend.

Staff was friendly, bed was comfy. The shower handle was broken, there were bugs everywhere. The parking lot did not have any lights, the tile in the bathroom wasn’t set. The one towel was ripped and stank. The lighting randomly turned off at free will.

Front desk staff & cleaning crew were quite rude about me selecting a late check out via their own text to customer support system. Literally Walked straight in my room, whilst calling profusely after late check out had already been set up. Not ok. Not professional.

This is more of a motel than a hotel. Cleanliness is not there. Our room floors were gross and there was a thick black hair on the stained bath towel. My double room was given away and I was left with 2 rooms for me and my kids to stay in. The breakfast had waffles to pop in toaster, no meat, no eggs, decaf coffee. Just know what you’re getting before booking. Sketchy area too.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It looked like the property was under renovations. Room was decent for the price. Only issue we had was the bathroom light would stay on then shut off after 5 minutes.. and some of the switches to turn on the lights didn’t work properly.

Because of these conditions and lack of response from the front desk, we were forced to purchase brand-new bedding in order to feel somewhat comfortable staying in the room. Additionally, we purchased cookware and groceries with the intention of preparing meals during our stay; however, the stove in the room was not functional, making it impossible to use the kitchen as advertised. We made several attempts to contact the front desk by phone to report these issues, but unfortunately received no meaningful assistance. On multiple occasions the phone line was answered and then disconnected. We also attempted to address the matter in person at the front desk and were told the issue would be resolved, but no action was taken. As the condition of the room continued to worsen and our concerns remained unaddressed, we ultimately had no choice but to leave earlier than planned. Given the unsanitary conditions, the lack of functioning amenities, and the failure to resolve these issues despite multiple attempts to seek assistance, I was forced to contact the parent company directly.

Complete bait and switch from the pictures and listing on hotels.com. The first room they put me in had no power, it took me 2 trips to the office for them to believe me and come look. The 2nd room had zero trash cans, tv didn’t work, 1 small towel, no coffee cups, and had 100 bags of trash outside on the concrete. The listing specifically said breakfast included, which it was not. The entire property was a mess and very neglected. It was so bad, I checked out after 2 nights and went elsewhere.

There was what they considered a grab and go breakfast which offered toast, eggos, yogurt, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, sunny D, coffee, and clementines. It was definitely not as described.

Nice looking apartment. WiFi was slow and NO hot water!! Was bummed about that since there was 5 of us who needed to shower. Thought we found a bedbug but turns out it was a little beetle the front staff verified it. They promised a discount but will see if it happens with the return deposit.

Room was not clear and outdated. They are no longer a Best Western so they do not offer breakfast. No WiFi offered due to change of ownership. The booked room pictures was not what was offered. Overall do not recommend.

There was no breakfast or wifi. I got the deluxe room which the floor was completely soaked when I showered. People were smoking outside and you can smell it in the room. I checked out a day earlier because of this and I was told I would receive a partial refund which they didn’t honor. Will never stay there again

The room was decent, and staff was good. But the area felt unsafe: Two men intently exploring cars in the parking lot after dark, angry yelling and door slamming in the late evening, a drunken person yelling at length across the courtyard in the wee hours of the morning, and the smell of joints seeping into the room. Barely slept.

When you reserve a room request on at the back of the motel. We were given on right next to highway and the sound of traffic was horrible. The bedside phone did not work and considering this was a handicap accessible room this is concerning. I requested a room change and Roul was excellent. He reassigned us to the same style room at the back of the hotel and it was quiet and comfortable. Two draw backs-the bedside table lamp had a burned out bulb, the bathroom door made a lot of noise when trying to close and open it. The door to the room was difficult to close. It required a good tug to shut it. Initially I would have said the breakfast was horrible because the first day my son and I went down to eat at 6:30 and the only thing was horrible tasteless scrambled eggs and bacon so thin it was like a piece of paper, bagels and toast. The belgium waffles would have been good but it was going to take way too long to make one as that was what everyone was waiting in line to make. No yogurt, no pastry, no water dispenser. A small pitcher of Sunny D juice. The second day I was going to just make oatmeal in my room but went down to the breakfast room to get a bowl and surprise-there was yogurt, pastries, oranges, more juice and coffee along with the yucky eggs and bacon. After I collected a few items to take back to the room a very large family arrived-perhaps they had already ate all the food the day before. There was a lot of parking and the place felt safe. I didn’t make it to the breakfast but sure it was fine. Staff was friendly. You definitely get what you pay for. Rooms were outdated and walls were thin. Air conditioner was very loud as well. That being said I only stayed one night and it worked for me.

The rooms was unfortunately very noisy due to being next to the street. Any rooms on the west side of the building will be affected. Wish I would have known that prior to getting the room. I asked for a change, they were unable to accommodate. So sleeping was an issue. But rather close to Scottsdale and ASU, so driving around was easy.

The bath towels smelled like cigarette because of the room. The bathtub was painted but the paint was peeled off and it looked dirty. The drain was very slow so even with a quick shower I was standing in water to my ankles. I just felt dirty being in the room with the smell and standing in water. But the location was perfect so I stayed the 4 nights.

I reported this to the front desk, and they apologized and promptly issued me a new room. Well, the new room also had its issues. Sometime after midnight, I heard a constant drip. I assumed it was the shower or sink and tried ot ignor it for the remainder of the night. It was impossible to ignore the dripping in the morning as the water seemed to increase. The emergency sprinkler system had leaked in my SECOND room, leaving a puddle of water on the floor. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, and they apologized again. I requested a refund, either partial or total, and was informed that the manager would be in contact with me on Monday. That was two weeks ago. I have called three times and still have not heard from anyone. This hotel experience was one of the worst stays.

We were assigned a room but had to look at three others to stay in the best of the bunch. Staff was great. Objects in the room were worn. A roach was on top of the kitchen counter in the first room. A skunk-like smell is infused in the rooms if you know what I mean.

In two of the other rooms, the remotes did not work. The rooms were clean being older hotel. And is service pet friendly. If you are just needing a place to sleep, this place is okay.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is disgusting. There's no staff that's cleaning the rooms daily. In between guest, at best they are just making up the bed (hopefully with fresh linens, but that's even questionable), and putting towels in the room. You can clearly see nothing is being cleaned in between guest stays. The floors were nasty, the tub, nasty, mirrors, nasty, headboard, disgusting. Literally had to clean the room myself, as it was already paid for and couldn't leave without losing my money. I tried to get towels and was advised the two towels that were originally in the room had to be brought down to the front desk in order to get new "clean" towels as there were no staff to bring them to the room.

They will never honor your reservation if you want to extend at the rate you booked. And the blankets pillows, anything with a case. Has burn holes through it all. The door keye is always locking you out, making you have to go talk to the terrible managment that doesnt descalte anything. She instigates and intaginzises customers because she feels she is right. Someone needs to update the lady and tell her that her customers ate the only reason u have a job. And a 200$ deposit is not anywherre close worth lettijg them hold for this motel 6.

Pretty run down low income type of hotel/motel. Smelled bad, sketchy people around, roach invested, AC leaked all over our bedroom floor. Just not a very good experience. Staff was nice.

When I reported the issue, the front desk refused to provide any written confirmation and said the manager was unavailable. This was extremely upsetting and ruined our travel plans. We had to cancel our next hotel because of the bites and health concerns. I do not recommend this property, especially for families with children.

From desk are nice. Property is good for an overnight stay. Long term don’t recommend. You have to request housekeeping, and they don’t clean they just change towels and remove trash. Beds are comfy. Other than that breakfast is the same everyday

The online ratings of this hotel are not correct. It should be rated a 2-star hotel. Trash all around the property... Rooms were nonetheless clean but we will never again stay here! There also is not a daily room service. Very meager room towels. The bed was comfortable enough but we felt terrible there!

We booked for the kitchenette and what we got suited the purpose. Check in was fast, as the staff did not engage at all. Our toilet ran constantly and the bath tub leaked. The pool had no towels available and when we requested some not enough for our family was provided.

It was a good stay although the electricity din work in the sleeping area. I did let management know but by check out time it was still not working. But our overall staying experience was great

We changed our hotel. The pictures looked like the place was decent. It stunk, it’s close to strip club and the bedding was dirty. No TV, bathroom was run down. There were some sketchy people hanging around the hotel. I good thing about this property : Getting a refund was easy, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable and safe. Unfortunately, my room smelled of tobacco. It's a non-smoking room, but the "balcony" offered an ash-tray on the table and was apparently well-used.

The room was clean. But the light outside the hotel was so bright that it kept the room quite lit at night, despite closing the curtains. I like my room dark when I sleep. Also, the air conditioning was quite loud and would wake us up whenever it would start up. The complimentary breakfast was good but on our second morning, the breakfast lady did not show up so we didn't get breakfast. We had to pay to get something elsewhere so a discount on the room price would have been nice but they did not offer that. So if you depend on that breakfast to start your day, be prepared for a plan B.

One set of towels. Ask for more and we were told not until housekeeping arrived, so we shared a wet towel. Came back and housekeeping left no towels. Night manager was the onpy helpful person.

When we first checked in we were given a room that wreaked of cigarettes and the pull out bed was missing the mattress. The pull out couch was filthy, the floors and bathrooms are filthy, the floors are falling apart and unsafe. There are people who live full-time in this hotel. Would not recommend this place at all.

The pool area was disgusting it was dirty when we got there and worse when we left. The ramp to our room area near the pool has anti slip tape that is ripped and wore out and is trip hazard. A young lady walking in front of me tripped and fell on this and rolled in to the gravel beside the sidewalk. I have pictures if any one cares

The rooms are underwhelming. Stark and no I'm comfort qualities. One ice machine for entire property. Pool has no chaise chairs. Is not welcoming.

They Cancelled our reservation 30 minutes before check in before they "should have never rented the room "

The neighbors all smoke inside their units or right out front your window where it gets sucked in through the vents. Everyday we returned and the room smelt like a bar. Never will return would rather have been compensated for some of this. Ridiculous

The room was dirty, I reserved the room for 4 people and found only 1 towel in the bathroom that looked like it's been used. kitchen counter. I ended up canceling and went to the hampton next door for the night

Room had window shutters,did not stop bright light outside window from illuminating the room. Only 1 set of towels left in room. Bathroom counter falling apart. Ceiling over tub with large crack and broken area. Ceiling over window in room unpainted with multiple holes, I assume from curtain rods. There was a small amount of scraps left on floor. Front desk staff did nothing to help with this. Room door slmost took slamming to get in finally locked. And construction on site still going on after 6 pm

Only one bath towel. We were it would be 2 hours before towels would be available. After 2 hours still not ready. We went to bed. Next morning still no towels. Desk and housecleaning gave us attitude about a simple request for towels. Yes it was a busy weekend but the attitude was not needed

We only had one set of towels when we arrived. Coffee maker in our room did not work. Each new day we had to have our keys reactivated so we could get into the lobby for breakfast. No sitting chair in the room. One afternoon we tried to sit by the pool but left after a short time due to the noise of the power washer. When we returned to our room the floor in front of the door was wet from the power washer. The tub faucet dripped the whole time. It apparently has been dripping for a long time as the tub has rust at the drain.

The quality of the room and property upkeep were mediocre. We had to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk (granted we did arrive at 11:30 PM). Our room had one towel. Surprised it had a 3-star rating.

This was the most disgusting room I've ever stayed in and not at all how it was pictured. The room was filthy in every sense... walls with dirt & marking all over, couch was covered in stains, there were 3 empty 40oz beer bottles in one of the cabinets, shower was gross, some of the wiring for the tv just was a hole punctured through the wall eith tape holding it in place... just eww.

Room was clean but TV did not work. Gaps in the door frame. Property was disgusting and full of trash.

TV service was out. The room looked like it was in the process of being remodeled. Big holes where stuff would be installed. The property felt unsafe as there were many men wondering the parking lot and sitting in the stairwells smoking. Maybe because the TV service was out? We packed up, got a refund and left.

My stay was Horrible! I was refused service by the front desk rep . He charged me an outrageous amount of deposits then told me my room is paid then proceeded to say I needed to put a 200$ deposit down and if I wanted to cancel I’d have to only cancel with hotel .com

Place was decent for a one night stay. There were a few problems with the bathroom. We only had one set of towels for the two of us and the towel racks were clear across the room from the tub and sink. Other than that the place was fine. Room was clean, bed ok. Breakfast was nice, scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle iron, cereals, muffins, etc.

Overall it was better then some places I've stayed, but there was only 1 towel in my room and the hot tub was ice cold so was not able to utlilize that. The bed in room was average could use a matress pad and bathroom shower was pretty dirty!

Disappointed that motel was in need of paint and there was overflowing trash can by front door & dog poop near the sidewalk. Had to request toiletries since there was none in the bathroom.

We rented a kitchenette so we could cook during our stay, but they had absolutely nothing in the kitchen, no pot, pans, silverware, absolutely nothing! When we asked for a pot to warm up soup they gave us a fry pan, paper bowls and plastic spoons. The fire alarm went off at 1:30 AM. The entire place was very dirty. We had a one bedroom with a foldout couch/bed. The couch cushions were stained with I don’t know what. There was only one remote for two tvs, only one set of bathroom towels for two guests, and the breakfast didn’t have much to offer. The juice dispenser was out of order and all they had was apple and cranberry juice in pitchers The coffee was weak, no bread offered, and we had to ask for more bananas. This is the most expensive POS hotel I have ever stayed in! I will never stay here ever again!

My kids enjoyed the heated pool!

The outdoor lights are left on all night and there’s no curtains to close on the windows, only shutters that let the light through so it’s hard to sleep. I was only given one towel and no bathmat. It did not feel safe because other people were banging on outside doors in the late night and early morning hours.

While checking in, I was told the property had no hot water but it was being worked on and refund was not guaranteed since I booked through a third party. I got on the phone with Expedia and they were told it was fixed and hot water should be available in 20 minutes. I went back in and took their word. Because I didn’t have the energy to look elsewhere. I went forward with reservations and indeed had hot water in the time they said it would be available. After a long days work I had a good nights rest. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. Next day was able to finish my Christmas shopping with shops near the area. Will definitely be staying there again in the future if the need arises.

Some of the lights in the unit I stayed were not working, and I'm almost certain that half of the people in the lobby sharing the free breakfast experience were nearby homeless people rather than hotel guests.. I've stayed at places recently that provided much more amenities for less $$$

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. I just wanted a clean bed to rest while waiting for a connecting flight in the morning. I went straight to bed only to be woken up by tweakers above me yelling and making all sorts of noise at 3 a.m. This went on for quite some time after reporting to the desk. I’m a heavy sleeper, so I can only imagine the other guests not getting rest either. I got up at 7:30 am to shower only to find there were no towels. When I called the front desk, I was told there would be no towels until 10 am. I had to resort to using my sheet to dry off. That’s when I noticed how dirty and stained the comforter was. I couldn’t leave fast enough. Not sure if I’ll use Expedia again after this experience.

Room smelled like standing water. Hallways around the property and connecting room were wet and no rain in the area for many days. We asked for credit to go and look for another hotel but they said: “talk to Expedia”

The place is well kept and decent. My family and I vacation here every so often. The staff each time is unpleasant upon check-in theres attitude and a sense of annoyance. Its been nine days since my deposit has not refunded. Lesley tried to help but ended with frustration. There wasn't anything brought up on the room or linens within the seven day period. Please return my refund.

The worst hotel experience I've ever had. Nothing in the room was clean. Visible rust, dirt, damage on walls, areas on walls or ceiling missing paint. No one ever came to clean the room while I was staying (5 days). I went to the front desk multiple times asking for someone to bring me clean towels, but never recieved. I also asked the front desk to send someone to take my trash & clean but no one ever came. The hot tub & pool were closed for maintenance & i was told on wednesday that they would be repaired & reopened on thursday but niether ever reopened during my stay (I checked out the following Monday). I was told every time I went to the front desk that "notes" were added so that the things I had requested would be seen but never saw anyone actually typing "notes". Very disappointed with this experience.

Room was pretty dusty and dirty. I checked in next to mid night and have to leave really early in the morning. I could not cancel the room due to time constraints. Besides the dirty floors, the worst was the bathroom, it was moldy, old and dirty.

Had to stay two weeks in this property, breakfast was free but lacking. My room was spacious but tub and bathroom were not great. Staff was friendly, property was not as cared for as it could be. Trash was in hall/stairwells, the grounds need some regular checks and sprucing.

The place in general was really not bad, the rooms were very spacious. It was a little run down, but not too bad. The only bad thing I can really say is, don't get any rooms in building A, unless you are a deep sleeper. Building A is right next to the road, and you hear every loud car or motorcycle driving by.

Easy check-in no hassle

I found a room attendant next morning asked for new sheets to be placed. Which she did. However, did not clean room for 3 days, empty garbage at all. We had 1 towel for 2 people. The shower handle fell off when we used it, shower doors not sealed so water all over floor. Changed our towels and took dirty ones on 3rd day. Left us 1 towel again. The spill out front of door was not cleaned up till our last day. The piece de resistance is they had bed bugs. My husband is bit all over. And now comes the decontamination of everything.

The outside area and parking was disgusting. There was a dirty sock on the stairs for 4 days, along with food, poop and other random junk. We only got one towel set for our room to start and no housekeeping (which is fine) but then had to ask every time we needed towels and toilet paper. There was only one remote for 2 TVs so we had to go back and forth when someone needed it. We asked the desk and they said they would find one, we never got one. The toilet was so old and barely had any water in it so it clogged easily. We asked for a plunger but they said they were out and had to wait for maintenance to come (also never came) so we had to go buy one.

I didnt like the metal under bed and hot tub not working

The downsides: slow internet and bright lights. I was getting less than 10mbps. Also, they switched over to plantstion style shutters in the room, which look nice, but allow a lot of light in at night. The motel uses super bright lights outside for safety and it bleeds through the shutters. I would wake up in the middle of the night and think it was 7am only to find out it was 2am.

Staff great. Cute place. Well maintained for the most part. Stayed for two days. No room service for second day. One bath towel in room. No bath mat. Don’t wear white socks- floor very dirty.

Didn’t like that housekeeping didn’t come till I phoned for them to come . I stayed 7 days and had to call for them to come clean the room also no dishes in the room . I had to go ask for coffee for my room . When I got here there was not a bath mat .

It needs to have security

After our first night of staying, I called the front desk and asked them to clean the room for us. When we returned in the evening, our room was not cleaned. I went to the front desk and they were respectable and changed us to a diffdifferent room. The next day, I called again and asked them to clean our room. Again, the same thing happened. This time, the treatment I received was shocking, to say the least. They said they were not only not going to switch rooms for us, but they were not going to clean our room. I asked if I could get a refund and I'll gladly go somewhere else. They refused. I spoke with the manager, and she said there's nothing she could do for us. She would try to compensate for their wrongdoing. I asked how they planned to do that. She said she would offer us half of our money back. I explained that if we did not get a different room, get our room cleaned, or get a full refund, I would call the cops and make a report. She hung the phone and called the cops and decided to trespass me. This will not be the end. I WILL file a civil lawsuit. I want to add that it didn't even complain of the false advertisement of the rooms. At the end of the day, I still decided to stay because I didn't want to make my wife and my 5-year-old child wait.
