Looks nice but rooms are not comfortable, linen is old and worn, mattress is subpar, high pitched constant sound from the AC unit, made the stay almost unbearable.

Room was a good size. Staff was friendly. Did not like the bed, just not comfortable for me and my wife. The toilet seat was square and just awkward and the flush didn't work every time. Parking was across the street but was fine. House keeping came through and remade the bed without changing sheets. Replaced the towels but only left 1 face/wash cloth. There is more to say, but let's just say we will be staying somewhere else next visit.

Whether you’re spending time in Tempe or want to be close to the freeway to hit other parts of town, this hotel is in an excellent location. It is clean, well decorated, and modern. Nice amenities, comfortable bed and spacious shower. The parking garage is a very short walk and is not free. My room had a bit of a funky odor, but nothing significant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

We had a great stay at the hotel with helpful staff all around. I did find it a bit challenging that towel replenishment came around 4-5:00 pm each day. Ideally, an early morning or noon timeframe would be ideal. We do appreciate your hospitality!

Clean room. I’d go to the front with questions and sometimes have to wait, but not long. I didn’t know where to get pool towels so signs would’ve been nice.

A special shoutout to Logan, who was absolutely phenomenal. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, kept the area spotless, and brought a positive, welcoming energy that really stood out. His attention to detail and friendly attitude made the breakfast experience even better. The only small hiccup came at the very end when we requested a one-hour late checkout. The front desk staff member we spoke with was a bit rude and came across as petty about the request. That said, we were still able to get a complimentary 30-minute extension, which we appreciated. Overall, a very positive stay, and we’d definitely come back.

Awesome hotel! Lot's of great little touches - loved the towels being hung inside the shower. It's the small things. Bartender, (Garrett I think,) was awesome. Great sport dealing with a big crowd. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect for a one night stay before leaving for the airport the next morning.

Apart from paying for my stay, I had to pay for parking. The room I got was for handicap and after requesting a different room I was told I’d receive notification of availability which I never received. The pool wasn’t available due to it being reserved but it was never mention online when reservations were made. Bit disappointed.

The check in took hours and I was forced to get any room in a rush in order to dont miss my meetings in town. I got a double when I book a king. Very bad night. Folks from the frontdesk (Felix) tought tha giving us free breakfast will ease the situation. Bad experience for me and my wife. Ah, I coudnt add my Marriot points as well. Nightmare

We liked the pool

The only staff member who made an effort to help was a security guard named Rob, who acknowledged the issue and attempted to improve the situation by providing fans and deodorizers. We appreciated his professionalism. I was in town with my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team for a tournament and had recommended this hotel to multiple families from our school. In total, five families stayed at the property. Unfortunately, due to this experience and the lack of adequate response, I would not stay at or recommend this hotel in the future.

Check in was very easy and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was my daughter’s birthday and they were so helpful letting us celebrate with her sports team in the lobby. We had a one bedroom suite and the only negative is our room faced the street where trolly goes by and makes lots of noise. It makes it hard to sleep past 6am. If you like to hike a mountain across the street or walk the river walk it’s right there.

Excellent room, I was not disappointed at all. A little noisy but the everything else made up for it.

The hotel, its location, and the amenities were top notch. Could not be beat! I am loving the AC Hotel line. However, I think this particular hotel needs to hire more staff for overnight and breakfast services- especially during busy times. The staff they had on were AMAZING (can not emphasize this enough) but it was hard to watch them be overburdened while trying to take the very best care of their guests.

We got a handicap room which worked out great because we can to Tempe for race and had a big bike box with us. The wider walkway made moving it easier. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. The only issue was with housecleaning. They did not make up the other double bed because we bought our own pillows and one time had an article of clothing. In the past and all of the other hotels we have stayed at this has never been an issue. Also, on the first day, there was no body wash in the dispenser. Otherwise stay was great and convenient to what our plans were.

What made this hotel night a slight nightmare was something that may not have been 100% controllable the first time. The second and third time the fire alarm went off(unnecessarily) was absolutely not ok. Around 12 am in the hallways. Then 2 more times IN room. It was horribly loud ear piercing jolting you awake. We left at 7 am. Upon check out no Manager was on duty and no compensation was offered. But honestly im not sure what could have made us feel better.

Our stay here was fine, the rooms were clean and it was in a very walkable location. They messed up and gave us the wrong room at first but it was resolved fairly quickly.

The main issues with our first room on the second floor was the bathroom glass barn door wasn’t installed correctly causing the door to stick, hard to move and jump out of the track. Also the charging outlets in the center bedside table didn’t work. We were transferred to another room which was much better in regards to these two items. To turn off the accent lights under the bench we had to unplug them.

The lighting was very dim without the ability to turn it up. I could barely see enough to put on makeup or do my hair which was an anomaly given how many hotels I’ve stayed in. The breakfast buffet is too expensive for what you get. Otherwise a nice property.

Also, the trash dumpsters outside the hotel get emptied at 5am on a Sunday and there is roughly 20 of them, I think. It sounds like someone is throwing rocks at your window for 30 minutes straight.

Great and comfy room. Only downside was the noise from the street, college kids (I’m assuming) revving the cars and speeding at all hours of the night. I will stay again but will definitely ask for a room away the street.

Did a short staycation with my friends and we loved the hotel!!! It was quiet and not too busy. Rooftop pool had a great vibe and the view was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was our hotel room view was great there was just a giant dumpster that took away from the view a little bit. Overall had a great time and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Tempe.

There were three reasons why I didn't give this property five stars. The staff, the room and the food were great - but the location is a little weird - sterile and not at all welcoming from the outside - I felt like I was in a dystopian novel. And instead of parking at the property, you have to drive a couple of blocks and then walk back and forth to the hotel in the blazing heat - NOT convenient. And lastly, the lighting in the bathroom is so dim that it's not great for us ladies who need to apply makeup. But I can't say enough about the staff and the room - that part was excellent.

Our stay was okay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff doesn’t bother you. The rooms are soundproof which is nice not hearing noise from nearby rooms. The issue is the past few times we’ve stayed at an AC Marriott in Arizona the hotel’s restaurant has been closed. Very inconvenient and frustrating.

Also my husband asked for a coffee in the lounge/bar area and was met with the response don’t you have it in your room. He replied he did not like it (room coffee was undrinkable!) she begrudgingly said she could do it but no decaf. Lame service and amenities.

Perfectly located, beautiful hotel! However, you should be 100% comfortable with you partner. The sliding bathroom door has a good 1" of open space between the wall and you can hear EVERYTHING.

The hotel was nice, but i wasnt told the water was gonna be out during both nights of my stay. So could not shower, brush teeth, or use the restroom. Was very confused the first night and frustrated the second night since i wasnt notified at all. That was the biggest negative, another is i paid for a lake view but it was partial since the complex on the other side blocked most of it. The hotel however was clean

Nice location. Clean and modern hotel. Paid parking in parking garage but they allowed me to park and charge at the ChargePoint charger outside the hotel. Charging is not free it is 25 cents /KWh. Our sofa bed would not come out and it took them an hour to send someone up but they compensated by providing another room. Overall good experience.

Stay was fine and property was clean. But the area is somewhat loud and we were there over the weekend. No complimentary breakfast or even coffee. Onsite parking is in a nearby parking garage and there’s a daily fee. They say you have in & out privileges but the bar code didn’t work consistently so we ended up paying extra. We were in a rush so weren’t able to discuss with hotel. Staff was ok but not terribly welcoming.

The only thing I didn't like about the room is that the AC was quite loud, made a vibration on the wall when on. The bathroom door also isn't made to close all the way so if rooming with friends, know this.

For the price we paid during our stay the room was NOT quiet as advertised and bar, dining and convenience store was very pricey. Only one type of coffee (caffeinated and decaf) available in room for two guest which meant we had to go to the lobby and wait for more coffee to be brewed.

Upon our arrival on Friday afternoon we asked what time the restaurant would close. We were told 10 p.m. We returned to the hotel at 9:30 and the lady serving the bar and restaurant told us the restaurant closed at 9:30 so we had to leave and find a place to eat. The following evening we went to the bar for drinks. We sat and waited for the same lady to serve us for 15 minutes. She completely ignored us while talking with someone at the bar. The place was not busy at all. We finally ended up going to the bar to order and we also felt we were over charged. The hotel overall was O.K. A little expensive for what it was but it was O.K.

Stayed 3 nights- asked for quick room clean up on Sunday while out from 7:45am to 12:15pm - was told they put it in as priority clean, they wouldn’t guarantee it though. Literally I just asked for the room to be tidied, garbage taken out, towels refreshed. And it wasn’t done, it was very disappointing so we never got cleaning service during our stay since we needed to be in the room to prepare for, our events in the afternoon. So I had to track down the housekeeping cart to get a few extra towels and toilet paper.

I recommend this hotel! Great location beautiful rooms and amazing staff! We left something behind after we checked out and Carlos went over and beyond to locate the item. Couldn't thank him enough!

My friend and I had Cedrick help us out and we had to wait for our room to be ready. Had to wait about 2hrs but he was very nice and answered all my questions and had a drink and every one in general was just great. Totally will go again.

Well located if you're visiting the Zoo or the Desert Botanical Garden (recommended!), this hotel on the edge of Tempe by the river has a spacious room, nice bed, decent pool on the roof, coffee in-room (and also in the lobby), good breakfast spread - and very nice staff. The parking garage felt a little steep at $18/day, but the hotel code makes it easy to enter and exit whenever needed. A great full service, slightly less expensive choice in Tempe.

The pool area was nice however it was not heated for the cool evening. This was a great value for the stay. It is located about 15-20 mins from all attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

A valet service for checking in this late and parking would be nice. I felt unsafe walking back to the hotel alone.

The proximity to so much to do in Tempe made this stay so nice and convenient. It’s on the metro line, walkable to the Tempe lake and park with so much to do. The staff was courteous and the hotel is so efficient and welcoming. The best bed I’ve ever slept on at a hotel. Had a great time for our short stay!

The property is a great location. The property has everything you would need and more. It is clean, nice workout room, nice sun deck, great staff (eapecially Jordan in the morning breakfast area) and again the location.

Being late we went to bed. In the morning I had a large warning sticker GLUED to my driver's side window. Making it unsafe to drive. Had to go to hardware store to purchase razor blades and glue remover. The staff did not inform me of the return from garage issue and no one was around to inform of my problem. A large GLUED on warning sticker was not warranted.

Planes started flying over at 6am and they were LOUD. Then jumped in the shower and it was dirty. Plenty of other options in the area around the same price, I'm not coming back

Overall, an excellent stay. We enjoyed the location and staff were very friendly. I would say this hotel is not full of “frills” but delivers very well for its intended niche. Some might have an issue with the constant flow of jets overhead (be aware the hotel is pretty much directly under the airport flight path), but we did not find the noise in room to be too bothersome. Self parking in the parkade next door was easy and convenient (and one of the reasons we selected this hotel given what seems to be a plethora of “valet only” options amongst competitors).

If you are someone who needs it to be quiet while you sleep, choose a different hotel. This place was loud from the busy road outside and the slamming doors from every direction. Tried having sleep sounds and that didn’t help. The hotel was very clean, everyone was very friendly. The coffee pot didn’t have a plug In available anywhere that I could find. Good location.

My only complaint is that the bathroom sink would not drain prpowrply due to a broken or faulty drain stopper.

The room was next to a venue where we attended a wedding but very clean room n rain wzter effect showers!! Love that!!
