Best Western Taylor Inn

The property is a bit dated but it has plenty of parking and the lot is lighted well and very clean. This is one of the cleanest motels I have been to in a long time. No missing or chipped paint, everything was in its place and working. The floors, tub, sink and counters were spotless. All the way down to the grout lines in the tile. Spotless!!!

Parking was free and easy. The room had hair all in it and the mattress was not comfortable. There was a guy who sat outside his room and drank two 12-packs while we were there with our son…. Not super safe or family friendly, but no one’s fault per se

The furniture and decor were very nice and the beds and sink were clean. The carpet was dirty. The tub was clean but the toilet and bathroom floor were dirty. There was A LOT of hair on the bathroom floor and two pieces of hair in the sink.

The parking lot was well lit, the rooms were very clean, and it was quiet.

Photos did not accurately depict the condition of the hotel and room. Toilet would not stop running. Towels were damp. There were a lot of men hanging around outside. Did not seem safe

the only thing that was a concern, was the telephone in the room was not in working order. This is a must in my opinion, in case of an emergency and your cell phone is not available.

Smelled horrible. Coffee maker had sour water in the reservoir. The Ice maker outside did not work. Cracks under the door to outside parking area. Best for working men..

First thing was the smell when we walked in, like dirty feet and wet dog. Carpet had obviously not been vacuumed in a while. Only one wash rag. We were told breakfast was 6 to 9. Went at 8:00 and was told breakfast had ended, not even coffee.

There was mold all over shower. Room smelled horrible. For the cost of room would never stay again!!!

I didn't really venture around the property other than to get a drink out of the vending machine. I enjoyed the quiet and the A/C. It was not far from the Williamson County Expo Center. It is cricket season but I was upstairs and didn't have issues with them.

Check in was easy and simple and very nice people to help you. The down side was the rooms are dirty and old soda spilled and been there a while. Even had someone’s old chips in chair. Slept great but had to clean up after the last person.

Great hotel from staff efficiency to hot shower and very comfortable bed. Everything went perfect and I would definitely recommend this hotel as a must stay if in Taylor Texas.

The property manager sunny was disrespectful and don't like fixing things like the TV didn't work and he wouldn't fix it... Also he don't listen to what the customer has to say nor does he not give you the room you select on line.. he gives what he wants to give ... Anyways just because I said the TV don't work and complain about my room now I'm band from coming to the best western in Taylor ... In Concussion he's just disrespectful and don't know what he's doing... Ps . He also kept my credit card and denied handing it back to me ...

There were a bunch of junk work trucks in parking lot and sketchy people hanging out on the walkways. Beer cases piled under the stairs and just a really bad vibe about the property and patrons. I really do not understand the positive rating on Expedia. we were booked for 2 nights and was only able to get 1 night refunded

Great stay at Best Western. Breakfast in morning was good. Hotel room was clean and everything worked well. Outdoor pool was cold but it was working.

Check in was quick and friendly service by receptionist. Everything was great! Big room, bed, and desk,etc.

No hot water. Room had an odor.

The stay was good, except that the sidewalk and parking area needed to be cleaned. There was a sticky spill in front of our door when we arrived, and never was cleaned up. After cleaning our room, no towels were left and we had to go to the office and ask for them. The checkin clerk was extremely nice and friendly.

Landscaping was beautiful. Convenient location. Bed had a huge lump in the mattress. Bathroom fixtures were outdated and not in good shape.

The staff was very friendly. From check in to check out we only experienced friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean. Didn't get to check out the pool but it looked nice. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

Super small beds, no option for king with sofa bed either. No hot water the first night we were there. Breakfast kept running out and you had to wait for staff to bring out 1 serving of food at at time.

Quick one night trip for a wedding, room is very remodeled and nice lots of options at continental breakfast!

We had no bath towels and when we asked for some we got 2 towels for 3 people so had to go get more.

Hotel is old but clean. Probably time to update the AC window units. The AC was so loud that it kept us up all night. None of us got any sleep.

Is a quit place

I did not get my wake up call because the phone was not connected. There was a faulty cord and so someone just disconnected and left it. Fortunately I had set my alarm on my phone. There doesnt seem to be a sense of urgency.

The shower water pressure and temperature was one of the BEST I have experience with all my hotel stays in years -Room looked recently updated carpet - bathroom plain refrigerator worked Great- sometimes they don't seem to get cold enough for me. Did not eat breakfast.Bef was comfortable.

Two night stay while visiting Taylor, TX. Hotel was very nice and breakfast was enough for us. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not clean our room. The front desk lady was very apologetic and brought us clean towels.

Overall was a safe property, & quited but just we notice at the breakfast bar almost everything was expired like the yogurt, sweet bread , we mentioned to the women in the front desk , she got like bothered & upset about it. Not sure why . The room was dusty.

Staff got us a new remote for TV. This is a clean but dated property. Breakfast was OK. Staff got us fresh coffee. Had to climb outside stairs, but that's what is available.

This is an old property. It was clean and comfortable, but it's next to an municipal airport, and it's a drive to find restaurants.

The room was nice and clean. But, the AC condensation soaked the carpet just inside the door. Wasn’t pleasant stepping on wet carpet I bare feet.

Dont like the fact I booked a king size bed room when I get there lady at front desk looks up my reservation. Then I get keys to my room open the door and I see double beds! So I call dwn to front desk to tell her this is not what I reserved then she tells me that’s all they had ! Would’ve appreciated that if she had told before swiping my credit card .

The hotel was very clean. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. My husband was in Taylor taking a class for his job, and I tagged along. They told us the best route for him to get to class during morning traffic, and gave us restaurant recommendations for dinners. We will definitely be back!

Host was very helpful especially with my late arrival and the bed was so comfy

We only stayed for 1 night and the restroom was clogged we had to go get the pump in able to make the restroom work.Not worth for what you pay for. Wont be staying here again

This property is overpriced for the condition of facilities. There were loud fights late at night, and disruptive people next door. The management did intervene at one point, but loud noise and fighting resumed again later. Not an ideal place for relatives to stay while visiting.

Check in was fast and easy. The manager on duty was very pleasant and helpful and answered any questions I had. My room was very clean and neat when I arrived and the room was already cool from the air conditioner which was a pleasant surprise. If there was anything negative in any way it was that the municipal airport is right next door to the hotel so you do have aircraft noise occasionally during the 6am-9pm time frame.

We could hear every sound from the adjacent room, when they talked even in normal voices it sounded like they were standing in our room. There was black slimy mold around the edges of the shower stall and the room was dusty. This was NOT a 3-star hotel.

Perfect Latin to visit my neohews house. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of items. The hist was very pleasant. The room was great. The TV remote did not work and it was difficult to figure it how to change and locate channels.

Website said that we would have 2 queen beds, they were full. There were dead bugs in the bathroom & hair on the wall from previous occupants. Our toilet got clogged, so I went to the front desk to make them aware & I was handed a plunger to do it myself

We hoped to have breakfast but were told because of the covid it wasnt available. The hotel we stayed in the previous night did supply breakfast so we disappointed.

I booked the room for one of my guys. He felt something bite him the first night and didn’t really think much about it. The second night he checked and there were spiders on the floor and bugs in the carpet. I have pics if there is some way to download them. It was nasty.
